If you are looking to get off fast then you might want to leave. This is not going to be a sex story, but more a love story. This story is pure fiction and contains nothing about me or anything in my past life. I hope you like it. If you want you can email me at ja@yahoo.com. I will try and answer all emails except flamers which I think should be shot on sight. Live and let live. Anyway on with chapter 2 of the story. Well in the next 30 seconds several things happened. First Tim started to cry and then turned and ran out the door. Mr Jones stood there and looked at me and I went off in another direction. Mr Jones came after me and asked what that was all about. I told him that Tim was one of the boys I had recently caught shoplifting. I told him there was no way I would take him as I would not trust him. Mr Jones said to wait there and let him go check on Tim first and then he would come back to talk to me. After having said that he turns and goes out the door. My mind was a mess. I wanted this all to work out and now this. I didn't know what to do. I would just have to wait until Mr Jones came back in and see what was next. It took several minutes before he came back. When he did, he was not very happy looking. He said Tim was crying his eyes out and was saying he was sorry and just wanted to go. When I told him he had no where to go he said he didn't care, he just wanted to go somewhere else. Mr Jones then asked me if there was any way to work this out. He said this was where he was hoping to leave Tim and now that he might not, he was not sure what to do. He could find another place for Tim, but that would take some time and he needed a place now. I told him I just didn't think I wanted to be part of this. First off I did not trust Tim and would always be worried about what he might get into. I had to much at stake in my business to not be able to trust someone near it. There was always valuables around and money was sometimes laying here and there. There never was alot, but what I had I sure would need and I didn't want to have to watch Tim every second of my day. I mean if he would steal a cheap lighter then what else might he steal in the future. I just didn't want the responsibility. I told Mr. Jones that it was best to find somewhere else for Tim. He wasn't to happy, but seemed to understand. He said he could not force me to take him. If he could, it wouldn't work out anyway. With that he turned to leave. He got almost to the door when it opened. Tim was walking in. Tim looked around and then came walking over to me. When he got near him, He said, I am really sorry. I never meant no harm. Sorry I took something from you before. I know now that it was stupid and it got me into alot of trouble. He continues with, I know you hate me and all, but I was hoping maybe we could work something out. You see, I really have no where to go. My dad hurt me bad and now is in jail for it. I do not know what to do. With that he began to cry again. I let him cry for awhile, then told him his apology was accepted. Its just that I don't think it would work with him staying with me. I had alot to do and didn't have the time to do it and also watch him. It would be better if he went to stay somewhere else. Well, that was not what he wanted to hear and he slumped to the floor and started crying again. Mr Jones went over to him and helped him up. He was just holding him and letting him cry. I felt bad for him and really wanted to help, but was really torn. I really didn't want to be involved in this. It seemed like forever under Tim finally calmed down. Good thing there were no customers. I would have hated to handle this with customers there. When he finally got himself under control he again looked at me and asked it I would consider taking him. He told me he would never steal from me again and would do whatever he could to make it up to me. He did seem sincere, but so do alot of people. I told him we will all go into the house for a few minutes to talk and see what we can come up with. With that I closed the store. I hated to do that, but my customers know sometimes I have to leave to make deliveries and pickups. I just put the sign up saying I will be back in two hours. With that we all three went into the house. I had everyone sit down and asked it anyone wanted something to drink. After getting soft drinks for everyone we started to discuss things. It seemed like Tim was being real sincere in what he was saying. Mr Jones kept asking things and making suggestions. After several minutes I told Tim that if he was to stay with me there would be several rules that I would expect of him. I told him that at no time did I want him to steal anything from me. In fact I told him I did not want to even suspect him stealing anything. I also told him that at no time had he better have any drugs or tobacco or beer with him. I made it a point of letting him know that if at any time anything was not right that I would call Mr. Jones and have him picked up right away. I also told him there would be several other things we would have to discuss first before I told him yes. I asked him if everything I said was ok with him. He looked at me for a moment and then said yes. He said he really didn't have anywhere else to go and would have to do whatever I said so he could stay there. Thats when I told him that I didn't want him to do it because he had to, but