Subject: Life is Good, Chapter 4 Male/adult/youth

This is a work of fiction, all of it. All the characters are fictitious, of
course, and the story was born in my mind.

                                   Life is Good

                                    Chapter 4

Over the next few days, I let Gus have his fun with my body. After all,
it was my fun, too. I fucked him often and was in amazement every time I
was inside him. He made me feel like my soul mate, yet the reality of our
situation--with regards to his young age and the rest of the world, of
course--was fraught with obstacles. Yes, he is 18 and can make his own
decisions and is legal and all that, but he's also fresh out of high school
and totally without a care.
How do we deal with his family, and my friends, for one thing? How do I
help him grow? If I have indeed found my soul mate, how do I move forward?

"What are you thinking so hard about?" He asked one evening after
dinner. We were in the garden, and mostly--but not entirely--naked. The day
had been unusually warm, even at the beach. The air was cooler at this time
of day, though.
"About us, about what we do next," I replied.
   "What do you mean?"
"Do you really want to be my lover?" I asked.
"You know I do," he said flatly.
"Good, but we can't be on vacation all the time, Gus."
   "Why not?"
"Because life doesn't work that way."
"I know," he pouted. "Do I need to get a job?" he asked, feigning great
fear.
"That has possibilities. You just need to be doing something with your
life, not just hangin' until the old man can get it up again," I
half-teased.
"I know. I was hoping that you were rich and that I could live off of
you, but I see that ain't happening, so I gotta do my share, huh?"
"I love you, baby, but you're eating me out of house and home!" I
exaggerated.
"Are we really tight for money?" he asked seriously, suddenly.
"No, puppy. Money's not the point," I repeated.
"You don't like me just lying around, then?"
"Except when you're naked and hard," I joked.
"OK, I see your point, Charlie. I'm just afraid that I'll get myself in
trouble.
   "Trouble how?" I asked.
"People are always hittin' on me when I'm not with you, Charlie."
"Just say no to them." I said, "that's what I do."
"That doesn't work too often for me. It'd work for you `cause you're
masculine and all. I think some guys think I'm easy because I'm young."
"So show them that you might be young, but you're not stupid, and you're
definitely not." I suggested.
"You make it sound so easy," he said.
"It kinda' is, puppy. You've just got to be confident and self assured,
kinda' like you where when I first met you."
"You thought I was confident and self-assured then?"
"Most definitely! You wouldn't take no for an answer."
"I thought I was just giving attitude." he answered.
   "That's it! Defend with attitude."
"OK, I'll try it, but I don't know. All these changes!"
"Of course they're changes. Life is change. Gus, have you've never had a
job?" I asked.
"Mom wouldn't let me. I could be gone at school all day, but couldn't
work."
"Wow, Gus, I'm sorry, I never realized..."
"So, unless you're willing to teach me, I'm lost on how to progress." he
said.
"Come to me, puppy." I pulled him close to me. "I'll do whatever it
takes for you to find your place in life. You already have me, but there's
a whole world out there, too, demanding attention. You have to learn how to
navigate it. I'll show you how."

We went for a walk on the beach, opting to walk south to the marina and
back. On the way back, I saw Walter, the genius guy I met before Gus
returned, approaching us. He smiled when he noticed me and came up to us,
He and Gus scoped each other out thoroughly,
"How are you, Walter?" I said, offering my hand.
"I'm good," he said, "and you?"
"I'm awesome. Walter, meet Gus, my friend I told you about."
"Wow," he said, looking at Gus closer. "You're beautiful, too," he said
to Gus.
"You're not bad to look at either," Gus replied, and it was true. Walter
is a `looker'.
He smiled. "Why thank you kind sir," he bowed, glancing at me at the
reference to sir and grinning.
"What brings you to the beach?" I asked with levity.
"Oh, just visiting my sister with my Mom and Dad. They're here, talking,
and I could care less, so I came down to the beach."
"Well, it's good to see you. Stop in sometime again when you're in the
neighborhood," I said, turning.
"It was nice meeting you, too, Gus, and you really are beautiful,"
Walter snuck in, grinning.
"Back at ya'!" Gus offered as we walked the opposite direction from
Walter. Several yards away, he said, "Now that was
interesting. Charlie...?"
"Yes, we have," I answered before it was asked. "Once."
   "Once?" he asked.
"Once, same deal as you. Once until you're 18."
   "He's only 16?"
"Trust me," I revealed, "he's all man, too."
   "I suppose I can't play with him now that I'm 18, huh?"
"You can, but if you got caught, you're the one they'd go after, not
him. You think he's cute huh?" I asked.
   "Very cute," he pouted.
"Well, he is, I'll admit. There's other stuff about Walter that makes
him interesting, though."
"Like what?" Gus was all ears.
"He's a genius, and a trained slave, trained by his own father."
He had a blank look on his face, then laughed. "You're kidding, right?"
"No, I'm not. Or at least, that's what he told me," I argued. He got
serious again.
"Wow," he finally said. "And what does he do as a slave?"
"Whatever you command him to do."
   "Anything?"
"I guess, I wouldn't let him pull me into the master roll. He reverted
to normal to play with me, though, and I asked him never to come to me as a
slave again. His `thank you, kind sir, comment to you was an homage to his
S&M side, I think. He knows I don't approve."
"Interesting," he declared..."I'd be your slave if you wanted me too."
   "But why?" I asked.
"I don't really know," he replied. "I'm just so totally into you that
I'd do anything for you. Plus having you boss me around in sexual context
might be fun."
I do love this kid, this guy, this young man. He's still a little
innocent and naive, but magnificently beautiful and totally devoted. I've
decided to try verbal S&M on him soon...or what I know of it anyway.

"Have you talked to George or Kitty recently?" I asked later in the day.
"Do I need to?" he asked back. "Don't you love them?" I counter-asked.
"Yes, of course. Charlie, what's this about?" "I need you out of the house
for about an hour...though I probably won't last half that."
He smiled. "Why?" he asked, pleadingly.
I fibbed. "Because I have to get a thought down on paper and you
distract me, too much."
"I have that power, huh?" he grinned.
"Ooo, baby!" I quipped back, pleadingly.
"OK, OK, I can take a hint," he said. "I'll be back in an hour. Can I
bring Chelsea for an overnighter?"
"Sure, why not?" Chelsea was easy.
"OK," he got up to leave and bent to kiss me. "Are you going to be ok,
baby?" he pushed.
"I'll try," I said simply, but effectively, apparently, because he left
and closed the door.

I didn't really have an urgent thought that needed journaling, I just
wanted Gus to talk with his grandparents. George, Kitty, and I have been
friends since I moved here, but the fact that I like guys has never yet
been a topic of conversation, thank goodness. They're intelligent, though,
so they might have figured it out. What are they imagining about their
grandson, I wonder?
In actuality, I did get some writing done that I'd forgotten I had. I
was just finishing it when the phone rang.
It was a guy I'd met several years ago,Tom, from Toronto and one I'd
hooked up with for about a week, during his vacation. He was a good man and
hot, too. Remembering that I have a puppy that is new to all this,I
fantasized for a moment on a three-way with him and us. I knew it would
work, but the timing wasn't right.
As it turned out, unable to connect worked for him, also. He would be
doing this `run' frequently, and would try again, hoping to give us more
notice next time.
"I'm anxious to meet this man that's captured your heart. He must be
really something."
   "He is," I replied.
"I look forward to meeting him one day," Tom said.
