Chapter 13

Raul and his family

	At 6:30 pm the boys and I walked into the restaurant and I said
"the table in the kitchen please" the Matra' D said "yes sir" and we walked
to the kitchen and the table was a little more rustic than the dining room
tables and on a raised dias that gave us a good view of the kitchen and the
smells were outstanding as I walked in Don came to me and the boys and said
"MJ I am glad you are all right and that your boys are well and happy the
boys were discussing the menu and Erik said "please let me order" and in a
few minutes we were looking at a soup that looked great and tasted
fantastic it was a tomato bisque with diced fresh Roma tomatoes and it had
a hint of garlic.

	We ate and ate and I continued to look at all of the boys and as I
have said in the past it don't get much better than this, when we finished
individual portions of baked Alaska I was groaning from eating to much but
I didn't say a word until we entered our rooms for the night and then I
said to Bobby "all it would have taken was an after dinner mint and I would
have exploded" he giggled and said "please don't make me laugh or I will be
sick" all of the boys came to me and in essence said the same thing that
Bobby said as we stretched out in bed getting ready for sleep "dad I never
thought about how much you protect all of us from the homophobic bastard's
in this world" I looked at him and said "first please watch your profanity
2nd that is a fathers job to protect his children, and in many ways we have
to protect our children from them selves, and in doing that protect them
from others, that would do them harm".

	In the morning the sun came up and seeing that the rooms were on
the east side of the hotel we were waken with a start and after I had
coffee I left Bobby, Tim and Erik in bed asleep and ordered coffee at the
breakfast bar in the pool area as I sat and had coffee Lou arrived with his
boy and I took the boy up to my room as he still looked sleepy and after he
stripped to his shorts and T-shirt slipped him in with Bobby and as I
rejoined Lou I said "Bobby is in for a shock when he wakes up and finds
Paul in bed with him" Lou looked up at the ceiling and said "I feel sorry
for Bobby as Paul has been horny and wanted sex before we left the house,
but he is as gentile as a lamb" I looked at Lou and said "a horny lamb, Oh
well" Lou continued to tell me his progress and he said "Bill using the
Halon® fire suppression system had a premonition of an other attack by

said "lets roll the boys out and see what we can do to help Maria the
mother of the boy that was hurt yesterday" I walked to the desk and asked
if Maria was in work today, the desk clerk said "that lazy Cuban bitch she
is in and I would fire her if I could seeing that she was a no show
yesterday" I looked at him and said "where is the regular desk clerk" the
young man that I hadn't met yet said "that is none of your business" I was
a little upset and said "do you know who I am" he looked at me and said "no
and to cut you short I don't really give a dam" at that moment the senior
desk clerk came up and said "good morning Mr. McMasters are your temporary
rooms OK" I looked at the other clerk and realized that he was holding his
breath and I said "he is fired and I want him replaced before the sun sets
today and the boys will be down in a few minutes have them meet me out at
my car" I walked to the front door and all I could hear was something about
that he didn't know who I was and all I wanted to know was about that Cuban
slut that was a no show yesterday, the senior clerk said "he is the owner
and you are fired, plus don't ask for a letter of reference as he will not
give you one, and neither would I"

	I was very pissed off and I turned to the desk and said to the
senior clerk "I want him off the property now" the senior clerk said "Yes
sir" at that minute the mouth that didn't shut up said "Bill was a nicer
boss" I answered "and he is dead and I am the boss now get out" and if I
don't will you call the cops, before I could answer a voice behind me said
"he don't have to we are here all ready" I spun and looked at Dave and said
"would you escort him off the property" the mouth said "not necessary I am
gone" the senior clerk said "and your final check will be mailed to you"
the smart ass threw a one finger salute and was gone.

