"The Priest That was Loved" - Chapter 13 - The Groupie
(Nifty/Gay/Adult-Youth)

Greyson

As always, the morning that I woke up, I had the urged to go to the Harry's
room to sneak a peak at him. But, I would, never, have the courage to do
that. I wouldn't want, caught red handed and labelled, as a creepy
priest. It made me chuckled when I ever think of it.

I had missed seeing him, the day before, at during dinner. Hayden told me,
that Harry had gone, for a night in town, with his best friends. They're
going for their gathering, at the club. So, he left, by the time I came
back from work, . I sure that Hayden had notice of my sullen face as I was
becoming silent instantaneously.

"Is everything alright Greyson." Hayden snapped me back to reality. It
seemed he did notice my mood change. "You are not at your normal self and
had been silent all evening." Hayden gave me that looked of uncertainty
with a frown on his forehead.

"Oh, sorry Hayden. It is nothing at all. It might be that I was just
feeling tired from work." I gave Hayden a lame excuse.

"Do not drag yourself to feel that way Greyson. It is, after all, going to
be the end of the day and you should cherish the moment. If not, it is
going to dampen your mood all night." Hayden was advising me. " If you keep
doing this and if you decide to get married and have a family, it might be
creating friction with your spouse and children." I do believe all that
Hayden had said, but I couldn't help, but to feel this way.

We ate, silently, at the table. Savoring the delicious palate of a perfect
dinner meal. Hayden noted that I didn't talk and was seem, concentrating on
the food in front of me. I did wonder, why was I feeling down at that
moment. Was it because that Harry wasn't with us that night? There's
something missing and I'm longing for it or him there? From the corner of
my eyes, I could see that Hayden was looking at me. Glancing occasionally
with a worried expression on his face.

"What time will Harry usually be back from his night out with his friends?"
That's first question, that I had asked of Hayden. I felt uneasy asking it
as I could see the frown on Hayden, forehead, as though asking me for my
motif for asking it. Was it alright for me to ask him that? It wasn't my
place to ask him. Nonetheless, I knew that he knew, that Harry and I was
friendly to one another.

"Well, usually he will be back home, around two or three o'clock in the
morning." Hayden replied. "But, it all depends, if whether they had any
other plans for the night." Hayden intensified the looked and continued.

"Sometimes, he and the boys will do sleepover at each other house. If
nothing, then he will be back home pronto. Do you need anything from
Harry?" He still had that hard look expression that he was giving me all
this while.

"I was thinking to head start with the discussion on the church youth
program with him tonight. But since he is not around, it can be done as per
schedule tomorrow." I replied, in an honest manner. However, I sighed in
relief, seeing Hayden face, to soften again. I don't want Hayden to know
that I was missing Harry that night. As I'm, accustomed to see Harry at
dinner, occurring every day.

"Can I be of any help to you, Greyson?" Hayden sincerely offered. I was,
delighted, to know that he's, willingly, be supportive in what I am
doing. He was a man of character as a person. Always, ready to help,
without asking for any favor to return. Throughout, I stayed with the
Hayden, he had been a fantastic host and individualistically, He was,
blessed, with a good warm heart.

"Why do not I run to you for an adult opinion after I had that discussion
with a youth." I was grinning, widely, at Hayden. And I felt, that I am
coming to self again. It seemed, that I was able, being, in my own skin,
when I talked with Hayden. He seemed, to sulk, with what I have said. I do
not, mean, to make him callous way. I, really, thought that he was angry,
but, I could see, at the corner, of his mouth, a smile was, visibly, in the
making.

"What? Am I too old for any youth matters?" Hayden rolled his eyes, as I
chuckled at his antics. He did look cute when he pouted his lips. I knew,
he was, just, joking and messing with me.

"Not, at all, it is just the generation gap issue. I'm, just, afraid that
your brain will get roasted from too much thinking." I laughed at my own
jokes and Hayden was, seen, chuckling, along with me. For a moment, I
thought that Hayden would get, offended, by it, but he seems to take it,
quiet well, indeed.

There's, a drastic, change of atmosphere at the dining table. Our, lively,
conversation had somehow, brushed, away, any awkwardness that we had felt,
heretofore. It was a wide range of, topic, that we've talked about, and,
even, we've got to know, more, of each other. However, there's one major
secret, that I am keeping from him, though, as it was, too, personal for
him to know.

