The Pilot III

Shane and Robert's Life

Chapter 29

I was yawning and Jeremy looked at me, "Hey Aaron, looks like the old man is
getting tired."

That got my eyes open and I quickly grabbed my boy and started tickling him
unmercifully. "Hehehehehe Daddy, stop hehehehehe please hehehehehe or I'll
pee."

I let him up and said, "So who's an old man?"

He was still giggling and said, "You."

I saw Robert yawning as he held Aaron. I reached my arms out and Jeremy came
to me. I gave him a hug then the other two and Dad reached his arms around
me and hugged me good night. Robert and I headed off to our bedroom for some
much needed sleep.

Down in the twins' room, the boys were now naked on top of the bed cuddling
and caressing each other. Jeremy looked at Jake and said "I want to feel
your dick in me love."

"Are you sure?" Jake asked. "I mean I will though."

Aaron pushed Jake onto his back and started sucking his soft dick bringing
it to life. Jeremy looked at Jake with both love and lust in his eyes, "Yes
Jake, I love you and I want to feel you in me."

Once Jake was hard, Aaron got the lube and started stretching Jeremy like
Robert had done to him the day before. Once Aaron had gotten three fingers
in Jeremy, he got down on all fours so Jake could enter him. Aaron lubed
Jake's dick then Jake lined up ready to enter the twin. As soon as Jeremy
felt Jake's dick touch him, he bore down as the older teen began to slip in.

Jeremy gasped as he felt Jeremy's 5+" slide in but he wasn't as wide as
Shane. "Mmmm," Jeremy moaned as Jake slowly bottomed out and his pubes
touched Jeremy's butt.

Jake started moving in and out and hitting Jeremy's prostate in the bargain.
Aaron was getting turned on by the sight so he wiggled under his brother so
they could suck each other. Jake wasn't long for the event as he felt his
balls start to churn. Aaron was enjoying the sight when he raised his eyes
and all too quickly he was nearing his release. Jake held back as long as he
could then he fired his load into Jeremy's bowels. When Jeremy felt this he
fired into Aaron's waiting mouth causing Aaron's release. All three boys
were cumming almost at the same time.

Jake had to force himself to stay on his knees so he wouldn't crush Aaron
who was still under Jeremy. Jake slid his deflating dick out of Jeremy's ass
then sat back so the twins could move. Jeremy hurried across the hall before
Jake's deposit came leaking out of his hole. He cleaned himself up then slid
back in bed beside Jake. Jeremy leaned over and kissed Jake passionately and
said, "Oh Jake, you felt so wonderful in me. I love you very much."

"I love you too Jeremy," Jake said as he turned and kissed Aaron as Jeremy
had just done to him.

The boys were now entwined around each other then they drifted off to sleep.
The boys slept soundly and Robert had to wake them for breakfast. When
Robert walked in he saw heads, arms and legs but had a hard time telling who
was who. He did recognize Aaron's butt so he tickled what he could. "Un
Dad," he groaned. "It's Saturday."

"It's also 10:30," Robert said. "Are you guys going to sleep all day?"

"I dunno," he replied.

"Well Granddad is holding your breakfast for you," Robert said as he yanked
the covers down. "Now come on guys."

"Oh alright Dad," Aaron moaned as he untangled himself from Jake.

Aaron sat up on the edge of the bed and saw a very inviting target beside
him. "Wake up lover," Aaron said as he slapped Jake on the ass. "Ouch that
stings."

"Hehehe," Jeremy giggled as he rolled away from Jake so he could sit up.

This gave Jake a target that he couldn't resist.

Smack "Hey," yelled Jeremy "That's my ass."

"I know," giggled Jake as he scooted over to the edge of the bed and kissed
Jeremy.

The three boys scooted across the hall as Robert came back into the kitchen.
"The boys are up now," Robert said grinning.

About that time three boys came walking into the kitchen. "Morning guys," I
said.

They sorta glared at me then Jeremy finally came over and gave me my morning
hug. After breakfast the boys went bike riding until it was time for Jake to
go home. The boys were gone about an hour when Aaron came running into the
house yelling, "Daddy, daddy come quick."

Robert and I both went out because we couldn't tell who was yelling. Robert
looked at his son as Aaron said, "Jeremy and Jake crashed."

"Calm down son," Robert said. "Now tell us what happened."

"We were riding and we came down the hill on our street and we started going
real fast," He said. "Jake hit a bump and he went up into Jeremy and they
both crashed."

I was heading for the Yukon guiding Aaron with me as Robert followed. Dad
was right behind us and he asked, "Which one is hurt?"

I opened the garage door and backed out of the garage then headed up the
street. About a half mile from the house at the bottom of the hill I saw the
boys. I pulled up and we got out as I headed for Jake and Dad went to
Jeremy.