	As Lou, Dave and I walked to the monster Tommy T came towards me
and said "MJ is that the way you wanted it" I immediately looked at the SUV
and said as I realized that all of the PUC numbers were gone per my
request, I walked to Tommy and said "Thanks you are the man" as I shook his
hand I slipped him $20 and he blushed and started to give it back and I
said "if you give it back I will be insulted" he smiled and turned away and
he was whistling an old sea chantey as I walked to the truck I called the
hotel and was connected to the rooms and Bobby answered and when he knew it
was me said "I will get you for putting that horny little brat in bed with
me because of him I had to remake the bed with clean sheets and this room
has to be fumigated, by the way where are you" waiting for you, Tim, Erik
and Paul in the parking lot so we can go to breakfast" within 5 minutes the
doors to the hotel opened and my boys and Paul came to the truck and we
went to the Waffle House and they inhaled enough food to feed an army
division I put them in there own booth and told the waiter to feed the wild
monkeys what ever they wanted and they did eat and considering that they
are only growing boys I made no comments and I told both Dave and Lou what
had transpired yesterday in reference to Raul and the one I killed both of
them said "how can we help" I said "#1 don't treat him different he is not
glass but he is a little fragile but if you let him know you know he will
be very upset and he will not trust me any more and he needs me and the
boys to reinforce his life style, as he is gay" as we continued on the boys
were playing a little rough and Paul could give and take with equal vigor
as I slowed down and pulled up at Raul's house I noticed him and his
brother playing kick ball in the front yard and there little sister was as
happy as a clam cheering for both of them my monsters climbed out and Paul
caught a stray ball and within a minute there was 6 boys that split into
two teams going at it with no holds barred when Raul spotted me he ran to
me but Dave prevented him from hitting me too hard and he said to the boy
"remember he was shot yesterday" Raul's eyes went to his shoes and he said
"I'm sorry MJ I forgot" I leaned down kissed his cheek and said "I still
love you" as he stood there he said "are all of these yours" I answered
"yes, all but the moneky called Paul" and Paul held up his hand and I said
"HIM" Lou is his Dad and Lou went and stood behind Paul, as we settled Tony
his dad came to the porch and said "Raul who are your friends" the boy
turned and said "this is MJ the man that saved Mom, and my brother and
sister" the man smiled and said "I may never be able to thank you but I
wonder why you are here" it was my turn to smile so I said "I promised Raul
that I would come by with my sons and they jumped in to a kick ball that
was in process" he walked to me and he stuck his hand out to shake it and I
took the shake with my left hand and as I did Raul said "Dad he cant use
his right hand he was shot saving little Mary" and the little girl came to
me and I squatted down and she ran to my left side and I kissed her cheek
and she said "he killed the bad man that hurt Raul and saved me" I looked
at Raul and he was upset by what his sister said but he could live with it,
I added "he rode to the hospital with me and he wanted to be sure that I
was `OK' then Det. Dave Palmer of the Largo P.D. brought him home" his Dad
looked at me and said "he wanted to go to your place" I was ready for that
and I said "I promised that I would take him to swim at my place and seeing
that I always keep my promises I came to see if he wanted to come over
while I had all of the boys with me" he smiled and had a happy calm look on
his face, he said "can I dad" and I added "all of you are invited and you
can come home with your wife plus I can stand the tab at the pool snack
bar" that did it and his Dad said "every one get your Bathing suits" Raul
looked at me and smiled.
	Due to the fact that Tony had let Maria take the car this morning
we were sandwiched into the monster but considering that we had 3 adults
and 7 children we were very comfortable when we arrived at the hotel I
asked the desk clerk what rooms Maria was working he smiled and said "call
her on her cell phone and then you will know" Tony said "she don't have a
cell phone" the desk clerk smiled and said "since I made her the head of
housekeeping she gets a company cell phone" Tony stood with his mouth
hanging open and I said "call her and I will take the call here on the
house phone" in a few seconds the phone rang and I picked it up "good
morning Maria this is MJ I have some one here to talk to you" I handed the
phone to Tony and as I did I stepped away and I said you boys can get
changed in my rooms I looked at Bobby and said take them with you and help
them to change I held Mary and said "wait and your Mommy will change you"
she said "but I want to go with my brothers and change" I smiled and looked
at Tony as the call ended he came to me and said "you didn't have to give
her a better job and more money because you felt sorry for my family" I
looked at him closely and said "#1 I don't hire or fire except on special
circumstances, so if you want to take up your Maria new job you have to
take it up with my senior manager and desk clerk, it was his decision to
give her the job and the raise #2 I want only the best working for me and
that goes for gardeners to managers and that includes maids, I think she
understands much better than you do that I reward loyalty but I will not
stand for disregard for a persons rights, and at this time we should join
the boys as I can see that they are at the swimming pool" I lead Tony to
the pool via the employees hallways as we arrived I saw Raul and the
bathing suit he was wearing was one that I had purchased for Tim and he
looked good in it considering that it left little to the imagination as to
what his anatomy looked like, as he waved Tim tackled him and they both
ended in the pool Tony looked in horror as his son was in the pool and as
he watched Raul ducked Tim and swam away Tony started to laugh and as we
watched Maria came to Tony and took Mary with her to get the girl dressed
and I lead Tony to the snack bar and the counter man served up coffee and
some mini apple turnovers as we sat in the shade I asked Tony what he did
for a living he said "I work as a car porter on the trains from here to New
York and that way I can be home every weekend and the pay and tips are very
good" I smiled and said "your wife is the best housekeeper that my manager
has ever seen and he made the decision to give her the head of house
keeping, and I concur with his decision" Tony asked "do you know what
happened to Raul and how he was hurt as he will not tell me what happened"
I looked at the ground and said "yes I know but if I am going to be of help
I must keep his secret in here" (pointed to my heart) Tony looked at me and
said "are you going to talk to him" I looked away and as I looked back
there was a tear on my cheek "Tony I have to be available to him and when
he is ready he will talk to me and I can help him, but there is no specific
time frame and he must have trust in me so if I don't want to discuss it
with you do understand" Tony shook his head and said "do you want him to
live with you for the time being" I answered "I don't think that will help
but if he wants to see me he can come in with Maria and he may stay a day
or more at that time" Tony looked at me and said "if I stay home do you
think he will feel protected" I shook my head and said "you are the only
one that can answer that question but in my opinion, he may feel that he at
fault for you staying home to protect him and that will make him feel
guilty for what ever happened yesterday" Tony agreed and he said "I will
continue with my work and leave the work with Raul to you"I shook his hand
and said "I think that is for the best".