Saturday morning, I was, feeling, more, cheerful, as I knew that Harry was
in his room, sleeping, the days. He should, felt tired, that he, even,
would forgo his breakfast. Hayden had, left, for work and had left, me, a
note. "Hey Greyson, I had to leave early as there is an emergency in the
hospital. I had already cooked breakfast and please finish it all as I
doubt that Harry will wake up for breakfast. My apologies if it had turned
cold. Hayden."

How sweet for him to do this for me. Basically, I'm a stranger to the
family. However, they had, me accommodated, and treating me, as though, I
am one of the family. I did embrace them whole heartily and am thankful
that GOD had lead me to them and for them. Together, they became part of my
journey in life. Especially, Harry, as I had, never, felt this strong
towards someone, then, I am with Harry. Having him, just, beside, me, was
enough to make me feel alive. Every day, I am, always, looking forward, to
have my moment with him.

I had finished with my breakfast. Instantaneously, I cleaned the table,
washed the dirty dishes, took my messenger bag, on the living room
couch. Then, grabbed my coat from the hanging rack, by the front door and
leave for work, with a smile on my face. By the way I am feeling, I walked
all the way to church, with, that the buoyancy in my every foot steps. It
was a fine, warm looking day, as the morning sun, shined, brightly, down on
me. The day would get better when I got to see Harry this afternoon, after
work.

The church was, not, always, at its full capacity of Saturday Masses. I
wondered why they had to organize it as I think a Sunday Mass will be
appropriate as its own. But the elders had explained, some parishioners had
requested for, a Saturday mass, to, cater, for those, not, able to, attend,
on Sunday. Some, even, preferred, for Saturday masses, as they would be
able to, get a seat, rather than, having, No place to sit on Sunday, due to
the full capacity of the church.

The church hall, usually, can fit, with two hundred people, and the Sunday
masses were, practically, overcrowded, with, practitioners, from, all over
town. I had a few glimpsed, of the masses, for a couple of months and it
was, truly, amazing to see the communities coming together to practice what
they preach to the almighty. Justly, to see their up most devotions to GOD
and our Lord Jesus Christ was overwhelmingly emotional and they had been,
very, welcoming towards me when they first saw me a few months ago.

I proceed, with, my obligation as a priest, giving sermons, of love and
peace, acceptance to GOD's and Lord Jesus Christ teachings. The church
choirs had sung beautifully the hymns together with the congregations. When
it all ends, everyone looked happy, elated and blessed. They, then,
obediently, leave the church, with, the entire congress, the priest
standing at the doorway, thanking them for their devotions and charitable
donations to the church.

Without much, further, delays, I quickly, gathered, my things from the
office to head home. On the way I make a stopover at the bakery to grab
some snacks of cakes and buns to share with Harry during the discussion. I
know that Harry will, not, be cooking any lunch and I might suggest to him
to order pizza or Mexican food. Especially, the Mexican tacos with pulled
beef or pork and the Cajun chicken burritos. Damn, I might convince him to
order that.

Within, half an hour, I've reached the front door. Immediately, I opened
the door and got, surprised, to see, in the living room, sprawling all over
the couch, bodies of hot and good looking, teenagers lounging while
watching television. Silently, I took off my coat and hang it on the coat
rack. Unintentionally, I, accidentally, slammed the main door, while, I was
closing it. They, immediately, turned their head in the direction of the
noise and saw me standing there speechless. All eight set of eyes was
staring at me. They looked as shocked as I, was, stunned, by the sound of
the door closing. Suddenly, I heard footsteps running from the kitchen and
I saw the angelic face that I had missed so much. Seeing his handsome face
and physical being, make my heart flustered with love.

"Hey Greyson." Harry cooed my name, with his angelic voice. I'm, enraptured
and bewitched by his presence as I did forthwith respond to his call,
right, off the bat. I kept on staring at him as though he was a magnificent
creature that GOD had grace upon me.

"Greyson, Greyson?" I've heard Harry called my name couple of times. It
snapped me, to realize, that I was gawking at him. I, immediately, looked
away, to hide, my blushed, from him and the rest of the guys. They were
still looking at me and Harry, unfolding the romantic scene like in a
movie, when "Harry Met Sally". I, nearly, chuckled at the thought.

