    The next few days were flying by and the Wedding was in 2 days, we had
kids flying in and people were running around like chickens with heads cut
off. Everyone was a wreck but Micah he was as calm as he could be as he sat
in his chair with David in his lap reading him a story, they were so good
together I was amazed that we were so blessed in our lives.

Beth walked up and hugged me and asked if everything was okay, I said; it
was fantastic I was counting our good blessings, so how is that future
husband of yours doing. I think he loves that truck as much as he loves me,
he's called the shop every day to check on it he treats it like a new baby
said; Beth. I'll let you in on a little secret it will be ready for your
Wedding so you can go on your Honeymoon in it my sweet little girl just
don't tell him or let your Daddy know I told you, Beth hugged me even more
and said; I love you Poppa.

Galen came in the front door and flopped down on the sofa, David noticed he
was sad so he got out of Micah's lap and went to Galen and said; don't be
sad tomorrow is another day and great things are going to happen in two
days because you are marrying my sister and then we will really be brothers
for sure. Galen looked up and smiled and hugged the little boy and said;
thanks I needed that. You're welcome my beautiful redheaded friend. It was
perfect. Adam came in with Makayla and said; Daddy our car broke down and
only 2 days until the wedding. David popped off since Daddy has a new truck
why don't all of you just borrow the van. They all groaned and Adam said;
only as a last resort.

All of the kids headed to Galen's house for a little alone time, after they
left David asked did I do okay Daddy? Micah laughed and hugged him saying
you were perfect young man now for the next step; he picked up the phone
and called someone as they talked the chuckled and high fived David. I
looked at the two partners in crime and said; you better be nice or Beth is
going to whip the both of you, they both laughed. Micah said; its 4:00 lets
go get an ice cream at WD which caused David to jump for joy and say; Yes
I'll race you to the truck, I walked to the truck and got into it and sat
down and said; only two more days and our little girl will be a married
woman. Don't be blue Poppa she'll be just down the drive and she can visit
when she wants to plus I'm here so you and Daddy won't be lonely. David
have I told you how smart you are and I love you so very much. David
responded; I know, the Angel Lady said that I needed to come live with you
to keep you and daddy from being sad. David is your seatbelt on before we
drive off. Yes sir it is.

Later that night after David and Beth were in bed I asked Micah, did you
hear what David said earlier today, Micah responded, yes I did and it was
the same thing Adam said all those years ago about Mrs. Sorenson, maybe we
do have a sweet Guardian Angel watching out for us.

It was the day of the wedding and it was total pandemonium the power was
out but that was nothing new but curling irons and blow-dryers won't work
without it there were cold showers and cold cereal for breakfast. At least
it was a nice day for an outside wedding everyone was running late,
everyone but David who was dressed and ready for his part of the wedding as
ring bearer. The guys were at Galen's house getting ready the girls at
Makayla's as Micah and I was dressing, I said; are you ready for today
daddy to which he responded: not really how about you?  Not at all but
whether we want it or not it's going to happen so let's just suck it up and
put on a happy face for Elizabeth. Suddenly the power came back on we were
now going into the home stretch.

As we walked out of the bedroom David busted out Laughing, you two look
funny. Oh yeah said; Micah and your Poppa dressed you funny to so there
back to you he started laughing. I looked at them and said; you two knock
it off It's their wedding so suck it up. And Daddy don't forget your hat
and tossed it to him, if looks could kill I would have been dead meat.

It was time for the wedding Micah and me along with David, Zach and Isla
stood at the back of the aisle getting ready to walk Makayla and Elizabeth
up to the front. At the front stood Adam and Galen waiting for their
brides, they were dressed in Pink Camo outfits hats and all as were all of
the men involved. Isla wore a lite pink dress trimmed in pink camo.

