maybe the editor a bit!]

This is the first time for me at writing a story of any kind.
I have to thank Nifty for letting me find such an amazing site. That has
made me feel like I'm not alone in this world of dreams, while not accepted
by closed-minded people.
Love does not come in a prepackaged form, defined by a few over religious
groups, or others, too blind to see the true meaning of the word "LOVE."
The one that has been the most helpful in my writing trials, and has been a
great inspiration to me in all my endeavors has been "Matthew Templar", my
editor. Thank you, Matthew. You are the most unselfish and caring man I've
met. You put all others before yourself with all the things you do. Read
"Never Take Love for Granted" and you will see what kind of man he really
is, and soon, a new story will start.
Please email me at www.azkid61@yahoo.com I love to see what you think of my
"attempt" at writing. All emails will be answered (in the order they where
received). "Sound familiar?"
"My Marty"
Chapter 7
Marty's mind started racing in several different directions at once. He
couldn't understand what was happening to his life. On one hand he had just
found out he was basically left to fend for himself for two weeks; on the
other hand he had just found the man who could and would make all his
dreams come true.
In his mind, he went back to the night when he first met Wade; the night he
found him in his bed.
He was having a dream about the lady with the long blond hair that had a
smile on her face that made him feel safe and loved. When he felt something
wet on his leg that made the dream fade from sight.
He started to wake up.
"Damn it, Chris," he said, "Why do you always wet the bed when I'm in it?
Can't you wait till I'm in my own bed?"
He punched his brother's arm lightly. Chris was a sound sleeper. You could
strap his bed to the top of a car driving down a bumpy road and he wouldn't
wake up. So Marty got up and went into the bathroom down the hall to
change.
As he came back into his room, he noticed that somebody was in his bed.
Chris had a bad dream earlier that night so he had crawled in with him to
help Chris go back to sleep. He stepped next to his bed and tried to see
who it might be, but it was too dark to tell. So he thought,
"Do I get back in bed with Chris and sleep in the pee, or just get in bed
with the stranger."
He could just see the outline of his face in the dim light.
He looked kind and had a slight smile on his face from what he could see,
so with that in mind he pulled the sheets up so he could slide in. Marty
could feel the warmth coming from the man lying in front of him. He thought
of school and all the boys in gym class, and in the showers, and he started
to get a hard on. The man felt so good to him. He'd never slept with a
grown up like this before. He slowly ran his hand over the man's side, and
laid it on the man's waist. He felt the man move and Marty "froze!"
The man didn't smack his hand away or yell at him, but instead, the man
lifted his hand up, and pulled it to his chest, pulling Marty up close to
his back. Then the man seemed to fall back to sleep. Marty never felt the
rush of warmth before, and wasn't sure what he was feeling. He did know he
liked it. And his mind just started to fade to the lighter side of life;
safe and warm. And he drifted off to sleep.
He woke in the morning to feel the man's arms around his chest, holding
onto his arms. The man was spooned into Marty's back. Marty had never felt
this warm....or loved? He thought to himself, 'Is this what love is
suppose to feel like?' Then he started to feel pressure just below his
butt, against the back of his leg. He knew in a instant what that was, as
he giggled to himself, he thought, 'I need to see this man's face that is
holding me like I was his. I need to see the face of the one that is giving
me butterfly's in my stomach.'
So, very gently he rolled out from in front of the man, trying not to wake
him, so he could get a good look at the man. Marty was lying on the man's
arm, facing him. Marty just stared at his face, trying to look into his
soul to see why this man made his heart skip a beat. His face looked young
and full of life. He had sandy blond hair, a small pudgy nose. and funny
small ears. Marty liked this man's face. In the light of early morning, it
looked so peaceful and kind.
The man rolled onto his back and opened his eyes, looking up at the
ceiling. Marty watched as the man tried to shake the sleep from his eyes.
