Subject: Mr A and His Boys: Special Note

Hey guys,

First of all... to those of you who are still reading the series despite my
4-year hiatus, thank you. I appreciate that you're still around. To those
of you who discovered it after I started posting again, welcome, and I hope
you've enjoyed the journey.

In case you skipped my note at the beginning of the most recent chapter
(and I know I usually skip those kinds of notes when I'm reading these
things!), I'm looking to bring the series to an end or at least to change
the course of it.

When I started the series, I was in my second year of teaching, and I had
the grand, foolish plan to chronicle Mr. A's life year by year, adding new
characters each school year, letting others graduate...

Well, it's almost 10 years later, and I haven't even started writing
Mr. A's third year of teaching! I have lists of characters yet to be
introduced, but I don't think I can go much further with the series as it
is. It would be overwhelming, and I think it would take forever. I try very
hard not to write sex scenes only; I always try to find a way to link new
characters in a significant way and to maintain them. It's not like a
student can just disappear from a classroom, so they must always be there
somehow.

I've also considered two new series... one would focus on the teenager and
would sort of be what Mr. A was like in high school. The other would focus
on a teacher who's kind of the opposite of Mr. A, i.e. gay instead of bi,
submissive, smaller.

Long story short (sorry!), I'm looking for suggestions. What kind of
wrap-up to the Mr. A series would you like? What should happen next? And
what the hell should I do with all these characters... granted, many of
them are just variations on the characters I have, but those are the kinds
of guys I like, and most guys like Paden are just slight variations on each
other, anyway.

To those of whom to whom I've promised "cameos," I'll still try to make
those happen.
