					By Arthur

That age old feeling begins to stir deep down in your groin, the sight
lying on the sofa in total resplendent ease, has awoken in you the basest
desires of any man who loves younger teens.

The innocence and trust in his body position is a testimony to his faith in
you and the safety he feels in your home, this you know can not be broken
by your desire for lustful fulfillment or for a quick relief of your
pending erection.

A charming and somewhat youthful smile adorns his partially open lips as he
breathes steadily in his satiated state. Such innocence, such purity, where
has it all gone in your life. Were you ever like this miniature Adonis with
caramel skin and bloody baggy clothes?

You take the time to amble back to the kitchen for another cold drink and,
after giving it a little consideration, decide to add half a glass of
lemonade to the partly filled beer glass, that'll do, nice and light and
refreshing, don't want to be boozed with a guest like this one in the
house.

On returning to the lounge you take a chair close to the windows to watch
the street and the bay spread out before you while you also keep one eye on
the dream guest. So many wistful thoughts rush through your head, as you
look him over from head to toe, not once, not twice but continuously, your
head turns back to the vision though you try desperately to look at the
world outside the window.

The sun sinks lower in the West as you continue to sit and survey,
thousands of unanswered questions play tag in your head as you watch his
eye movement under his long dark lashes as he sleeps.

Would he?

Does he?

Can He?

What would he say?

What would he do?

Can I?

Will I?

Too many possibilities for you to handle at one time, the small mutterings
melting from his lips, small twitches of youthful muscles, a soft sighing
moan, a toss of the head. You sit in solitary wonderment as your guest
plays out his hidden dreams on your sofa.

Outside the noise of the traffic recedes as the coming dusk sends the sun
to an early bed, the twittering of bird's reaches a crescendo as they find
their perches for the night. Your hand brushes the refreshed glass at your
elbow as the boy groans then mutters as his eyes flutter to open.

A sudden flexing of young muscles as the vision tries to adapt to his new
environment in a place of strangeness and then the slow awareness as he
see's you sitting patiently waiting for him to waken.

"Uh..oh..uhm...hi Ted, sorry did I drop off on you?"

"It's ok David, you looked tuckered out so I let you sleep, feel better
now?"

"Yeah, thanks Ted, shit it's almost dark, what's the time?"

"About 7.00 or 7.30. you need to go?"

"Nah but I would like to call me Mum if it's ok with you?"

"Sure, you can use this phone or there's one in the hall, go for your
life."

"Thanks, be back soon."

Watching as he gains his feet you become aware that he is like a sinuous
wild cat as he rises to his feet, no hint of wasted energy just a smooth
transition from lying to standing in one faultless movement as he lithely
glides across the room to the hallway.

A muttering of an adolescent voice, the words diffused by the wall between
you both and within seconds he has returned to take his place on the sofa,
leaning back, legs slightly spread apart, hands folded loosely in his lap.

"So tell me David, what have you got planned for a Saturday night?"

"Nothing, there's a party set up over at Paparua Bay but I don't feel like
going all that way just to get boozed."

"Wha... you mean you go out boozing at your age, bit young aren't you for
that sort of thing?"

"Nah.. everyone does it now-days, just don't feel like it tonight. You want
me to leave now?"

The uncertainty in his voice tells you that he would rather stay just where
he is for now, but, as you know, if he were to stay to long would you be
able to resist the temptation to try something with this angel in baggy
clothes.

"No David, I'm not doing anything this weekend so, if you want to, you're
welcome to stay as long as you like."

"Great, Mum's not home, she left a message on the answer phone for me, that
she's taken the other kids to Grans till tomorrow so I got all weekend with
nothing to do."

"Well if you feel ok about it, you can stay here as long as you like."

"Thanks Ted, don't you go out on the weekends?"

"Nothing to go out for David, been alone to long and most of my time is
taken up with work or looking after the house, no servants here to do it
for me."

You smile at your own joke as those hazel eyes cut through your weakening
defenses. A mumble comes from the perfect red lips as the boy's head falls
onto his chest to cover his embarrassment.

"What was that David?"

"Uhm... I said I wouldn't mind being your servant."

The brightness of his red cheeks makes you realize how much it took for him
to voice his opinions out loud in your presence.

"I'd never ask you to do that David, I've been looking after myself for as
long as I can remember and would never ask anyone else to do it for me."

"But I wouldn't mind, honest."

"Well thanks David but I'm sure there are plenty of other things you would
rather do than spend too much time around the likes of me."

Again a mumble deep into his chest.

"What's that David?"

"I said, not really, I like it here, your house is quiet and it's neat and
clean, not like at home with all the brothers and sisters making a mess all
the time."

