For those of you who have been asking about Martin, chapter 20 will be sort of chapter 0 of my new series "Martin's turn" (the title might change). It will be entirely devoted to Martin's party and it will be written in the first person, so we will finally learn more about Martin and his thoughts. Please, don't forget to write and tell me what you think about my story. Chapter 17: Weird. I woke up that morning and the first thing I saw was his face, smiling that beautiful smile. He was looking at me, waiting while my eyes adjusted to the clarity of the room. "Good morning!" "How long have you been up?" "A couple of hours" "That's so unlike you" "I wanted to see what is so interesting about watching someone sleep" Sean said. "It's not just anyone, it's watching the person you love that makes it special" "Wow, sweet even after waking up! You are a morning person!" "Only when I wake up next to you!" "Oh, stop it! That's too much sweetness! How about some tea?" "I'll meet you in the kitchen. I need to take a shower. Is anybody else up?" "No, just the two of us, although I can hear some noises coming from Mike's room" "Ok, make me a cup of tea, I'll be there in a few minutes" I made my way to the upstairs bathroom, passing by Mike's room. I heard someone laughing inside, probably Jay. I knocked on their door and told them breakfast was ready. There was silence for a second, I guess I startled them. Then, as I was closing the door to the bathroom, I heard someone coming out of Mike's room. "You're paying for that!" Mike yelled. I paid no attention to him, and turned on the water. While I waited for it to heat up, I quickly shaved. I've always hated that. But I also hate letting my beard grow, so I try to shave everyday, sometimes in between days. The water was really hot, but I enjoyed it immensely. After the events of the previous day, I was feeling a little stressed. Things did not get as unpleasant as they could have, but it wasn't all that nice either. I never imagined that Sean would have such a problem with it, but I also knew that the problem was Mike and not the fact that they knew. They had told each other a lot of things, and I hoped that it would finally help them become better friends. At least, Sean seemed to feel a lot better. I got out of the shower and made sure that the bathroom looked perfectly alright before I left. I don't know why, but I've never felt comfortable in anybody else's house. I tried to leave the bathroom spotless, like it hadn't been used. I wrapped a towel around my waist and went on my way to the guest room. I put on a clean pair of boxers and a t-shirt and made my way to the kitchen. "Good morning people! I'm glad to see that we are all up!" I told the three guys at the table. "Here's your tea!" Sean told me, but I could tell that something was up. "Is there anything wrong with my tea, Jay?" I purposely asked Jay, knowing he can't lie without showing a huge smile. "No" he said, but the smile was already there and getting bigger by the second. "Then, why are you smiling?" "I'm not!" he said. "Oh, you're so stupid. Remind me to take him somewhere else when I''m trying to pull a joke on someone!" Mike told his brother. "But I'm not smiling!" "You have the biggest, most stupid grin ever! You are the worst liar in the world" "Thank God!" I said as I made myself another cup of tea. "Can I seat with you?" I asked my boyfriend. "Yeah, I guess" he said while he stood up and then he sat on my lap. "Awkward?" I asked. "A little" "Get used to it" and I kissed him on the shoulder. "Any plans for today?" "Not really. Do you have any plans?" "Nope, that's why I'm asking. I have to make sure that Martin invites all his friends, but other than that, I haven't got anything else planned" and I kissed Sean on the cheek, making him blush a little. "I don't have any good ideas either" Mike added. "Well, until you come up with something, or until the children wake up, I'll be in my room with my boyfriend" "Then we'll be upstairs. We'll let you know when the boys wake up" "Ok, see you later" I closed the door behind us and I joined Sean who was sitting on the bed. "Was that too weird?" "Not as much as I thought it would" "Are you in the mood for some cuddling?" "With you?" "No, not me. With Mike" "Ouch. I quit! You win!" "Come here!" I said as I hugged him closer to me and tickled his sides. "Stop that, I don't like that! Get off of me!" "I'm never getting off." I said and I kissed him, passionately. I let go of his hands and he pressed them to my face, returning the kiss with the same amount of passion. We kissed like that for the longest time, and I lost track of all time. "How much do you love me?" I said between soft kisses. "More than anything else!" he said returning the kisses. "Are you comfortable?" "Always" "Did you enjoy watching me sleep?" I asked as I lay beside him. "Yeah, you look nice when you are sleeping" "What do I look like?" "Just nice" "You are looking nice now. You always look nice" "You look nice, too. Would you mind staying like this all day? I'd sure like that" "As