18: A Turn of Events

Dennis was laying on in the middle of the Queen sized bed with his legs
spread wide, his flag at full mast and Andy's cock fucking his face.

"Lube up my ass brother. Dennis wants to be the meat in a Maiki sandwich."

I must have had an incredulous look on my face. Dennis pulled his lips
from Andy's meat, smiled and nodded, before taking the cock back into his
mouth. It was then I noticed just how long his tongue is. I am sure he
can make it touch the end of his nose, I thought. I later learned he can
easily do that. No wonder Rachael dated him for so long.

I moved to the bed. Rolled a condom on Dennis' very respectable erection,
gave his scrotum a brief feel and placed a large blob of KY in Andy's anus.
I let my index finger slide in and out a few times making sure to tickle
his prostate in the process. Andy giggled and rolled off forcing Dennis to
the outside. He tucked his knees under himself and presented for pleasure.
Without saying a word Dennis took the KY added a few drops and prepared to
press his cock home. I rolled on a condom and slicked it up.

Dennis eased into Andy with little difficulty. Andy lowered his butt and
Dennis leaned over his back presenting to me. I do not like the idea of
just moving up behind a guy and shoving my cock in his ass unless invited.
Dennis looked at me with pleading eyes and I took my position. I pulled
his cheeks a little more apart and placed my erection at his entrance.
Andy wiggled his butt which caused Dennis' to wiggle a bit. I got the hint
and began pushing. Dennis relaxed and in I went. I mean I slid right in
until my balls were resting against his buttocks.

I know the boys had been having sex with each other. I know Andy is almost
as big as I am, they are both man sized. Even as stretched and frequently
entered as Andy is, I still need to go slow. Not Dennis. He just opens up
and in you go. He is tight and his sphincter clamped down holding me in
place. Dennis began slowly pulling back. I followed by pulling back.
Dennis pushed forward and I pushed forward. The man in the middle sets the
pace and the rhythm. It did not take long for Andy to start his usual low
muttering and cooing. Dennis is more vocal and he was getting it from two
sides. His groans and mutterings seemed to get louder with each thrust.

I reached around to fondle is nipples and began kissing his neck and nibble
on his earlobes. Andy brought his head up and Dennis bent over to kiss
him. We picked up speed. With the quickening pace Andy ejaculated. I
could tell from his low grunts. Dennis came next in another six or eight
strokes. He gave his signal by clamping hard on my cock and saying, "Yes"
several times, each time louder then before. Andy now lay flat on the bed
and Dennis was almost flat. I arched my back a bit and picked up the pace
for another ten to fifteen strokes and exploded. I am not too loud, I just
say, "Ahhhhh."

In the morning we changed our positions, this time I was in the middle with
my cock in Andy's ass and Dennis' in mine. Eric went into the bedroom
while we were all finishing breakfast. He let out a war hoop and
reappeared with a huge smile.

"Thanks, I think it's now very well broken in," he said, giving each of us
a good kiss. Then he held up the empty condom box and suggested Simon get
a refill. That brought one huge round of laughter.

On the way home in the morning I started to get the gist of just what all
this was about. Dennis admitted he was both crushed and totally turned off
girls, by what Rachael did. I had to ask just what that was. I couldn't
imagine, on the other hand I think I could. Had a few encounters with
manipulative, princess type girls, myself. It turned out to be what I
thought but not what I expected.

"Naomi and Rachael were best friends and you know, when the Naomi/Andy
split first surfaced, she tried to get me not to have anything to do with
Andy. I told her, Andy was my friend and I would stand by him. Naomi is
your friend and you need to stand by her. Those friendships are not about
us, you and me. She kind of agreed but cut me off from fucking her. Oh,
she sure liked oral sex and didn't want that to stop, no way. She never
was much of a cock sucker to start with. Anyway she made up all kind of
excuses and I was too stupid to see it.

When Andy and Naomi settled back into a polite friendship she let me fuck
her again, until just before final exams. Then all hell broke loose. Andy
and I had all that studying, so we didn't really notice until after Naomi
went to Texas. Naomi could not keep her mouth shut and she told Rachael
the real reason for this boarding school. Rachael cut me off again and
this time I cut her off too," Dennis explained.

