"What a great day. You said the nicest things to Momma. I could tell that
she was touched."

"I was so proud of you. All this was your idea and it has brought our two
families together."

"Jamie seemed a bit distracted at times today as if he was thinking about
something else. I noticed that Philipo put his arm around him a couple of
times and Jamie sank into him. My god how close those too are! They didn't
think that I could hear them but so many nights and mornings, they drove me
up the wall hearing them AT IT. I learned more about life and love from
those two than my own parents. I should try to talk to him tomorrow if I
get a chance. You know they remind me of you, smart, loving, caring and
horny as hell"

"Hey, it takes two. You are exactly like them. Could be their son. Oh
that's right you are in a strange way. No, you are their son."

Timothy reached over and pulled his guy to him. There wasn't a lot more
said but there was a lot more done quietly and it was not quick. They edged
several times, stopping to kiss and feel and touch the other. Luckily
Timothy had thought of everything and there was a clean towel for the very
necessary clean up later. Before he fell asleep, Timothy did think back to
that night in July in the tent with his lover. It had only gotten better,
so much better.

Present

Jeremy opened his eyes to Timothy, wide awake, lying on his side, staring
at him.

"Hey I am sure that the view down to the lake is much better than what you
are looking at."

Shaking his head no, Timothy looked happy. "Do you know how gorgeous you
look. Hair all ruffled from sleep with just a bit of stubble on your
face. One sexy dude and I have wood to prove it."

Jeremy reached over and stroked him smiling broadly. "This could pose a
problem getting to the bathroom. No ensuite here."

"You could help me out." Timothy reached over and fondled the equally hard
object beside him. "We could help each other out with our hands again." He
raised his eyebrows several times. "I even have a towel here to clean up
with."

Jeremy just started to chuckle muttering, "Always ready." He reached for
the lube in his bag. He held it up in the air and raised HIS eyebrows
several times.

Minutes later kissing passionately only to keep then noise down of course,
they could feel the other begin to tense. Timothy shuddered as he climaxed
and very soon after Jeremy followed him.

Jeremy looked at him through the fog of his climax. "Lover, you have me
ensnared in mind, soul and body."

They were still the first up and when they heard footsteps coming down the
hall, Jeremy switched on the coffee maker and Timothy put the milk and eggs
in the pancake mix and stirred it thoroughly.

"OK, I hope whoever that is likes pancakes and maple syrup and it is the
real stuff."

Timothy's mother and father appeared in the kitchen. With a big smile,
Mrs. M, "Ah the energy of youth. We would love some pancakes and especially
that coffee that I can smell."

They sat around talking and then filled themselves with some very good
pancakes, a mix that the guys had found and really liked."

Finally they heard movement down the hall from Pierre and MC and in walked
Luc who made a dash for Jeremy. Jeremy picked him up over his head to the
delighted squeals of Luc.

Soon the the next group was into their morning breakfast. Momma popped her
head looking into the kitchen. "I smell something delicious. A good
Canadian breakfast in the country. Coffee, I need it. What a treat to be
served by my grandsons."

"Pops, coffee and pancakes?" He smiled and shook his head in a big yes.

Finally, Jamie and Philipo came in bleary eyed. Jeremy and Timothy looked
at each other. Jeremy whispered, "I told you what they were like. Probably
didn't get a lot of sleep."

Everyone had to hurry as they were going to mass. Timothy and Jeremy wanted
to go but they might have to leave early to get the turkey in the oven. So
by the time they left for church, the stuffing was in the turkey. He was so
glad that he had made the stuffing the day before. It lightened his load a
lot.

The family took up a lot of spaces in the small church but the Malenfants
were well know in the community as they attended every Sunday when they
were at the Chalet. Timothy was so proud to be sitting beside his mother
and father on one side with Jeremy on his other side and with Momma and
Pops beside him. MC and family was on the other side of Timothy's
parents. During the service, Timothy gave his own thanks for all that had
happened after July 2. It was a good service with joyous hymns of praise
and a very interesting, thoughtful homily. They were greeted warmly by the
priest at the end as they left. Timothy simply introduced Jeremy as his
friend. The return greeting by the priest was warm and welcoming. They had
to rush off.

Lunch was a mixture of all the food from the previous day. As Timothy was
organizing the clean up and assigning tasks for the dinner that night, he
noticed Jamie looking out over the water on the porch lost in thought.