"Sorry Harry, I was moping a while ago." I responded with a whisper that
was loud enough for him to hear me. "Whom do we have here?" I lifted my
head to look at him. The rest of the guys were smiling at me, unmoved from
their sitting position. They were one hell, of a good, looking and gorgeous
guys, sitting, casually, on the, couch, liken to, the models, of
"Abercrombie and Fitch" in a photo shoot.

"Well, they are my friends from school. Yesterday we kind of decided to
crash here for the night and they were willing to help too by giving
suggestion and opinion in regard to the youth program." Harry stared at
me. "I am sorry Greyson as I did not run to you first if it is alright for
them to help." Harry sounded apologetic as his puppy eyes were looking,
straight, at me. How could I be angry with that, kind, of look.

"It is definitely alright Harry." I tried, not, to sound, disappointed. As
I thought, I would have this moment, and be alone with Harry. Not, wanting
to, be a jerk, I, cheerfully, said, "More heads are still better than one."
I laughed while messing with his hair. "I appreciate the thoughts of your
friend Harry. Come on, introduce me to your friends." I patted him,
lightly, on his shoulder.

He, instantaneously, grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me towards the
living room. As his hand lingered with mine, the warmth, that it generated,
felt so comfortable. Did he do it, deliberately, without, care? Or, was it,
just, a spur of the moment? Whatever it is, I am not, really, sure of it
and I do, not, care at all. I was loving it so much.

"Guys, this is Father Greyson. And Greyson, this is the guys from
school. My best friend ever." He introduced me with the twins, first,
Jayden and Jordan, a totally, head turner. Next it was Issac, a solid
muscled, good looking boy and lastly Donovan, the cute nerd. They were
gorgeous in the own individuality's. But they are, not, as hot as Harry,
whom to me was a combination of them all in one body and soul.

Harry's was, cheerfully, introducing me when he realized that everyone was
looking at him and I simultaneously. Their eyes were wandering somewhere,
between, the both of us. Harry, turned to look at what they were gazing at
and when he and I realized, we immediately let go of our hands. Harry
started to blush and simultaneously grinning at his friends and muted the
word "What?" They were giving us the eyes and from the corner of their
mouth, they snickered at Harry.

I could, not, help myself from laughing, out, loud, looking at the state
Harry was in. The rest of the guys had joined me and that made Harry smile
and grinned wider. I break off the awkwardness by asking if they, already,
had lunch. They holler at the same time, said no and I suggested the
Mexican food. As they agreed, I had Harry, to place, the order for
everyone. While I went up to my room to wash up, and have a change of
clothing, into something, more, comfortable and appropriate.

I had myself, cleaned and change my clothing into a long dark blue "Adidas"
sweat pants and an "Ralf Laurent" light blue dickey shirt, I returned back
to the living room with the folder, intended for discussion. The food had
arrived and the guys were, just, waiting for me to join them to start with
lunch. I did, asked them who had paid for it and how much did it cost, but
the twins had me, no, it to bother, about, it as they had settled the
bills. It looked expensive, as they had ordered, more, they were suppose
to.

The food, was, set, on the table, together, with a few pitchers of ice cold
peach tea drinks. We, just, got ourselves seated, around, the table, with,
Harry, sitting close by my side. They had requested me, to say grace and
waited for me to take the first grab of food, before, they began and took
theirs. What a charming set of guys they are. Are they doing this because I
am older or I am a priest? No time to ponder and, just, to enjoy their
wonderful company and good food.

The mood at the table was cheery as everyone had contributed with their own
banters. It was, really, full of laughter and it makes me, to feel like a
teenager again. As I scanned, looking at, every, single one, of them and I
could see, that they were a tight group of friends. I had the privileged,
to get to know them, because of my Harry.

For, that, moment, we enjoyed each other company and when we had settle
eating lunch, we felt like a stuff turkey during the Christmas
Holiday. Everyone played a role in cleaning up the table and washing the
dishes. Within minutes everything was spotless. Harry and Jayden made a
fresh pitch, of the, ice, cold, peach tea drinks and, also, all the cakes
and savory buns, into the living room for everyone. As, a growing up boy,
though, they did say that they were full, they 're, actually, still got
room in, more, food. All the dessert cakes and buns were readily consumed
within fifteen minutes.

It was a good, prosperous and blessed day forward, for everyone. Thank you
GOD for letting us to have these, moments, together. Every one of them, had
ravishingly made me feel that I am in the groupie and I appreciated it so
much.

Now, back to the matter at hand...DAMN!
