			   CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE

Once our little love fest settled down, I asked Ronni to see if his
friends would like something to drink while I scouted out what to get for
dinner. He said he'd get their drinks then join me in the kitchen.

"Honey," said gently, "you need to be with your friends. Don't forget
that they're guests I our home and you need to be the host to them and make
them feel comfortable."

"You are right," he replied with a sigh. "I just want to be with you
all the time, and I forget that I should be with them."

"That's ok," I said, pulling him into a hug. "I want to be with you
all the time, too, but there will be times like this when we will each have
to do different things. Why don't you see if they'd like to watch TV or
maybe play one of those board games in the closet there. Or maybe they'd
just like to talk and spend time with you. Your lola will be here soon and
maybe their brothers too. This may be the only time you have for a while
today to spend time with just them."

"Ok," he said, giving me an extra squeeze and a kiss on the cheek.

While he went to ask them if they'd like something to drink, I headed
to the ref to see what I could put together for dinner for up to seven
people, five of which were teen eating machines. I silently thanked Josie
once again for her thoughtfulness when she did my shopping, as I found a
package of 24 pre-formed hamburgers in the back of the freezer. I pulled
these out then looked to see if there were any buns to put them on. Not
finding any, I turned to where the boys were chatting and laughing and
caught Ronni's attention. He excused himself from his friends and was soon
at my side.

"Do you know if there is a store or bakery near here where we can get
hamburger rolls," I asked.

"Oo, yes," he replied. "There is a bakery very close to here, maybe 5
minutes."

"Great," I said. "Why don't you and the boys go there and get 2 dozen
hamburger rolls and see if there's maybe a nice cake or something like that
for desert. Let those two help pick it out." I pulled my wallet out and
extracted a 1000 peso note. "That should more than cover the cost. Maybe
get a treat for the three of you for a snack for later after everyone else
has left."

"The treat I want later is you," he growled, with a lascivious wink.

Groping his butt and kissing his nose, I growled back, "Anything for
you, Sexy!" He fondled my crotch, quickly scampering toward his friends
before I could retaliate. Thankfully, this all took place with the kitchen
counter between us and his friends, but I'm certain they knew something was
going on, as they were also giggling as Ronni came up to them. He
explained what we needed, and they were very eager to get going since
they'd have a say in the choice for a dessert. As they headed toward the
door, I stopped them. "If you pass anyplace that sells it, you might want
to also get some ice cream to go with whatever you get at the bakery.
We're almost out of the stuff here." This got even more smiles from the
trio.

"Thank you," enthused Paulo, who was practically salivating in
anticipation while Mario nodded his agreement.

Just as they reached for the door, I stopped them again when I said,
"And don't forget the main reason you're going....the hamburger rolls.
I'll get the grill set up while you're gone." Ronni stuck his tongue out
at me a giggled. "Don't be pointing that thing at me unless you intend to
use it," I laughed. He advanced toward me, wagging his tongue lewdly but
couldn't keep up the façade. Just before he reached me, he burst
out laughing, joined by the other two. He gave me a quick hug and peck on
the lips and then headed out the door, the three of them laughing at
Ronni's antics. I smiled to myself, once again thanking all the Powers
That Be for bringing him and his heart into my life.