Elizabeth and Makayla's dresses were white lace trimmed in pink camo, the
camo was Makayla's demand and the white lace was Elizabeth's. Zach and Isla
walked Makayla up the aisle followed by David carrying the rings then Micah
and I walked our daughter Elizabeth up the aisle. The marriage rites were
exchanged and the two couples were presented to the Community because all
of them attended and others from different sects did also. It was a massive
celebration that lasted for hours during the meantime they had delivered
Galen's truck and it was sitting in front of their house. It looked like it
was brand new Micah had it restored to like new condition. It was getting
late and the two couples were getting tired. Micah said; it looks like you
four might want to get a move on it before it gets too late, a plane is
waiting to take you to the airport in Belize City for your honeymoon.

 David walked up to Galen and tugged on his pants leg, Galen bent down to
see what he wanted that's when he handed Galen the keys to his truck and
told it was parked in front of their house. We followed him as he walked to
the house to get the truck so they could leave, when he saw his truck he
let out the biggest yelp we had ever heard and took off running towards the
truck, he stopped and ran back to Beth picked her up and ran to his
truck. He was one happy young man he was jumping up and down like he didn't
have good sense, he ran to Micah and hugged him and said; thank you Daddy
you have made me the happiest man in the world today first you allowed me
to marry the love of my life and now this truck you and Poppa are too much
I love you both, he looked at David and grabbed him up and hugged him and
said; you knew about this all along little brother and you kept it a
secret, I love you too. Their luggage was in the truck so the two couples
got into the truck and left for the airport for their honeymoon. So Micah
where are they going for a week you never told us. Micah spoke and said;
Zach and I sent them to the Bahamas for a week to an all-inclusive resort,
they will find out about it when they get to the airport in Belize City. I
looked at them and said; you two are dirty dogs for keeping those kids in
the dark. Isla spoke up and said; you're right it is a dirty trick to pull
on them, but I like it.

After the wedding we went to the house for the night, David took a bath
Micah and I sat down to rest for a minute and made small talk. David came
into the living room dressed in his pajamas; he crawled into my lap and
snuggled up next to me. David said; can I ask you a question Poppa, sure
you can David what's up. You and Daddy love each other and sleep together
in the same bed and make special love. Yes; we do David is that a problem
for you, because we love each other and sleep with each other. Nope
answered David; I just think it's neat that you love each other and you
love me enough to and watch out for me, you and Daddy are very special
people. Micah moved to the sofa and sat beside us and hugged us and said; I
love all of the special people in my life.

On Monday while everyone was out and at school I decided to go through a
few boxes when the phone rang, it was the center there was a problem with
David and could I come and see to him. As I walked into the center I saw
him sitting in a chair along the wall with a couple others children his
clothes were ripped and he wouldn't look up at me, I entered the office and
there were two other couples and the director waiting she spoke up and
asked me to have a seat. I sat down and she started to speak. There was an
altercation involving your children today on the play yard and we need to
correct this matter.

The director called the children in to tell us parents what took place on
the playground. I looked at David and asked him to tell us why he hit
someone else. He walked up to me where I was sitting eating my snack and
called me a freak so I didn't do anything then he said; you and Daddy were
a mistake, I told him God doesn't make mistakes. He knocked my snack out of
my hand and said; and the worst one is your ugly funny looking sister so I
hit him, then he pushed me down and spit on me, that's when Erin came up
and told him to stop he hit her in the nose called her a redheaded freak
and told to mind her own business, so I got up and kicked his ass because
no man hits on a girl.

The parents sat there in shock as David told his story, Erin said; that's
what happened mommy he was protecting me. The other little boy's parents
were appalled at what they heard from David. The father of the little boy
stood up and said; Kaden Allen apologize to these kids for what you said
and did; and if you ever see the light of day again you'll be lucky. The
little boy stood there and said through tears that he was sorry for what he
said about David and his family, The father asked why did you say something
like that in the first place son, Tommie said; it daddy so I thought it was
true. The truth had come out it seems that Tommie is his brother and a
young teenager who has anger issues and had to go before the Elders, he was
made to clean up the community as restitution for damaging someone's
property. The mother said; Tommie will be back to see the Elders to correct
his actions that caused this trouble. I proposed that all of the families
gather on Wednesday night for a pasta supper to help show Erin, Tommie and
Kaden how much alike we really were. They said that they would be there for
supper. Kaden said; momma Tommie won't go, he told me that he hated Elder
Micah for making him pick up trash; don't worry son he'll be there if your
father has to hog tie him and drags his butt there. We decided that it
would be ok that the children stay at school for the rest of the day.

