"Boy are you a mess!"

"Only me?" Gef asked.

The two lay there on the bed faced up, their hands still lingering in each
other's gooey crotch.

Erik comments, "Well it looks like you've been practicing a lot since way
back when, Gef."

"Like you don't know it?"

The conversation then drifted back to their conversation earlier, Erik
saying, "Well like we both said, we've got to work on it," meaning finding
soulmates.

Sitting up, Gef observes, "I think I shot a bigger load than you."

"No way," Erik replies, doing a sit up. "How can you tell with all that
chocolate and cum?"

"You're right," Gef replies, ulterior motives on his mind.

Erik flopped down in the bed, spreading his legs when Gef gave hint of his
intentions of cleaning his brother up.

The boys merited two giant stuffed bears, after Alex returned to his post,
for all their toiling at knocking down pins with tennis balls. Almost all,
Nick lending a hand sometimes.

"Can we try something else, Nick?"

"Yeah, can we Nick?" Jase asked too.

Nick spot-checked his watch, figuring they could walk around a bit til the
boys found another venue for entertainment. He also noticed Tony `being
sick' for the last twenty minutes!

With many `can we?' turned down, Nick gave in to probably the last or
second to the last of the entertainment concessions, `Fool The
Guesser'. There being a small queue, he kept track of the kids but played
his own guessing game, wondering how old the face hidden under the
close-cropped, thin-edged blond beard, hair sticking out the sides of his
Abercrombie baseball cap like a haystack.

"Our turn!" Jase shouted out when the guy in front of them left with his
kid.

Zack yells out, "Hey mister, guess what school does my brother and me go
to!"

"It doesn't work like that kid. You don't get to pick what I guess at. Got
that?"

Cute guy or no cute guy, Nick didn't like the tone of voice he was using,
especially where a nine and ten year old were involved.

"Besides you're too young to be guessers." The young guy, looking younger
than Nick's twenty-one years said abruptly, pointing to the sign.

Nick jumps in with, "The kids didn't see the sign and neither did I!"

Looking at Nick, the young, cute guy scanned him, giving him a quickie once
over. "They yours?" he asks.

"Yeah," Nick said, meaning they were under his wings while at the arcade.

Thinking otherwise, Jase and Zack caught the remark, their thoughts like he
was their dad, which started their little brains thinking maybe their real
dad and Nick had something serious going on.

A sudden mellow in his voice, the guy says, "Sorry about that then. If
you're here with your sons then they can play."

"No sale," Nick said, adding, "C'mon boys."

"Hey wait a minute! I said I was sorry. Give me another chance, will ya?"
the dude pleaded.

Nick smiled. With Zack's hand in his right hand, Jase's in his left, Nick
made the three of them about face. Hidden motives made him do it, an
improvised plan to find out a particular thing about this guy. Maybe even
something more than a casual meeting would be in store since Tony already
proved his infidelity, even if they `were' only friends.

"We'll give you another try," Zack beat Nick to it, "but you gotta stop
being cross at us, okay?"

The guy lightened up even more, a quaint smile adorning his angelic
face. "I'll try to be a little more cheerful," the blond haired, blue-eyed
guy said, his statement really said to Nick's face.

Zack saved Nick the time, saying, "I'm Zack and this here is my brother,
Jase and this is our dad's friend Nick. What's your name?"

Losing a tinge of his upbeat smile, the guy says, "Patrick O'Cuinn." But he
left a short interval of silence, staring Nick in the face before asking,
"I thought you said these were your kids?"

"I never said that," Nick argued the point.

"Yes you did, Nick!" Jase turns and tells Nick.

Nick comes out with, "I did?"

"Yes you did, but I didn't think you were on account of you don't look old
enough," Patrick replied.

"I can't believe I said that, but if I did I'm sorry, Patrick."

"You said it alright Nick like you are our dad too," Jase said.

Zack ventures to add, "Maybe if you and dad get serious you could be our
dad too?"

His thoughts filtered back to the other day when Erik and he had a serious
talk with the boys about keeping their privacy secret. So he used the
incident to reinforce, "What did we have a talk about the other day, Zack?"

"Oops!" Zack gasped, putting his hand over his mouth. Then, with force of
habit, tugging on Patrick's pocket, "Hey Patrick can you forget what I just
said so I don't get into trouble with my dad?"