Timothy signalled Jeremy to come over. "Jamie is out on the porch lost in
thought. I have lots of help. Why don't you take him for a walk along the
beach and talk to him?" He saw the look on Jeremy's face. "Come on, you
have helped all day and last week. I have mom, Momma, MC as my sous
chefs. I am going to conscript, Dad, Gio, Kevin, Philipo and Pops. Just
go." He touched his guy's arm with a warm squeeze, softly, "Go."

Jeremy told him the whole story later that night.

"Hey Dad let's go for a walk on the beach. I want to talk to you for a
while. Haven't seen much of you lately at work or at home."

They made their way down to the beach which connected with other beach
fronts for a long stretch of beach. They talked a bit about the weekend and
how great it had been having all the families there together.

Finally, Jeremy got up his courage. "Dad, I have been noticing you this
weekend. You seem lost in thought and I thought that I saw Philipo
comforting you a couple of times. Everything OK?"

Jeremy was pleased as he got the first big smile of the weekend from
Jamie. "You know David is so right about you. You seem to have the innate
ability to read people and situations. He feels that you have almost taken
his job away from him with the way that you are handling the staff. That is
not a complaint and no, don't deny it. You are right, I have let work get
the better of me this last week and you are part of the equation. Thanks
for finding the time and getting me out of my 'lost in thought' mode."

"My first business partner at The Accountants, Gerry, who as you know owns
20 percent of the shares, wants to retire and having made the decision, he
wants to go soon. He wants to keep some shares as an investment and sell
about half of his shares now. So I have to move some people around. I have
been thinking of making some changes and this is my chance. It means a lot
of careful thought and planning. You are part of that."

"Dad, I can't be part of that. I have just arrived. I don't know anything
about management."

"Question. How old was I when I started this firm?" He paused. "The answer
is younger than you are now. I learned by instinct and doing. David and
Peter say that you are a natural, bright and insightful. Do you want to
hear my proposal?"

Jeremy sighed and nodded. "I have said several times that David is my best
hire in years. I want to move him out and take over Jerry's job, well most
of it. David is doing mostly management now. I want Peter to take over a
part of David's present job and I want to make you assistant manager of the
Forensic Division. You would be in daily charge of personnel and overseeing
cases as well as working day to day with the team and on your own
files. David tells me that you are basically doing that now. I have seen
the statistics on new cases and phone calls about possible new forensic
cases. We might want to hire someone with a background in forensics."

"Funny you should say that. I have a thought about Heather. She is good, a
natural. I would like to send her on some courses to enhance her knowledge
in this type of accounting."

Jamie laughed and put his arm around Jeremy. "See what I mean. 'Dad I can't
be part of that'. You are already doing the job that I want you take. I
know that you have brought William onside. Look I am going to get some of
these ideas on paper and I want an owner's and head's meeting in the very
near future. Probably next week."

Jeremy looked thoughtful now. "I can see why you were lost in thought. I'll
have to think long and hard about what you have offered me. I understand
your rationale. The offer is just a shock but I understand." He sighed but
smiled at Jamie. "What are your thoughts on the shares?"

Again Jamie smiled. "What are your thoughts on those shares."

"Dad I am buying a house and I want to go Europe next spring. Of course, I
would love to increase my shares but ...." He shrugged.

"I have some ideas about that as well. Maybe later, one thing at a time."

"Dad, don't keep me in suspense."

"I think that you should pay for them. I am going to give you some of mine
about 5 % of the total shares that I own, a gift. I could arrange a
personal loan with no interest for Gerry's shares at market value. If we do
it soon, you can quickly use your share of the profits to pay off the
loan. It will make you the second largest share holder in the company. I
like that; that is why I am giving you some share."

"I can really see why you were lost in thought." He chuckled. "The weight
of the world on your shoulders." He gave his Dad a hug. "You know that I
trust you and I'll do everything I can to help during the transition
including your plan for the Forensic Department. I am just a little
shocked. I guess I have some planning that I shall have to do."

"You really are like me. You like a challenge." It was Jamie's turn to hug
him.

They walked amiably back to the chalet chatting about this and that. "Dad,
I know that this can't go any further but it was Timothy who encouraged me
to talk to you today. So?"

"I cannot think of anyone more trustworthy than your partner. You two
remind me so much of Philipo and me."

Brief chuckle, "We said the same thing about you guys last night. I said
that Timothy reminded me of you and Philipo and then he said the same about
me. I have said and thought, it is often luck that plays so much in our
lives."

