The Mennonite - The Next Generation 5

    The day had arrived and the kids were due back from their honeymoon. We
were so excited, Izaack was bouncing off of the walls at the house he was
missing him some Galen. When they got home Beth came and hugged mine and
her Daddy's neck saying she loved the honeymoon but was glad to be at her
home. Galen hugged our necks as did Adam and Makayla everyone was there and
there were hugs all around. David asked Galen if he brought him back
anything from the Bahamas; Galen picked him up and hugged him and said; let
us get unpacked and Beth and I will bring your gifts to the house in a
little while. Good said; David, because I have a surprise for you, Beth,
Adam and Makayla when you get there.

I called the Holden's and asked them if they could come over, David was
about to explode. He wanted to introduce Tommie to everyone now that they
were back if that was okay, Stephan said; he would send him over to our
house. Oh no Stephan, you are all expected to be here for a proper
induction into the family per. Micah. Stephan stuttered and said; okay we
will be there what time. In an hour please I responded.

The Holden's arrived first and the stage was set, all of the kids arrived
at the same time Beth walked in and was embarrassed when she saw that we
had company at the house and apologized for barging in without knocking
first.  Micah said; it was okay he introduced the kids and said; they were
just getting back from their honeymoon in the Bahamas. The kids said; hello
and it was nice to meet them.

David asked if he could introduce them to the family, first were the
parents then he introduced Kalen, then he took Tommie's hand and led him in
front of the kids and said I want to introduce you to their other son his
name is Tommie and he's my half-brother. Talk about shock and utter
amazement you could have heard a pin drop on the floor it so quiet. Beth
sputtered your half-brother and grabbed Tommie and hugged his neck and said
I've got another little brother in the family. Adam was more reserved and
extended his hand for Tommie so shake but when their hands met; he pulled
Tommie to him and hugged him. Makayla was next and she hugged his neck and
said; welcome Tommie. Galen was next and he walked up to Tommie and grabbed
him and lifted Tommie up off of the floor and said; hot damned another
little brother for me, we are the luckiest bunch of folks; so Kalen didn't
feel left out he reached over and picked him up also and said; young man we
are going to have the greatest time as brothers. David said; just let Galen
know if anyone is ever mean to you and he will knock them out cold. We all
laughed at his comment.

The Holden's were surprised at the reactions of the children; Ellen said
how you have done such an amazing job raising them to become such
understanding and accepting of others. Well said; Micah it's a full time
job and it takes a 100% total commitment by all of those involved, and I
couldn't do it with an understanding spouse like Clayton without him I
would be lost. The Holden's said their goodbye's and went home.

Micah asked the kids what the kids, what do you really think about this
latest development Beth what do you say; I love it and I believe that they
should be included in this family, Adam what do you say; I can't add
anything more to what Beth said, David; what about you; I would for my
brother and his family to be a part of the family, Galen any words on this
matter; what do we know about Tommie and why he wasn't with David when they
found him? David spoke up and said; don't blame him it wasn't his fault and
told them Tommie's story. Galen hugged David and said; if anyone touches
him again I'll take care of them. David responded I've already told him
that you would. I said; it's settled then there are 4 new family
members. As I stood by Micah he pulled me into his lap and kissed me in
front of the kids, Adam spoke and said; you two act like a couple of
teenagers in heat get a room, Micah responded; we will as soon as you get a
move on it and go to your own houses.

 A week later there was a knock at the door and Micah went to answer it, he
opened the door and there stood Tommie, oh hi Tommie, David isn't here at
this time. That's ok Mr. Micah I wanted to speak to you and Mr. Clayton
sir, Okay then come in and have a seat on the sofa then, as Tommie sat down
I asked him if he wanted something to drink. I would take some water if
there is any available he responded. I gave him a bottle of water and Micah
said; okay young man what's up. Tommie stuttered as he spoke; when did you
know that you were different. I said; isn't this something you would like
to talk to your parents about Tommie. They wouldn't know what to say other
than; are you sure, and I know what I feel my body desires. You are turning
16 in a few days, yes sir I am. Micah said; how do you know what your body
desires Tommie. It's like when I get near certain men and I catch his scent
I have the urge to rip off his clothes and have him make love to me then
and there. Tommie I said; you do know that this just maybe puberty and it
will all change next week and then every time you see a nice looking young

tone. Tommie responded Micah; you're almost 16 and you know who you are, it
took me until I was almost 37 years old to discover who I was in life said;
Micah you are so lucky. Tommie until I got a whiff of Clayton I had no idea
then all of the bells and whistles went off and I couldn't wait until we
made love, I'm still madly in love with him to this day he is my other
half. Mr. Clayton when did you know, Tommie; I knew when I was only 8. I
had a few failures in love but when I first saw Micah I knew he was for me.