Patrick had noticed Zack's hand pulling at the side of his pants. He only
hoped it wasn't too hefty a pull, hence somebody notice the slight bulge in
his pants.

By this time Nick figured if Patrick didn't `guess' the relationship
between the boys and their dad, they had literally `fooled the
guesser'. "It's too late Zack," he told, a bit of sarcasm in his voice.

"No it's not," Patrick differed. With his lips turned up he said, "Like
I've forgotten about it already!"

"Cool!" Zack said, Jase cheering him on.

Then no paying attention to the smile Nick gave him, Patrick bends over to
say to the boys, "I bet you two go to Gold Creek Elementary School. Am I
right?"

The boys broke out in amazement.

`Foxy', to think the least, Nick thought. Anybody who lived in the vicinity
would know Gold Creek `had' only one elementary school and it was named
after the town they lived in. "Good guess," he awarded Patrick, along with
a five dollar bill.

"Thanks," Patrick replied, slipping the bill out from between Nick's
fingers.

After the boys calmed in giving out their accolades to Patrick, they wanted
to go. Hands reattached to Nick, he turned to say to Patrick, "Let me
guess. You get off work when the arcade closes, right?"

"Yeah," Patrick replied already knowing where this was going, having
received the offer more than once.

"And you don't have anything better to do so you'll think about joining me
for dinner?"

"I don't know about that," Patrick said, his hand already in his pocket,
readying in to take out his business card.

Jase and Zack let Nick talk on, sad because they sensed Nick wasn't going
to pair up with their dad afterall.

"Maybe I can call you and we can..." Nick didn't have to force the issue,
Patrick whipping out his business card.

"I do children's parties too!"

They left, Nick and Patrick smiling at each other.

"Oh there you are!" Tony says, appearing as if by magic.

"Still feeling sick, Tony?" Nick asks, his cheery side taking a dive when
he sees Tony's face.

"Actually," Tony replies, "feel much better with all of that out of my
system."

"Tony we need your help!" Jase called out. Proceeding back to the `Hit the
Pin' arcade they confront Matthew who has been saving two almost life-sized
bears on the counter, almost as big as each of the boys.

"No problemo!" Tony called out, grabbing up Jase's teddy. "You get the
other one?"

"Sure," Nick replied in a low tone with a hint of sarcasm. All the way back
home Nick was silent, more than glad the boys were talking up a storm.

Reaching the estate, parking his jeep, the kids jumped out and ran up the
flagstone walk.

"Had a good time. You?"

"Sure," is all Nick said without excitement.

"Those kids sure are something!"

With intended sarcasm, meant to cut like a knife, Nick badgers, "You're
quite something yourself, Tony!"

But Tony didn't get the connection or didn't `want' to get it. He helped
carry the big bears inside, the boys dragging their dad and Uncle Gef out
to the foyer.

After greeting each other and the two big bears, Tony sniffs the air and
says, "Smells like chocolate in here for some reason."

Nick didn't say it, but smelled it also. For now his mind was on only one
person.

"You staying for dinner Tony?" Erik offered.

"Um no. I have some things to attend to at home."

Nick didn't encourage him to stay. Besides he more than Tony on his mind.

The kids had retreated to their rooms, an order from their dad with their
uncle leading the way to help Jase and Zack remember to wash hands before
changing their clothes and changing into swim trunks.

"But why do we hafta, Uncle Gef?" Jase complained as he stripped his tee
shirt off.

"Yeah, Uncle Gef. We're only gonna get wet when we jump in the pool?"

Suddenly Gef, figuring the same thing, changed the course of history,
"Okay. Skip the bath it is!"

"Yaaaaay!" the boys shouted out, scrambling to lose the rest of their
clothes and feed their legs into their swim trunks.

In deep thought Gef didn't even realize they ran out of the room. In close
pursuit, he forgot about his own swim attire.

"Hey Uncle Gef? Where's your skimpy swim suit?" Jase asks.

"Skimpy?" Gef questions.

"Yeah," Zack replied. "When we asked dad he said we couldn't wear skimpy
swim suits like you."

Right away Gef thought, `what about the skimpy speedo Erik wore?' Instead
of pondering the situation he decided a get even tactic. "Hey, since I
don't have my swim suit handy, how-about we go swimming without?"