Robert got my bag out of the back then called 911 and stayed with Aaron as
we checked out the others. Robert's next call was to Billy and John letting
them know about the boys' accident.

I carefully checked out Jake examining his neck first. As I was doing this,
Jake was telling me how he landed. I was comfortable with the way he was
sitting when I arrived that he was not seriously injured although I did want
him to be checked out at the hospital.

Dad was checking out Jeremy and he could tell something was wrong by the way
he was moaning in pain. I cleared Jake then went to assist Dad. Jeremy was
on his back and Jake had told me his legs got wrapped up in the bike. I
worked on his upper body and Dad took the lower.

I felt his neck and he winced a little so I held it still and had Robert get
me a cervical collar out of the kit. I put that on Jeremy then checked his
vitals. I felt his arms and he said they were sore but otherwise OK. Dad
started checking his legs and he saw signs of a fractured fibula.

In the distance I could hear the sirens of the approaching ambulance. I
looked at Jeremy and said, "Stay still son, it looks like you have a broken
leg.

Jake was somewhat in the way so I decided to get him standing. I stood up
then reached for his arm so I could assist him. He was holding his left arm
in an unusual position but I didn't give it a whole lot of thought until he
screamed as he felt gravity take it when he stood. I quickly took a look at
it then said, "Well son, you and Jeremy might be a pair of bookends with
broken bones."

I carefully felt his forearm and it seemed he had fractured it. I wasn't
sure which bone it was but I was sure that one, if not both had been
injured. I got him by Robert and sat him back down then went over to Jeremy.

When the ambulance arrived, a young EMT got out of the driver's seat and
yelled, "All right everyone, make a hole."

Dad looked at me and said, "Shit he's arrogant."

I reached into my back pocket and hung my shield in my belt but stood in
such a way it was hard to see. The paramedic went over to Jeremy when the
EMT tapped Dad on the back and said, "OK Gramps, out of the way."

The paramedic looked up at his partner and then saw me standing behind him
with my shield showing and shaking my head. "You better stick a sock in it
now partner."

"These civilians are in the way Gene," he said.

"I think you better listen to your partner," I said causing him to turn
around.

"And just who the hell . . . ," he started saying before he realized he just
shoved his foot into his mouth all the way to his thigh."

"Lt. Shane Taylor," I said. "That's who the hell I am."

"Ah sorry sir," he said. "This old guy is in my way."

"That old guy, as you refer to him is Capt. Buck Taylor, Metro Dade Fire
Rescue, retired," I said.

"Hi Sonny," my Dad said sarcastically.

His partner looked at him and said, "I've told you your mouth would get you
in trouble and this time, I'm not bailing you out."

"But," he stammered.

"But nothing now get the gear out of the rig and stay quiet," he said. "Do
you think you can manage that?"

He turned and got the bags and a few other things out as Gene said to Dad,
"Sorry Captain, he's always had a big mouth and now he's done it to himself.
I recognized you the minute I saw you. I've seen you picture at my station.
Is that your son?"

"Yep," Dad said smiling. "He just made Lieutenant too."

"That's wonderful," Gene said. "So what have we got here?"

"He's swollen around mid calf and extremely point tender here," Dad said
pointing to a spot on Jeremy's leg. "I'm almost sure he has a tib/fib
fracture. His vitals are stable BP is 135/82 pulse is a little rapid at 96
and his resps are 20."

He looked at the leg then began to softly examine it when Jeremy screamed
out in pain again. "I think you might very well be right Sir," Gene said. "I
think we should use a traction splint so the fracture doesn't go any
further."

"I agree," Buck said.

"Collins, get me the IV set ups and the drug box," Gene said. "Where are the
boy's parents? Have they been notified?"

"I'm his father," I said.

"You look awfully young to have a teenager Sir," Gene said.

"I'm not that young Gene," I said. "I adopted him and my brother adopted his
twin over there."

Gene looked over at Robert and Aaron standing there and said, "Oh wow man,
that's great. I'm going to start an IV in him then give him some pain
medication before I set the leg."

I looked at him and said, "That's fine, I'm a paramedic too."

"So that's why they were so calm when we arrived," he said smiling. "Collins
set me up and IV of normal saline."

The EMT quietly did as he was told, Gene looked at my boy then said, "You're
going to feel a stick then a short sting then it will be over. Just please
don't pull your arm away when I stick you or I'll have to do it again.
Alright?"

"Does it hurt more than a shot?" He asked as I saw apprehension building on
his face.

"Maybe just a little," Gene said as Dad was rubbing his other hand.

Dad looked down and said, "You just hold my hand and squeeze son if it
hurts."

Jeremy looked at Dad then to Gene and said, "A-alright."