I then turned my attention to the frozen patties and found to my
delight that they were individually frozen and easy to separate. I had
been fully prepared to pry them apart and hadn't looking forward to doing
that. I'd wounded my hand more than once doing something similar to frozen
foods. I thrashed around under the counter until I found a baking sheet
and after separating the patties, placed the individuals on it to help
speed the thawing process. The burgers, plus a nice green salad and chips
would make a decent meal. Now it was time to drag out the grill and hope
that there was enough fuel for it. I didn't even think of that when I sent
to the boys off on their errand. When I hauled it out of the storage shed,
I noticed that it was a gas-type grill, and there was tank that was
half-full according to the gauge that needed to be hooked up to it. As I
was in the process of doing this, I heard the unmistakable roar of a
motorcycle as it came down the street with the sound of downshifting as it
got closer. Sanie had arrived! I quickly finished getting the tank hooked
up to the grill and went to the gate to meet her and got there just as she
was hanging her helmet on the handle bars, shaking out her hair. She was
dressed in a simple printed shirt with her denim jacket over that, a pair
of jeans and sneakers. Seeing me approach, she turned, opening her arms in
invitation, and I was soon enveloped in her warm and loving embrace. I
felt such peace and love with her arms wrapped around me, very much the
same as when being held by Ronni. Hmm, I thought to myself. Must be a
family thing. Releasing me, she stepped back and gazed into my eyes,
looking past what the rest of the world sees and deep onto my soul. A slow
smile spread across her face, and she slightly nodded her head.

"So good, so beautiful," she whispered reverently through her smile.
Placing her hands on either side of my head, she guided my head low enough
so she could kiss first my forehead, then both cheeks, her eyes never once
leaving mine. She held me captive in her gaze for what seemed minutes but
was most likely only a few seconds when we heard the carefree laughter and
chatter of Ronni and his mates as they came around a corner across the
street. Noticing us, he hollered out "Lola", and, looking out for any
traffic, which there was none, darted across the street with his friends in
hot pursuit. Sanie released me and turned to her grandson, wrapping him in
a loving embrace as Paulo and Mario came to stand by me, smiling at the
scene before them. Sanie then came to each of the two boys, and placing
her hands on their shoulders, kissed them each fondly on the forehead. The
boys were obviously pleased with this attention and each gave here a gentle
one-armed hug in return as best they could since each had a bag in one
hand. Ronni had taken my hand in his and asked his lola if she was ready
to go into the house. She pointed to a small gym bag on the back of her
bike, and Mario handed the grocery bag he was holding to Paulo, and went to
retrieve Sanie's bag. With that we all trooped to the house, Ronni
chatting away with his grandmother, possibly with something about the
unpleasant incident at the Martinez' the other night, as I saw Sanie's
expression darken only momentarily, and with an almost visible shudder, she
pushed those sad memories to the back of her mind. With a gentle smile,
she said something softly to Ronni who nodded his head.

Reaching the door, we all stepped inside, the boys putting the
groceries on the counter. Sanie took her gym bag from Mario and headed
toward the cr, presumably to change clothes. Ronni confirmed this as we
put the groceries away. The buns he had gotten for the hamburgers looked
so much better than the pre-packaged stuff in the stores back home, and
with a flourish, Paulo revealed a delicious-looking chocolate cake from one
of the other bags. I don't know what it is about Filipinos and chocolate,
but these three were almost drooling so heavily, I thought I'd have to get
out a mop! They had even gotten chocolate ice cream, which Ronni put into
the freezer before coming back and wrapping his arms around me.

"I know it sounds stupid," he said quietly, his head on my shoulder,
"but I missed you when I was gone. I make everyone hurry so we can get
back here."

