			 Billy's Dreams Come True
				    3-b

At last Tommy arrived and Billy greeted him as nonchalantly as
possible. His mother and father left and the boys were once again left
alone to do as they wished. Tommy would be staying the night and then
tomorrow evening, Billy's parents would take him home. "Surely he can
handle one night with me right?" Billy thought to himself as he led the boy
to his room to deposit his clothing.

"I hope you brought your swim suit." Billy said as he turned to smile at
Tommy.

"Uh, yeah." Tommy said slightly distracted.

"Dude, you will not believe what we are getting this summer." Billy had a
huge grin on his face.

Tommy only waited patiently as he watched the excitement on Billy's face.

"Can you believe that we are getting an in-ground pool?" Billy smiled even
wider.

"No shit?" Tommy said feeling Billy's excitement.

"No shit." Billy said. "My dad says its part of my birthday. Man, you have
to come over and swim this summer."

"Hell yeah I will. Man, you're so lucky. I wish I had a pool." Tommy said
this as if he were unhappy but the smile never left his face.

Billy led Tommy down the stairs to see his new video game.

"I just wish we could have had these things in the old place. I'd much
rather be living near you than having to only hang out every few months."

"Yeah." Tommy said.

"Well, you'll be over more often this summer won't ya?"

"Sure." Tommy said, slightly distracted as he noticed the video game lying
on the table where Billy had strategically placed it. "Fight night round
two. Awesome. I can't believe you haven't opened it yet. I loved the first
one."

"Yeah, I just got it and I remembered how much we used to love playing the
first one. We are sooo going to jam on this tonight. I wish you were
staying for the weekend."

"Well, we're driving to myrtle beach to see my grandmother on Sunday. We'll
be there all week. But we still have tonight. Maybe when I get back I could
come for a weekend or something. Are you guys doing anything for spring
break?"

"Naw." Billy said dully. "We never do anything or go anywhere
anymore. Seems like all my mom and dad do is work. Even when I was sick
that day, my mom still went to work. I remember when she used to smother
me." Billy walked out to the deck feeling down.

Tommy stood in the den not knowing what to do. His friend was suddenly
bummed out and he could sympathize. Billy had this nice new house and all
these games, but he knew he must be lonely with no friends. Tommy and Billy
were best friends, but Tommy still had friends back home, Billy seemed
reduced to only the friends at school. Tommy couldn't imagine what it must
be like to be stuck here all the time with no one to hang with. Not that
Tommy had much time for friends anyway. Between dance recitals and various
modeling shows. Tommy had four sisters and his free time seemed to be
consumed with their hobbies. Tommy didn't really have any hobbies other
than swimming. He was crap at sports and his favorite two past times were
swimming and video games. He had found that sleeping was a close third
these days. Tommy walked out to the back deck to comfort his friend, though
he did not really know what to do.

Tommy walked behind his friend. As he stood there he was suddenly aware of
how much taller he was than Billy. Billy was almost nine months older than
he was but Tommy was already two or three inches taller than him.

"Maybe I'll be able to come over more this summer, when you get the pool
and all." Tommy said causing Billy to turn to him.

Billy looked at his friend; He looked up into Tommy's sapphire blue
eyes. He was suddenly overcome with the urge to lean up and kiss the
boy. He looked at Tommy standing there with his messy blond locks and that
bronze tan that never seemed to go away. Billy smiled at his friend, he
knew in his heart that Tommy would still be too busy to come by as often as
he would have liked him to.

"Hey, you wanna get in the hot tub for a little while?" Billy smiled at the
boy.

"What about the game?"

"We have all night for that. Mom left me money again. We should chill for a
bit and then run to the store, and you know what that means man... Junk
food!"

Tommy smiled at his friend's enthusiasm.

The two boys ran up the stairs to get changed into their swim
trunks. Tommy assumed his usual spot in the bathroom as Billy changed in
his room. He was already changed as Tommy came into his room and dropped
his clothes onto his bag. Billy watched as the socks and underwear fell on
top. He was overcome with the urge to grab the underwear and take a deep
sniff. As hard as he was trying to restrain himself. Billy could not help
the way he felt about his friend. Tommy turned and left the room and Billy
followed closely behind him, watching his butt the whole way.

As the two boys sat in the hot tub, Tommy started to giggle.

"What?" Billy said feeling as if he had been left out of a good joke.

"Man. I was just thinking about last time I stayed here and you lost that
bet. You had to wear one of your mom's dresses. That was so funny."

Billy smiled. "Yeah, and remember how mad you got when I pulled the back of
your pants down?" Billy said returning the rib.

"Whatever, that was pretty gay." Tommy said with a slight giggle.

Billy was offended but he did not feel that Tommy was trying to be cruel;
he was just ribbing him a bit.

"Well, I won't lose the next bet. And we are so betting tonight."

"Whatever man." Tommy said smiling. "You have never been able to hang with
me on fight night. You'll lose again. And this time it will be even more
humiliating." He smiled as he laid his head back and relaxed.

"Whatever you say loser." Billy said giving Tommy a soft kick.

The boys sat in silence until Billy suggested they get dressed and run to
the store now, so that they could get down to the video game.