It was 6 months later and I was at the house with Micah when Izaack called
and asked to speak to Micah I said; sure Izaack just a minute and handed
the phone to him, there was a frown on his face as he spoke to Izaack. He
hung up the phone and said; I'll be back in a few minutes and we will have
company for a little while and then he left.

Micah arrived at the warehouse to talk to Izaack, he walked to the rear
stock room and there stood Izaack with his arms crossed, sitting in a chair
was Tommie and another young man was sitting next to him. Micah walked up
to them and said; hello boys, Tommie mumbled a hello, the other young man
Daniel Anderson wouldn't look up but said; afternoon Elder Micah. Well what
happened here Izaack, Elder Micah when I found them; Tommie was performing
oral sex on young Daniel here. Micah growled at Tommie and said; how old
are boy. Tommie said; 16-1/2 sir. And Mr. Anderson how old are you young
man, 18 sir answered Daniel. Micah said; you two get in my truck and wait

walked away very fast, as soon as they were around the corner and out of
hearing range Izaack said; Mr. Micah it's a good thing someone else didn't
catch them, they were so involved they didn't hear me and I stood there for
10 minutes before I alerted them to my presence, if I had not; they would
have went all of the way right there in the open. Thank you Izaack; I'll
have a talk to them at the house with Clayton and get to a solution in this
matter.

It was a very quiet ride to the house I parked the truck and told them to
go to the house and wait for me on the sofa, one on each end. Yes sir the
both answered. Micah called Stephan and told him that Tommie was at his
house that he had been caught at the warehouse with Daniel Anderson acting
out, Stephan said; I understand Micah are you going to handle it or did he
need to come back from the city, I'll find out what caused this and take
the appropriate actions in the matter.

Micah entered the house and sat in his chair and asked; Tommie what
happened at the stockroom and why didn't he call someone before it did and
look at me when you speak. Tommie said; I was talking to Daniel, he works
there after class and his scent got to me and I couldn't help myself it was
driving me crazy and I dropped to my knees and unzipped his pants, he said
we shouldn't be doing it but I was so horny I wasn't going to take no for
an answer so I took him into my mouth and started to perform oral sex on

Daniel tell him the whole story of your life before you came here to live
and if he truly cares for you it won't matter to him. Tommie started his
story about him, his brother and little sister and what happened to them if
he never wanted to see him again he understood and he wouldn't blame him at
all. Daniel took Tommie into his arms and said; I could never walk away
from you, I love you too much for that.

 Micah asked; Daniel do your parents know about you and how you feel. No
sir Mr. Micah, mom is sick and doesn't remember who I am from day to day,
Dad stays away most of the time and he doesn't care for people who are
different, they stay out of his house and he's ok, but he won't have one
living there. I could never tell him, he told me that I was 18 and needed
to start looking for a place of my own his job was done. He's not a bad
man; he doesn't know how to handle mom's illness and is heartbroken.

 I spoke up and said; Daniel we can have someone come in and help with your
mom, since your 18 you can stay in the spare room until Tommie turns old
enough so you can be together but I will not put up with any funny business
in this household do you two understand.

I carried the two boys to the doctor and explained the situation to him,
you're getting to be an old hand in these matters aren't you Clayton said;
the Doctor. I answered watch out who you're calling old Ed, there's a lot
of snow gathering on your rooftop too. We laughed he ran the entire test
lot for STD's, HIV and hepatitis and said; I'll call you in a few days and
give you the results Clayton. Hey how are those three other young folk
doing these days? They are doing fine Ed they are taking life nice and slow
these days, no more rear end collisions. The Doctor handed them the
standard sex ed. Brochures and a few new videos that he had been sent
covering the subject and said; you know the elders might want to start
teaching the young folk about these kinds of things so there aren't more of
these kinds of things happening. The other day a creek sect family brought
in a 13 year old, she in a family way i couldn't find out whom the father
was, might have been one of their own. But if she doesn't get some help she
won't make it through the birth, she is about 6 months and just starting to
show.  He handed me a piece of paper with the information written on it and
said; you and Micah help this poor girl she's scared.

I called Micah and explained to him what was going on and asked him if he
could call the Elders together, someone had to help. I called Isla and told
her to have Zach at the house when I get back we needed to talk. Tommie
asked; why Mr. Clayton do you and Mr. Micah care about children so
much. Well Tommie someone has to watch over them and make sure they are
okay. Daniel said; I think is why you two were sent here and started the
Giving Community for the children.

There was a meeting to end all meeting that took place that day. Besides
the 13 year old girl there were five boys under 18 in the house and
possibly an even younger child there but no one had seen him, only heard
that he was touched. It was decided that the children would be brought here
to the giving community for assessments and medical intervention.