"That's not stupid at all," I replied, kissing the top of his head. "I
missed you too, but your lola kept me company until you came back." He
turned to his friends and asked them what they'd like to drink, grabbing
the two requested cokes and water for himself. I was happy to see that
when given a choice, he'd choose the healthier option most of the time.
Right then, there was a knock at the door, and Ronni answered it to find
Jareth and Dhomz standing there, Jareth carrying a small bag with
presumably clothes for our two overnight guests. Once the greetings were
out of the way, Ronni got a drink for the two newcomers, and the boys
retreated to the salla with my love showing them the way after a gentle
reminder from me about his host duties. I turned my attention to the
burgers and found that they were almost completely thawed. It was now time
to figure out what else we'd be having with them, and I decided to keep it
simple. There were bags of several kinds of chips, and those, along with a
nice salad would round out the main meal, with the cake and ice cream for
dessert. At this point, Sanie returned dressed in a colorful peasant-style
blouse and long ankle-length skirt, her feet now sporting sandals. She
stopped and greeted the boys before heading in my direction, with Ronni at
her side as translator, I'm guessing. I told her how nice she looked in
her outfit and asked what she'd like to drink with Ronni translating. With
a smile as acknowledgement of my compliment, she said that if I had rum and
coke, that she would like that. I got out two glasses and the required
ingredients, adding ice from the ref, and proceeded to make Sanie and
myself a cocktail. Handing hers to her. We went into the salla where the
boys made room for us, Sanie in a chair facing the sofa, and me on the sofa
with Ronni quickly planted on my lap, wriggling around until he was assured
that my cock was wedged in the crack of his ass. The little shit!! I knew
what he was doing. He was going to do his best to get me aroused while
having our social time with his lola and friends, and frankly, it doesn't
take much to get aroused when I'm around him. But turnabout is fair play,
and I knew a few things I could do to him that would go unnoticed by the
others yet would guarantee to get him hard in a heart beat, although given
his age and very healthy libido, it wouldn't take much.

We had a good time talking together. It was good to get to know
Jareth and Dhomz better. I had only seen them that first day on the beach.
They were two years older than Ronni and the other two, and at that age,
those two years can mean all the difference between the innocent joys of
childhood and the siren call of adulthood. I was glad to see that with
these two older teens that they seemed to have an easy-going and loving
relationship with not only their respective siblings, but the others as
well. I guess that came from growing up together in close proximity. The
conversation was mostly in English for my benefit with Ronni translating
for Sanie, although to their credit, they switched to Tagalog occasionally
for Sanie's benefit with me getting the translation from my love. Every so
often, Ronni would squeeze his butt cheeks together, stimulating my cock,
which had been hard since shortly after he sat down. I was surreptitiously
stroking his neck just behind his ear while my hand rested "innocently" on
his shoulder. This was one of his hot spots, and I knew that it would have
the desired effect on his nether regions. This was proven correct when I
noticed that his squirming on my lap was more to cover his growing erection
than it was to stimulate me. Leaning forward, I whispered, "Truce?" in his
ear and got a slight nod and sigh in reply, and I think I also detected a
soft chuckle too. He leaned back onto my chest and put his head on my
shoulder next to mine. I wrapped an arm around his chest and kissed the
side of his head before turning my attention back to the conversation.
Dhomz and Jareth had been telling Sanie about their latest soccer game they
played, so it looked like no one noticed the exchange between Ronni and me.
Wrong!! Mario and Paulo were both grinning at us, and Mario even winked.
I winked back and shrugged my free shoulder before turning back to the
others. We talked for about another ten minutes when I decided it was time
to start putting dinner together. Letting Ronni know what I was doing, I
told him he should stay here and be host while I got things together in the
kitchen. Mario offered to come help, and I had a sense that there was
something he wanted to talk to me about without the others hearing. I
nodded my approval, and after freeing my lap of 110 pounds of love, stood
up and with excuses to our guests, headed to the kitchen with Mario right
behind.

I went first to the ref and got out the ingredients for a green salad
and the butter to put on the rolls before heating them on the grill.
Before putting the salad together, I decided I'd better start the grill to
make sure it worked as well as getting it heated up for grilling. As I
went out the door, Mario was right at my heels, obviously anxious to talk.
Once the door was closed on the rest of them, I turned and put my hands
gently on his shoulders and looked at his troubled eyes.

"What's on your mind?" I asked. "It looks like something's bothering
you."

"I am so scared, Phil," he said, his eyes starting to water. "This is
so big for Paulo and me. We cannot help how we feel about each other, and
we are afraid of what others will say." With this, he surprised me by
wrapping his arms around me and sobbing quietly. Wrapping my arms around
him too, I just held him, lightly rubbing his back for a few minutes while
he got this out of his system. When I sensed he was calmed down some, I
pulled back from him so I could look at him while I talked.

