Previously

Timothy noticed that Jeremy, William and Heather were all sitting together
chatting away like good friends. Jeremy's meeting with them must have gone
well. He would find out later. Timothy talked to Kenneth for a while and
then challenged his guy to a game of pool. They were both overjoyed with
the week and all that they had accomplished. Not every week would be as
exciting but they both agreed to enjoy it.

They ended up at the club with excited explanations of their week to Tom
and Eric. They danced several slow danced holding each other closely. At
that moment, there was no one else in the club, just them holding each
other feeling the heat of their partner's body moving to the sensuous beat
of the music. Magic.

They finally separated. They looked at each other with intense looks. As
they turned to go to their table. Jeremy chuckled looking over to the far
side of the dance floor. "Looks as if Philipo and I were correct; it turned
out to be more than some food and a drink."

Timothy followed Jeremy's line of sight. There was Jason and John dancing
almost standing still, tightly together, kissing each other in what
appeared to be a very sensual kiss.

Timothy whispered, "I am so happy for them. John is a great guy and I am so
glad that he has found what I have found." He turned and pulled his guy to
him and gave Jeremy the same kiss.

Jeremy smiled. "They remind me of us just a few minutes ago. Time to go."
He pulled Timothy even tighter and both could feel the others growing
reaction. It was going to be an interesting finish to an incredible week.

Present

Jeremy had changed his phrase from the night before at the club. After they
left the club, it was an incredible finish to an interesting week.

They had a lot of fun looking at induction stoves. Timothy might give that
up for a gas fireplace. However, it was the rugs that totally grabbed their
attention. They went to one of the best oriental rug shops in the
city. They learned a huge amount about knot count, textures, materials
used, dyes, styles and the types of rugs from different countries. They
were given some pamphlets and the names of reference books that they could
buy or take out of the Library.

They lost their game, one of their few defeats of the season. Jeremy
wondered if he and Timothy had been off somewhere else, distracted by the
week. They had a wonderful lunch with Momma and Pops on Sunday and then
supper at the Malenfant's where they caught the entire family up with the
week's events.

The weekend had flown by and suddenly they were both leaving for work on
Monday. If all the papers were signed in the next few days, they would take
possession of the house on the last Monday in October. The bank had
insisted that an independent home assessment was done by a company of the
bank's choosing as the house was being used as collateral for the
mortgage. That was scheduled for later in the week.

Now they had to start to check all the arrangements for Thanksgiving. They
had previously established who was staying at the chalet and they had
reserved a room for Gio and Kevin in a good motel close to the chalet. Tony
and family were celebrating Thanksgiving with his wife's family this
year. It was still going to be a large group for Thanksgiving dinner on the
Sunday, for the weekend actually.

Both guys were happy that Momma, Pops, Jamie and Philipo were staying with
them at the chalet along with the Malenfants, MC, Pierre and Luc.. Timothy
and Jeremy were sleeping in the living room or the front porch on air
mattresses; that brought back exciting memories of their night in the tent
on July 1.

They would have to make yet more lists about food, DVDs and some games to
play together.

Jeremy was full of energy as he entered his office. The case that he had
was interesting. Jeremy had suggested to William that they work in his
office and he warned William about his chaos. As the morning progressed,
William warmed to Jeremy's methods. By the end of the day, the guys were
often on their knees looking for and rearranging documents. William was
impressed by Jeremy's daily log. They had made some progress on the case
and on their relationship.

Timothy worked hard and between clients, he had finished the material that
he had put together and had made an appointment to see the partner,
Mr. Rushworth, who had first offered him his present job. He wanted to
alert him to what he was going to do and run his handouts by him. Timothy
saw the little smile on his face as he explained and then the look as he
reviewed his material. Mr. Rushworth had no problems with it. He commented
that there would be some dissent but that Timothy should answer the
questions and put it in the context of why his department was trying to do
this. Keep it simple was his suggestion.

