Subject: The Retreat: Editor's Pause and Reflection

I must take a short moment to remember that at about this
time in the sequence of events, that a very tragic event
occurred.  Mark was traveling with family members to visit
other family members and the car he was riding in was
struck head on by a drunk driver and Mark was killed.  He
has been missed by all that knew him.  And will be
remembered for his instant smile and his open, warm
friendship he had for everyone.  And now a small tear still
escapes the eyes as I think of him.  A very stark reminder of
how fragile this thing we call life is!!

Sorry for the interruption of the story, but wanted to
remember this beautiful boy that touched my life in a very
special way!!
