MISSING 1

BY: RClayton

ONE

Jaden rode past the Gunner mansion on his way to school. The old house took
up the better part of a block near his school. He had never been inside the
old place, mostly out of fear, but also because his dad said the place was
very dangerous. Haunted too, from the looks of it, Jaden thought.

He pushed his foot down on the brake pedal to take the turn down his street
and the chain popped off, dragging the street while he brought the ten
speed to a stop.

"Stupid fuck!" Jaded said as he let the bike drop to the grass of Old Lady
Hunter's place. He looked up to the front porch to make sure the mean old
woman wasn't coming for him. He was more afraid of her than he was of the
Gunner place. He had seen her pitch a hissy fit before, more than once it
had even been aimed at him!

"Need some help?"

Jaden jumped in fright and turned around to see who had spoken to him.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you." The man said. He was tall, well
over six feet, and heavy set, but not all that fat. The man wore Rayban
sunglasses and had thick brown hair. His clothes were new; jeans and a
button up shirt, all blue and freshly cleaned.

"It's okay. My chain broke." Jaden said. He pushed his thick, long and
curly blond hair from his eyes. He stood, holding his bike, not noticing
that he had smeared grease on his denim shorts and his right leg.

"I always hated when that happened. I got hit by a car when I was your age
because my chain slipped and I couldn't slow down in time." The man
said. He smiled and looked Jaden up and down, liking what he saw.

"Damn, did you get hurt bad?" Jaden asked. He had all but forgotten about
the bike. He knew the man was looking at him. It wasn't uncomfortable but
he wasn't sure if he liked the attention the man was giving him, either.

"Broke my left leg pretty bad. I still have trouble with my knee when it
gets cold or wet." The man said. He leaned against the telephone poll a few
feet from Jaden. "My Name is Ray."

"Nice to meet you, sir." Jaden said. He brought his attention back to his
bike as he went to one knee on the curb.

"We can take it up to the garage behind the house and fix it up if you
like." The man said.

"I don't know... Where do you live?" Jaden said. He looked around to see if
there were any other people in the area. He didn't see a single person
within a block in either direction, which was weird for this time of the
morning.

"Right here, actually." The man said as he pointed to Mrs. Hunter's
house. "It's my aunt's house but she isn't living here any more."

"Old Lady Hunter is your aunt?" Jaden asked surprised. He didn't think she
had any family.

"Yeah. I can tell you have the same fear of the old girl too." The man
said. He laughed softly. "My mother had to have her placed in a nursing
home last week. Aunt Agnes fell and broke her hip."

"That's too bad." Jaden said. He felt sorry for all the mean things he had
thought about the old woman.

"Not really. She was an old bitch and everybody, including my mom, knew
it." Ray said.

"Oh." Jaden said. He felt very awkward standing in front of the woman's
house hearing her nephew refer to her as a bitch. Plus, he realized, he
was late for school now. "Damn."

"What's wrong?" The man asked.

"I'm late for school." Jaden replied. He took the broken chain in hand and
tied it to the bar under the seat. He would have to push the bike to school
and deal with it after classes. He stood back up and worked his back pack
onto his shoulders again. He had dropped it when the man had spoken to him.

"Come on, I'll help you fix it." The man began walking up the perfectly
kept yard that Mrs. Hunter had been so obsessive over.

"I don't know. I need to get to school." Jaden said. He stood with his
hands on the handle bars. Grease was now on his new Old Navy shirt which
would really piss his mom off.

"It won't take long." Ray said.

Not being all that big a fan of school anyway, Jaden shrugged and pushed
the bike up the narrow driveway.

The garage was full of boxes and an old Ford Mustang convertible.

"Cool car." Jaden said as he pushed his bike to the end of the garage where
a work bench had been set up against the back wall.

"Thanks. I've been trying to restore it for a few years now. It's a `67
model." Ray said as he ran a hand along the primer painted front fender. "I
hope to have it painted before the end of the month."

"Cool." Jaden said. He began to relax about accepting the offer of
help. The man seemed friendly and safe enough.

"Let's set the bike up here." The man said. He helped Jaden move the bike
up onto the bench in a wheels up position. "This is a pretty old bike."
Ray said.

"Yeah, it was my brother's when he was a kid. He gave it to me before he
went in the Army." Jaden said. He remembered the day Carl had told him that
he could have the bike. That had been three years before.

"Where is your brother stationed now?" Ray asked. He examined the chain
where it had broken.

"He...he died last year." Jaden said.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Ray said. "You know, you never told me your
name."

"I'm sorry. I'm Jaden Monroe." Jaden held a greasy hand out to shake.

Ray took the boy's soft, greasy hand without a second thought. "It's nice
to meet you Jaden."

