Chapter 2

And the train moves on:

	At around 6:30 AM PST I woke with David butt naked in my arms and I
leaned in and softly kissed him as I did his eyes fluttered and opened he
wrapped his arms around me and said "I love you" I smiled and with a soft
smack on his butt I said "shower time, two at a time" he jumped out of bed
than he realized that he was naked but so was I so he relaxed and I lead

stepped into the shower I closed the toilet paper roll holder as all of the
bathroom was a shower including the toilet and I ran warm water into the
sink and filled the douche with warm water that I had put a small bar of

	After the porter walked away she said "I knew that David really
needed a good friend, that would listen to and understand him, and who he
could talk to and get a really good advise" I looked at David and Margo and
said "all he really needed was some one that had gone through the raising
of two sons, that could understand his problem and advise him of a way to
get a handle on it".

	I smiled and said, "the breakfast will be here fast, and then I
need to get back to my stateroom, seeing that need to finish setting up the
class room schedule for the special schooling that I will be teaching in
Chicago over the next three weeks" Margo was staring at me and she said
"you're a teacher" I smiled and said "NO I am the Executive Vice President
of P & M Manufacturing Co. a small manufacturing company in Los Angeles but
we are starting to sell our machines around the country and they need
technically educated operators, so I will be teaching classes around the
country 3 weeks at a time maybe less time but I feel that in 3 weeks I can
provide enough information to give them a head start in a job that will
help them financially for the rest of there lives" as I said that I handed
her my business card.

	She looked at me and said "if you are the Executive Vice President
of P & M Manufacturing Co. Why are you on a train" I smiled and said
"Number 1 our company is not big enough to own its own plane even though I
carry a pilots licence and I am certified to fly everything up to and
including a 4 engine Jet, Number two There is an airline strike so a train
is the next best, I in fact was going to drive to Chicago but seeing that I
cant drive my Ford Expedition and prepare lesson plans at the same time I
figured that a train would do the same thing get me there in time and give
me time to write up lesson plans". By the time I was finished poor David
was bright red and Margo was very upset with herself, I stood and said "I
need to get a start on my plans but feel free to drop by that is if you
need to call anyone in Chicago as I have a sat phone and it is paid for by
my company" as I walked towards my stateroom I asked the porter "will you
bring me a carafe of hot coffee and some warm sweet rolls" he looked at me
and said "is there any problem, Sir" I looked at his identity badge and
said "George thanks for the offer but even I cant start to fix the problem,
that women has, and it's hard to believe that David is her son".

	An hour later I was deep into my 2nd week of class scheduling and
there was a soft knock on the door and from the shadow it was David and I
shouted for him to come in and he did as he did he came to the sofa and sat
alongside of me and said "will you accept my apology for my Mothers remarks
at breakfast" I didn't turn but I said "NO" he jumped a little and I looked
at him and said "I am sorry" and as I said that I wrapped my arms around
him.
	As I held him he shook violently and was sobbing quite painfully,
as I held him and softly rubbed his back he slowly calmed down and within 5
minutes he was relaxed and I said "David I apologize because I was so
abrupt at the breakfast table, but I have a policy anyone that holds out

face and said your not my mother and you will never be".

	I stood David on his feet and said "if you were to say that to
Margo in my presence I would slap your face so hard you would be able to
feel it in your crotch" with that said I looked into his eyes and said "If
you need a friend in Chicago I will be staying in the Ritz Carlton but I
will be teaching classes from 9:00 to 3:00 Monday thru Friday".

	He looked at me and said "am I that far out of control" I looked at
him and without any preamble I said "YES' but if we work at it I think I
can help" he smiled and softly kissed my cheek.  What I did next really
shocked him I put my laptop aside and said "come with me we are going to
the club car and you will apologize to her and ask her forgiveness first
for the remark and second for having ill feelings towards her" he stood
there and couldn't say a word so I said "she didn't kill your Dad in the
1st gulf war plus she was not the driver of the SUV that snuffed out your
Mother's and Brother's life plus I think she has stood for your shitty
attitude considering that none of you Squirt, Mary and you are not her
children but she has kept all of you clean fed and basically on the
straight and narrow, but you hate her for what" he was softly sobbing
looking at the floor he finally said "I didn't know" I put my arms around
him and said "lets go see Margo" he stopped crying and I cleaned his face
and walked him back to the club car.  As we walked in Margo looked up and
was shocked as I sat across from her, and David sat in a chair next to her,
plus she had a tall drink that the ice had melted into nothing and the
napkin was soaked, I said "Margo I think that David has something to tell
you" I smiled and David said "Mom I am so sorry for being a little snot I
blamed you for my Mom and Dads death and Mr. McMaster talked me through my
problem and now I know what I have been doing was totally wrong, can you
accept my apology", She looked at me and wrapped her arms around him and
they both were softly sobbing, I quietly walked away and returned to my
stateroom.

	I stripped and slipped into my sleep shorts and sitting on my bed
with my laptop in front of me as I finalized my instructional map, as I did
there was a knock on my door, I stood and answered it standing there was
Margo and David, and Margo had a smile on her face she said "Mr. McMaster I
want to apologize for disturbing you but thank you for David".
