Miguel Sanchez The Pilot III Shane and Robert's Life Chapter 2 Dad and I went into the kitchen and fixed dinner of oven fried chicken with corn on the cob. After everyone ate their fill Joey was covered in corn and butter. Dad took him into the bathroom and got him his bath. We watched television until it was time for bed then tried to sleep knowing tomorrow was going to be a rough day. The next morning the weather was already starting to deteriorate. Dad came in and woke us at 8 and said, "Come on boys, rise and shine. We got to get things buttoned up." I rolled over and stood up then headed to the bathroom with my morning wood leading the way. I came back into the bedroom and shook sleeping beauty. "Wakey wakey sleepy head," I said. "We got things to do love." "Ungh, ok baby," Robert said still looking like a zombie. I threw on a pair of boxers and went to fix Robert and me some coffee. No sooner had I sat down when Joey came calling. He jumped on my lap and my jewels weren't situated and got crushed. "Umph," I moaned as pain coursed through my balls. "I'm sorry Uncle Shane," he said trying to massage them into feeling better. His hand felt good and I was getting stiff so I moved his hand and said, "That's alright little guy." My erection continued to grow as Joey giggled saying, "You're getting a stiffy Uncle Shane." I kissed his head and went to find a pair of shorts. Robert was still in the bed as I entered. I put on my shorts and yanked the covers down saying, "Come on baby, your coffee is waiting on you. Joey's up, do you want me to send him in?" His eyes opened and said, "Alright baby, I'm up." I laughed as his bone stood tall almost making me forget about the work that had to be done. He got up and took his morning piss then dressed and joined us in the kitchen. After everyone had their coffee and Joey was fed, we set about the task of boarding up the patio door, dropping the shutters and clearing out all possible flying objects out of the back yard. When we came back inside Joey said, "Where's the sun light?" Billy and John held him as I turned on several lights so it would look like it was night time. Billy said, "The light is there but you just can't see it. Think of it as night time. We're all here with you son. Try not to be scared." Joey cuddled into Billy and said, "I'll try Daddy." By noon, it was raining steady and the winds were really getting strong. About two, there was a frantic knock on the front door. I got up to see who was there in this weather and I opened the door then immediately saw double. Standing there soaked were two boys that looked like they had been through a war. I brought the two boys in and said, "Robert, get some bath towels and Dad get the medic bag. What are you guys doing out in this weather?" "We were heading home and we were in a wreck," one boy said. "My parents had been out drinking and Dad lost control of the car and hit a big tree. We managed to get out of the car but they aren't moving." I looked at the boys and knew we had to go out and find the car. "What are your names?" I asked. "I'm Aaron Mitchell and this is my twin brother Jeremy," the slightly taller of the two said. We got them dry and I asked, "Where is the car?" "About four blocks up the road," Jeremy said. "Please sir, you gotta help them." I knew the intersection and so I had the boys stay at the house while I decided to go there. Dad was standing in his rain suit and said, "Here son, you're going to need this. Let's go so we can give dispatch an exact location." Dad and I left to find the car and sure enough it was smashed hard against a huge tree. Just as we pulled up the rain let up to a drizzle. I got on my cell phone and called 911 and reported the accident. I told them there were two injured and that they were going to need to be extricated. Dad and I put on rubber gloves and went to see how bad they were. I don't know why but the passenger window was open so Dad went to see if the woman had a pulse. He looked at me and said, "It's a miracle but this one is breathing and has a pulse." "Probably from the booze," I said sarcastically. "Can you tell if the man is?" My Dad had put on a little weight in his retirement and said, "No I can't, maybe you can." It had stopped raining so I took off the rain suit and leaned into the car to check on the man. "Oh fuck Dad," I said as I got whiff of his breath. "He smells like a distillery. He's breathing and his pulse is steady." I looked around as best I could and saw his left leg was broke. I saw a piece of bone sticking out of the side of his calf. As I slid out I looked at the woman but couldn't tell much. I got my blood pressure cuff and checked