"Being gay isn't an easy way to live for anybody," I began. "There
will always be others who will look down on people like you and me, and
some of them might say things to hurt us and some who might even want to
hurt us physically. That's why it's so important to have people who will
support you and love you no matter what. The most important of those is
your family. They might not feel right about you being gay at first, but
when they realize you are still the same son they have raised and loved,
your being gay won't be that important to them. Yes, they will still have
their doubts and will worry about you, but that's something all parents do.
I think when you get to talk to Lola Sanie, you'll see that there are
already people who love and accept you just as you are. She'll help you
with your parents if she thinks it's needed, and she has a lot of influence
around here. And you will always have a safe place here with Ronni and me.
You and Paulo are welcome to come here any time, day or night."

"Thank you, Phil," he said. "Ronni is so very lucky to have you as
his love. You have been so good to him, his family and to Paulo and me. I
was really ok about talking to Lola Sanie until our brothers came. I
cannot speak of this with them just yet. I need to have my parents know
first, but I also feel bad cuz Jareth is also more like a good friend than
brother. I feel I need to tell him about me before I tell my parents. I
just do not know what I should do." Just then, the door opened, and the
subject of our conversation came hesitantly toward us.

"Is everything ok?" he asked, noticing the tear tracks on his
brother's face.

"Oo, yes," said Mario, clearly more than a little embarrassed to be
caught in a moment of perceived weakness by his older brother. "I just
have much on my mind and was talking to Phil."

"You know you can always talk to me, don't you?" asked Jareth, putting
his hand on his brother's back. "We always used to talk, but you kinda
stopped this year. I miss our talks."

" I know," said Mario. "I miss them too, but I think you may get too
old to have a kid like me tell you stuff."

"I will never be to old for you," he said, putting his hand on the
back of Mario's neck and rubbing softly. "I know my other friends say they
have a problem with their younger brothers and sisters, but I think you and
I are different. You are like my best friend, and I miss you." At this,
Mario turned to Jareth and threw his arms around him sobbing. Jareth
returned the hug just as fiercely, the tears starting to course down his
cheeks at the pain and confusion he could sense in his younger brother.
When they had both calmed down some, Jareth stroked Mario's back, and said,
"Is this all because you and Paulo are gay and you think I will hate you
for it?" Mario's head flew off his brother's shoulder and he looked at him
with astonishment still tinged with fear.

"How you know this?" he managed to gasp.

"Both Dhomz and I have seen how you and Paulo are with each other," he
said, still gently rubbing Mario's back. Don't worry, though," he added,
as we could both see Mario tense up. "You two do not do anything that
others would notice except two close friends. It's only cuz I've known you
since you wore diapers that I can see something special happening. Dhomz
too."

I had been sort of standing to the side, keeping my hand on Mario's
arm to let him know I was there for him. I was surprised, pleased and
relieved to hear Jareth use the word "special". It looks very likely that
Mario is now out to one of his family and that person is totally ok with
everything. I decided it was time for me to step back and let the two
brothers have their moment. Turning to the grill, I turned on the gas from
the tank and pushed the automatic starter, keeping my fingers crossed that
our good luck was going to continue. With a pop and a whoosh, the burners
ignited, and I closed the lid to let the heat help clean the grill top. I
turned to see Jareth and Mario, still holding each other with tears and
soft smiles on both their faces. Everything was going to be ok. Giving
Mario a kiss on the head and Jareth a pat on the back, I left them to their
bonding moment and went into the house to get the rest of dinner ready. As
I entered the kitchen area again, Ronni got up and came over to me with a
worried look on his face.

"Is everything ok?" he asked quietly.

"Everything is fine," I assured him, pulling him into my arms and
holding him tightly. The emotions I just witnessed outside had really
gotten to me, and I was feeling so full of love that I felt like shouting
it out. Ronni put his arms around me sensing that something really big was
taking place and that it was affecting me deeply. Reluctantly, I eased my
hold on him and gazed into his deep, dark eyes. "I love you so very much,
Ronni Martinez-James," I said. "I am the happiest and most blessed man in
the world." With that, I gave him a passionate, yet closed-mouth, kiss
that poured all the love I felt for him into it. Ronni responded by
moaning softly and returned the kiss with as much passion and love, his
body seeming to melt into mine.