Jamie looked at him quizzically. "I played cards with Timothy at Jake's
bachelor party and later in the evening I forgot his name promising to
remember it at the wedding. He remembered my promise and came and spoke to
me. I took a chance and told him that I was gay and he asked me to a
movie. Luckiest day of my life except for meeting you at Father Gregory's"

"You know you are right. After Collin left me, I was in a slump for a long
time and Tom threatened to track me down if I didn't go to the club that
Friday in September. I went expecting not to enjoy it. This crazy Italian
came on to me telling me that he knew what I needed ... him. He was so
clever, handsome and endearing that I accepted his invitation to go home
with him." He chuckled. "He was right, I needed him and it was just luck
that we were there together that night. I had stayed away from such places
for months. It was his first time there in weeks. For both of us, it wasn't
just a rebound romance. We were both ready."

They entered the chalet and as they did, they each looked at the other with
looks of love and caring, a bond that had grown very deep. The smells that
were coming from the kitchen were already fantastic. Timothy was the chef
and he had his sous chefs busy. Philipo and MC were peeling a mound of
potatoes with a large pot that was coming to a boil for the
potatoes. Parsnips, peppers, onions and bulbs of garlic were being peeled,
sliced or separated ready for roasting in the oven by Gio and
Kevin. Cauliflower was being cut into heads ready to be put in the steamer
by Mr. M and Pops. Momma was making a bechamel sauce and there was grated
Parmesan and old cheddar cheese ready to put into it. It was going to be
another feast. The pumpkin and apple pies were already out warming up to
room temperature. They had cheated on the whipped cream as there were cans
of whipped cream in the refrigerator.

There was fun and joking in the kitchen which had become the focal point of
the afternoon. As people finished their tasks and cleaned up their area,
they circulated out to the porch where Pierre had put out the wine, liquor,
soft drinks and beer along with snacks from the previous day. Thanksgiving
was in full swing.

Finally there were steaming bowls of vegetables, mashed potatoes, dressing,
bechamel sauce and gravy. Momma had been fascinated by the glass container
with a long pouring spout that Timothy had used to separate the fat from
the gravy; Timothy was watching his father's diet. There was huge pile of
sliced turkey on a platter that Jeremy had carved. The smells were almost
intoxicating.

Timothy looked at his father. "Dad, would you say grace?"

His father looked around the table. "I don't think that we have had such a
great Thanksgiving in years. It was Jeremy's idea and he and Timothy have
worked their magic to get the two families together. Father George, this
morning, mentioned how happy and together our group looked at church and he
did mention the joyful singing that he heard from our families. I raise my
glass to our two guys." There were murmurs of thanks around the table." He
then said grace.

Before they started to serve, Timothy raised his glass. "This meal wouldn't
have happened without everyone's help. Thanks to all of you." He raised his
glass and saluted them. He was very touched when his mother leaned over and
gave him a quick kiss.. The look on his father's face was filled with pride
for his son.

They actually decided to wait for dessert until the food had at least
digested a bit. Everyone was filled and the compliments for the meal were
many to the chef. The dessert was as good as the main meal and they had
another rousing game of cards later.

Jeremy and Timothy had said goodnight to everyone and had set up their
'bedroom' in the porch. "You looked as if you had quite a talk with
Jamie. Everything OK?"

"I was right. He had been lost in thought. He dropped a bombshell on me."
He told Timothy the story and finished by saying, "I am too young, don't
know anything about management."

"So you think that Jamie is a bad judge of talent and character. He has
probably talked it over with Philipo. He too must be a bad judge." He gave
his guy a penetrating stare. "I am going to ask you as you asked me. Why
has he asked you take over the day to day running of the Forensic
Department?"

"I, I ...."

"From what I see and hear, you are doing the job now."

"That's what Jamie said. Have you and he talked?"

He shook his head, a negative. "I know my guy's abilities. I see how the
staff already looks up to him."

Timothy looked at him with his head tilted to the side. He used his finger
to beckon Jeremy to come closer. "You are going to run the company some
day. Prediction. Peter will be moved out of Forensics in a very short
period of time. Get used to it. Learn, hone your skills. Boss!"

Finally smiling and shaking his head in wonder at his guy, Jeremy had
obeyed his signal and moved toward him. Timothy pulled Jeremy even
closer. He kissed him gently and the kiss quickly became more passionate
and loving. If there had been any real doubt of Timothy's feelings for
Jeremy, they would have been quickly wiped away. At one point, Timothy had
to put his hand over Jeremy's mouth with a admonition for quiet. At home,
he would have joined in the noise. This late evening loving was almost
unbearably intense and pleasurable.

When their finish finally came, they lay together breathing hard lost in
the intimacy of shared love and pleasure. Finally, Jeremy raised himself up
looking at his lover. "Thanks for the day, thanks for your words of
encouragement, thanks for being with me. I knew I missing something but I
never dreamed that it would be like this."