much as I'd like that, Martin and Johnny will be getting up soon. But we can enjoy ourselves in the meantime." "Hold my hand" he whispered, and I did. "I like being around you. Not just being with you, but being around you. I'd like to go out with you sometime, really go out" "Like where?" "Dancing, to a gay club, to show everybody how hot my boyfriend is" "You've thought about it, I see. Why don't we?" "You can't get into a club, the will ask for an ID and you don't look that much older. Jay could get away with it, but you are too cute" "Too cute or too childlike?" "Young, but not like a child, you look fifteen, maybe sixteen, but not eighteen" "Would you go with Jay?" "Why would I? Except for having the chance to see him dance, I don't see why. But we will have lots of opportunities in the future" "I guess you're right" and he smiled at that. I knew why. We stayed in bed the rest of the morning, just kissing and holding each other. It was almost noon when Mike came down to tell me that the boys were up. Sean got up immediately and looked away. "Thank God we weren't naked!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, but the children are coming to see you" "Tell them to wait in the kitchen, I'll be there in a second" I got more presentable before going outside. My cock was semi hard and I was sure that Martin was going to check that part especially, so I decided to put on my jeans. Sean stayed in his boxers, but he didn't leave the room. "Good morning boys!" I said as I entered the kitchen. "Morning!" came the answer from both. "Martin, you have to start calling your friends and invite them to the party" "How many can I call?" "How many would you like to call?" "A hundred" "How about forty?" "Great, I'll start right away!" I was about to start making something for breakfast, but looking at the time, I decided to skip breakfast. As I was getting ready to cook, Martin came into the kitchen. "I just called Chris and he invited me to his house. Can I go?" "I don't know" "Let me talk to Alex!" Johnny cried out. Chris and Alex are Jay's younger brothers. Chris is Martin's classmate and Alex is Johnny's. After a lot of talking on the phone with Jay's mom, I agreed to let them go. Jay had a nice swimming pool and since the day was hot, the boys could have a nice time. I told Martin to finish his calls, and after lunch, I took the boys to Jay's. Sean and Jay wanted to stay with me and Mike, but I talked them into having some fun in the sun. Mike and I walked to my house after telling the boys to call me when it was time to pick them up. "Wow, nice place you've got here!" he commented. "You like it?" "Yeah, quite awesome for someone your age!" "I know, but it's still too close to my family. I've been living here for almost four years, but I'm thinking about moving out" "Really? Why?" "As I said, it's still too close and not independent enough. Although I can come and go as I please, they still show up and ask me for all sort of different things. The VCR is not working! I can't turn on the TV! The sink is leaking! The water doesn't have enough pressure!" I said mocking my entire family. "Do you know how mad it makes me to go and find the TV is not plugged in? They don't even check that out, as soon as something is not working, they call me" "But you are the handyman extraordinair!" "Yes, but I'm getting sick of it. They don't even wait until I'm alone, they just call me from the back yard. And sometimes, I don't like to be interrupted. Do I have to draw you a picture?" "No, no! I get it! But still, you have it better than most people I know" "I know, but I've been thinking about getting my own apartment or maybe a roommate" "That would be a lot easier, have you checked that out?" "Yeah, but I don't want to be the roommate moving in" "Why not?" "It's just that I would never feel at home, you know, like I'm borrowing everything" I answered as I poured some coke in a glass for him. "I see, thanks" he said as I handed him the coke. "Then you are not so desperate to move out!" "I never said I was desperate, I just want a place for myself. Besides, I've been lucky so far that they've never seen Sean more than once, I wouldn't know what to say" "You could tell them he's one of your students" "Right, a student who comes but doesn't leave until the next day. I thought about that, but I still have to keep my eyes open when it's time for him to leave" "Nice CD collection, can I play a couple?" "Make yourself at home!" We talked about music for a while, sharing our points of views on different kinds of music. It was like nothing had ever happened and we were able to talk about anything for hours. He made me laugh. After a while of doing nothing, I challenged him to some races on "Gran Turismo 2". We were having a lot of fun, especially since I lost each and every race. Well, not really, I won the first two, but only because he wasn't used to the Playstation controllers. Some time during that afternoon, we both fell silent. I couldn't stop thinking about how great everything seemed to be, how for the first time