"Well you're welcome anytime you want to come around, now, you hungry again
or would you like to sit and watch some TV for a bit before dinner?"

"D'yah think we could just go outside and sit on the veranda, I'd like to
watch the sun go down and look at the water."

"Sure, go grab a cold drink and come on out, I'll wait out there for you,
that's just the sort of thing I like to do. It's the peace and quiet of
the early evening that I like the most."

"Same here Ted, but I don't get much chance at home, too many kids around
and Mums always yelling or arguing with her boyfriend, just no place to go
for a bit of peace and quiet there."

You take your place in one of the all weather loungers on the veranda and
stretch out your legs to ease the kinks and place your glass on the table
beside you. Come on old man, get real, you're bloody 60 years old, why
would a kid as good looking as he is, want anything to do with you. Just
offer him a place of safety and leave it at that, don't go reading more
into it than there is, that's the fast track to a jail cell.

The soft sound of bare feet padding onto the veranda behind you as the boy
settles his tight little butt on the other lounger, got to stop those
thoughts, he's given no indication as to his likes or dislikes, so get it
out of your head old man.

A soft sound of swallowing mixed with the distant hum of traffic are the
only noises to break the silence and peace of the early evening as you sit
side by side and watch the burgeoning star light begin to flicker over the
waters of the darkening bay.

"So Ted, you always been alone or were you married once?"

"No David, I never married, spent most of my youth running all over the
place looking for adventure, just never seemed to think about it at the
time."

"Didn't you ever want kids or nothing?"

"I never gave it any thought when I was younger David, still I suppose now
that I'm older I would have liked to have someone to have left behind but
it's too late now. No one wants a washed out old guy."

"You could always adopt someone!"

"No, not with the laws about adoption being as they are."

"Pity, you'd make a good father for someone."

"Well thanks but you don't know me that well, what gave you that idea
anyway?"

"Ok then, look at me, we only met once for a short time and yet you invited
me here anytime I wanted. You sit and listen to me and answer everything I
want to know, to me that is what a real Dad should be."

"Ah, but you're a guest here, if you were my son you wouldn't be out
partying at your age and with school to do as well. I don't think you
would want to se me when I get a flea in my ear about something as
important as education or respect for others as well as yourself."

"I don't know about that Ted, but you seem to be ok too me. I know I take
things a bit light but really I do good in school and want to make
something of myself, it's just...well... things seem to get in the way at
times."

"Let me tell you what I think about you David, firstly, the clothes you
wear don't tell the whole story about what is going on inside your head,
from what I've seen so far I'm sure you are a lot brighter and cleverer
than people think you are. I was watching you at the Mall with your friends
and while you have fun with them, I have a feeling that you are a bit
lonely at times. How did I do so far?"

"Yeah well maybe, what else do you see about me?"

"There's a lot of other things but I don't think I should go there just
now. Tell me David, how old are you really?"

A small smile comes over the red lips as he bashfully looks at his lap.

"I'll be 15 on the first of next month, why?"

"Ah, well ok. Look David, I've got something to tell you and if you feel
you would rather not come here again I will fully understand, ok?"

"Sure."

"First off I live a pretty simple life, I'm not into going out partying or
night clubbing, I like my privacy and the small set of order that I have
here at home. If you decide to continue to visit here then you will always
be welcome at any time of the day or night, ok so far?"

"Yeah sure."

"Good, I have very few rules in the house or in my life but there are a
couple that I never break or bend. First, I hate liars, second, I detest
thieves, third, you make a mess, then it's up to you to clean it up, ok?"

"Hey, nothing wrong with them rules, sounds common sense stuff to me."

"Well here comes the bummer for you, hating liars means that I can't lie to
you either. I have something to tell you and your reactions, good or bad
will not change my opinion of you, fair enough?"

"Yep sure, I like you Ted, I don't think there's anything that would change
that."

Well this is it, time to put it out there in the open and let the cards lay
where they fall. The boy will either run for cover or he will accept you
for whom you are and maybe, just maybe, you will have a young friend who
will understand your loneliness. The basis of any friendship is honesty and
it is up to you to set a standard for the boy.

"Well here goes then, David I'm a gay man, I have been since I was younger
than you are now. I do like younger guys and always have. Now if that is ok
with you and you want to continue to visit here for some peace and quiet
then you are always welcome. I will never put any hard word on you to do
anything and you will never be in any danger from me. The decision is yours
entirely as to what you want to do or say at any time. I will never lie to
you or if I don't know an answer to something then I will make an effort to
find out for you, no matter what it is you ask."

You search his features for any sign of distaste or fear but all you see is
a small smile, something akin to acceptance or is it confirmation, this boy
is not a fool and you feel a weight lift from your shoulders as you
disclose your innermost secret to a teen boy.