Gene went into his bag for a couple of catheters then put the band around
Jeremy's arm. He looked at his veins then chose the cath he wanted to
insert. After removing it from the package, he looked at Jeremy and said,
"Alright big guy, here we go now, little stick."

He quickly hit the vein then slid the cath up. I handed him the IV tubing as
he slid the guide out, attached the end to the cath then removed the
tourniquet. I started the saline dripping as Gene covered the cath so it
wouldn't slide out. "I hope that didn't hurt too much son," Gene said
softly.

"It wasn't that bad," Jeremy said. "Granddad, my leg really hurts bad."

Gene pulled the drug box over and said, "I'm going to take care of that
right now kiddo. I'm going to give you something in your IV that will make
you drowsy." He looked up at me and said, "I'm going to give him some
Demerol and a little Phenergan."

I nodded my head then he took out a pre-filled syringe, added the Phenergan
from a small vile then injected it into the tubing. He slid the traction
splint over then took out a pair of scissors. Gene cut the leg of the shorts
so he could slide the splint on without them getting caught in the leg. Dad
carefully supported the leg and raised it as Gene slid the splint in place.
Dad strapped the top in place then Gene attached it around Jeremy's ankle.
Dad looked at Jeremy, who had his eyes closed and said, "This might hurt
some son."

Gene put some tension on the splint and Jeremy screamed as the pain hit him.
As soon as it was secure, my son seemed to relax again. I went to the back
of the rig to get a backboard and the stretcher. The EMT was standing there
and he said, "I owe you and your father a big apology. I'm sorry Sir."

I ignored his words and put the board on the stretcher and slid it out of
the ambulance. I brought it over to Gene and Dad then set the backboard on
the ground. We log rolled Jeremy onto his side then placed the board under
him. We eased him down onto it then lifted him onto the stretcher.

Dad and Gene strapped him onto the stretcher then I went back to Jake.
"How's the arm?"

"Hurts bad Uncle Shane," he said.

"Gene, got another one," I said walking him over to the rig. "Possible
fracture of the radius and ulnar."

Gene came over and examined him as I said, "His vitals are stable.

The EMT came over and gently slid on a B/P cuff then said, "B/P 126/84"

"Alright," Gene said. "I think we can jet splint the arm and I can give him
some Toredol IM. Are you allergic to anything?"

Gene rechecked his vitals then popped Jake quickly in the shoulder with the
pain medication. John and Billy were standing there watching in horror as
the boys went into the rig. I walked over to them, "Jake is gong to be fine.
He will have a cast on the arm for a while but he'll be OK. Billy, you
should remember that. John, you go and sit up front and I'll follow in the
truck. Dad, where are you going to ride?"

Gene looked at me and said, "Lieutenant, I'd like you to ride in here in
case I need an extra pair of hands."

"I guess that answers that question," I said. "Billy, you better follow in
your car because I don't think we're going to have room for everyone once
they are casted."

I then went over to Aaron and said, "He's going to be fine son."

"Oh I know," he said. "You and Granddad took good care of him. I just feel
bad because I was showing off as we came down the hill."

Robert kissed him and said, "Son, it was just an accident. Your brother
knows that."

"Yeah, I guess Daddy," he said.

Robert got Aaron into the Yukon and I went into the back of the rig. "Gene
looked at me and said, "Where do you want them taken?"

"Miami Children's," I said.

"Code 2 to Children's Collins," Gene said.

It took us about 10 minutes to get to the hospital. Jeremy was taken out of
the rig and wheeled into a treatment room and Jake was put into a wheelchair
then taken inside.

Once everything clamed down I asked Dad, "How did you do it with Robert and
me?"

"One day at a time and everything in stride," Dad said smiling. "It will
turn you grey but you'll love every minute of it, even times like this."

I'd been his parent for just a few weeks and his Dad for just a few days. I
was really wondering what the future held. Once the doctors looked over
Jeremy, one came out and said I could stay with him. A few minutes later one
doctor came over and said, "Let's look at these together."

He took the films out of the envelope and slid them onto the reader. As soon
as he turned on the light I saw the fracture. The bones were still in
perfect alignment then I said, "Looks like he'll get away with just a cast."

"That's right Lieutenant," the doctor said. "We'll get one of the orthopedic
residents to look at the films then get him casted. He'll need bed rest for
a while but I'm sure you know that already."

"Yeah, that I do," I said. "How's the other boy?"

I have his films here too. He put him up on the reader and there was a small
crack in the ulnar. Yep, they were both going to be in casts.

I went out and told the others the relatively good news. Aaron broke down
and said, "Look what I've done Daddy."

Robert led him to some chairs and sat down with him. "It was an accident
son. Let me ask you, did you deliberately mean for this to happen?"

He looked up at Robert, "No Daddy, honest."