in ages, I didn't have a care in the world. Everything that had been bothering me had been solved or dealt with. I kept thinking about how things had turned out, how everything was out in the open. Ok, maybe not everything, there were still a couple of things to sort out. One of those details had a name. Martin, the nearly thirteen year old boy, who happened to be my boyfriend's younger brother and, at the same time, happened to have some sort of crush on me. Or was it something different? The boy was surely attracted to me, and he had no trouble showing it. The problem, I realized, was that he never admitted anything out loud. How could I approach the subject without making a terrible mistake? Even after all that time, I wasn't an inch closer to finding a solution. "Hey..." Mike interrupted my train of thought. "What?" I said, coming back to planet earth and realizing that "Event Horizon" had finished. "No, nothing" "If there's something you want to say, you better say it" I said as I looked at him, seeing a little pain in his eyes. "Do you trust me?" he asked, with deep concern in his voice. "What kind of question is that?" "I know you don't trust me, I know Sean doesn't trust me and I'm not sure how much Jay trusts me" "Meaning?" "Am I such a bad person?" "Why would you say that? Of course not!" "Then why is it so hard to trust me?" "I can't talk on behalf of the others, but you used to have feelings for me and you weren't too nice when you told me about it, but I'm over it. I haven't forgotten it, but I'm over it. I want to trust you, you could say that I do..." "But..." "But it's going to take some time. I'm sure Jay trusts you, and Sean just has to learn to trust you" "Ok, I just needed to know" "Are you ok?" "Yes, I just needed to figure out if it was because of the things I did or because of who I am" "Hey, you're a great guy and a good friend. There's nothing wrong with you" "Thanks, but after all the things that Sean said yesterday.." "It was a difficult moment for both of you, but he doesn't know you like I do. I know you are a great guy, just forget about it, ok?" I said and smiled, trying to get a smile back. "Ok. Thanks" and I got a shy smile back. "You don't have to thank me, I'm your friend" "Ok" he said and his smile grew a little bigger. "So... What is Jay like in bed?" I said as fast and clear as I could, making him choke and then he started coughing. He was red from so much coughing and he didn't seem to be able to breath. "I'm sorry, I was just kidding!" "That, cough, cough, was, cough, so low!" "I just wanted to change the subject" I said, but my laughter didn't make it sound too convincing. "You're paying for that!" "Like I paid with the cup of tea this morning? I'm too clever for you!" "Not this time! I'm getting you now!" he said, looking quite mad but with a semi psycho smile. "Stay away from me!" "No, I'm getting you!" "Don't come any closer!" I said as I moved behind the kitchen's table. "Stay right were you are!" "What if I don't?" "I.." I looked around to see what my options were and found the answer by the fridge. A jar full of water which I aimed at him. "You wouldn't dare!" he challenged me. "Oh, yes I would!" "No, you wouldn't!" "I would and I will!" he tried to catch me by the wrist, but I was too fast, and by the time his hand was touching me, the jar had been turned upside down over his head. "ARGH! You did it!" "I told you I would!" "You started it! Why do I get to be soaked?" "I told you not to come closer" "You think you're so smart?" he then started shaking like a dog trying to get rid of the excess of water. I covered my face from the drops of water coming my way, only to see him aiming his glass of coke at me. Before I could say anything, my face was splashed with the sticky liquid. "You got me!" I said, before we both cracked up laughing. "Now, I'm going to wash my hair and get changed, why don't you do the same? Oh, I'm sorry, you don't have any extra clothes!" "You are not going to lend me anything?" the look on his face made me laugh harder. "I don't know, I'll have to think about it" "Ha, ha, very funny! If you don't tell me what I can wear, I'll pick it myself!" "Ok, ok, you don't have to be such a whiner!" After we both had changed our clothes, I called the boys. "Hi, Steven! Can the guys stay over tonight?" Chris asked me. "I don't know. Why don't you let me talk to Sean?" "Sean is not here. He left with Jay a while ago" "Where did they go?" "I think they went back to Sean's house" "Ok, let me talk to Martin" "Ok, here he is" "Hi, are you sure you want to stay over?" "Yes, please!" "What about your brother?" "We are having a lot of fun, please, can we stay?" "Ok, as long as you both behave" "Can I invite someone else for Sunday?" "Who is it?" "It's Chris' neighbour. His name's Eric, can he come?" "Ok, no problem. Now, let me talk to Chris' mother" "She said she was ok with it if you were ok" "I know, I just want to talk to her" After making sure that Jay's mom was ok with it, I agreed to let them stay. I made sure they understood that if they