"Yeah Ted, it's ok, I knew already but thanks for trusting me, it feels
good to be treated like an adult instead of a small kid."

He knew, how the hell could he know, this is the first time we've even had
a conversation and I don't go around limp wrested like the street
molls. How the hell could a kid his age have guessed?

"You...you knew?"

"Hell yeah, Whipit told me ages ago, its' cool, look Ted, this is the 21st
century, us kids aren't as dumb as most adults think we are. Jeez, did you
know that Whipit lost his virginity to a 16 year old girl when he was
12. Look Ted we got access to the Net as well as most parents have porn
videos hidden at home and I bet there isn't a kid that can' find where they
hide them. So you're gay, hell two of my mates are gay, one of them goes
with men from the public toilets after school. Really, it's not a big
deal."

"I...I..don't know what to say David, all I can promise is that I will
never make a move on you but if you need me any time then just ask."

"Thanks, look I know you're not a Paedo, if I had any worries about that I
would have left running ages ago."

"Really, how did you work that out?"

"I wasn't asleep on the sofa when you came in from the kitchen, that's why
I spread myself out like that, to see if you would make a move on me. When
you just sat and watched me I knew I was safe with you so then I dozed
off."

"Tricky guy, huh?"

"Like I said, Whipit told me so I knew already and there was something
about you that told me I was in no danger with you. Sure I have seen you
before checking out the young guys in the Mall at times but you never made
a move on anyone, that sort of told me you could be trusted and that's why
I came over to say Hi."

"Like I said David, you are not a dummy, so it's ok with you about what I
am?"

"Wouldn't be here if it was a prob. Ted, seeing as you been honest with me
then it's my turn, ok?"

"As I said David, I won't lie to you about anything, go ahead."

"Ted, I don't have a Dad to teach me stuff, I've been with a couple of
girls and I like what we do but at the same time there is things I want to
know about that I can't ask the mates or teachers. Like I said before,
older people have stuff they know and the things I want to know about are
not always kid stuff."

You suddenly realize that the sun has gone to bed and that the nighttime
breeze has gotten a little colder. Your guest is still only dressed in his
light clothes and your bones are starting to ache as the dampness sets in.

"All I can say David, is thank you for your trust and understanding, it's
really refreshing to see a young guy like you with such an open mind and
the ability to accept those that are different from you."

The radiance of the smile brightens the evening as he looks over at you
with a raised eyebrow.

"How do you know I'm different from you?"

This boy is quick, but its time to put a stop to this for now, might be
time for food, after all he's teen and you know they're always famished.

"Well David, I'm getting hungry, what about you?"

"Oh I'll eat anything anytime, Ted, what did you have in mind?"

"I thought a bit of chicken and salad with some fresh new potatoes, maybe a
glass of white wine to
wash it down and if you have any room left I have some Pavlova in the
fridge for desert."

"Where do you buy all that stuff?"

"Buy it? I don't buy it David, well not cooked anyhow, I do all my own
cooking, not into all that
prepared stuff they have now. I like to cook and it's a lot healthier for
you. Tell you what, how
about you make the salad for us while I do the chicken?"

"Salad? I don't know how to make stuff in the kitchen."

"Well now would be a good time to start, come on it's easy, I'll show you
what to do then you can be chief cook and bottle washer when you come visit
again."

"Hmm, well ok but I still don't know anything about cooking."

"Hey it's simple, can you turn on the oven?"

The sound of teen giggles filled the veranda as the boy wriggled in his
lounger.

"Yeah of course I can."

"Can you put a pot of water on to boil?"

"That's easy."

"Ok then, you can cook, it's that simple."

"Yeah right, if you say so."

"Trust me, you'll be a top chef in no time, just cut, sliced, dice and
throw it all in a pot to boil easy as falling off a log."

The atmosphere around the house brightened immediately as the fun of
cooking for the first time grabbed his attention, his enthusiasm took hold
as he bounded towards the kitchen while you watched the smooth muscles of
his butt slide and glide under their covering of denim.

Now is not a good time to be thinking about that sort of thing, you tell
yourself, he trusts you and you don't need to go there at all. He is
willing to learn new things and is adventurous enough as well as wise
enough to tell you what he wants, when he wants it.

Ah well, if only, if only. To have had a son like this boy would have made
you life more meaningful and just maybe you wouldn't be having those lonely
nights and empty days, still, no use crying over spilt milk, can't change
it all now at this time of your life.

The voice of reason floats to you from the kitchen.

"Hey Ted, what I got to do in here?"

Ok old man, get your ancient ass moving, time for Cooking101 to start, and
a nice apprentice awaits your infinite wisdom in the realms of catering.