"But dad said...." Jase replied.

The two watched as their uncle cast his tee shirt off over his head and
then dropped his pants, taking each leg out. When Gef peeled his briefs,
one leg at a time, his right foot hooked the brief on his toe and tossed it
up in the air, catching it.

"Wow! I never seen that before Uncle Gef!" Zack asks.

"Seen... I mean saw what?"

In return, Zack questioned his brother, "Jase, you ever remember seeing all
that hair on Uncle Gef's legs and around his weenie before?"

It wasn't ever a thought on Jase's mind, but he replied, "Nope. I remember
seeing it on his chest and belly, but not there. You have a lot there Uncle
Gef!"

Not knowing how to handle it, Gef ran through the gate to the big pool
shouting out, "Catch me if you can!"

The boys hightailed it in fast pursuit!

%

"Sorry you can't stay for dinner, Tony," Nick said not really regretting
it. "But If you've got more pressing things to do..."

"I'd like to stay but I just remembered I have a paper due on Monday. A
man's gotta do what a man's gotta do." He didn't even kiss Nick goodbye as
he jumped in his jeep, turned the ignition and turned out of the driveway.

"So, what'd Tony do now?" Erik asks Nick as Nick enters the office in a
solemn mood.

"I can't believe it!" Nick replied, flopping his ass down in the easy
chair.

"Oh? What did Tony do to `you' now?"

Sitting there, fingers woven together and fitting over his stomach, Nick
replies, "I caught him jerking off with the arcade dude while taking Zack
to the jon."

"Why am I not surprised?" Erik replied.

"Not surprised? How's that go, Erik?"

"Really Nick? Of all people I didn't realize you were `that' gullible!"

Knowing where Erik was coming from he said, "I suppose I was hoping for
something more."

"Yeah. I know the feeling," Erik replies.

Both got the message.

"Too bad you're so stubborn," he tells Erik.

"About what?" Erik says, turning from his computer, swiveling halfway
around in his chair.

"You know. How come you can't make it easy for both of us and surrender
your ass to me?"

Erik laughed out loud, suggesting, "And what about giving your ass up to
me?"

Nick sums it up, "If you and I were together people would see `me' as the
alpha male!"

"Oh really? I'm curious. What brings you to that conclusion?"

"Because really, deep down inside, you have the strong desire to be owned?"

"Owned?" Erik questions his motives, laughing his ass off. "Where do you
come up with these ideas, Nick?"

Nick gets up, walks over to him and stands there in front of him, finally
telling of his theory, "You've wanted me from the first time you saw me,
Erik. But it's not like I didn't want you too. But then things became too
much of a stalemate. One of us has to give in or else...." he ran out of
explanation. "Never mind. I guess it was never meant to happen."

It then came over Erik of his and Gef's poolside chat. As he saw it now,
Nick was the most perfect man in his life. Once he almost lost him to
another man, but because of another man's mistake Nick was back in his
ballpark. "Wait," Erik replied, grabbing Nick's wrist.

"Erik, let's just let it go?" Nick pleaded.

As Nick tried walking away, Erik still held on, getting up out of his chair
as if Nick was dragging him out. "I don't think I'm ready to let you go
Nick."

"We already proved it Erik. Two tops can't live under the same roof and get
along. I'm sorry, but I can't give... in," Nick reinforced his statement
but couldn't refuse a sweet kiss from.

The impluse too strong, Nick began to slowly surrender. Yet, Erik wasn't
holding his own as he placed his hands up, under Nick's shirt. Before too
long, Erik had Nick's shirt off, Erik likewise, barechested. With passion
both went at it, their lips busy while hands worked at belt buckles. In
less than a minute both worked at inserting thumbs in elastic waistbands,
Nick pushing down the moose-flavored boxer shorts while Erik depantsed Nick
of his lowrise briefs.

Kicking their shoes off, the two stood there in their socks, the only speck
of clothing not in their way. As they `danced', the kissing became more
intense. Erik had backed up to the executive table. As Nick bowled him
over, he pushed the cookbooks from the table onto the floor.

If anything was to came out of this it had to be now. Like the perfect
couple, Erik fell over onto his back, Nick's knees and thighs placing him
in a position of laying out on the table. It wasn't the ideal, most
acceptible way in which two guys fall in love.

