Chapter Forty Four

It was well after 4:00pm in the afternoon when I heard the front door open
and Curtis announce that he was home. I started to get up and go to greet
him but before I got out of my chair he was knocking on my door. "Come in."
I shouted towards the door.

"Got a minute to talk dad?" Curtis asked as he poked his head through the
door.

"For you son, I always have time to talk." I replied, as I pointed to the
chair opposite my desk. "Pull up a seat."

Curtis got comfortable in the chair before beginning. "Michael and I had a
very long talk and I think we have worked everything out. He told me that
he was sorry for dismissing my concerns and that he did not mean to make me
feel unimportant."

"I am glad Curtis. And did you tell him that you were sorry about
anything?" I asked cautiously.

"I told him I was sorry for not trusting him and for making such a big deal
out of the whole thing." Curtis replied with a touch of embarrassment in
his voice.

"I am proud of you son. Not only for talking out your problems in an adult
way, but for acknowledging your own part in the problem. Relationships are
tricky things sometimes. It is important to always remember that both sides
have feelings to consider and neither side should be taken lightly. I am
just glad to see you smiling again." I stated.

"Thanks for talking with me and Michael and helping smooth things over. I
love you dad." he said with a beaming smile.

"I love you too son. Any time I can help, I am here for you. Always!" I
replied, before walking around the desk and giving him a big hug and kiss
on the cheek. "Now run along and get your homework done. It will be dinner
time before long."

"Oh! I almost forgot! Michael wants to go out for pizza tonight. Is it ok
if I go?" Curtis enquired.

"As long as your homework is finished, I don't see why not. But don't stay
out to late. It is a school night and we have employees arriving tomorrow
that you promised to help me with." I reminded him.

"I remember dad. Thanks again for everything." he chirped as he bounded
from my office. James was walking into my office just as Curtis left and
Curtis nearly ran him over heading for his room.

"Where is he going in such a hurry?" James asked with a chuckle.

"He is going out for dinner with Michael this evening." I replied.

"I take it they worked out their little problem?" he asked.

"Yes. All is well again in paradise." I said with a wink. "Did you need
something angel?"

"I just wondered if you wanted to take a walk with me on the beach before
dinner." James said seductively.

"That sounds delightful. I think I have put in enough work for one day." I
responded. James and I walked out the front door and began strolling down
our private beach. I was somewhat taken aback by this request because it
was a bit out of character for James. I knew something was on his mind but
I figured he would tell me in his own time. We strolled hand in hand for
quite a while without saying a word. I finally broke the silence.

"I remember the day we agreed to move in together my angel. The promises we
made to each other. How happy we both were. I am so thankful to have a
partner like you who has never given me the slightest cause to be angry or
jealous with you. It seems to me that our relationship is perfect." I said
in a very loving tone.

"It is perfect my love. And you have never made me angry or jealous
either. I am so happy with you. I can not imagine my life without you. I
have to admit that I was a bit worried that things would change for us when
Curtis came to live with us. But nothing has changed. We still have a great
relationship." he declared.

"I think so too James. We were meant to be together and I hope that we will
always be this happy." I replied. I stopped walking and held James in a
tight embrace. I stared into his gorgeous blue eyes and then kissed him
passionately on the mouth. When we broke the kiss, James laid his head on
my shoulder and we just stood there for what seemed an eternity. "Is
something on your mind angel?"

"I was just wondering if we could take a vacation after we get the new
cruise ship online. Not a family vacation like we just took. A private
vacation. Just the two of us." James asked, almost pleading.

"What ever you want James. Do you know where you would like to go?" I
asked.

"I don't care where we go. As long as I am with you." he cooed.

"I will give it some thought and see if I can't surprise you." I said with
a big smile. "We better be heading back to the house. Dinner will be ready
and Cory will be upset if we let it get cold."

"I love you Tim." James whispered.

"I love you too James. More than I can ever show you." I replied. Hand in
hand we strolled back up the beach toward the house. Cory was setting the
table just as we walked in the door. James and I took our seats at the
table and then Cory and Timmy served up the meal. Cory was grinning from
ear to ear. He had a cooked up a surprise for us. A new dish he had learned
to fix. Conch Fritters.