All this time Andy just sat quietly in the passengers seat and let Dennis
talk. I could not see his face, so had no idea what his expression was. I
think had I, it would have frightened me.

"Rachael has now texted everyone in grade 11 and most of grade 12. They
all know why Naomi is away. They also believe, since Rachael said it, that
Andy wanted nothing to do with Naomi and that Andy has abandoned her,"
Dennis added.

"I told Dennis the truth and that has just made him even madder, since I
made him swear silence first," Andy interjected.

"And you know this gossip because?" I asked.

"Got copies of the text messages and voice recordings of what Rachael said
to me. It is bad stuff Mat. She said bad stuff about Andy, you and me.
Some of the stuff she said about me to others, is even worse. She is out
to destroy my reputation as the best cunt licker in the school, because I
wouldn't do what she wanted," Dennis said.

"And that is?" I asked.

"That is to not have anything to do with Andy and to support her claims
that Andy is a bad ass and you are no better. I got the proof Mat. Text
messages, emails, Twitters and voice recordings," Dennis assured me.

Dennis started to cry. I have never seen him so emotional about anything.
He sure was about this. Andy just shook his head, pulled out his cell
phone, "Carlton?" he said to me.

I nodded and he made the call.

Larry showed up and we drank coffee and I explained the background to him,
while Andy and Dennis assembled all their evidence on a memory stick.
Carlton arrived. The boys went for a swim while Larry, Carl and I reviewed
the "evidence."

Carl was more than pissed at Naomi. Not for telling her best friend. I
think we all expected she could not keep her mouth that shut. But for
confiding in such a manipulative, blabber mouth, as Rachael. In a small
town like this, all the local kids grow up together. They must, by grade
11, know who can be trusted and who can not.

Carl called Naomi's father and give him the bad news. Carl also suggested
he tell Naomi what Rachael had done and insist she cut off all contact with
her. Otherwise the terms of our agreement were considered breached and Mat
would cut off further funding. Larry went to fetch the boys. I poured a
stiff drink for myself.

"I think you boys need to fight fire with fire here. You have the proof so
just use Rachael's own words. She has cooked her own goose," Larry
suggested.

Dennis did not want to do this but he could see he had little choice. I
had to ask how he got all those recordings of her calls, many to other
people besides Dennis. "She would use my phone instead of her own. I guess
daddy restricted her minutes. She would borrow mine all the time. I didn't
even realize that mine was recording everything. Learned that the other
day when the 160 gb memory card got full. I know I had to work a lot of
extra hours for my dad to pay those bills too," Dennis informed us.

"Look Dennis, you have no real choice here but to publish her gossip and
back biting on one of those social networking kind of places. It is quite
obvious she has said harsh things about almost everyone but never to their
faces, you included. She had also said some very uncomplimentary things
about your ability to keep her satisfied; when placed along side her rather
disparaging remarks, will show her to be vindictive and two faced at the
least. Her parents were not all that much better than students in my
classes. She has not learned this behavior in a vacuum," Larry advised.

"Before you ask. No, you are not on shaky legal grounds here. Since the
phone was not hers and all calls in and out were being recorded, that's the
way the cookie crumbles," Carl said.

Larry added, "If you two are even moderately successful, those two girls
will be foolish to ever set foot in the school again. I think you boys may
wish to leak some of the facts. You spoke of an agreement Carl, I assume
the intent of confidentiality was to protect Naomi's reputation?"

We quickly brought Larry up to speed on the circumstances. It was clear
that Rachael thought Naomi had been foolish and naive to believe god would
protect her from getting pregnant. She even said so in several of the
messages.

"Dennis," I said, "I think you need to get your parents over here for a
little talk, don't you?"

Dennis' parents were most supportive. They did not like the idea of the
boys taking revenge, as it were, but they understood.

Later that night the three of us had a little talk about women. Now that
is the blind leading the lame, isn't it. They both had unfortunate
situations. Not unlike Eric, relationships aside.

"It's also obvious, given the steady rise in world population, it is a lot
more complex. We men are not without some culpability in all this. While
fucking the girls, we three were fucking each other too. The agendas of
young men like us and older men like Carl and Simon are just not the same
as girls and women. The way men look at the world is different too. Think
about it just a bit. Those differences are to a large part biological and
just as large a part social. That does not completely explain Rachael but
it goes a long way to explain Naomi.

