As we stood there laughing the doorbell rang, Tommie answered the door
Galen was standing there and asked if he could come in for a minute. He
spoke to Micah and said; Dad Beth sent me over here to tell she was ready
for you now sir. Good replied Micah and he got up and walked over to Erwin
and Tommie and told them to follow him then he turned to the rest of us
standing there and remarked that we might as well follow him to.

We walked out of the front door and headed toward a little cabin that was
off to the left of ours used as a storage area for house renovations. The
front light was on which was strange because I never remembered it working
before, Micah told Erwin and Tommie to go inside as Erwin opened the door I
could see Beth standing in the middle of the room smiling. Erwin walked
into the cabin and remarked Holy Crap; Tommie rushed inside to see what was
wrong. We all entered the cabin and were amazed at what it looked like
inside, How did this happen and who did it. Stephan said; it wasn't us and
we've all been busy all day in town. Galen stood by Beth and said; we were
only his orders and pointed to Micah. Erwin and Tommie both attacked Micah
and hugged and thanked him for everything, Micah said; I was just following
the boss's orders, because I didn't like the thought of sleeping in a dog
house until Hell froze over. He pointed to me and grinned and said; happy
spouse happy life; Unhappy spouse no life at all. The boys hugged me and
thanked me for all that was done. The Holden's said; how did you do this
and why? As Stephan said; he wasn't a rich man but he had good friends who
would make sure his son and new son-in-law wouldn't have to sleep on the
floor, so I made sure his promise came true for these two fine young
men. And I had my secret weapon to help me out she is a great foreman, I'm
so proud on our daughter and great son in law.

The boys looked at everything in the cabin, all of the necessities for
starting out were there, they even went to Erwin's family, Galen convinced
them to help him out by giving him all of Erwin's belongings, or people
from everywhere find out they weren't so understanding of others who are
different.

Erwin and Tommie sat down on the small settee and held onto each other and
cried. Galen said; Erwin you going to be ready to work on Monday; he
responded yes sir, but I would like to go to work with you tomorrow so I
can see how it works at the farm sir. Be on the front steps at 7:00 am and
I'll pick you up here. Erwin said; you mean I get to stay here as of now?
Galen remarked well all of your clothes are here already where else would
you stay at.

Ellen said; Tommie, be at the house by 8:00 pm and not any later it's a
school night. Micah spoke; we all need to leave and let these young ones
have a little time to themselves. David popped off; remember Erwin he isn't
legal for another month, don't make me call the law on you two.

 Micah grabbed up David tucked him under his arm and said; it's time you
had a bath and headed to your bed before your mouth overloads your butt and
headed out the door. I remarked he is his Daddy's son that's for sure a
little carbon copy. And we all left the boys alone at their cabin.

As Micah walked to the house with David he said; what am I going to do with
you boy. David responded; not much you can do with me but just love me,
because until in 18 you are stuck with me Daddy. Micah and everyone within
earshot laughed at the little mini-me.

 The boys were bathed and in bed when Daniel and Jonah walked in the door
and headed to their room when Micah said; you two have a seat on the sofa
so we can talk for a minute. The boys sat down and waited, Micah started
out with, I know that you two will graduate school on Friday and will start
your lives together and start planning for the future. First you have to
think about your living arrangements then jobs and what your future will be
concerning a family. I not saying that you have to move out but if you want
to we'll understand, you will have to petition the council for a
cabin/house when one is available.

 Daniel you will report to Izaack and learn your new job in
warehouse/distribution, now that leaves just Jonah and that is where
Clayton comes in. I spoke up; Isla is retiring and Jonah you will take her
job and report to Makayla. Do either one of you have a problem with these
arrangements. Both boys said; not at all, they were honored to have the
chance in life that this would afford them, Daniel asked if we would agreed
to it they would like to stay where they are at now and not have to move
out.

Micah said; on one condition though, with your first paychecks you two
purchase a new queen size bed with double pillow top mattress, because the
other one is driving David crazy due to the noise it makes. Both boys
turned red-faced and said; yes sir we will. The boys didn't know when they
were at their jobs tomorrow, I was having a new bed delivered as a
surprise, because like David said; it was noisy as heck and was giving me a
headache at 2:30am when they thought it was safe to make wild passionate

The boys hugged our necks and went to their room for the night. I reminded
them to set their alarm clocks for 6:00am so they could be ready for work
at 7:00am sharp.