"Erik?"

Erik didn't respond, still sitting in his swivel chair, his mind off on
some faraway planet.

"Erik?" Gef shouted.

"What? Oh... yeah. I'm listening," Erik jumped out of his daydream,
featuring Nick.

"The boys got hungry for a snack. They're in on the sofa watching the hot
spider-dude for the fiftieth time. Nick needs some ingredients for
tonight's dinner so I'm taking a ride with him. Your turn to watch the
boys!"

He didn't let Erik get a word in, but Erik knew he had to be in the Tv room
like pronto. When he got up out of his chair he had a flashback to his
daydreaming. To himself, but out loud he said, "How come life can't be that
simple?" He meant how come his daydream workout whereas Nick would waltz
into his office and like the dream, him surrendering to Nick...."

"Hey dad?" Zack came in.

"What?" Erik asked.

Somehow Zack forgot what he came in to ask his dad for, seeing him standing
there with something peculiar about him. He asks his dad, "Hey dad, how
come you're all big there?"

Erik looked down to see where his nine year old was
pointing. "Oh..well... I guess I have to go to the jon." Making further
excuse, "And bad, so I'll meet you and your brother in front of the Tv?"

Buying it, Zack leaves as fast as he appeared.

"Whew!" Erik said. Then he looked down again. The urge was for release but
not for the toilet. Instead though he let himself in to the small jon, an
extension off of his office. He couldn't believe he had built up such a
large erection after his and Gef's `chocolate afternoon'. Whatever, he
leaned one hand on the wall while stroking his cock with the other. Closing
his eyes he revisited his dream as if already in progress, picking up where
he left off, stripping Nick's shirt off over his head. As he scrunched down
on his knees, his tongue traveled the length of Nick's bod, tasting chest
hair before painting a line down the trail which led to Nick's deep
innie. As he got to Nick's endowment he hesitated but pondered quickly over
Nick's words about giving in and he wasn't changing his mind about wanting
to make this work. With mouth wide open he readied himself to take Nick's
10.5c in... then he shot his load!

%

"Hey! Where are you going, Gef?"

"Really Nick. It hasn't been more than a month since we broke up. You
forgot where we spent so many nights in private?"

Pulling into the picnic grove, Gef killed the ignition.

"Gef, what are we doing here?"

Instead of responding, Gef lifted the door handle of his black 4x4.

"Gef, where are you going? I've got to get dinner on the table!" Nick
pleaded. Nick sighed, just knowing he wasn't going to get moving anytime
soon. Even with the keys still in the ignition he would not do a dirty
thing as drive off and leave Gef out here in the `wilderness'. Facing his
ex, he asks, "Gef, what's this all about?"

He placed his hand on Nick's forearm saying, "Nick. I'm sorry I did what I
did to you. I still love you and...."

"Save it Gef. You... Tony... you're two of a kind and frankly I'm tired of
getting used."

"I never used you Nick," Gef claims.

"Then what do you call `pretending' to love me and then head off right in
the opposite direction and kiss up to some other guy?"

"I've changed, Nick."

Nick laughed his ass off, breaking free of Gef's spell he tried casting
over him. "I dunno, Gef. After you confessed you slept with the trainer
down at the gym, the pizza delivery boy? The mechanic down at the gas
station? Hitchhiker you met on the road, Omer at the Jewish Deli and who
knows who all... You expect me to buy your story?"

Suddenly Gef got pissed because this time he was really meaning what he
said. "You've got all the answers, don't you? Sure I've slept with all
those guys and plenty of others, but I confessed to you I had because I
thought maybe you could be understanding," Gef responded in anger, moving
his bod close as Nick strayed backwards as if Gef's words were pushing
him. "I thought maybe if I leveled with you it would be better at the
moment, instead of us moving in together and you finding out. I had every
intention of us making a real life together for ourselves."

"Funny way of showing it," Nick gained control of the heated conversation,
"finding you in the back room with the mechanic when I came by the station
to have my car serviced?"

"It was John who led me on," Gef found excuse.

"Don't give me that bullshit Gef. You're," he pounded his index finger into
Gef's chest, "a man. You're responsible for your actions," his finger
continued to impress the issue, "You could have said `no'?"