their vital signs and both had low pressures. "All we can do now is monitor them until fire rescue gets here," Dad said. I leaned back against the car and suddenly it dawned on me that their boys were at the house. "Dad, I'm going to call social services. Those boys are going to need foster care while their parents are in the hospital." "Good idea son," Dad said. I spoke with a social worker and explained the situation to her. She took the information down and said she would come out to the house as soon as she could. I heard the sirens in the distance so I knew help would be here soon. The first to arrive was the heavy rescue unit and they started assessing how best to get them out. I went over to one of the men and told them who we were. I said, "Both patients have been drinking and are unconscious. The man has a comminuted fracture of the lower left leg and his vital signs are B/P 90/58 with a pulse of 98 and respirations of 14. The woman's vitals are B/P 100/64 and she's tachy at 140 and her respiration is 12 with expiratory gurgling." The man thanked me for the information so I stepped back out of their way. I knew both these people needed to be airlifted but that wasn't going to be possible with the current weather conditions. The ambulance arrived just as they got the roof cut off. Once they arrived it was really getting crowded so Dad and I went home. When we arrived home, Robert had our guests dried and their clothes in the dryer. The boys were sipping hot chocolate and Joey was talking their ears off. I went over and introduced my self saying, "Hi boys. I see Robert has made you comfortable. I'm Shane Taylor and this is my father Buck. Where are you guys hurt?" I saw Robert had cleaned and dressed their cuts as Aaron said, "We're alright. Your brother fixed our cuts. What's happening with our parents?" I sat down beside them and said, "By now, they should be on their way to the hospital. Do you have any family in the area?" Jeremy looked up and said, "Just some grandparents out west, but they're really old." "How old are you boys?" Dad asked. Aaron smiled and said, "We're 14 and I'm the oldest." Jeremy slapped him and said, "Yeah, by three minutes jerk." `Yep, they're brothers,' I thought. I ruffled their hair then said, "I had to call social services." Aaron gasped and said, "Are they gonna put us in an orphanage?" "No son," Dad said calming the boy. "Shane, Robert and I are licensed foster parents. Since the only family you have is out of town, we'll be glad to be your foster parents until you Mom and Dad get out of the hospital." "I guess that will be alright," Aaron said. Robert heard the dryer stop and he went and got the boys their clothes. I looked at Dad and said, "Dad, do we still have my clothes when I was younger?" "I don't know son," he said. "They might be in the storage room." Robert and Billy went upstairs and searched while I talked more with the boys. Jeremy looked at me and said, "Which one of you will be our foster Dad?" I thought and said "We haven't thought about that but it will probably be either me or my brother. Why did you ask?" Jeremy giggled and said, "I think you're cuter than Robert." I turned red and said, "Thanks but my brother is good looking too." "Aaron smiled and said, "Yeah he is. Could you each be our foster Dads?" I hadn't thought about that and said, "I'll see what the social worker says." I couldn't believe how they referred to Robert and me. I would try and talk with them more once I knew what their status would be. Robert was coming down the stairs carrying a box when the doorbell rang. Dad got up and answered it and a woman said, "Mr. Taylor?" "Which one," my Dad asked. She looked at papers and said, "Mr. Shane Taylor." I stood up and said, "I'm Shane." The lady came in and said, "I'm Mrs. Walden from the Department of Children's and Family Services. I understand you have two boys here?" I explained the situation to her and she called Jackson Memorial and confirmed that there were a Jack and Joan Mitchell admitted to the Emergency Room and both would have to be admitted to the hospital. She hung up the phone and said, "It does appear that these two boys are going to need a foster home. You said you are foster parents?" "Yes ma'am," I said. "My brother, Dad and I are all foster parents." "With the storm coming there really isn't time to call around trying to find an emergency home," She said. "Would you be willing to foster them?" "We'd be glad to," I said smiling at the boys. She sat down and turned on her laptop and started typing. She had the boys go over to her and got some personal information and Jeremy said, "Can Shane be my foster Dad?" "Yeah," Aaron