Timothy pulled them together. Each could feel the slickness of the others
body. It only reminded them of minutes before. Timothy kissed Jeremy
softly. "Sleep well, love."

Next thing that either realized was that Luc was walking towards them
saying things in his own language mixed with words like Jrmy, Tmty.

MC's voice. "Are you guys respectable?"

Timothy pulled the blanket up over their naked chests. "Sort of."

They heard her attempt to stifle a laugh. "I figured as much. Don't show my
son too much."

"He has to learn sometime. OK, maybe not everything at once. Give us a
minute."

Quickly, T shirts were pulled on and boxers were stretched on over rather
large, hard parts of male anatomy. They sat up on the air mattresses wiling
the hard parts, soft. It worked and Luc was cuddled between them talking
and moving.

"MC what a great way to wake up. I guess that we slept in. It's everyone
for themselves for breakfast. You know where the cereal and bread is. There
are eggs and bacon in the refrigerator if you want them. We'll look after
this guy for you. Oh Jeremy will be out to make the coffee when he can pry
Luc off himself."

Quick kiss good morning and they were both up and Jeremy was in the kitchen
making coffee in record time. More intimate greetings would have to wait
for later. Minutes later, Jeremy was smiling broadly as he looked into the
porch to see Luc and Timothy boisterously playing with some of the toys
that had been left on the porch. He grabbed his camera and took the
picture. Jeremy ended up on the floor with the two. It really was a great
way to start the morning. Timothy even offered to change the diaper when
things became a bit smelly. He was complimented on having become very
competent in that department.

The morning passed quickly and talk of leaving started. They ate a large
meal of the left overs from the weekend. They discussed the closing of the
cottage and the guys decided that the next weeks were going to be busy so
with the help of Gio and Kevin, the guys made Mr. M be the foreman as they
did the lifting and putting away.

The goodbyes were heartfelt by everyone. They all agreed that this could
become a tradition for the families. The guys stood in the lane way waving
at Jamie, Philipo, Momma and Pops. Then it was good byes to MC and family
and the final kisses to Luc. Mr. Malenfant was very thankful for the heavy
lifting that Gio and Kevin did.

Finally it was just the guys and Timothy's parents left as they drained the
water from the system, put in antifreeze in the water traps and turned the
furnace on to keep the chalet warm for the Fall. They decided that if they
had the time, Jeremy and Timothy would come up in late October and November
and make certain that everything was OK and turn off the furnace if they
decided that they would not use the chalet in the winter. They took out all
the food that was left, locked the doors and went to their cars.

Mrs. M gave the boys a huge hug and thanks. Mr. M said a very quiet thanks
to each of 'his guys'. It was clear that to Timothy and Jeremy that Mr. M
was totally accepting of them. It was Jeremy who reflected on the way home
to his guy, that five months had made quite a difference.

They had stopped in at a small restaurant on their way home for a light
supper. With everything put away and washing in the dryer, they finally
collapsed on the couch sighing with pleasure at a job well done.

They did make up for the unfinished intimate business from their morning
when Luc had bounded into the porch. They were soon sound asleep. They both
said over a very quick breakfast, the shower had taken a bit too much time,
that they would have a very busy few weeks at work and planning the
renovations for their new home. There already had meetings planned by Pops
with a company that specialized in kitchens and bathrooms renovations. They
had another company coming in to discuss a back porch and a possible patio
door from the kitchen to the porch. There was talk of a decorator to
discuss painting and to discuss colours but that could wait until next
week.

Jeremy had to keep dates open for Jamie's planned meeting for his changes
at The Accountants. Timothy knew that he would be very busy with his plans
for office renovations that he would put before the Partners and Heads in
mid to late October. He had mentally set himself a deadline of the
Wednesday of the third week of October.

Timothy arrived in time at the office to find out how the holiday weekend
went for everyone in the office. John looked and sounded very pleased with
his Thanksgiving. Timothy hoped that he would hear more detail
later. Andrew spent a good weekend at his parent's cottage with Jennifer.

Jeremy did the same at The Accountants. Heather had spent the weekend with
Robert and his family and she looked very pleased. William was also
brimming with enthusiasm with their time at his parents with Marie. David
and Mark had gone to New York for the weekend and it had been
outstanding. Knowing David as he did, he could imagine what that meant.