Once everyone was served, Cory and Timmy joined us for a wonderful
meal. James and I heaped praise on Cory for preparing such a wonderful
meal. Phillip was by far the best cook I had ever had but Cory was mounting
a serious challenge for the title. He was learning in leaps and
bounds. Curtis had missed a real treat by going out for Pizza. His loss and
our gain!

When the meal was finished, I showed my appreciation to Cory and Timmy by
giving them the rest of the night off. I told them I would clean up the
kitchen and get the dishes washed. James was quick to volunteer to assist
me. Cory and Timmy thanked us and headed to the hot tub. James and I
cleared the table and within an hour we had the kitchen spotless and all of
the dishes washed and put away. Cory and Timmy had already gone to bed when
we finished. James and I decided to make an early night of it too.

Just as we started up the stairs, Curtis came through the front door. "Did
you have a good time son?" I asked.

"We had a great time dad. We had pizza and then went to the bowling alley
for a couple of games." Curtis replied.

"I am glad to hear it. We are heading off to bed now. You better not stay
up to late because you have school in the morning." I instructed.

"I am heading to bed now too. I am pretty tired." he said before kissing me
and James on our cheeks. "Good night Dad. Goodnight James."

"Good night" we both replied in unison. The three of us climbed the
staircase and headed to our bedrooms. James and I walked into the bathroom

and made my way down to the pier. I parked the quad and headed into the
logistics office in front of the warehouse. I walked up the clerk and asked
when our next cargo delivery from Miami was due in. The clerk informed me
that the Miami cargo would be delivered on Friday around noon. I thanked
the clerk and I was on my way.

I drove out to security to see how everything was going on the
island. There were a few minor infractions reported but nothing major. I
informed the duty officer that Jim Reynolds and Yuri Andropov would be
arriving today and that they were employees of Jason's Haven. I did not
want Yuri being mistaken for one of the boys in our program since he was so
young. The duty officer informed me that he would spread the word to the
rest of the security force and that he did not foresee any problems. I
thanked the officer and left his office.

My next stop was employee housing. After a short ride I arrived at the
billeting office and went inside. I asked the Billeting Officer to verify
that quarters were ready for Jim and Yuri. He checked his logs and verified
that everything was set up. I asked him for the combination so that I could
take them from the plane to their new quarters. The Officer handed me a
sealed envelope that contained the combination and I thanked him for his
diligence in getting things arranged so quickly. I walked back outside and
mounted my quad. Just as I did, I heard a jet approaching the island. I
raced over to the airstrip to meet Jim and Yuri.

I managed to make it to the jet way just as Jim and Yuri were
deplaning. "Welcome to Jason's Haven" I stated as I shook each of their
hands. "How was you flight?"

"The flight was very smooth Tim. You have a wonderful pilot there." Jim
responded.

"Your Island is beautiful from air Tim." Yuri added.

"Yes it is. But it is much more beautiful on the ground. Just for the
record, it is not my island. It is our island." I informed him as I ruffled
his hair. "Ok guys, as you know, you will now have to have some medical
testing and young Yuri here will have to be placed in a chastity device
which he will wear for one week. I have assigned my son Curtis to be your
intake buddy. Although you will not be in the boys program, you still need
to go through orientation. I will be waiting outside for you when you are
finished. By then, Curtis will be there too."

"It all sounds so organized Tim. Guess you have been at this for some
time." Jim said.

"About seven years now so yes we have managed to organize everything pretty
good. I spoke with my shipping personnel and they informed me that your
helicopter and dirt bike will be arriving on Friday. Later today we will
get you a quad issued. Yuri will be able to ride his dirt bike when he
finishes orientation. Until then, Curtis or you can give him a ride to
where he needs to go. Sound fair?" I asked.

"Sounds fine with me. How about you Yuri?" Jim replied. Yuri simply shook
his head yes. "So what do we do now?" Jim asked.

I walked the two of them over to Calvin and introduced them. I got Calvin
up to speed on each of their status and then left them in his capable
hands. I walked back out to my quad and took a seat to wait for my
charges. It was not long before Curtis pulled up beside me on his quad. "I
told you I would remember." Curtis said with a big smile.

"Yes you did son. I am very proud of you." I replied before giving him a
hug. We had to wait for about twenty minutes before Jim and Yuri came
outside and joined us. "You remember my son Curtis don't you Yuri?" I
asked.

"I remember." he replied. His ears may have been paying attention to us but
his eyes were wondering all over the place. Obviously being in the midst of
so many nude boys was something he was not used to.