	As we sat at the snack bar one at a time all of the boys came to me
and said "I'm thirsty" so I handed them each a bottle of flavored water
seeing that they were plastic bottles the pool was safe when Raul came to
me I handed him two and said "Give one to your brother" he giggled and ran
to his brother and as he handed him a bottle he pointed at me and said
something the little one waved and mouthed thank you, Tony was watching
what went on and said "they all love you and they at the same time respect
you" I looked at him and said "they have all been hurt at one time or
another and I helped them and they would lay down there lives for me and I
would do the same for them" I turned and looked at the boys and said "and
the owner of this hotel was my son before someone killed him because they
didn't like his lifestyle" Tony looked at me and said "that is why I ran
away from Cuba, now I love this country and family, and I want nothing but
the best for them" I looked at my boys and I could see they were tired so I
gave Bobby a high sign and he came to me and I said "collect your brothers
and Paul and hit the showers and get some sleep, with out a word he
collected the boys and Paul and were gone in 2 minutes Raul looked at me
and I beckoned him over as I did I said to Tony "you and your sons are on
your own and Maria will be off in 15 minutes and then you and your family
can go home with her, I am going up with my sons and I need a little rest
too" I shook his hand and I spotted Lou and I said "I sent the horny lamb
up stairs to clean up with the others because they are tired" Lou said "I
will get him and we will go home" I smiled and said "I'm tired too".

	As I walked to the elevator Raul came to me with his brother and
said "my brothers and my clothing is in your suite" I looked behind him and
said "is your dad coming" he said "no he wants me to get Robert and my self
dressed and meet him at the car" I lead him into the lift and we went to
the 3rd floor we walked to the rooms and as I opened the door I could hear
the boys come and going in and out of the shower and I yelled "Raul and his
brother needs to get cleaned up dressed, and down to there parents Bobby
took Robert and said I will help you in this bathroom and Paul who was
standing with a towel around his waist said "Raul come with me as the
shower in the other bath is a good one" he looked at me and I said "go with
Paul as I cant get my dressing wet and he is as good as you can get" I gave
Paul a look that would kill and he shook his head and took Raul into the
other rooms as they went Tim came to me and said "Paul knows that you are
pissed about his shenanigans earlier and he wants to make up for it, but I
will help him so I can shower after Raul" a minute later Paul came out and
finished getting dressed as he did he said "I'm sorry for my actions
earlier today and I will never do that again" I looked unhappy at him and
said "Lou and I have already discussed your action this morning and if it
ever repeats you will never be invited again now finish getting dressed" he
walked into the other room with his tail between his legs and as I stood
there Tim call out MJ can you take Raul so I can finish my shower" I opened
the bathroom door and Raul came out in all his glory and when he saw me he
wrapped a towel around his waist so I said "why the sudden modesty I saw
all of you yesterday so there is nothing you have I haven't seen" as he
finished drying him self I dried his hair and quickly brushed it and he was
reluctant to pull on his shorts so I helped him and as he did I caressed
his crotch and his cock and balls and he said "do we have the time to do
something", I looked at him and said "we have all the time in the world, we
will be together from time to time, and when my arms is healed we can have

in ready to go so I took them to Tony.

	Maria said I think I can eliminate there showers tonight as they
look like they are ready to go to church, I looked at her and Tony and I
said "you have two good boys there and I would be happy to have them over
any time during the summer so they could go swimming plus I will be living
closer to you in a few weeks and that house has a pool" at that I swatted
both of them in the butt and said "time to go home your mother is tired as
she has been working all day" after they drove out I walked back in and as
I passed the front desk I noticed a young woman working and she asked could
I help you I smiled and said "not really all I am doing is returning to my
room, and in case you don't know I am the owner, MJ McMasters" her eyes
opened wide and she said "thank you for firing the graveyard desk clerk he
was useless piece of trash, and I for one wont miss him" I smiled and
continued up the stairs to the elevator and some rest, and when I got to
our rooms the boys asked if they could go up to the old apartment and see
if they could salvage some of there clothing, I agreed but not until the
morning, and I would go with them, as I laid down I couldn't get
comfortable and Bobby, Tim and Erik came to me and as gently as possible
helped me to get undressed and with some maneuvering got me into bed and
with every pillow finally got me comfortable, I immediately fell into a
deep and dreamless sleep, and the sunrise and Tim cuddled in front of me
finally woke me softly.