The day passed quickly for him. He was finishing off after his last client
when he realized that John was at his door.

"Boss, could I have word with you?"

With a big smile, Timothy told him to come in. Timothy was surprised when
John shut the door.

"Hope this isn't bad news?"

"No nothing like that. Can I talk about something really personal?'

Timothy nodded yes. "You look a little upset. Problems?"

"No not really. It is about Jason and me. There is no problem between us
but ...."

"Can I guess?" John shrugged his shoulders. "It is getting close to
Thanksgiving and you and Jason want to celebrate it together. However, your
family doesn't know about you and Jason and you are expected at your
parents' home for Thanksgiving." John simply nodded yes. Timothy smiled. "I
have been there, July 1st."

"I am not sure what to do. I think that my father in particular will be
very upset."

Timothy sat quietly contemplating what to say. "This is your first gay
relationship. Are you certain that you are gay or is it just Jason?"

"Does it make a difference?"

Again thoughtful, "Hypothetical. If Jason were to come to you and say that
he was leaving you, what would you do?" Timothy held up his hand to stop
the reply. "You would be devastated but eventually, would you go out and
look for another guy or would you look for a woman to take his place? My
question is, are you gay, are you bisexual or is it just Jason? Depending
on the answer, do you want to out yourself to your parents?"

"Boss, I can see why you are good in court. I never thought of it like
that."

"I would also suggest that breaking news like this on a holiday is not the
best idea. You could try my unsuccessful attempt." He outlined it to him.

"Oh you mean a friend who can't make it back to his parents and I want him
to have somewhere to go on Thanksgiving."

"Right but I'll remind you again that that didn't work for me but it was a
day and a night at the chalet for us. In addition, there were rumours about
Jeremy's orientation and we slept in a tent together. But, this is just an
afternoon and supper for you here in the city. If you decide that you are
gay, then you will have to make a decision about telling your folks. After
Thanksgiving. You had better coordinate your stories, why he can't make it
back to his parents, where you met. How close are you, a good friend or a
passing acquaintance?"

"Boss, you really are thoughtful. Remind me. What made you decide?"

"I had known for years that I was gay and I was not a virgin." He
chuckled. "I fell for Jeremy and then I decided that it was time, no matter
what happened between him and me. I had placed high in my law class. I had
a position with one of the best law firms in town. I had been working for a
number of years and I had saved a lot of money and invested it well. Jeremy
wanted to share my entire life. I had been accepted by his family with open
arms. Yes, for me it was time. So July 2, after the big party at the
chalet."

"Thanks Boss. We could go to his parents but that would raise questions for
me at home. I'll talk it over with Jason. Oh by the way, I might be
interested in having a court case. It has always been an interest for me."

John reached over and shook Timothy's hand. When he had left, Timothy
breathed a sigh of satisfaction. John had finally opened up to him. Again
he would not raise the topic; John would have to take the lead on
that. Interested in a court case. Even more interesting.

At home, they reviewed their day and were certain that all the papers for
the house sale were where they should be. They were now waiting for the
last item to be approved, a house appraisal and the bank accepting them for
a mortgage.

They had a quiet night and were ready for the practice the next
evening. The practice went very well as all the guys were raring to win the
next game after the poor showing on Saturday. Jeremy could feel that their
focus was back.

Timothy was in early to work on Wednesday preparing himself for the meeting
at 10. He did have client from 8:30 to 9:30 and it went well. He arrived at
the meeting rather nervous. This was his first presentation to the group
for his department. Those two words still shocked him sometimes, his
department. He decided that he would treat it as a court case. He would
give a short introduction, hand out some of his print outs, his
evidence. and then prepare for the cross examination. Only the difference
was that he was the one in the witness box.

Finally his agenda item came up. "Ladies and gentleman, when I was asked to
take this job, I was told that we would like to build my department and we
would like in particular to increase the number of French speaking
clients. My team, the head of IT and myself have worked on these proposed
changes to our web site in an effort to increase our French speaking, same
sex clients. It is not the only approach but it is a place to start."

