 Danis said; yes dad I do and just to calm your nerves he is a very good
guy and he is kind to her, he would never touch her before they are
joined. She's the firecracker in the relationship, she approached him and
told him what was going to happen in his future and he said; yes dear,
whatever you want dear. He's just putty in her hands.

  Rob looked at his son and asked; is he a strong man when it comes to
protecting her from harm son? Yes dad he's a very strong young man and I
wouldn't want to make him mad ever, he could really hurt another man if he
hit them in anger, so she's safe.

 Tell me son does he have a home and strong family ties.

Regrettable dad his family has abandoned him and he came to live here and
he lives with a friend but he works hard and saves every dime he makes. I
don't want to tell you too much but she's very much in love with him and he
cares for her also.

   Joe who had been silent throughout the entire conversation said; if he
meets Danis's approval then he's good enough for me, I know how strong
willed our daughter is she gets it from her dad. Rob blushed at Joe's
words; he had always told his daughter that she could do anything and
choose any man she wanted to be joined with as long as he treated her with
respect and honor and she had chosen one.

   Joe's phone rang; it was Galen he was stopping by he needed our help in
a matter. Joe looked at Rob and said; it looks like Galen may have a
surprise for us after all. Rob responded you mean we're still on the list?
Yes Rob we have never been off of it, but it was only to be a very hard
luck case.

  The doorbell rang and Rob answered it, there stood Galen and in front of
his stood two little boys, I could tell that they were of mixed
races. Their father was a blonde haired Mennonite and their mother was from
Honduras. Rob asked Galen and the boys to enter the house, the boys entered
and Galen picked up two infant carriers and entered also. Galen started out
and said; I need your help with these 4 children so that they stay
together, let me introduce to you Dakota he's 4 and the oldest, next
there's Mason he's turning 3 tomorrow and last but not least these two
little darlings, try are 3 day old twin girls and they are un-named as of
yet. I thought you could do that as a family together.

  Rob asked; where's their parents at Galen? Dakota took the lead on that
subject and answered; Momma went to heaven when she had the girls and our
daddy that no good son of a bitch left us here when he couldn't beat these
two out of momma's belly like he did the others before them, so I hope that
boat he took across the ocean sinks and takes his sorry no good ass with
it.

Rob couldn't get mad at the young boy for his mouth at 4 he was only saying
what was in his heart, Rob asked the boy to come to him where he
sat. Dakota approached Rob and started to unfasten his pants and was
getting ready to lower them when Rob asked him what he was doing. Dakota

  Joe had the girls in his arms and was showering them with love and kisses
when Liza Anne walked in and said; where did these babies come from? Joe
looked at our daughter and said; where all babies do daughter, from Heaven
as a gift.

  What are their names, Dakota popped off Momma died before she was able to
give them proper names so we have to do it now and we will need your help
too sissy. The doorbell rang and Danis opened it and there stood Gunner. He
came inside and had a seat and was talking about the children when Mason
crawled up in his lap and wrapped himself around the big guy, he was
hanging on for dear life. Dakota said; don't take it the wrong way, your
hair makes him think of our old daddy, his was the same color and he still
misses him no matter how bad he beat him.

  Gunner said; if he ever comes here and tries to touch either of you boys
or the girls I'll beat him. Mason kissed Gunners cheek and said; thank you,
it was the first words that he had spoken since his momma died. Galen said;
if you two agree and everything okay we need to sign some paperwork for
foster care. Rob said; to Hell with foster care these 4 are staying as part
of the family now, so you better have adoption papers in your briefcase
Galen.

  Galen smiles and said; I kind of figured that so I had both just in case
that came up but we will still have to see the magistrate to make it
formal. Rob said; just name the date and we all will be there in our best
clothes. Dakota said; these are our only clothes we have. Joe said; looks
like we are headed to the Tangs store for new clothes and shoes for the
boys and then over to Andr?'s and Annabelle's for the girls for new dresses
for the event.

  Rob popped off so much for a savings account, Dakota responded we can do
with some hand-me downs we don't have to have anything new or fancy. Gunner
spoke up and said; young man you and your siblings do deserve the very
best, you will be Gunderson's now and that name means something around
these parts, be proud of who you will be.

  Rob looked at Gunner and said; I couldn't have said it better son or
should I say my future son-in-law. Gunner turned red faced as did Liza
Anne, this fact didn't go un-noticed by Rob but it confused him just the
same why would Liza Anne turn red since they all knew about Gunner's
feelings for Danis for years. Then it hit him she was in love with Gunner
the same young man that loved her brother. He was going to have to sit down
and talk with these three young people soon but for now his attention
needed to be on these young children that had just came into their lives.

  Rob said; we need to sit down at the table and choose names for the
girls, they all went to the dining table and sat down, Dakota spoke first;
I would like one of the girls to carry my momma's name Marie as her middle
name out of honor if it was ok since we boys have no middle names it was
forbidden by our old daddy.

  Joe said; that will not do at all everyone must have middle names in this
family. Mason asked; what our middle names were, we all told him ours and
he giggled when Gunner said his name, Gunner Bartholomew Stroud. Dakota
popped off I know what my middle name will be, it's Earl like my new Dad,
and Mason hollered out Gunner like my new friend here and hugged his neck
again. Liza Anne asked if she could name one of the girls Josephine Marie
Gunderson we all decided it was a strong name. Rob said; well then that
leaves little Abbigail needing a middle name any ideas on what it should
be? Danis responded; it should be Hope because she will give us hope for
the future. Joe said; that's wasn't hard at all, it's Abbigail Hope
Gunderson.

 The next day Dakota Earl, Mason Gunner, Josephine Marie and Abbigail Hope
became Gunderson's for life. Life was once again great in the Giving
Community.