said "And can Robert be mine?" I was blushing as I heard the boys' questions. I looked at Robert and he was turning red too. She looked at their pleading eyes and said, "It's a little unusual but I guess we can do that. I'm assuming you all live here?" "Yes they do," Dad said. "We will have to do a little juggling but the boys will have their own room. We have 4 bedrooms with a room over the garage that's currently being used as a small playroom." "I see," she said. Are those others living here too?" "Just for the storm," I said. They don't have a generator and we do. We have one that runs the whole house." "Wonderful," she said as she printed some papers out. "If you and your brother will sign these papers I'll let you all get settled. I need to get back to the office and home as soon as I can." Robert looked up and said, "Is Linda Eggleston still there?" "Why yes she is," Mrs. Walden said. "She's the Director now. Do you know her?" "I sure do," Robert said. "She made Buck my foster Dad. I can't thank her enough. Can you tell her Robert Wright said hi and thanks for everything. That is if she remembers me." Mrs. Walden smiled and said, "I'll be sure to tell her you said hello." We signed the papers and the woman left. I looked at Joey and said, "Hey sport, will you be alright in the playroom?" "I I don't know Uncle Shane," he said. We went down the hall to where he was sleeping and Aaron said, "There's plenty of room in here Shane. There is a big bed there and another one for Joey." I looked at him and said, "I thought you guys would be happier with your own beds." Aaron said, "We've always slept together ever since we were younger. We had separate beds but we just slept together. Mom got a queen size bed for our room so we would have more room." "I guess that's settled," I said. We went though the clothes and got them a few outfits then John said, "Come on Billy, let's get dinner going." I was glad we went to the store and stocked up. About thirty minutes later Billy said, "Pizzas ready." We sat down and ate then went to see what was going on with the hurricane. I was in the kitchen with Robert when the boys came in and said, "Can we talk with you alone?" "Sure," I said. We all went into our room, closed the door and started to talk. I turned and saw Aaron and Jeremy holding hands and said, "You guys scared?" We saw what they were doing and Jeremy said, "A little but we tend to do this any time when we're together. Is that going to be a problem?" "Not at all," Robert said. "We used to do that a lot when we were younger." I saw them relax a little then Aaron said, "I hope you weren't offended with I said Robert was cute." Robert blushed when he heard that and I wasn't quite sure how to respond without being obvious. Robert said, "Thanks for the compliment. Is something bothering you guys? You seem to be beating around the bush here." The boys looked at each other then Aaron said, "Well we need to tell you something and if you want to have us live somewhere else after the storm we understand. "It's just that Jeremy and I are gay and we're lovers." I looked at the boys and said, "I sorta thought that with what you said about us before. Do your parents know this?" "Some of it," Jeremy said. "They know we're gay but not the fact we're lovers. Dad really hates it but Mom is pretty cool about it. She won't let him touch us because when we came out he went crazy and wanted to put us out. He said he wasn't having fags under his roof." "How long have you been out?" Robert asked. "About two years," Aaron said. "We started fooling around and well, we love each other." I smiled and said, "Well, we sure aren't going to be asking you to leave." Jeremy interrupted saying, "That's great. Can I ask you guys something?" Robert looked at me and said, "Sure, what do you want to know?" "Well it's like this," Aaron said not sure of how to ask the question. "Are you guys gay too?" I looked over to Robert and said smiling, "Can't get nothing by these two. Yeah boys, we are and we're lovers also. We fell in love when we were about your age. Before you ask, our Dad knows also. He's gay like us." "This is way cool," Jeremy said. "What about those other guys?" Robert giggled and said, "You hit the gay jackpot. John and Billy are lovers also. The only one we don't know about is Joey so be careful what you do around him. He knows we're all gay but he's only 10." "This is great," Aaron said. "We can be ourselves here and not be looked at like we're aliens or something." I stood up and Jeremy jumped into my arms hugging me. Aaron went to Robert and hugged him too. We went back out to the living room and Dad looked up at me and I mouthed