Subject: A New Family-Chapter 1

Jason was startled awake. He thought he had heard something downstairs.
Jack, his partner, was still sound asleep next to him. Jason pushed down
the covers and pulled on his boxers which had been thrown off earlier in
that night by Jack. He moved quietly out of the bedroom towards the sound
coming from the first floor. It was a loud banging sound. Jason walked into
the kitchen and noticed the french doors that led to the deck were wide
open, and the violent winds blowing from the Pacific ocean were banging
them violently against the side of the house. Jason quickly closed the
doors, the cold wind causing his bare chest and back to shiver. He locked
the door. "Everything all right, Jase?" Jason turned around and saw his
partner of 10 years standing naked in the doorway to the kitchen.  "Yeah.
The doors were open and making a ton of noise." Jason responded moving
towards his partner.

The two met and their lips exchanged a brief kiss.  Jason relaxed and felt
warm as Jack hugged his body. Jason loved Jack just as much as he had since
they first met, 10 years ago. "Come on, let's go back to bed." Jack said
and guided his cold partner back upstairs to their bed. The two men
snuggled into each others arms in their warm bed and began passionately
kissing. Their tongues explored each others mouths with great
familiarity. "Jase, everything will be all right. The home visit will go
great. There's nothing to be worried about."

The two men drifted off into sleep, their naked bodies clasped in each
others arms. They had been preparing all week for the home visit of the
agent from the adoption agency. Both men had wanted kids for so long that
they were both so worried about how the inspection would go. But tomorrow
they would be one step closer to receiving a child that they could provide
a loving and caring home for.

The two men approached work the next morning nervously. They would only be
there for half the day, and then come home for their home study in the
afternoon. Jason looked over his list of patients he had to see that
morning. He noticed that little Timmy Brown was on the list. He had been
the doctor of this child's mom when she was pregnant, and he had helped
deliver the boy. Jason developed a close relationship with the family, and
the presence of Jimmy in both Jason and Jack's lives helped the men
understand that they wanted a family of their own.

10:40 rolled around and Nurse Jessica showed Timmy and his dad into an exam
room. She took the young boys pulse, and checked his blood pressure. After
the few preliminary test were finished, the Nurse left the room and told
the father and son to wait until Dr. Eppler was ready to go.

Jason entered the room just a few minutes later, and was greeted by a huge
hug from Timmy. "Uncle Jason! I missed you!" The boy was no longer a boy,
he had clearly begun going through puberty and had grown probably half a
foot since the doctor and patient had last seen each other. "Wow! Timmy,
you've gotten so big! I can barely recognize you! What're you, 12 now? If
it weren't for that adorable nose, I'm not sure I would have," Jason said
with a smirk. "Yep, I'm twelve years old now! Daddy said I'm a big boy
now!"Jeff, Timmy's father and Jason gave each other a quick handshake and
hug. "It's good to see you doc," said Jeff. "We've missed you, haven't we
buddy?" He continued putting his large hand on Timmy's small shoulder. "Oh
yes, we have!" The young boy exclaimed, "You have to come over soon and see
my new room! We painted it and got some new furniture. Daddy said it was
time to have a big-boy room for a big boy."

"I'd love to come see it, buddy," Jason said, messing the young boys blonde
curly hair.

After some more small talk, Jason was able to settle the small boy down a
bit so he could begin his exam. "All right, son, calm down" said Jeff,
"Uncle Jason needs to do the exam. We can't keep him waiting too long. Go
ahead and take off your shirt and shorts." The young boy dutifully did as
his father asked. "Do you like my underwear, Uncle Jason?" The boy proudly
said, "I wanted to wear underwear just like Dad's!" The boy was wearing a
pair of perfectly fit boxer-briefs. They outlined his shape perfectly and
Jason could tell that he was clearly experiencing a growth spurt in all
areas of the body..."They look great, bud" Dr. Jason replied. "Go ahead and
sit up here on the table." The sat on the table and let the Dr. check his
heart rate, and look into his ears and nose and eyes. The boy was
relatively silent throughout the check-up, except for a few giggles here
and there and comments about how cold the stethoscope was.

Jason continued checking the boys lungs, and reflexes throughout his
body. Jason enjoyed being able to see how this young child had grown up
from birth to this point now, on the brink of manhood. "All right, bud,"
Jason said, "you're as healthy as can be. You can go ahead and get dressed.

"The boy leaped off the table and reached for his shirt. "Actually, Jason,"
said Jeff, "do you think you could give him a full check-up? He just
started puberty, and I'd like you to make sure everything is going well."

"Oh, sure, absolutely. Come back over here bud." Jason didn't normally
check his pre-pubescent patients genitals unless he had instruction from
the parent. And it was clear that Jeff wanted his son to get a thorough
check-up, so the doctor obliged. "Go ahead and drop you boxers, son," Jeff
said to his son, "Uncle Jason is going to make sure your penis is growing
well."

"Really?" The boy asked with a bit of a quaver in his voice. It was clear
he wan't quite comfortable being naked in front of the doctor, even a
doctor he was very, very close with. "Yep, this is what happens in big boy
doctor check-ups, and now that you're a big boy, it needs to happen to
you." Jeff explained to his son. "I'm right here, so there's nothing to be
worried about." The father continued, coaching and comforting his son.

The young boy pushed his colorful boxers to the ground and stood naked in
front of Dr. Jason. Jason took the boys penis and balls in his hands and

"Well, Jeff, he's growing just fine. Everything looks great down here. But

pull it back" Jeff gave the doctor a knowing nod. "Yep, will do."

"Timmy, you're growing up so fast!" Jason said.

The still naked boy gave the doctor, his make-shift uncle a big
hug. "Thanks, Uncle Jason! I love coming for my check-up. And make sure you
come visit us soon, OK?"

"All right."

The boy pulled his clothes on while the two men talked and planned a get
together. Jeff gave great encouragement to Jason when he realized their
home study was happening that day. "If anyone deserves to be parents, it's
you and Jack." Jeff said, on the way out the door, "Let us know how it
goes."

"I will. See you guys later!" Jason closed the exam door behind the father
and son. That was what he wanted so desperately. To watch his own son grow
up into a fine young man, full of ideas and imagination. And he knew that
he was a step closer than he had been before. Now if only he could just
calm down and breath. He was so anxious for that afternoons meeting.