"You too, Ray." Jaden said. He smiled for the first time since leaving his
house that morning.

"Well, we have a problem here buddy." Ray let the ruined chain drop to the
Formica covered work bench.

"What?" Jaden asked.

"This chain is done. Looks like we'll have to go to the hardware store and
get a new one."

"Oh, well, don't worry about it. My dad can fix it tonight when he gets
home from work." Jaden said. He went to move the bike off the bench.

Ray moved behind Jaden quickly. "I don't think so, Jaden."

"What?" Jaden said as he began to turn around.

Ray wrapped one arm around the boy's body, holding his arms down and placed
the other over Jaden's mouth. "You aren't going anywhere for a while, my
new friend."

Jaden got scared, fast. In an instant he knew he had fucked up big time. He
tried to fight his way free of the large man.

"Settle down, Jaden. I'm not going to hurt you." Ray said as he held the
boy tighter. "I'll move my hand if you promise not to scream." Ray
said. "You promise?"

Jaden settled down, giving into the man because he knew he wouldn't be able
to work his way free. He nodded his head.

"Good boy." Ray said. He removed his hand from Jaden's mouth.

"What do you want with me?" Jaden asked. His voice was soft.

"Several things, actually." Ray said. He pulled a remote control from his
pants pocket and pointed it to the garage door and pushed the close button.

Jaden could hear the electric motor run as the metal door slid into place,
closing him off inside the garage with the man. He held still so he
wouldn't make the man angry with him. The tears burned his eyes but he kept
blinking them back, trying to be brave.

"Relax, Jaden." Ray said. The man's voice had deepened. "I promise I won't
hurt you. Not unless you make me. I'm going to let you go now so don't try
anything stupid."

Jaded nodded again.

Ray removed his arm from the boy's waist with a short grope at the boy's
crotch. "I like to spend time with boys like you, Jaden.

"I bet." Jaden said. He had heard stories about men like Ray. He may be
almost fourteen but he wasn't stupid. Ray was going to make him have sex
with him. He had thought about such things himself but it had always been
Jamie or Josh that he had wanted to do it with, not an older man he didn't
even know, and not because he was being forced to do it.

"You sound resigned to whatever happens, Jaden." Ray said. He sounded
amused.

"You're going to rape me, right?" Jaden asked.

"I wouldn't call it rape. Besides, there is so much more I want from you
than just sex."

"Like what?" Jaden asked.

"I want to be your friend, Jaden. I want you to want to be with me." Ray
said. He leaned against the front of the Mustang.

"If you wanted to be my friend, why'd you do this? Grab me and all?"

"I didn't want you to leave me."

"You could have asked." Jaden said.

"Would you have stayed willingly?" Ray asked.

"No." Jaden replied.

"That is why I did what I did. I won't let you go, Jaden. Not now, not
ever. I've been watching you, you know. Everyday for the last month or
so. You would ride by and stare at the empty mansion, then ride on down the
road to school. I'd make sure I was where I could watch you ride home again
as well."

Jaden looked around the dark structure. If there was a weapon, he couldn't
see what it could be.

"I removed everything. Locked it up." Ray said.

"Ok." Jaden said.

"Jaden, you are my boy now. I want you to forget everything outside this
property. Hell, we aren't going to be here that much longer either, for
that matter."

"What do you mean?" Jaden asked.

"Well, you see, we are going over to the mansion when it gets dark
outside. The old lady's house kind of stinks. I guess it's her body rotting
away." Ray said. He smiled at Jaden.

"She wasn't your aunt at all, was she?"

"Actually, yeah, she was. I just hated the old bitch so I killed her. This
house was a good hideout until the body got ripe."

Jaden shivered. "You're crazy."

Ray looked hard at Jaden before throwing his hand forward.

Jaden slammed into the bench with the force of the slap. He grabbed the
side of his face with one hand. He felt the tears again but didn't try to
hold back now. It wouldn't matter any way.

"That wasn't a very nice thing to say, Jaden." Ray said. He rubbed his
hands together. "I'm sorry about the slap, but you made me angry." He
stared at Jaden's red, tear streaked face. "Apologize."

"Fuck you." Jaden said. His fear was turning into anger.

WHAP!

Jaden fell to his knees on the concrete floor.

"Apologize, now!" Ray yelled. He had his fists balled up at his sides,
ready to strike again.

"I..I'm sorry!" Jaden said. He looked up at the man. "I'll never let you
touch me."

"Then I'll just take what I want. Oh, and you will like it. Sooner or
later. You'll beg for it." Ray said. He could feel his cock harden in his
jeans. He felt glad that the boy had decided to make things rough for
himself. It would be so much more fun this way..