The problem is, when we love or have that overwhelming attraction for
another, we are blind to his or her faults. Once we make a choice we fix
an emotional attachment to it. Some psychologists call it Cognitive
Dissidence. Women are like that too we we are talking about us men.

Before choice we can be more or less objective, looking at facts and
evaluating things scientifically or semi-scientifically. Once the choice
is made, the emotional attachment to that choice, even if the facts show it
to have been in error, prevent us from admitting we have made an error.
This is largely independent of gender although women seem to have a more
difficult time admitting long held beliefs or ideas are in error. We
rationalize, find excuses or just dismiss, that which does not support our
choice," I explained.

"What can we do Mat? Are we doomed?" Andy asked.

Dennis just sat quietly taking it all in.

"No we are not doomed. We need to recognize this in ourselves. We need to
admit to ourselves that perhaps the choice was not the best. Let's say you
really love your car but the thing is costing way too much money. You are
told to dump it but you love it and you choose it. You find yourself
rationalizing the cost. Boys, when that happens you suck it up and sell
the junker. Chalk it up to experience and try and do better next time.
Next time you find your girlfriend getting just a little to demanding or
manipulative, remember you can get your rocks off from your best male
friend. Not that it may not hurt a bit but you know you have nothing to
fear. Teens are fearful of being different, lonely or ostracized. Been
there, done that, don't need it," I waxed on.

"Maybe I should just avoid it in the first place, I mean girls," Dennis
said.

"Maybe, but remember, boys are not foolproof. Same sex relationships are
as prone to fail as heterosexual relationships. The one advantage male
relationships have is both are on a common hormonal, gender bias, basis.
We can more easily understand another male, that's all.

I think our needs and desires change with time as well. That is what often
happens with relationships that fail," I went on.

That night Dennis joined Andy and me in my bed. I have no idea what got
into him but it had and I'm glad. After the usual foreplay Dennis asked me
to roll over and take the position. I have no problem with this and did
so. While Andy paid attention to Dennis, he paid attention to me. Pulling
my cheeks apart I felt his mouth kissing it's various parts. That is okay
too. I was expecting a finger in my anus but what I got instead was a real
thriller. After kissing around it he began licking and kissing the door
itself. I could feel his tongue flicking across the rosebud and suddenly
he jammed the thing right in. I knew his tongue was long, firm and
educated, I had no idea it could just push in and do so far enough for me
to feel it moving inside.

The mirrors revealed what Andy was doing to him. Andy's hands were all
over the boy including his ass and his mouth was kissing and nibbling
Dennis' neck, ears, face and mouth. Andy took a medium sized dildo and
presenting it to Dennis' mouth the boy not only took it in but covered it
with salvia. Andy pressed it into his buddy's ass and turned it on.

Dennis took his tongue out, prepared his cock and slipped it home into my
anus. Oh yes! Once well in and settled in my ass, Dennis nodded and Andy
took out the dildo and replaced it with his own erection. I assume we were
all caught up in the ecstasy of the fuck, I know I was. So much so that I
remember nothing until Andy and Dennis woke me up, each one flicking their
tongues over one of my nipples and two experienced hands playing with my
genitals.

It was just after July 4th when the news came. We had all been at the
resort for a few days, returning in a most relaxed and jovial mood. I
found a cryptic but urgent message on my answering machine. It was from
the police in Key West, asking me to call them. Fortunately, Eric was
helping Simon unload things into their cabin while I placed that call. I
just knew this was anything but good news for Eric.

I may not think that much of his mother but she was his mother and he did.
We can't choose our parents, so we make the most of what ever it is life
hands us. He loved her and that was all that mattered to him.

I thought it best to get Andy and Grover in here. At least they had some
experience. So did I but they are much closer in age to Eric. I called
Larry and suggested he needed to come over asap, "It is about Sonja," I
said. I gave them the warning and called the others in. I am not good at
stuff like this. I wasn't sure if I should hold off until Larry came or
not. I didn't.

"Eric," I said, "I just got some news from Key West." He looked at me
trying to judge if it was good or bad news. "The Key West Police told me
Sonja is dead," I told him in the calmest voice I could muster.