Then Gef starts to get the sniffles, breaking down as he shouts back in
Nick's face, "You had it good you know... growing up in one big happy
family... you have no idea what I went through... having a father who came
home after the office and took out his frustrations on his `son'?"

"What are you talking about?" Nick asked, not ever hearing any of this
before. "You and Erik...."

"No. Not Erik. Just me. Erik knows nothing about this. Knows nothing about
how `our father' took advantage of his younger son... oh forget it," Gef
cried his eyes out, leaning over a picnic table.

Feeling pity, especially since he had no knowledge of this, Nick stood
there for a moment. Then he sat at the picnic table, his eyes looking at
the back of Gef's head. He was reluctant, but then felt guilty venting his
anger when he didn't know all the facts in the first place. He place his
hand on Gef's back and rubbed it. "I had no idea Gef. I wish you had told
me this before." Then he asks, "Erik knows nothing about this?"

Turning his head, looking at Nick with teary eyes he says, "I wanted to
spare him the grief. I... Nick I love Erik."

"I know you do Gef. I've grown fond of him too in the short time I've...."

"No, Nick. You don't understand. I `love' love Erik and he loves me too."

Nick wasn't getting it, but tried to. "Love, like in loving a guy... a
relationship type love?"

Then, spilling his guts, Gef told of his only solace when he was a teen, he
and Erik in bed making love to each other. He told Nick he knew of himself
being gay, but thought Erik was straight. Still, he told of seducing Erik,
coercing him into giving him a blowjob. Then as time passed, of their
nightly rituals of Erik lying in bed while he gave him a complete
tonguing. For a few years he went oral on his brother, but when Erik turned
eighteen he let him fuck him.

"Some story," Nick said.

"I didn't think you would believe me," Gef said, rising up from his chest
pinned to the picnic table. He walked four feet from the table, his back
facing Nick.

Standing, Nick walked over to Gef and was ready to place his hands on Gef's
shoulders. For an unknown reason he halted and backed off.

"Gef you have to understand my position. I've never been like you. Never
been with more than one guy before I met you and that one guy is the way I
found out myself to be gay... an awakening... experimentation which proved
I only had desires for guys." He paused, sitting on the edge of the picnic
table, his hands pressing on the table. "No, I didn't have the family
situation you had. We were a good family and had good times together. I
can't recall our parents getting very upset over anything." But cutting to
the present, "When I met you I thought I had met `the love of my life'. I
fell head-over-heels in love with you Gef. I.... I was so in love with you
I'd do anything for you. I think our nip rings prove something."

Still in his sad mood, Gef stood there, back still to Nick, arms folded
across his middle and looking down at the dirt. When Nick mentioned their
corresponding piercings, silver rings through each of their left nips, he
turned around dropping his arms. "I know. Don't think because I did what I
did I wasn't any less in love with you Nick. I mean for the first time in
my life I had found a guy who's only interest wasn't devoted to getting
into my pants... or rather," he meant a guy getting into his pants.

"I know," Nick said, knowing what Gef meant.

At this point they stood there, a foot from each other.

Gef went on to explain, "After our father died I thought I was over being
taken advantage of... but I found I liked it and...."

"Gef, don't torture yourself. I understand. Okay, if you didn't tell Erik I
understand, but I thought we were being confidential with each other."

"I was... except this Nick. I guess I was under the illusion I could keep
it sealed away forever in my mind. But it wasn't that easy. The delusion
seemed to work against me and I was craving to be taken advantage of by a
guy."

"No wonder you hooked up with Tony." Then he confessed, "I can't believe I
let myself be taken advantage by his cunning ways."

Then Gef wanted to know, "Nick did you really love me?"

"I did until I found about you with John."

"So now you hate me."

Nick realizes he didn't use the correct choice of words. "No, I don't hate
you. I'm sorry. I didn't mean I wasn't in love with you. I was angry and
confused, Gef. How would you feel if the guy you were deep down in love
with cheated on you?"

"But I wasn't cheating, Nick. I... I...." he felt helpless evading the
truth. "Yeah, I cheated on you Nick. You're right. I'm a man and should be
responsible for my actions," Gef replied, holding his face in both
hands. Then dropping them to his side, "I messed up real bad and it cost
me. Cost me a lot." Shrugging his shoulders, Gef fessed up to reality. "I
guess we better get those things at the store and head back before they
miss us."