because he wanted to. I told him if he didn't do it because he wasted to then things would not work out. Sooner or later he would regret having to do it. He seemed to understand my point and commented on it. I noticed there and then that he did seem to be very bright. He just needed some guidance and someone to explain things to him. I then asked him if he wanted to discuss other things that was expected of him. I could tell he wasn't to excited about them, but nodded anyway. I started by explaining that most of what I said he was not compelled to do, but I would like for him to help in these areas. I told him that he could help some in the store. He would not have to lift things, but maybe little jobs like dusting or straightening things out or maybe from time to time helping with a customer. He seemed to like that idea. I then told him that he would be able to help around the house doing things. I did make it clear that I expected his room to be somewhat clean. I know how boys are being one myself years ago, but alittle straightening up once in awhile would be expected. Then I told him that the one rule I did expect him to follow in the house was when someones bedroom door was closed that you are not to go in without knocking. That means both my bedroom door and his. If mine was closed then he had to knock first and wait for me to say open before he was to open the door. I told him that rule was for him too. If he wanted privacy close his door and then I would not come in until he told me to. I told him the only exception would be in case of an emergency. He didn't seem to understand why until I explained that he might want some privacy once in awhile. He still looked lost for a few seconds and then it was like a light bulb went off. He got what I meant about needing privacy. You could hear Mr Jones chuckle a little at that too. There was several other things we talking about and before you knew it it was a couple hours later. I asked Tim if everything was agreeable to him. I then asked Mr Jones if he had anything else to add. He made a couple comments and suggestions, but nothing really serious. With that I told Mr Jones that I guess Tim could stay, but he was to check often until I was sure about all this. He told me that he would have to anyway. The laws say something about keeping an eye on things for a while. Anyway, after that I showed Tim his room. We walked down the hall to his room. He stopped in front of it and looked back at us. I told him to go ahead and look inside. When he opened the door and looked in he started to cry again. I went to him and put my hand on his shoulder. I asked what was wrong. He said nothing was wrong, he just didn't know how things were going to work out and this room was better than his old room. I asked him if that meant he liked it and I think he said yes. It was hard to tell with him still crying. I told him to go sit on his bed and look around and get himself under control. He did that. He had his bed, a bookshelf, dresser, desk with computer and a few other things. He asked whos computer that was. I told him it was his. It was his for as long as he stayed here. It has internet connection and alot of softwear on it. I told him that I didn't block anything from being seem by him, but I expected him to use some control. I told him, if there was a problem then I would do somthing about it. He assured me there shouldn't be any problems. I told him that he could get some other things that he wanted and put them in his room later. He seemed to like that idea. With that I told him I needed to get back to the store and he could stay in his room awhile or come with me. Mr Jones said he needed to get going also and would see us in the morning and see how things went. He told me if anything came up to call him. He asked me not to do anything rash until I talked to him if there was a problem. I assured him that I would and not to worry, things would work out. With that he left and Tim and I went back to the store. After opening the doors again I got two chairs and put them outside the door where we could sit and talk. I asked Tim to sit. I asked him several questions about his life and his likes and dislikes. He asked me several things. We had a nice meaningful conversation. We were both trying to get to know each other better. The more I talked with him though the more I seemed to like him. If it wasn't for the stealing part I would have probably thought he was a super kid. I just had this feeling about it. I know I have to try and forget it, but its hard. I could tell though that he was quite smart and seemed to know his way around things. I liked that in the fact that I wouldn't have to show him everything. He could understand things easily. For that I was thankful. We talked until it was time to close. After closing the store we went to my favorite restaraunt. I was hungry and I was sure he was also since we didn't eat anything since morning. After pigging out we went back home. Tim went to his room and closed the door. I went and knocked on his door and told him I was going to take a shower and thought he should take one after. He said he would and to let him know when I was done. After my shower I went to my bedroom and finished dressing. I went to his door and knocked and told him the shower was his. After a couple of minutes he came out of his bedroom...naked... to take his shower. tbc