didn't behave properly, I was supposed to go pick them up. It was at times like those when I couldn't help but admire Sarah and Jay's mom for being able to handle four children at one time. And now, they were six boys at Jay's. "We have the house all for ourselves!" Mike exclaimed. "Not so fast! Jay and Sean are already there" "So?" "Doesn' t it sound a little too weird to you?" "What do you mean?" "Nothing, let's go" We left a few minutes after that. We were still in a good mood, and we both had a hard time trying to keep it quiet. We laughed so hard and so loud that we got a lot of strange looks from the rest of the passengers in the bus. And old lady even tried to make us stop, but that only made me laugh harder. Every word she said, just made me laugh harder and harder. It was almost eight when we arrived. It was getting darker, but the day was still hot. Keeping up with the spirit of the last few hours, we were still laughing as we came through the door. Sean came rushing down the stairs as we were both going to the kitchen to grab something to drink. "Hi!" he said and amazingly enough, he kissed me on the cheek. "You're in a good mood! I'm glad to see that. Where's Jay?" "He's upstairs" "I'll go to say hi" "No, you have to wait here." "Why?" "You can't go upstairs." "I told you they had something up their minds" "How do you know?" "I'm just that smart" "Right!" he said cracking a little. "Ok, I'm not that smart. But it was a little convenient that the boys were staying over at Jay's and you were both here" "Jay told Alex to invite the boys" "And what's going on upstairs?" asked Mike. "You'll have to wait and see." "We are having a party" came Jay's voice from he hall. "Hi" Mike said before kissing Jay right on the lips. I could see the look on Sean's face, as much as he thought it was ok, it was still strange to see his brother kissing another man. "It doesn't have to freak you out" I whispered in his ear. "Was I staring?" he whispered back, as he turned around to look at me. "A little" I said with a smile. "Kiss me" he pleaded, I didn't understand why. Before I knew it, his tongue was invading my mouth, and we were sharing one of the wildest kisses we have ever had. It was amazing, feeling his need, his desire as he tried to push me back against the wall. Why was he doing that? "Hey, get a room!" I heard Jay shouting. "Ok, let's go to my room" I said. "Ouch!" Mike exclaimed. "Ok, enough of that, we are supposed to be having a party tonight" Jay added. "And who's coming?" "You are such a smart ass today!" Sean told me. "And why are you wearing that?" "Bad weather" Mike said, and we both cracked up once again. "Are you on something?" Jay asked. "NO! Of course not, we just had fun, that's all" Mike answered. "Ok, why don't you tell us about this party?" "We are having a party, but just the four of us" "Sounds like fun, is there anything to drink?" Mike asked. "A bottle of Vodka!" Jay said. "Wow, wow, wow, wait a second, who said anything about vodka?" "Oh, come on, forget about it for a night! It's a guy's night kind of thing!" Sean begged. "Have you ever even tasted vodka? I have and I'm not sure you can take it" "Ok, you'll decide when we've had enough, how about that?" "Ok. Deal" "Great! Let's go upstairs!" it was Jay and Sean's turn to get excited. I wasn't quite sure what the guys had in mind, but I was willing to go with it. A party sounded nice enough, and I was sure it would make everyone feel a lot more at ease around the others. Specially after the vodka. I had my doubts about letting them drink something like that, but just the thought of their faces as they took their first sip was going to be enough to make the night something to remember. They led us each by the hand upstairs. We got to Mike's room and both boys opened the door at the same time. Then they stepped aside to let us in. Mike's room was full of candles, lighting the room just enough for you to see were you were going. In any other moment, I would have looked kind of romantic, but not right then. I cracked up once more and they all turned to look at me. "What's so funny?" Sean asked me. "I'm sorry" I said, trying to hold back my laughs "It's just that the candles... isn't that a little over the top?" "It was Sean's idea" Jay informed me. "Ouch!" Mike said. "You'll be paying for that one later" "I'm sorry. They look good, really! I just wasn't expecting this" I tried to apologize. "It was the best way to light up the room without the real lights" "I know, I know. I'm sorry" "I'll forgive you if you dance with me." "Dance?" It was beginning to get a little weird. I would have had no problem to dance with him in private, it would have been nice and maybe even romantic. But in front of the others. I'm still not sure why, it's silly if you think about it, but I almost backed out. "Ok, I guess" Sean put a cassette in the stereo and a slow tune started playing. It was Save the best 'til last, by Vanessa Williams. The first attempt was a lot of fun. Neither of us could figure out where we were supposed to be holding the other. Mike