Turning to walk away, Nick catches Gef's arm. "I think in a relationship
which is strong there is room for forgiveness, Gef."

"I don't know," Gef replied with a futile attitude.

"Look at me."

Gef looked at him.

"Okay so I found you in the gas station with John up your ass." Not
lecturing Gef, Nick says, "What's done is done. Do you think if we can work
at it we might make this work?"

Not jumping for joy yet, but with a spark of light in the rain, Gef asks,
"Are you saying you still want to be with me?"

"If you want to be with me?"

The serious nature of the discussion finally hit Gef, thinking over twice
what Nick was driving at here. Nick had no where to go as Gef stepped up
against the table, pinning his torso between. An inch apart, Gef looked
into Nick's eyes. "I'd like another chance." Then divulging what he and his
brother talked about, "Erik and I have been thinking..."

Nick jumps the gun, based on Gef talking about the love he and his brother
hold over each other, "You want Erik and not me?"

"No. I didn't lie when I said I have a deep love for my brother. Like you
say, what's happened, happened." Then, talking about two hours ago, "While
you, Tony and the boys were at the arcade," he hesitated, not knowing how
Nick would take this.

Sparing Gef the grief of telling, "You and Erik climbed into bed together?"

Lightening up, Gef responded, "But it wasn't like... like... like you and
me. It was like we were still in our teens, an innocent romp in the
sheets," he didn't mention the chocolate, "two guys discovering
themselves... you got to believe me Nick...."

"I do."

"You do?" Gef doubted.

"Hey, I can see what you see in Erik. He's tall, handsome, nicely filled
out around the edges," meaning physique high and low, "and he's got a great
attitude. How could you `not' love your brother?"

Gef cracks a slight smile, half his lip curled up, half smirk. "From the
way Zack and Jase had talked I thought maybe you and Erik had something
going?"

Instead of denying it, bring the top/bottom issue into it, Nick said, "I
thought so too."

"So what stopped you?"

He simply put it, "Erik was great in between the sheets, but it just wasn't
meant to be."

"I kind of got the feeling," Gef said, more upbeat.

"How's that go?"

"When you started luring Tony into the deep end of the pool?"

It made Nick smile. "Yeah. What a stupid fool I was, huh?"

"You mean what stupid fools `we' were?"

Jocularity turned to seriousness as their lips came together. Not too much
time passed before Gef was stripping Nick's shirt up over his head. As a
symbolic act, Gef bent and licked over the wire ring hanging from Nick's
left pec.

"My turn," Nick said. Turning around, Gef's ass leaned against the table,
Nick lifting his tee shirt, tongue licking. He proceeded to peel Gef's tee
shirt off, but didn't leave it at that. Kissing him, Nick bowled him over
onto the table surface.

Gef scooted up even though his back suffered from the rough wood against
it.

Up on his knees, Nick straddled Gef. Getting back to the kissing, the two
worked each others face over as if goldfish making love. Same time, Nick
began working Gef's belt buckle.

"Yeah, take me," Gef said to Nick as he folded the flaps of his jeans
apart, his hand massaging Gef through his briefs.

"I took you once already," Nick responded.

"Yeah, but this time it's for real... forever," Gef said.

They hesitated for a moment, Nick rubbing the treasure trail between Gef's
navel and briefs with his thumb. Without saying a word, Nick bent down for
a kiss his hands busy depantsing Gef as Gef lifted his torso off the
table. Getting off the table, Nick pulled Gef's pants inside out. Standing
there he tossed them aside.

Doing his part, as if surrendering himself, Gef peeled his briefs off his
torso, bending his knees to remove them. He lay flat out on the table, his
arms at his side. "Last chance to change your mind," he reminded Nick.

"I know," Nick said. Stepping forwards he grabbed Gef by the legs, dragging
him forwards.

"Oooooooooooh," Gef said of the wood scraping his back and ass, yet he
didn't relate to it as pain but rather as part of the mating ritual. He was
silent when Nick lifted his legs, placed his shoulders under his thighs and
dragged him even farther, his ass towards Nick's waiting shaft.

Down in the dirt, Gef's cellphone in his pants pocket, began ringing, but
the two totally ignored it!