Micah came in and sat in his chair and asked how my day went, I said; it
was okay and how was yours to which he responded; okay. David came in the
house from classes at the center and headed to the bathroom, when his Daddy
saw the mess that his clothes were in he said; stop right there young man,
can you tell me what happened to your clothes. David responded; it's okay
Daddy, Poppa knows all about it ask him I have to you use the bathroom.

Oh, that's right I forgot to tell you, your son got into a fight today at
the center no big deal. Clayton did you see his clothes, yes I did and I
also saw the other little boy who's butt he whipped for making fun of his
sister and family and hitting his little redheaded female friend in the
nose. And before I forget to tell you we are hosting a pasta supper
Wednesday night between all of the families who kids were in the
fight. Micah sat in his chair with a blank expression on his face.

The doorbell rang so Micah went to answer it, there stood the Holden's he
asked if they could come inside and talk to us about the troubles that were
going on. Micah showed the couple in and had them to sit down on the sofa,
Stephan started out he said; they were beside themselves they were trying
everything they could but Tommie was getting out of hand more and more, for
the first 2 years it was okay but after Kaden was placed in their home he
had gotten out of hand. David walked into the room and sat in Micah's lap
and listened to them speak; they had no information on Tommie before he
arrived to their house, Kaden was an orphan.

 David tugged his daddy's shirt and whispered something to him and Micah's
face turned white and said; David has something to say.

 David started out; I remember Tommie; he lived at one of my old houses
when I was younger, one day a mean man took him to the back room and there
was a lot of noise and crying, he had red stuff on him and then the man and
my old parents got into a big fight.

 Tommie was on the bed with no clothes on covered in red stuff and he
wouldn't wake up, Mommy said; the man broke him and they had to put him out
with the other broken things so later that night we moved to another
house. We had different men as fathers but the same mommy; they thought he
was broken like the man had broken my little sister when they put her out
back with the broken things.

 Stephan and Ellen sat on the sofa in horror as David told his story about
Tommie, so he said; don't blame Tommie he still hurts from what the mean
men did to him over and over. Ellen burst out in tears saying she was so
sorry they didn't know about his past, I said; no one knew Ellen not until
now and we will see to it that Tommie gets the very best of care. Stephan
asked if it would be ok if he brought Tommie to see David; Micah said;
bring both of the boys back so they can both be a part of the meeting
tonight here at the house.

 Stephan left while Ellen got to know David, in a few minutes he returned
with Kalen who walked in but Tommie who was 15 didn't want to come in he
fought Stephan all of the way after he was inside, he was like a scared
animal looking for a way to escape. David said; hello Tommie how have you
been, Tommie covered his head and screamed you can't be here your dead they
killed you too, they threw me out back and then you and sister were
gone. Tommie we were the lucky ones we survived and now live with families
that love us.

 Ellen and Stephan sat on the floor with Tommie and hugged him as he cried,
Kaden came up and hugged him saying don't cry big brother it will be okay
we love you.  15 years of pain and horror hit Tommie harder than a brick
wall he sobbed and sobbed. David walked up to Tommie and said; you're safe
now Tommie no one will ever hurt them again and if they try my other big
brother Galen will knock them out.

It would take a lot of therapy for Tommie to adjust to what would be a very
life for him.

The pasta supper went very well and all four kids got along well, David
showed Tommie his room and told him all about the family and how he was
treated by everyone, especially his Daddy and Poppa, he wanted him to meet
his sister Beth and Galen the neat big brother with red hair who would
watch over him.

Tommie came into the living room and asked if we would help him make the
men that had hurt him and David held accountable so others didn't have to
go through what they did and for their sister who was no longer with them
because of the bad men. Micah, Stephan, Ellen and I said; we would do
whatever it took to bring these people to justice and make sure they paid
for it. What happened to our mom and the man she was with? Micah said; they
were killed in a drug deal that had gone bad, that's how David came to live
in our home. Tommie said; good I hope they burn in hell.