"No, no," he screamed, shaking his head, "no, it must be a mistake!"

He had just spoken to her a few days ago, just before we went north. Eric
was crying and carrying on. Simon swept him up in his arms. No simple
task, given Eric's size. Everyone was looking at me for more information.

"The officer told me the Persephone exploded and all hands and passengers
were killed. It happened on July 1. Sonja, Gloria, the captain and two
crew members, four passengers were on board. It happened a few minutes
after moving away from the dock, while still in the harbor."

Andy and Grover were at his side stroking him and giving assurances. Simon
just held him. The boy wanted to strike out. He wanted to vent his anger
and frustration. It is very hard to do when someone is holding you and
others are kissing and and gently stroking your body.

Grover moved in and extended his hand to Eric. "Come with me brother."

Eric shook his head. He didn't know what to do or what he wanted to do.
Grover just kept his hand extended.

"Let him go, we need to move, he needs to move," Grover admonished.

Andy and Simon let him go and Grover just pulled Eric to his feet and out
the door. Andy was in hot pursuit.

We all talked. Larry arrived and he informed her family. I could see the
pain in his eyes as they listened.

"No, Eric does not need or want anything to do with you people. I just
thought you should know...Well it is 14 years too late for that and neither
of us are interested in your petty rationalizations. Sonja is dead and her
son is well cared for. No, Eric is anything but alone. If you feel that
way then I suggest you contact his lawyer....," Larry told them. He hung
up in a huff and turned to Carl.

"The guardianship agreement is iron clad and in this case substitutes for a
Will. You're it Mat, until he is 18, unless," Carl explained until Simon
interrupted.

"I want you to start adoption procedures asap."

"Don't you think you should ask Eric's opinion," I interjected.

"You not only should, but you must, Simon," Carl replied.

"Get started on the paperwork, Carl. I think we need to hold off for a
week or so before asking Eric's views. I am damn sure we better have all
our I's dotted and T's crossed but he needs some space to come to terms
with all this. You and Andy lost your parents unexpectedly, Mat. What is
your advice?" Simon asked.

"My advice, hum, Andy and I crawled into our intellectual hole. Remember,
Andy didn't even know them, except from some interviews. I had all the
arrangements and organizing to do. I think it was about a week later that
Andy just went to pieces. A lot like Grover, remember Leo," I said.

"Yes, the enormity came crashing down on the boy. I was close to him
physically and even closer emotionally after that. You just got to be
there for him Simon," Leo advised.

"Has anyone thought that Eric may not want to be adopted, having Mat as
guardian and Andy as foster brother?" Larry asked.

"Yes I did but then I remembered how often he has told me he wished I was
his dad. He said he always wanted a dad. He told me several times, being
my boy lover was almost as good..." Simon trailed off not completing that
thought.

Eric and the others were just coming into the room.

Leo, Carl and Simon were not able to get away for more then a day or two at
most. I am Eric's legal guardian so I had to accompany him to Florida.
Larry suggested she be cremated. Carl suggested we hire a local lawyer in
Key West to deal with everything and not spend the time and money on
travel. While this discussion want on Eric just climbed into Simon's lap
and clung to him.

I wanted no part of visiting Key West but did not say so. I would go if I
had to. I did not want Eric to know I was reluctant to take him. I think
Andy realized my position but he was not sure why. He did not know I had
ever been in southern Florida. The northern part he knew about. Larry
came through for me but I don't think he realized it.

"I don't see any purpose in Eric or anyone else traveling to Florida for
any other purpose than a vacation. If you want to travel why not come to
Arizona at Christmas, Eric?" Eric just clung all the harder to Simon.

Larry continued, "I have most of her possessions stored at my place and
little would have been accumulated in Key West anyway. Just have the stuff
shipped." Carl would get right on it in the morning.

Eric seemed ready to accept what ever we had to offer. That was all right,
with our numbers, his options and best interests were well examined. From
my selfish point of view, I was glad not to go. I had mulled it over and
formulated a plan. First to see if anyone who knew me would even be around
and second, if they were, to call in some favors to ensure no one would pay
any attention to me, in the event of recognition.