He handed out the print out of the proposed web site and their page after
one clicked on the LGBT link. He gave them time to look at it. He could see
a trace of a smile on Mr. Rushworth's face who also mouthed 'a good
presentation' to him.

One of the older partners indicated that he wanted to speak. "I don't see
why we should highlight just one department like this. Why are we trying to
cater to the French speaking community?" He sounded a bit grumpy.

"Point taken sir. First the same sex community is relatively small but
because we are basically known as an English based firm, it makes the size
of the community that we service that much smaller. This firm has
specialized in same sex law for years now and my proposal is meant to widen
the number who we can potentially serve. We do have an expertise
here. Luckily, all my department can speak French so there is no problem
there."

He looked at all the faces around the table. The IT head spoke up. "I feel
that Mr. Malenfant has done an exceptionally good modification of our web
site. If anyone else is interested, I have ideas on how we can change it
for the firm. I have been thinking for a while that our site needs an
update and this may be the first move."

"What about the cost?"

Timothy, too himself, thank you Mr. Rushworth. To the meeting, "I have
figures here that would indicate the cost if we look strictly at the time
and effort to accomplish this." When they all looked at his next sheet with
his estimates, he was certain that he saw a smile on the Chairs' face.

The IT Head spoke up. "These costs would be the cost if we put the proposal
out as a contract but I see this as part of my day to day job to support
efforts to attract more clients." Turning to Timothy, "Mr. Malenfant, I
suspect that your clients may have a fair amount of disposable income. They
would be excellent people to have as clients."

He didn't have a definitive answer for that so he was not going to make one
up. "It would appear to be so but unfortunately, I have no figures to prove
or disprove that one way or another."

The Chair spoke up. "Mr. Malenfant, thank you for the very detailed
documentation and for keeping your presentation short. If there are no more
comments, I would submit this to a vote." It was unanimous except for the
grumpy partner who abstained. His first presentation was approved.

As they left the meeting the Chair approached him. "Timothy, it appears
that we made the right choice for Head of your department. One of the best
proposal that we have had before us. Very well done."

With a bit of smile. "There may be more coming sir but that is for another
day and I shall talk to you first before I present my next proposal."

"Always sooner than later if you can."

He entered the office. To Mme. Chenier, "We did it. When John and Andrew
are finished would you let them know that I want to see them for a minute
before they leave for lunch."

"Guys, we did it. Our presentation was accepted. The IT head feels that he
can have it up and running by mid next week. Well done gentlemen." The guys
looked pleased.

The mortgage was approved on Friday and they were the owners of a
house. Each were a little shell shocked, in a good way. John had quietly
told Timothy at the pub after work on Friday that he had invited Jason to
his house for Thanksgiving. They kept the story simple and it did help that
Jason's parents lived some distance from the city. They all celebrated big
time on Friday night.

It was obvious to all how close Jason and John had become and Jason was now
accepted as part of the group. They spent quite a while at their table
talking to Tom and Eric before they went back to the table of Jason's
friends. Timothy would place a bet that John's father was in for a
surprising talk with his son shortly after Thanksgiving.

Both guys were surprised how fast the weeks before Thanksgiving
went. Jeremy and William finished their case. William was showing a new
confidence and acceptance in the office. Jeremy made certain that Heather
and William had a case to work together. David had joked that he would soon
be out of a job if Jeremy kept organizing his staff for him.

Timothy started the task of renewing and possibly renovating the
office. He sat down with Mme. Chenier, Andrew and John to discuss two
plans. He said that he would go down and discuss it with Head of Planning,
Louise Mitchell, to get an idea of what was possible. He then planned a
meeting with her and his staff. He wanted them all to take ownership. They
had really worked well on the web site issue. His idea was both the
addition of a small conference room and the updating of the furniture, the
replacement of the ugly carpets and painting the office in more attractive
colours. Already at their first meeting, they had thrown out all sorts of
interesting ideas.