The creek sect Elders were not pleased with this matter and vowed that this
kind of thing would never happen there again, the sect would do anything
for the children but that knowing the nature of the events it was best for
the children to be removed and placed here. We arrived at the family farm
and the Creek Elders called the parents outside as they spoke the father
became enraged, the boys stood on the porch, the tallest boy whom was
blonde walked away and headed towards the barn Micah and I intercepted him
before he arrived, Micah asked him why was he headed to the barn and what
was his name. I'm Jonah and the little ones are kept out here locked up out
of sight. Jonah I asked; how many more are there? Four sir, there's Becka
who's been spoiled and in a family way per. Da, then there's the touched
one Seth, and the twins, they are ok but Marm is tired and put them out
here also per Da's orders. Micah said; so there's 9 of you children total
son, yes sir answered Jonah 9 total living and I'm the oldest, are you here
to help us sir because I can't handle it anymore as he broke down he said;
I can't bury another one of my brothers or sisters there's too much sadness
here, do we have to stay. Micah said; no son you will never have to see
this place again if you don't want to and the hugged the boy.

 The senior Elder heard Jonah's story and was appalled at what was said; he
responded none of you children will ever have to endure any more pain,
let's go inside and get the young ones.

Micah came out first with the twins in his arms; I came holding Becka's
hand, Joseph carried out Seth cradled in his arms. Micah and I met with the
other children and asked if there was anything they wanted or need out of
the house, Jonah said; they were wearing all they had nothing else
mattered.

 William the 15 year old said; burn it there too many bad memories there to
let it stand and another family live there. We headed to the van, as we got
in the van and buckled in their seat belts. The 10 year old Edward said;
look the bad place is not going to be there anymore as we pulled out of the
driveway the house and barn were totally engulfed in flames.

 These children were headed to a new life, I called Isla and let her know
we were coming home with a van full and they would need everything so
contact Beth and tell they will need clothes, shoes, socks, underwear and
diapers. Clayton did I hear you say diapers, yes Isla I said; diapers for a
three year old and a set of twins not quite 2 yet, so break out the soap
and welcoming committee because these children are hungry and they are
coming home.

 I called the Doctor and asked if he could meet us at our home, Ed said;
I'm on my way, you work very fast. What happened to the parents? They are
looking through the bars at this time Ed and will never be part of their
lives again. I told the children when we arrive, we were going to the
Children's Learning Center there our daughter Beth and her husband Galen
would meet us so you can get new clothes and bathe before everyone meets at
the meeting room. As we pulled up to the Center folks were everywhere, the
children got out of the van and people began to welcome them to the Giving
Community.

 We walked up to the center, Beth and Galen opened the double doors leading
inside. When Seth saw Beth he ran to her and hugged her, Jonah remarked
that he is always scared of everyone and never likes to touch any stranger
and many family members. Micah said; Jonah special children know who they
can trust in life, just like he knows he can trust you to protect him. He
knows so will Beth and Galen, we watched as he put his hand out to shake
Galen's hand he then climbed into his arms and gave him a kiss in the cheek
and hugged his neck.

One by one the doctor examined the children and sent them to bathe and get
clothes; he called Becka into the exam area and asked me, Micah and Isla to
come in and be witnesses for him. As he spoke to Becka he asked if she
would tell whom the father was to her children, she started to cry and
recount what happened to her. We were horrified; Isla broke down in tears
and told her not to worry about anything she could stay with her and Zach
as long as she wanted to. Becka asked; what about when I push the child out
who keep him from putting another in me. Micah said; Becka it is okay this
is the time for you to be a little girl no one will touch you there again
until you are all grown up and ready to marry your husband and decide you
are ready to start a family of your own. Isla said if you let us Zach and I
will raise it as our own so you can be a child again. Becka said; that
would be fine. Becka went to clean up and get her some new clothes.

Micah stood up and walked to the door and called Jonah in the room. Jonah
sat down and asked if everything was ok with Becka, the Doctor said; it
will be young man in time but we need to talk to you about her babies and
about who their father is. Jonah said; you don't think I did that to her do
you. Jonah calm down said; Micah, we know who it was that did that to
her. Micah; told Jonah that she was raped for the last 3 years by their
father until she became with child and she was to have his children as
quickly as he could put them in her, your mother knew all about it. She
said; that her seed was no longer any good so it was Becka's place to take
over and have your father's children for him. Jonah turned red in the face
with anger and clinched his fist and said; I'll kill the sorry bastard if I
get my hands on him.

Micah said; Jonah he will never see the outside on a prison for the rest of
his life and neither will your mother, so you children are safe here with
us and will have a forever home. Now go get ready for the meeting young
man.
