Well were I used to live was an apartment building. It's a new building so 
most of the people in there were either new to the area or new to the city. So 

no one hand the upper hand of being the old tenant or anything like that, we

Tom (part three) Numbers

This is another story in my true adventures with Tom. So enjoy .

On arriving back at the apartment building. I pushed the button for the

again.  So I made my way to one of the two stairways that lead up the side
of the apartment block. These stairways where in their own enclosed area

then. As at the top of these stairs was a extra flight that lead to the

with each other it involved use writing down what we want on a piece of
paper and then on some more paper we would write down some numbers. You'll

some number and put them in one pile. Then some things to do in another
pile. The thing about this game. If you put something down you could wind
up doing it yourself. So you had to be careful in what you put down etc.the
same went for the numbers.

It's up to you. And with that Tom drew out the first slip of paper from the
action pile. And on it had the words up's and downs. This was a thing we
both had named as we didn't know all the proper names for things. Then I
drew out the number,ber . It said 35. So since Tom had Took the action
slip. It was up to me to do the action. And the number of times that I had
draw from the numbers pile.So I was to do 35 up's and down's on Tom.

Well I was off with the cold one day. And had a runny nose,it wasn't a bad

Tom (part five) The trip

Well since it was Friday. And I usually go away at the weekends to go back
packing. I had asked Tom if he fancied coming along on this trip. He of
course was happy to do so. As I load up the car, I heard a voice from the
garage elevator,..Oh hi there.  it was Tom. He was standing there is his
white t- shirt and blue jeans. Hi is that your stuff as I grabbed his back
pack, and put it into the trunk of the car. He said yes. and walked over to
the passenger side of the car and I opened my door and then reached over

and smiled. He said.  I've really been looking forward to this. I've never
been anywhere like this on my own before. I said. Well don't worry I will

And with that I started up the car and we drove out of the car park to the
busy hi way, As everyone was either heading home or away for the weekend.
As we traveled further north. We just took in all the scenery as it went
by. As we had traveled about one hundred and fifty miles now. We where on a
old dirt track that was just filled with trees and the odd cabin now and
again. It had been about twenty minutes since we last saw a car. I said
well not far to go now.  Then after about a further five minutes we came by
a old trail. that was still visible. But just. I pulled the car onto the

keys to the car near by, and off we went. I had done this trail many times
on my own. And it was Tom's first time camping of any sort.  You could tell

As we walked along, Tom said this is great I've always wanted to do
this.And I pointed out to him all the different signs of wildlife and
things he could eat and not eat. After about an hour we came to a small
river /stream. I said it's just a few more yards down here , That's where
we're going to stop tonight. And
 we walk and talked all the way.  As we came to a small clearing. I said
well this is it. And took off my backpack, and put it on the ground. And
began to open it and take all my stuff out. And tom started to do the
same. As I put up the pup tent, and un ravel my sleeping bag.I told tom to
go and collect some fire wood. So we could get a
 fire going. so we could make some dinner and started to unwind. After I
had
 got most of the stuff done, like put the tent up and put the sleeping
bag's in the tent and build a small round fire place. Tom came back with
some wood. I
 looked at him and gave out a small laugh.. I said you've a lot to learn.
He looked abit puzzled and said why..? Well I said most of the wood you
brought is green. He said not it's not, look. I said well it's not green in
color maybe .  But it's green in as much when you burn it , It will smoke
like hell and isn't good for cooking with etc. But well keep it for
later. And I said. Come with me I'll show which wood is good and which wood
is green. As we walked along in the woods. I pointed out to Tom some of the
green trees. And showed him which where best for using as fire wood.  It
wasn't long before we had enough and head back to the camp site.  Well we
started to light the camp fire and I took out some supplies I had brought
for use to eat. And started to cook away. Before long the food was ready
and we got stuck into it. And night was swiftly coming in. The fire burned
with a bright orangery yellow glow. As I had brought some marsh mellows
with me. I said to tom get some long thin stick. So we can roast these
mellow's and Tom got two stick's and we started to roasting them and just
chatted about everything and anything under the sun. I said after many
hours of chat etc. Well I think it's time we got to bed as i've got a great
place we can hike to tomorrow. And with that we retreated to our sleeping
bags. As we entered the pup tent. I heard a small tut from Tom. I said
what's wrong. He said, I though we where going to share our sleeping

I unzipped the sleeping bags and the re-zipped them into one.So it was a
double sleeping bag as one. As we crawled in we both took off our
clothes. We where both naked and just climbed in together. Since we both
had see each other naked before and done various things together. It didn't
bother us in the slightest. As I lied there, I could see Tom wanted to get
closer. And he just smiled at me. So I said O.K. Then and with that he
moved closer to me, With his head on my chest and moved his hand over my
waist. It wasn't long before we fell asleep. As the fresh air and the short
walk had tired us both out.

On awakening, I had the usual morning boner. And a split second later Tom

a great day.  The sun was out, and because of the trees it was like a beam
of light shooting trough the tree's as if it was some lazar show. We walked
and talked for about another hour or so. Then as we approached the site I
had in mind. Tom saw the lake. It was crystal clear and a greenie blue. I
told Tom, It isn't far now. just a few more minutes. After about another
ten to fifteen minutes. We came to the place I had in mind. It was a part
of the lake that had it's own small lake in it. It was like a bay
area. Surrounded by trees and wasn't too deep to swim in and was just
generally a good place. As we stopped , and took off our backpack's . Tom
said he wanted to put up the tent. So I said sure. And left him to it. And
said. I'll go get some fire wood, and see if I can find anything else we
might use. On my return Tom was still trying to put up the tent. He had
done a good job for a first time attempt. But had just not quite got it
right. So I showed him what he did wrong and it was soon put right.  We
build a fire surround and started a small camp fire. We had unpack most of
the things, and opened the sleeping bags to air. And so we started to cook
some lunch. After we had lunch.  I said well how about dessert. Tom said
Dessert..? Yes I said. And with that I showed Tom the Wild Raspberries I
had picked. So we had raspberries for dessert.

It was great just being there with no sounds except for the odd bird or
splash from the lake , from the fish jumping. We just flaked out on the
sleeping bags and just lied ther for ages without saying anything just
listing and relaxing without a care in the world. After about an hour tom
said shall we go for a swim. So I said sure. And with that we both took off
our clothes and ran to the water and jumped in. As we played about in the