to him, "It's alright." The boys came out with their arms around each other and Aaron said, "I we want to tell you all something. First off, thank you all for opening up your home to us. The next thing we want to say is that Aaron and I are gay. We just talked with Shane and Robert and told them." Dad looked at the boys and said, "I'm sure Shane told you about the family here and we're glad you are now a part of it." Joey jumped up in Jeremy's arms and said, "Wow, two more and they're cute too." Joey then kissed Jeremy on the cheek. Jeremy in turn tickled him on the ribs causing Joey to giggle. Jeremy looked at him and said, "Now what are you gonna do little guy?" "Help Uncle Shane," he said through fits of laughter. "I'm being molested again." I looked at him and said, "You got yourself into that problem, you get yourself out of it." Joey giggled and said, "Stop or I'll pee." Jeremy headed for the bathroom and said, "Go ahead, we'll just get a shower after you do." "Help hehe," Joey said. "Uncle, Aunt, Cousin, I surrender." Jeremy stopped his assault on Joey's ribs and set him down on the couch. Billy looked at him and said, "Looks like you've finally met your match son." Joey got up and ran behind Jeremy and reached in between his legs and grabbed him by his jewels. "Whoa dude, not fair," Jeremy said. If you don't stop I'll do the same to you." "OK," he said. Just wait until you're asleep. "Then you'll have to deal with the two of us," Aaron said. Dad went to watch a program on television and they were covering the impending hurricane. The weatherman said it was now a Category 3 hurricane and due to make landfall sometime in the early morning hours. I walked over and looked out the door and it was really blowing out there. Aaron said, "I'm glad we're here. We're really lucky we weren't hurt in the wreck," I scooted over to him and put my arm around his waist, "I'm glad you weren't hurt either. You two have a home here for as long as you need it." The lights started to flicker but we didn't hear the generator kick in so we must not have lost power. Joey jumped on Jeremy's lap and said, "You'll protect me, won't you?" "I sure will little guy," he said kissing him on the cheek. Jeremy giggled as Billy said, "You better get your bath now son." "OK Daddy," Joey said as he scurried down the hall. Joey had been in there for about ten minutes when Jeremy said, "I have to pee. Would it be a problem if I used the bathroom?" Dad looked at him and said, "When you gotta go, you gotta go. Joey's just taking a bath, go ahead son." Jeremy went in and Joey said, "Can you wash my back for me?" Jeremy lifted the toilet seat and pulled his dick out and said, "As soon as I get done here." Joey scooted up and said, "Oooo you got a nice one." Jeremy put his tool away and flushed the toilet saying, "Thanks, so do you. Jeremy kneeled by the tub at soaped the washcloth and proceeded to wash Joey's back. He rinsed him off and Joey said, "Thanks ah um, which one are you?" "I'm Jeremy," he said. "If you look closely at my nose you'll see a scar. I got that from Aaron when he bit me." "That wasn't very nice," Joey said as he let the water out of the tub. Jeremy handed him a towel and said, "Actually I was the one who wasn't very nice, I bit him on the butt." "Ouch," Joey said as he wrapped the towel around himself and started drying. "Can you help me?" Jeremy took the towel and started drying Joey's body. He did everything then said, "Here you go pal, you might want to dry your crotch yourself." Joey took the towel and rubbed his crotch some and said, "Thanks for the help." "No problem," Jeremy said as he opened the door and Joey padded down the hall in the nude. Aaron looked up and saw Joey heading out to the living room and said, "Looks like we have a little nudist here." Billy said, "We let him go like that at night. He did that when he was younger and it doesn't bother us." "He looks very cute," Aaron replied. Joey scooted up on Jeremy's lap and cuddled with his new friend. By ten, he was sound asleep so Jeremy carried him to bed. Billy and John came in to kiss their son and tuck him in. They partially closed the door and went back out to watch more on the incoming hurricane. By eleven it was clear nothing much was going to happen before morning so everyone called it a night. We all gave and got hugs and kisses and Aaron and Jeremy walked down the hall to their room. I said, "Guys, keep it down if you do anything, Joey is sleeping." "Alright Shane," Jeremy said "We can hold off a couple of days." Robert and I went to our room and did our nightly business before cuddling close to each other and drifting off to sleep. To be continued