"I need to explain a few basics to you before we get moving." I
stated. "That bracelet around your wrist is your lifeline on the island. It
lets security know who you are. It also acts like a bank card so you can
check your bank account status and spend money around the island. The
bracelet can not come off unless it is cut off. Since you are new
employees, we have placed a credit of one thousand dollars in each of your
accounts until your pay gets deposited. Once your pay kicks in, we will
remove the thousand dollar credit."

"If either or both of you decide to have sex with our customers, you should
know that you may go to their cabana but the can never come to your
quarters. Customers are limited to the customer side of the island
only. They are aware that they may never pass a security checkpoint unless
they are going to the hospital or to the air strip to leave the island. I
know you two are probably committed to each other but I thought it best
that you know the rules anyway. Any questions?" I asked.

"What if customer tries to force me?" Yuri asked.

"You will quickly find that our security force here on the island is second
to none. There are officers posted all over the island and in most public
buildings. In addition to this, all indoor facilities are video monitored
for your protection. I assure you that you are very safe here." I replied.

"Cool!" Yuri exclaimed.

"Here is the combination to your employee quarters. Make sure that you do
not give it out to anyone, including me. You and Yuri should be the only
ones who know it. So are you ready to go see your new home?" I asked.

"Yes" they both replied in unison.

"Alright then. Yuri, you hope on with Curtis and Jim you hope on with me."
I instructed. "After we get you settled into your quarters, we will give
you a tour of the island." I added. We took off and headed for staff
housing and located Jim's apartment. Both Jim and Yuri tried the
combination and it worked for both. We entered the apartment and Jim let
out a gasp. The apartment must have been much bigger than he was expecting.

The entrance was directly into the living room which was quit large. The
room was nicely furnished with a large couch and loveseat. Three end tables
encased the couch and loveseat with a matching coffee table in the middle
of the arrangement. There was a very nice stereo system sitting beside a
large screen television. Off to the left of the living room was the bedroom
and off to the right was a dinning room which attached to the
kitchen. Beyond the kitchen was a small utility room which held and
apartment sized washer and dryer. We determined that Jim and Yuri only
needed one bedroom based on the information Jim gave us in Miami.

We toured each area of the apartment and ended up back in the living
room. "Is everything to your liking Jim?" I asked.

"It is perfect Tim. Everything that we need is here. But where will my bird
be stored.?" he asked.

"The helicopter will be kept at the airstrip where we will have a helipad
set up for you. The drive from here to there is not very far. Your uniforms
will be stored in Evac office and will only be worn when performing
evacuations or search and rescue. The remainder of the time you will be
required to dress according to island standards. Any problems with that?" I
asked.

"None at all." Jim replied. "It will actually be very nice to be in a place
where we do not have to hide who and what we are."

"That's what Jason's Haven is all about. Soon we will have Angels Cove up
and running and we will be able to help more boys to find the happiness in
life that they deserve. Once the new Island is up and running, we will
probably be able to give you a private home to live in. We will have to
wait and see how it all turns out." I replied.

"This place is good enough for us but having our own home would be even
nicer. So either way, I think we are going to be very happy here. Right
Yuri?" he asked.

"Yes Jim. It is very nice here." Yuri replied. "When device come off my
dick?" he asked.

"They will remove it in 6 and one half days Yuri. It is only there for your
protection." I answered.

"Maybe, but I no like." he stated with a frown.

"Not many of the boys here do. But they find out after it is all over that
6 days is not such a long time. How about we change the subject and go for
a tour of the island?" I suggested.

"That sounds like a great idea Tim." Jim stated.

We all headed out to the quads and paired up as usual. Since Jim and Yuri
were employees, I thought it best to show them the administrative parts of
the island first. We drove them down past the dormitories and the school
buildings. The next stop was the air strip so I could show them where their
office would be located. Then we drove them over to the infirmary since
this would be another area they would be working in. Our next stop was the
loading docks. This was probably the single greatest risk of injury spot on
the island.

After looking around the pier, we drove them out to our house so they would
know where it was. Then we took them over to Allen's place so that they
could find it as well. I introduced our two newest employees to Allen and
Brian and explained their roles on Jason's Haven. I asked Allen to call
Michael and ask him to meet us over at Paradise del Ragazzo for some
lunch. Allen said he would take care of it, so we took off to get some
lunch and have a nice chat with Michael.