"What made this happen?" Ronni asked, bemusedly once we had broken our
kiss. "I really like it, but what happened outside? I saw Jareth go out,
then you come in and show me such love in front of everyone."

He was right on that one. Sanie and the two other brothers were still
talking but were glancing in our direction with a quizzical expression,
although Sanie had more of a smile than the others. Taking Ronni's hand, I
led him over to where the others were sitting. Taking my seat on the sofa
and pulling Ronni down onto my lap, I put my arms around his chest and
looked at Dhomz.

"You know about them, don't you," I said. Dhomz looked a little
shell-shocked that I was bringing this up now, but he knew exactly what I
was asking and why Jareth and Mario were still outside. He glanced
nervously at first his brother, then Sanie and finally Ronni and me before
replying.

"Yes," he said quietly. Then turning to Paulo, he said, "Both Jareth
and I have known since maybe even you and Mario know." Noticing that his
brother was headed for meltdown mode, he quickly got up from his seat and
knelt before where Mario was sitting.

"It's ok, Bro," he said while rubbing Mario's arm. "You have the
right to love who you want to love. It does not make me feel any different
for you. You are still my younger brother, and I still love you. What you
and Mario have makes no difference. Well, maybe a little jealous," he
added with a smile. "I wish I have someone to feel like you do." With a
huge sob, Paulo launched himself into Dhomz' arms and grabbed him in a
fierce hug which was immediately returned. These two brothers pretty much
played out the same scenario I had just witnessed outside, and I could feel
the tears flowing down my face and felt the gentle sobs from my young lover
as he, too, got caught up in the emotions of the moment. Even Sanie's face
was wet with tears with a loving smile on her face as she watched the two
brothers. Just then, the door opened, and Mario and Jareth rejoined the
group. Seeing the two still in their embrace, Mario rushed over and was
soon pulled into a three-way hug which quickly became four, as Jareth
joined them. Even Hollywood's best couldn't have scripted a scene like the
one before us. The love shared by those four young men was a palpable
presence in the room, and our lives were made richer because of it.

But even in the midst of all this emotion, reality has a way of making
itself known. Ronni's stomach grumbled wanting to be fed, and he started
giggling as the tears still fell from his eyes. The others looked at him
questioningly, and he just pointed to his stomach, just as it let out
another groan of protest. This got the others giggling, and it soon turned
into full-blown laughter, as the intensity of the emotions abated. It felt
really good to laugh like that, and even Sanie seemed to be right in the
thick of things. Giving Ronni a kiss on the cheek, he scooted forward as I
stood up to go put the food on the grill. Before leaving, I turned toward
the two sets of brothers.

"Paulo, Mario," I said, getting their attention. "While I'm getting
dinner cooking, would you maybe like to talk to Lola Sanie about your
parents? Maybe Jareth and Dhomz also have some ideas on this." The two
young lovers looked at one another in that silent communication thing they
had between them before turning back to Ronni and me.

"I think we will do that," said Mario. "It will be good for Dhomz and
Jareth to help too, we think." With that, the four boys went and sat in a
circle at Sanie's feet and Paulo started talking to her quietly. Since
everything seemed to be ok there, I took Ronni's hand, and we went into the
kitchen to put dinner together. Pointing to the packages of rolls, I asked
him if he would slice them and lightly butter each half in preparation for
grilling. With a smile and a quick peck on the lips, he turned to his task
while I grabbed a long-handled spatula and the now-thawed tray of burgers
and headed outside. Placing the tray of meat on the grill's side shelf, I
raised the lid to see if the grill needed any extra cleaning before placing
the meat on it. It looked pretty good, but I took the spatula, scraping it
across the surface to remove any residue. I then loaded the grill with 14
of the patties and lowered the heat slightly so they'd cook properly
without charring. *****Just a quick aside. Why is it that whenever you
grill anything, the smoke follows you no matter where you move to, even if
there's no breeze? If anyone out there has the answer, I'd love to
know.***** About this time, Ronni came out with another tray with the
prepped buns and placed them on the other grill side table before coming
and wrapping his arms around me.