I figured that Eric having a legal guardian that was in agreement, the
adoption would go smoothly. Was I mistaken. Simon traveled to and from the
Point daily. That left Eric with his buddies Andy, Dennis and sometimes
Grover. He had playmates here, so over all the boy was sad but not alone.
We all saw to it, he was never allowed to become depressed.

Carl called about a week later. "Sonja's ashes and things would be shipped
up in a few days. The Florida courts had no interest in her estate. That
was the good news. The bad news was her parents were attempting to contest
the Will and the guardianship. I thought that strange. Carl was not
concerned. He did feel it necessary to present their request to see Eric,
to him. I guess Eric needs to face the situation and express himself. I
asked Larry for his opinion. It was what I thought, negative. He did
agree, Eric should be consulted. I called Carl and made an appointment.

I puzzled over this. Why would they come forward now that she was dead?
If they had been interested in the boy, why wait until now? When Larry came
to work we sat down over a beer to discuss the situation.

"I keep asking myself why now?" I said.

"I asked the same question, Mat. I don't know but like you suspect
something is behind this. Knowing those people, as I do, I keep coming
back to one or two possibilities. One is money. The other is power or
control. I think what pissed them off more than anything was Sonja's
independence. Either they refused to believe her, failed to support her,
or take any action, if it was incest," Larry said.

"I vote money as the prime mover." I called Carl and suggested he snoop
around as best he could on the money issue. Perhaps in the Wills of
recently deceased relatives. He would do that. Larry suggested he contact
the Florida people and see if anyone other then himself have sought a death
certificate. He should also go through the papers sent up with her effects
and see if she held any insurance policies. Carl thought that good.

I talked to Leon later and he suggested that if the grandparents pushed any
claim, that you demand genetic testing to determine his true parentage, to
see if the father is even still alive and or interested. He would have
first claim. "That is if you wish to contest the legality of our
documents." Unless of course the living father wishes to step forward. I
gave that some thought. We dug around and found several envelopes she must
have licked for a reliable sample. I sealed them in a zip-lock bag.

Eric was not all that keen on meeting the grandparents he had never known.

"What do they want Mat, to take me away?"

How the hell should I answer that.

"With the truth you amoral, atheist, with the truth," I thought.

"Eric son, we think that is just what they want to do. Don't worry, we
will fight them and Carl tells me our case is solid. The guardianship
agreement is iron clad."

"Why Mat, why would they do that, mom always told me they sent her away
while I was still in her womb and the only family I had left was Uncle
Larry?" Eric pleaded.

"That is true, Uncle Arthur and I were the only ones who would even talk to
your mother when she left their home and until now for that matter. Your
grandmother is Uncle Arthur's brother's daughter," Larry explained.

"Do you know who my father was?"

"No Eric, I don't, non of us knew. Perhaps your grandparents know but they
would never talk about it. Sonja just refused to say. Art and I
speculated in the early days, of course. We never knew for sure," Larry
told him.

"Mom told me you and uncle Arthur took her in and she or we lived with you
until I was almost two."

"That too is true and very accurate. I think we had a mini birthday party
for you just after Sonja and baby Eric moved to Stevens Point."

"She told me that you and Art helped to support us until she found a good
enough job to do it herself."

"That too is true."

"I think Simon wants to adopt me."

"I think so too, he will ask you first of course," I said.

"What is he waiting for?"

"He wants to be sure you don't feel under any pressure, you know being a
new orphan and all. Why don't you tell him, you know this new orphan that
is looking to be adopted, if he is interested," I said.

The kid's face lit up and he ran out to tell Andy and Dennis what he would
do, as soon as Simon showed up. I could see Andy and Dennis talking to him
in a very animated way.

Larry stayed on for supper and helped me cook. He wanted to see Simon's
reaction. It was as predicted. Not as I predicted it but as Andy and
Dennis had. Just before dinner Eric walked up to Simon and in front of all
said, "Simon, I know this recent orphan that is looking to be adopted, do
you know anyone looking to adopt him?"

Simon almost fell on the floor. He grabbed Eric and kissed him several
times dancing around the kitchen.

"I'd take that as yes Eric," Andy said.

"Hum, that would mean I am sleeping with my father, is that incest?" We
all howled with laughter and no one bothered to answer.