"I didn't think so," he said wiping his tears away. I know you too well and
I also know how much you love your brother and Jake."

"But they're gonna hate me now," he said resting his head on Robert's
shoulder.

"I doubt that very seriously," he said kissing the side of his head. "Your
bother is gonna need you now, more than ever."

"I'll do anything for him Daddy," Aaron said softly.

"I know you will son," he said. "Look, here they come now."

We had been talking so long that both boys were being wheeled out of the
treatment room together. Aaron ran over to Jeremy and broke down saying,
"I'm so sorry bro."

"It's alright baby," Jeremy said stroking his hair. "It was an accident. I
know you didn't mean it. Now stop crying or you'll have me doing it."

When Billy came out of the bathroom and saw Jake in his cast he went over
there and cried, "Oh son, are you alright."

Jake kissed his Dad and, "Yes Dad, I'm fine. It just hurts like hell right
now."

He went over to Jeremy and said, "How are you son?"

"Like Jake," he said. "I hurt but otherwise I'm OK."

John ruffled Jakes hair a little, "This will be a familiar sight to my
parents, someone in a cast."

We got the prescriptions for the boys then wheeled them out to the vehicles.
I dropped one of the back seats down and put Jeremy in the back and he was
able to stretch out flat for the ride home. Aaron put the crutches in and
scooted next to his brother and we were ready to go.

After a stop by the pharmacy, we got our wounded children home. Dad told
Billy to go pick Joey up from the neighbor's house then come over for
dinner. When Billy and Joey arrived, Joey immediately went over and started
dotting on Jake and Jeremy getting them drinks, pillows and anything else
they wanted or needed.

Dad found a bed table for Jeremy and the others had their meals on TV tables
because they didn't want to leave Jeremy alone. Joey made the suggestion he
spend the night to help Jeremy then Jake said, "They'll be OK little bro.
They have all the help they need. But you can help me."

Joey ran over by Jake's side and said, "You know I will. I just thought
Jeremy would need me because he couldn't walk."

"You help your brother Joey," Jeremy said. "I have mine right here."

Dad looked at Billy and said, "I think your idea of adding another room is a
good idea."

"Yeah," Billy said. "But I don't think I could tear Joey and Jake apart
right now if my life depended on it. Did you see how he was waiting on both
the boys?"

"Yes I did, and that brought back a few memories too," Dad said smiling. "I
remember John waiting on you hand and foot when your leg was broken."

"Yeah," John said. "I think he would drink loads of soda just so he could
get me to help him pee."

"Speaking of peeing," I said as I got up heading for the bathroom. "Jeremy's
gonna need this."

I walked into their bedroom and tossed the jug to Jeremy saying, "Here is
your toilet for now son."

"Huh?" He said. "How do I use this?"

I smiled as I headed towards the door saying, "I'm sure you'll figure it
out."

John and Billy were giving Robert and Dad hugs as I walked out. "We're going
to have to head home bro," Billy said hugging me. "We still have to pick the
rents up at the airport tomorrow. Can you watch Jake if he's not up to
going?"

I kissed his cheek then said, "Won't they be in for a surprise? If Jake's
not up to going, bring him by, we'll be glad to watch him."

"Hehehe," John said coming down the hall with Joey and Jake. "That's for
sure. I just hope Mom don't faint."

Joey and Jake gave us hugs then they were off to their house. I went down to
the twins' room to see how Jeremy was doing and I saw him using the jug.
Aaron walked past me heading to the bathroom and said, "He figured it out."

"Dad, can you help me get these shorts off?" Jeremy asked.

I went over and he already had them loose from peeing. I finished wiggling
them over his hips then worked the shorts down over the cast. "You want your
underpants on of off son?" I asked looking at him."

"Off please," he said.

I slipped them off then asked, "How's the leg?"

"Starting to hurt Dad," he said.

I gave him one of the pain pills the doctor ordered and he took it with his
soda. "There you go son. Sleep well and I'll see you in the morning. If you
need anything, send Aaron to wake us up."

I gave both boys a kiss then went back to the living room. "How is he?"
Robert asked.

"He was starting to hurt so I gave him a pill," I said. "He'll be out soon
so you better say good night to him now."

I sat down on the couch and then it hit me as to just how tired I was. I'm
glad I was off tomorrow because I'm going to need the sleep. I didn't see
Dad go down the hall but he and Robert were coming back into the living room
then they sat down beside me. Dad leaned over and kissed me, "Why don't you
go to bed son?"

I had my head back and my eyes were closed as I said, "That means I gotta
move, don't it?"

"Hehehe," Dad giggled. "You're just a little too big for me to be carrying
to bed."

"Party pooper," I said just as I felt myself being picked up like a baby and
carried to our bedroom.

To be continued