"How are things going in there?" I asked, enfolding him in my arms.

"I think it is good," he said, with his head on my shoulder. "No one
seems to be upset, and Lola has been telling them some good things. And
Dhomz and Jareth both say they will help when they talk to their parents.'

"That's great," I replied, giving him a slight extra squeeze. "I'm so
glad that they're on the boys' side in this. They're pretty remarkable
young men, and I'm glad I'm getting to know them a little better." Ronni
tightened his hold on me and sighed.

"I only wish they are as lucky as I am," he said, quietly. "But they
also have Lola to help, so I think it will be ok, but it might take more
time for their parents to be ok like my parents are."

"I have a feeling that Mario's mother may be the one to take it the
hardest," I said, "but she also seems like a very smart woman and she loves
her son very much."

"She loves her family very much," he responded, "but she can love them
too much sometimes and keep them too safe. She even have a hard time with
Jareth when he wants to play soccer."

"Well," I said with a grin, "we have your lola as our secret weapon.
I don't think anyone can win against her."

"That's right," he replied with a giggle. "She may be a small woman,
but she has a big voice." We both laughed at that as I released him to go
turn the burgers, once again trying to duck the damn smoke. Things were
coming along nicely, and I asked Ronni if he would put together a salad
while I finished up with the grilling. With a quick kiss, he trotted into
the house, and I turned my attention back to the grill. Another 15 minutes
saw all the burgers cooked and the buns lightly toasted, and I shut off the
grill and gas tank. Closing the lid, I grabbed the two trays and headed to
the door, hoping Ronni was close enough to open it for me since I had my
hands full. He'd obviously been keeping an eye on my progress, and before
I even got there, had the door open, drying his hands on a dishtowel.
Going in, I placed the two trays on the island counter top and noticed the
Ronni had already put out the plates, glasses, eating utensils, condiments
and salad dressings with a delicious-looking salad in the middle of it all.
Damn!!! This guy's good!! I planned to have everyone serve themselves
buffet-style, and it looks like he and I were on the same page without
saying anything. Looking into the salla, I could see that the conversation
seemed to be going well. There were no tears in evidence, but I did notice
that Paulo and Mario were sitting with their arms around one another with
their respective brothers on either side, their arms also across the
shoulders of their siblings, presumably in support. I hated to break
things up, but with they way dinner was set up, they could continue their
talk while eating. I asked Ronni if he would go tell them the food was
ready while I got out soda and water for drinks. Everyone soon had their
own plates of food, and, as expected, Sanie and the boys settled around the
table to continue talking while they ate. Ronni and I took seats at the
island, and I noticed that it was fairly quiet at the table as everyone dug
in, with an occasional comment from someone. Everyone finally had their
fill, including the teen bottomless pits, and everyone decided to wait a
bit for dessert. I made a coffee for Sanie and myself, and with the others
taking their dinner drinks, we all went back to the salla to see what could
be the best plan to help Paulo and Mario come out to their parents.

This may be it for a while, folks. My time of departure for the
Philippines is almost here, and I'll be busy with last-minute packing here
and getting settled in there. I apologize for the sporadic postings lately
and will do my very best once I'm there to keep the story moving at a
faster pace. For you "die-hard" Filipino Love fans, I'm now planning TWO
sequels, the second one now planned to cover the time between when Phil
goes home to finish the school year and his return. This sequel will be
more focused on some of the other characters and their lives, and I hope it
will enrich the story overall. As always comments are welcome, and I reply
to all. I hope to have the story up and running again as quickly as
possible.