All the papers and arrangements were made for the house and it was now just
a time for waiting and planning. They had sat down with Pops and set up
some meetings after Thanksgiving with a company that would help them plan
their renovation. In particular, both guys were interested in what could be
done with the kitchen and an ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom. They
had already decided not to put on an addition but they did want a back
deck.

As if by magic, it was the Friday before Thanksgiving and the guys were
loading the car with what seemed like a mountain of food and stuff. Timothy
had been really touched by his father. They had been over for a dinner and
his father had asked when they planned on going up to the Chalet. They said
Friday to open it and get ready for the next day. His father had asked if
they minded if he and Timothy's mother could come up Friday as well. When
asked why they want to come up then, his father had said that he wanted
some time with his son and Jeremy. He was missing seeing them and he and
his mother just wanted some time with them alone before the gang
arrived. As Timothy said to Jeremy later, that that request had almost
brought him to tears. His mother had told them not to bring any food on
Friday as there would be some there when they arrived. Again both guys were
touched.

When they finally arrived, the chalet was shining brightly in the late
evening dusk. The place was open and the lights were on and welcoming. His
mother had made one of Timothy's favourite things, her chicken pot
pie. There was a lovely Canadian Riesling to go with it. What a wonderful
way to start this special weekend.

They spent a great evening over supper and wine. They had unloaded the car
and the turkey was in the refrigerator along with all the other
supplies. They were sleeping in their bedroom which would be given over to
Momma and Pops the next nights.

When they finally went to bed, Jeremy suspected that sleep would be the
last thing on Timothy's mind. There had been several rather not so innocent
touches and looks at various times during the evening. Jeremy could tell
that his guy wanted him badly. He wasn't sure how it would go but it would
be quiet but intense.

He was correct. They entered the room and Timothy had turned on the bedside
table lamp and closed the door. Jeremy found himself pushed up against the
door and then being kissed very passionately.

"I never dreamed that my father would take you on as his second son. You
two get on so well and mother simply adores you."

"Ah, what can I say. They see the real me."

"Yeah, if they could see you now, they might change their minds." Timothy
pushed himself off Jeremy enough to scan his body. "Yeah, your pants are
tented. You are such a turn on ... and to me, you look good enough to eat."

With that, Timothy was very soon on his knees with Jeremy's pants and
shorts around his ankles and Timothy was discovering yet again that Jeremy
was indeed very good to eat. Timothy looked up and could see that Jeremy's
eyes were closed and he had look of total pleasure on his face. That
changed to a quiet groan when Timothy pulled the hair on his legs.

Whispering, Jeremy, "I don't know how you do this to me."

With a saucy smile, "You are just so easy. There are days when I think that
a breeze can get you in this condition but luckily yet again, Dr. Malenfant
has a cure for it."

Timothy stood up and pulled Jeremy by his inflamed member to the side of
the bed. Timothy took off Jeremy's shirt and t shirt. What a magnificent
sight!

Jeremy slowly undressed his guy. "I think that you are permanently ready."

"Only for you."

It was intense but quiet. In fact, they ended up facing each other using
only their hands with lots of lube. Each was watching the others face to
time the ending together and minutes later Jeremy shot a huge first shot
onto Timothy who quickly took over from Jeremy's hand and they finished
close together. It was a great end to a really good day.

There was no repeat the next morning. There was just too much to do. They
were having coffee and cereal when Mrs. M came into the kitchen with Mr. M
not far behind. Timothy had outlined the work ahead of them and who would
be doing what. His first task was to start the stuffing. He had decided to
put all the dry ingredients together and then saute all the onions, celery,
garlic and sausages. They were all put in separate bags and put in the
refrigerator. One less job for the next day. He had found a really
interesting recipe which he had printed out.