The boys were off to work and the younger ones left for school, Erwin was
waiting for Galen bright and early. The delivery of the new bed room
furniture was scheduled for 10:00 am. When the drivers arrived I had
cleaned out all of the drawers from the old mismatched dressers. They
removed the old beds and pieces of furniture. The young delivery men
committed on the furniture and how nice it was, they brought in the triple
dresser, chest, 2 night stands and the hand carved four poster bed and set
it all up. I thanked them and gave then a generous tip for their hard
work. Beth showed up with Seth and helped me make up the bed, I went to the
hall closet and removed a special bag I had hid there and handed it to Beth
and said; this will make it complete. Beth opened the bag which contained a
handmade quilt in the rings pattern, embroidered on the pillow shams were
Daniel and Jonah's names, to let them know they were meant to be together
forever. Beth remarked that you think of everything Poppa this is so sweet
for them. I replied; I wish I could take credit for this Beth, but this was
your Daddy's deal he had this made for the boys saying that when they share
this for the first time and have dreams while sleeping under it they will
be joined together forever as one just like You and Galen were when he had
yours made.

 Beth said; my Daddy is one of the three greatest men in my life, then
there's you Poppa and my handsome husband Galen. I am so blessed to have
the people that love me. Then God saw fit to bring Seth into my life and
now I'm a mom. And the very best Mom there is my beautiful daughter and we
hugged. We placed a big red bow on the boy's bedroom door and closed it.

 Now I said; who wants Ice cream, Seth held up his hand and said; me, me,
me and ran to me and gave me a big hug. Micah walked in the front door, he
said; who is giving away all of my hugs. Seth ran to him and hollered out
Grandpa for the first time and Micah melted in his tracks he went to his
knees hugging Seth and said what's my big boy up to, Seth hollered out ice
cream and pointed at me.

Well then we had better wash up and have us a bowl of it then, Seth ran
toward the bathroom to wash his hands. Micah stopped long enough to kiss me
and Beth and said; I love both of you so much I hope you know that. Beth
responded you know we do Daddy.

We were sitting eating when David and Robert arrived home from school;
Robert asked; is enough for us to have some also. Go wash up I said; and
come to the table boys. David and Robert were eating ice cream when Robert
asked; what's up with the bow on the door. Micah said; it's a surprise so
no more question boy's, eat your ice cream before Jonah and Daniel show up
and try to take it away from you because you got the last of it.

Daniel and Jonah walked into the house and walked to the table where the
boys were finishing up their ice cream. Jonah asked; did you save any for
us. Robert said; nope you're too late today better luck next time
guys. Daniel said; that's okay with me I just want a shower and to rest for
a while when he turned around he noticed the big red bow on their door. He
nudged Jonah and said look at that pointing towards the bedroom door. As
they opened the door and walked in they didn't say a word they looked
around and Daniel asked why did you do this I thought we had to buy it with
our first paychecks to show you that we were responsible . Micah spoke up
and said; when you two agreed to the conditions and said; that you would
purchase it that proved to us that you were serious about you relationship,
did you think Poppa was going to make you buy something that wouldn't last
the test of time.

David said; they sure are going to test that nice bed out tonight too. To
which Robert popped off saying; if they make this bed squeak like they did
the old one, Jonah better tell Daniel to slow down and take it easier on
him or he is going to wear it out. Micah cleared his throat and said; why
don't you two young men go to your room and clean it up, you left it dirty
this morning. David and Robert went to their room without a word said.

 No sooner than they were in their room Micah started to laugh so hard he
had to sit down, poor Daniel and Jonah were left standing red-faced once
again because of two 11 year old boys being little brothers making their
older brothers life hell.

Later that night I couldn't sleep and was sitting at the table in the dark
when Jonah walked to the fridge and opened up the freezer and took out a
flexible ice pack and closed the door, I scared him shitless when I spoke
to him, it will get better you know. Jonah dropped the ice pack on the
floor and said; poppa I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I interrupted him and
said; let anyone find out you were having problems in the sex department,
really Jonah why. I'm embarrassed about it poppa that's why. Have a seat
Jonah and let's talk about it. Poppa I love Daniel and he loves me and he's
very gentle with me and is as easy as he can be when we make love, but when
does it get easier and not hurt so much.