Over the next week, Timothy had worked very closely with his staff and they
came up with a plan to reorganize their office and they chose the style of
furniture that they wanted. Mme. Chenier had chosen carpets and pictures
for the walls. Timothy had worked with the Head of Planning. He was
surprised how quickly they were able to come up with the plan. Timothy
reflected as Jeremy was fond of saying, synergy really did work.

When he finally went to Mr. Rushworth and Mr. Jennings, the Chair of the
Partner's meetings, he had two plans to present. The first was just the
replacement of the present furniture and rugs and a repainting of the
area. The second required alteration of their space with the creation of a
small conference room. Timothy insisted that they keep the office that he
had first been in because he was determined that he would have another
lawyer in their department. He showed them pictures of offices around the
firm, that he had taken and then his area. Again he would have sworn that
Mr. Jennings was just holding back a laugh. It was agreed that this item
would be on the agenda next Wednesday.

Timothy was probably more pleased with how his staff worked together as
they made the plan for their project. Timothy could feel that Mme. Chenier
now felt that she was part of the team as well. He was pleased with how his
department was developing.

Jeremy had finally received a message that there was meeting planned at
their usual restaurant for Thursday of that week. Knowing in outline
Jamie's ideas from their walk on the beach, he started to sketch out how he
would organized the office and how he would fit himself into his new
position. He even started to think about how he would introduce the team to
this new organization. If he was going to be assistant head and probably
head in a short time later, he would be the head. He decided that he would
take charge from the start.

The guys were excited that they had a meeting at their condo on the
Wednesday with the person from the firm that did consulting on kitchen and
bathroom renovations. They had taken a lot of pictures and Pops had taken
measurements when he had been in the house. With their football practice on
Tuesday, it was going to be as busy as they had expected.

They were both wired in a good way when they arrived home on
Wednesday. They had a quick supper and then spread out the diagrams they
had drawn on the computer with the an exact replica of the areas under
discussion with the measurements. The had used a pretty easy CAD
program. They downloaded their photos of the rooms onto a USB stick and
that was in their computer. They were ready.

The woman was impressed with their background work. Pops laughed saying
that they were dealing with an accountant and a lawyer and did he have to
say anything else. That helped lighten the mood.

She was full of ideas and before they knew it she had designed a new
kitchen. It did involve moving the sink and the appliances around but it
was so much better organized and easy to work in. All they had to do was
choose the cabinet door styles and colours, the countertop material and
what they would use on the floor. She actually suggested not putting in a
patio door but installing a larger door with a large window and then
putting in a large picture window that opened where they could put a small
table for breakfast. She suggested making the room longer and redesigning
the small room beside the kitchen. She took their photos of the bedroom and
the measurements. She asked if they she could actually see the interior or
the house. Pops said that he would set that up with the owners and his
guys.

When Pops and the designer had left, the two guys looked at other. It was
Timothy who broke the silence and said what they were both thinking. "Shit,
it is real. Are we doing the right thing?"

Jeremy smiled and grabbed him. "I feel the same the way I did when I bought
this condo. It felt right and I felt really good about it."

"I have never done anything this big in my life before. I guess I just have
to get used to it. I really liked her ideas. I have to admit that I could
almost see us cooking and eating in that kitchen.'

"Hold it. You teamed up with me. You came out to your parents. You took on
a promotion. You are about to present a big item to the Partners and
Heads. This is small stuff."

Timothy drew them closer. "Yeah, with you, I can manage anything."

Timothy pulled in tighter. He looked at his guy. Nothing seemed to really
bother him. He often hid his worries well but he believed him now. Timothy
finally felt so content, so sure that he was doing the right thing. Pops
and all the family really liked the house. Their mortgage was small in
comparison to others that he had heard mentioned. Neither of them drove
expensive cars. They could do this. He told himself to stopping thinking
about it and enjoy the experience.

Now Timothy bent in and kissed him. Jeremy responded as he usually did. He
kissed him back and Timothy could feel the tip of Jeremy's tongue on his
lips. It was not an insistent tongue, just gentle, asking. It felt so sexy
to have someone ask you this way to join your bodies together. First it
would be the tongue in each other and slowly hands would roam over the
bodies. Clothes would come undone and slowly find their way to the
floor. How many times had they picked up clothes off this floor; he had
lost count. They would end up naked here or in the bedroom. Then somehow
signals would be given as to who would do what to whom but before that
there would be tongues all over the other until they needed more. Finally,
they would know. Positions would be taken and finally they would
join. Already, signals had been given as to whether it would be gentle and
loving or passionate needing intense sexual gratification.

And so it went, they were finally lying facing each other with one of them
covered in the other's finish and lying together, enjoying the other's
pleasure and their own, limp, satisfied.