Around 11:30 people started to arrive. Lunch had been given to Jamie and
Philipo to organize. They arrived together in Philipo's SUV with Momma and
Pops. Timothy ran out with Jeremy following to greet them.

Momma got out of the SUV and looked around almost in shock. She looked at
Timothy. "This is beautiful. I had no idea. What a wonderful idea my two
young men had.

She reached out and grabbed hold of Timothy and hugged him hard with
kisses. Then it was Jeremy's turn.

Then it was Pops. "I want a full tour. This is a wonderful spot on a
wonderful day. We are blessed." Big man hugs to his young men.

Jamie looked at the two. "Guys, I had no idea how beautiful the place
was. We get to stay here until Monday? We may never want to move back to
the city."

Philipo just gave them a shake of the head and a smile and an even bigger
hug than Jamie had given.

There were more effusive thanks when they went into the chalet to be
welcomed by the Malenfants. Soon they were taken to their rooms and Jamie
and Philipo were out in the kitchen ready to get lunch together. Momma was
right with them. Timothy gave her, Philipo and Jamie a tour of the kitchen
and the pantry. Jamie and Momma were in their element, in the kitchen,
Jamie in charge with Momma and Philipo helping.

They heard a car approaching. MC, Pierre and Luc. Jeremy was the first
out. More hugs and handshakes. Within an instant, Luc was in Jeremy's arms
with Jeremy talking to him French. Jeremy took him quickly into the kitchen
where he became the centre of attention and then Jeremy carefully went down
to the lake with Luc while everything was sorted. Timothy had a broad smile
on his face as he watched Jeremy and Luc throwing small stones in the
water. He could hear Luc's giggles of joy.

Lunch was that wonderful total chaos of so many people talking and grabbing
food. Jamie had made a really good lentil and sausage soup with delicious
ciabatta buns both white and whole wheat and several excellent cheeses. The
first bottles of wine, beer and soft drinks were opened. They had brought
several large 2 litre tubs of various flavours of ice cream for dessert. A
veritable feast and this was just the beginning.

At one point, Timothy put his arm around Jeremy's shoulder, "Thanks for the
idea. It is so wonderful to have everyone here like this. You looked so at
peace with Luc down by the water. He is growing and beginning to talk a
bit. He walks with determination just like all the family, both sides."

Gio and Kevin arrived just as everyone had finished eating. There had been
a computer problem at Gio's work and he had to go in to solve it and get
the system up running again. Jamie had made certain that food had been left
for them. Again Jeremy was so happy to see how Jamie greeted Gio. They had
become quite close. Timothy remembered the stories of their talks that led
to Gio and Kevin meeting and becoming partners. He suddenly realized that
there were three gay couples at this weekend and it obviously made no
difference to anyone. Then he saw his guy laughing and joking with Pierre
and MC. As usual, it was Jeremy who had the little guy in tow. Timothy's
smile was one of love and contentment.

They had some some volleyball nets which were quickly set up after lunch
along with an old croquet set that Mr. and Mrs. M and Momma said that they
preferred over the more strenuous volleyball. The guys tried to convince
them to try the volleyball. All refused.

They were right. The volleyball became very testosterone driven even with
MC playing with the guys. No one wanted to be beaten. So partners played
against partners and neither side was going to accept defeat. It was
decided that Kevin would join Timothy, MC and Philipo. As would be expected
the game was boisterous with the 'adults' looking on making disparaging
comments about both sides. When they broke, the games were tied and
Timothy's father had called it a draw and announced that refreshments would
be served on the front porch.

Timothy couldn't resist. As Jeremy walked over to the porch, Timothy, "We
let you draw. We didn't want to beat you with MC on our team." That got a
reaction from both Jeremy and MC who had played a very good game. Timothy
winked at her and she smiled.

"No we took pity on you because she was great and the rest of you were like
children. Oh so weak. We'll see tomorrow or Monday who are the real men
here."