started laughing a little, but I was dead serious. I just couldn't figure it out. Was I supposed to lead or was him? We tried to place our arms around each other, but it was uncomfortable. We finally got into a comfortable position, I was sort of leading, and he was sort of leading, too. He had one arm over my shoulder and the other around my waist. I placed my arms in the same way.It was kind of like hugging, kind of like waltzing. We figured it out, eventually. Sometimes he lead, sometimes I did. It was weird. It was so simple, and yet so different. what made it so strange? Beats me, I never figure it out. I guess it was the fact that we were dancing among boys ( a first for everyone present) or maybe it was that it was that it felt a little intimate. I don't know. But it was a great feeling also. The music, the lyrics, watching his face and his smile as we moved slowly against each other. Watching his eyes and being almost able to read his thought through them. Some time later, we both were looking at the other couple that was there. Jay and Mike were dancing close to each other, both their heads over the other's shoulder. Mike caught us staring and winked at us. Sean blushed and turned around. "Don't think about it. It doesn't have to be weird" "It isn't. not as much anyway" We continued dancing to the great tunes on the tape. Great work whoever had taken the time to put it together. It was one of the greatest nights of my life. It was that same night that Sean came up with our second song. I will never forget the song that was playing the night we got together. It will always be one of the most romantic songs ever, at least for me. But that new song reflected my every thought that night. Each one of my thoughts and feelings were described that night. I was just enjoying the moment, when he started singing along with it. I could feel his every word pouring right into my soul. He's certainly not an accomplished singer, but it was amazing. I've never felt so touched in my life. The song playing was the song from that movie, "Four weddings and a funeral", by Wetwetwet. For those of you who don't remember the lyrics, here's a little: I feel it in my fingers I feel it in my toes The love that's all around me And so the feeling grows It's written in the wind It's everywhere I go So if you really love me Come on and let it show You know I love you, I always will My mind's made up by the way that I feel There's no beginning, There'll be no end 'Cause on my love you can depend I see your face before me As I lay on my bed I cannot get to thinking Of all the things you said You gave your promise to me And I gave mine to you I need someone beside me In everything I do As each and every word he was saying poured into me, my lips kept inching closer and closer to his. My eyes were closed, and I felt a shudder down my spine the moment my lips touched his lips. The soft and tender feeling of those familiar and wonderful lips, pressed softly against mine. I could feel is hot breath on my upper lip, caressing me and making me feel even closer. Our lips still locked in the same position, neither attempting any movement, just enjoying the closeness. Little by little, we broke the kiss, only to be replaced by another just as tender and wonderful. Progressively becoming more passionate and full of life. It was amazing the way we were both trying to hold back, trying to prolong the feeling for as long as we could. It was him who first probed my lips with his tongue, only to be welcomed into a more powerful and intense kiss. We kept on kissing like that for over an hour, not even realizing when the side we where listening to finished and the other started. It was mind blowing. I remained fairly dazed for the rest of the night, even before I drank any of the vodka. It was Jay's gasp that made us turn around. He had taken his first sip of the Vodka and it had certainly burned a little. Mike started laughing, I know I found it funny, but I don't remember making any sounds. Mike offered me a glass and then another one to Sean, who was still holding my hand. "Try not to taste it with your tongue, just sip it hard" I told him. "Ok" and it sounded like music. After the first couple of glasses, which were not too big, we were all in a better mood. We started dancing and making fun of each other, making stupid coreographies and some of us almost falling. The alcohol was beginning to take it's toll on the younger guys, so I stopped them from drinking any more. Adding to my natural high, the alcohol was making me feel a little light headed and everything seemed funnier. I have never gone far enough to get sick or pass out so you could say that I know when to stop. After so much joking around, we settled by Mike's bed. I sat against the bed and Sean sat in between my legs, with his back against my chest. Jay sat on my left and Mike on my right. "What shall we do now?" I asked no one in particular while I put my arm around Sean. "Truth or Dare!" Came Jay's enthusiastic reply. ___________________________ Well, I did it again!