He turned his head towards Marty and blinked his eyes. And the most
beautiful smile came across the man's face that made Marty's heart fill
with warmth. Marty asked the man his name, but the man just seemed to stare
at him. So Marty asked again. Still the man just stared at him. The man had
his mouth open, so, thinking he might just help the man, Marty reached up
and closed the man's mouth, giggling all the while.
The man shook his head like he was shaking himself out of a dream.
So Marty asked, "What's your name?"
The man said, "My name's Wade."
Marty thought to himself that he had never heard that name before and it
was kinda funny sounding.
Marty said, "That's a funny name. What are you doing in my bed?"
"I had to drive your dad home last night," Wade said. "He had a little too
much to drink and couldn't drive."
Marty felt embarrassed and ashamed; he knew what that meant. He hated his
dad for drinking all the time. He just wished he had a dad that would love
him, or at least make him feel like he was not an outcast in his own home.
Marty felt Wade pull him into his chest and hold him there. Marty's heart
felt like it was on fire. The feeling of Wade's chest and the arms around
him felt like when you put on a shirt from the dryer on a cold morning;
that warmth that flows over every inch of your body, Marty wanted to melt
into Wade so he pulled into him even more. His thoughts of his dad gone in
a flash!
Marty was in heaven. This man with the funny name had just taken his
heart. No one had ever made him feel like this in all his 11 years. The
feel of Wade's heart beat against his cheek. The loving arms gently holding
him so close. All his fears had just melted away.
Then he thought about the walk to the bus stop that day. He wanted so bad
to hold his hand, to feel Wade. To know he's real. Marty's mind was all a
mix of feelings and emotions. He did not want it to stop! The funny feeling
in his stomach, when he had to tell Wade how he felt, the bus had just
pulled up, and the only thing he could think of was, "I like you; you make
me laugh." And he quickly turned and got on the bus.
Some kids on the bus had asked Marty who that man was who was waving at
him.
"That's my new best friend," he told them. "His name is Wade."
Marty hoped he would see him again soon. He thought to himself, 'Wade said
wild horses would not keep him away, whatever that meant.'
Then Marty's mind wemt to that Friday after school, when he had gotten
home. He had asked his dad all week about Wade.
"When was he coming over again, and did Wade ask about me today?"
This was driving his dad nuts! His dad had asked Marty what's up with him
asking him every day about Wade. All Marty would say was that he liked
Wade. He thought he was funny. Then his dad said that Wade was coming over
tonight to have a beer. Marty's heart almost leaped out of his chest at the
thought of getting to see Wade again. He was jumping up and down with joy
when his dad said, in that familiar tone of anger that Marty heard a lot of
lately,
"If you don't stop acting like a stupid fool you'll stay in your room.
Don't you fucking embarrass me in front of him, you shit," he said as he
slugged another beer down. "Now go get me another beer and stay out of my
sight!"
Marty did what he was told and went into his room to stay out of his dad's
way.
In his room, Marty was thinking about Wade and how he had made him feel
inside. He hoped Wade would still want to see him when he got there. At
about 5:30, Marty started pacing his room. He wanted to look cool for
Wade. So he changed clothes two times and brushed his teeth and combed his
hair twice. He snuck into his dad's and mom's room to find some cologne to
put on. Marty's stomach was all in knots and his hands were sweating. He
could not explain the feelings he was going through. He just knew he was
going to see Wade soon.
He was sitting in the front room, looking out the window, when he saw Wade
coming up the walk. His heart jumped into his throat and his excitement
went into overdrive. He dashed for the door, threw it open, and ran to Wade
at full speed, almost not able to stop. He looked into the face of the man
who had just stolen his heart in such a short time.
"You came! I knew you would. How long can you stay?"
Marty's mind was racing. He didn't even know he had reached out and grabbed
Wade's hand. It felt so warm and natural to hold.
Then Marty's thoughts skipped to his dad saying he could stay the night
with Wade, and how excited he was. It was all coming so fast to him ... the
shower ... Wade's dog, Syliss ....
His head was spinning! He couldn't think straight. The love he knew he had
for Wade. His parents just up and leaving him. The note in his hand!
And then it all went black!