Jeremy scowled at him. "Yeah, promises, promises. Again." He rolled his
eyes.

MC shook her head in mock disgust at the two and the guys smiled at each
other and walked to the porch with arms around their shoulders.

Mrs. M had put on quite a spread along with Mr. M, with very good wine,
beer, some scotches, soft drinks, pates, crackers, chips, and nuts. There
were a lot of comments about the wonderful food and how good it tasted
after after an afternoon of exercise.

Momma, Mrs. M and Jamie soon disappeared to put supper together. The guys
looked into the kitchen. As Jeremy and Timothy guessed it was an Italian
feast. Momma actually outdid herself. He realized that Jamie and Kevin had
also brought some Italian dishes. Everyone was trying to help Momma
out. The smells from the kitchen eventually started to waft out to the
porch.

Jeremy looked at the crowd and held up his hand. "I think that we should
stop with the food here. From the smells and knowing Momma, she has
probably outdone herself and we had better leave some room for a fabulous
dinner."

Pops gave Jeremy one loving look as he nodded his head yes. It was clear
that Jeremy really understood both his grandparents. Timothy felt so lucky.

What could anyone say about the dinner that they had, from Italian
appetizers to dessert? It was clear that Momma had put her heart into the
meal. Timothy had asked Pops to say grace and Timothy had looked at Momma
at the end of the grace and spoke a few extra words. "Momma, when Jeremy
and I planned this weekend, we never dreamed about the love and affection
that we would feel around this table. Thank you for this wonderful meal. It
pulls us together as families, something so important to both of us. A
toast to all who helped with this meal and especially to Momma." There was
a rousing cheer as glasses clinked. Momma again was at a loss for
words. She smiled at Timothy and explained all the dishes giving credit to
Jamie and to Kevin for the dishes that they had brought. Jeremy touched his
guy's hand under the table as a thank you.

Timothy by the end of the meal began to wonder if Thanksgiving dinner would
be a let down after all this wonderful meal.

They rested and then decided on a game of hearts. Again partner ended up
trying to get partner, there were laughs and cries of pain as people were
left with high counting hands. They finally all agreed that it was time for
bed.

It was going to be a fairly mild night so Timothy at Jeremy's urging agreed
that they should sleep on the porch.

Timothy had looked at his guy with suspicious eyes. "You want to get me out
of the Chalet away from everyone. You just want to get your hands on my
sexy body."

Jeremy looked back at him with innocent eyes. " What, me?" He paused and
then that trademark smile spread over his face that could melt Timothy in a
moment. "Yep."

They had blown up the air mattresses in advance and they unzipped the
sleeping bags. They turned off most of the lights and put on tops and put
the bottoms beside the air mattresses. They had brought dressing gowns with
them and put them beside them as well. They had moved the air mattresses
out of sight of the doorway.

"What a great day. You said the nicest things to Momma. I could tell that
she was touched."

"I was so proud of you. All this was your idea and it has brought our two
families together."

"Jamie seemed a bit distracted at times today as if he was thinking about
something else. I noticed that Philipo put his arm around him a couple of
times and Jamie sunk into him. My god how close those too are! They didn't
think that I could hear them but so many nights and mornings, they drove me
up the wall hearing them at it. I learned more about life and love from
those two than my own parents. I should try and talk to him tomorrow if I
get a chance. You know they remind me of you, smart, loving, caring and
horny as hell"

"Hey, it takes two. You are exactly like them. Could be their son. Oh
that's right you are in a strange way but you really are their son."

Timothy reached over and pulled his guy to him. There wasn't a lot more
said but there was a lot more done quietly and it was not quick. They edged
several times, stopping to kiss and feel and touch the other. Luckily
Timothy had thought of everything and there was a clean towel for the very
necessary clean up later. Before he fell asleep, Timothy did think back to
that night in July in the tent with his lover. It had only gotten better,
so much better.
