At about 8ft the keyless entry system recognised me and the car unlocked
with its incredibly subtle horn and flashing lights. The boy jumped and
spun around on the spot straight into my view. I froze in shock. It was
him.

* * *

At first the boy looked absolutely petrified. Both he and I stood frozen to
the spot for completely different reasons. Fortunately the boy, my gorgeous
little bus stop boy, broke the silence. At first I was unable to hear what
he said. I simply stared as his silky soft perfect lips formed around the
harmonic sounds echoing out of them.

I tuned in.

"Mister I'm so sorry, are you ok?"

Eventually after what seemed a life time I unfroze and stuttered
embarrassingly with my answer.

"Hi, yes I, I don't know wh.., sorry let me start again."

And in my nicest kiddie-friendly voice, which came out of nowhere and
surprised me, I continued.

"I'm so sorry to have made you jump little guy, I shouldn't have crept up
on you, I was just a little worried you may have been trying to break in as
I left my cell fone on view."

I paused thinking how I could continue without one making a complete fool
of myself, and two scaring the living daylights out of him.

"Mister I, I would never do something like that to someone, I can explain,
please don't call the cops on me I promise on my life I wasn't going to do
that. Look I don't even have anything to break in with"

He held up his hands as if he was holding them up for a cleanliness
inspection. I looked deep into his ocean blue eyes and he looked almost
hurt that someone would think such an evil thing of him.

"Hey no, no, no don't worry little buddy I know I can see that I was just a
little worried at first because it's not my car but I can tell you're a
lovely little man and I apologise greatly for the scare."

The boy tilted his head and looked confused at me.

"It's not your car Mister?"

He asked with the cutest look of total confusion that made me melt and
smile.

"Oh well yes and no, I'm buying one of these cars very soon and the dealer
let me have a 24-hour test drive so that's why I was a little extra
worried."

His face changed with a look of half understanding and half impressed, with
what though I have no idea. I tried a change of tone and asked trying to
sound as interested and caring as possible whether he liked the car or not?
After all if he said no, it would be straight back to the dealership. God I
think if he had said actually I prefer Saturns (no offence Mr Saturn) I
would have bought one.

"Oh it's the most amazing car I've ever seen Mister, I'm really into cars
and stuff and this one I think is my favorite now I've seen it for real. I
was just looking what it was like inside coz the photo in my magazine
didn't show it."

I couldn't get over his angelic little voice trying so desperately to sound
grown up, although as he spoke he had the constant look about him as if I
was about to laugh at him and tell him to get lost. Oh sure like that's
gonna happen in this lifetime!

"Actually Mister I..."

"Me names Oliver buddy you don't have to call me Mister, don't think I'm
old enough to be a Mister yet I'm only 27."

"Oh ok sorry Oliver I just didn't want you to think I was rude or anything
coz my dad liked me being polite to everyone and one day I'll be a
gentleman."

He said sticking out his chest proudly for a few seconds, which then
collapsed into a gorgeous little giggle, at which point I almost sprung
wood on hearing that amazing little sound. Fortunately he quickly changed
his attention to my Labrador puppy Trooper, giving me a fleeting few
seconds to readjust and trap it in my underwear banning it from any future
appearances. I knelt down beside the boy trying not to be too close so he
would feel uncomfortable and not too far so I could maybe make the
slightest contact with him.

"You like him kiddo?"

"He's lovely Oliver what's his name?"

"Trooper, Trooper the li'l choccy lab."

"That's a cool name for a doggy. He looks really friendly. He wouldn't bite
would he?"

"Naa he would never bite a cute little thing like you."

I froze in horror realizing what I had just said and whatever sexual state
my dick had been in suddenly flopped in fear. A flood of relief flew
through me though as the boy smiled, for the first time showing two rows of
pearly white straight teeth. Yes one more thing to add onto the long list
of things the heart-melting boy that crouched one foot in front of me was
blessed with. Smiling he looked directly into my eyes with a look of dreamy
happiness followed by more angelic words.

"Thanks Oliver."

And he went back to playing with Trooper with a contented smile on his
face. Well that was a turn up for the books I thought. Thank heavens I was
crouching because the fold in my trousers did well to hide the now full-on
erection I had from that smile. Ok be brave Oliver here goes the next big
move.

"So little guy, do you come with a name-tag or am I going to have to
address you as Mr Perfect Gentleman from now on?"

I asked hoping for both a name and reassurance that I could at least talk
to him for a little bit longer.

"Sure, I'm Toby Denton and I'm 10 years and 1 week old"

He said beaming that someone actually cared what his name was.

"Wow Toby that's a lovely name for boy and 1 week? I was guessing about 6
days but not a whole week older than 10!"

I said smiling. He giggled again and smiling did something that had I not
been in a healthy condition could have caused a heart attack. He put his
soft, tiny little hand on top of mine and gave a little squeeze leaving it
there while he said,

"Thanks Oliver you're really kind... and very, very funny. I'm glad I got
to meet you and Trooper now my day's been really good."

Being incredibly brave and now incredibly worked up I gently turned my hand
over wrapped my fingers around his little hand and gave a gentle squeeze
back.

"And I am so happy I met you little Toby, in fact don't tell anyone this
coz it's kind of embarrassing, but you're my first friend I've had in this
town since I moved here 3 months ago!"

Toby smiled a dreamy appreciative smile showing that what I had just told
him meant a great deal to him.

"Oliver I'm very proud to be your first friend here."

He said shyly. I felt a bit bad about landing that on him. There he was
just observing a nice car when an old guy firstly comes and scares the
living daylights out of him and then five minutes later tells him he's his
only friend. Smooth move Oliver! I quickly changed the subject fearing I
may have just lost him.

"So Toby what's that book you've got?"

I asked for the first time noticing the pad on the grass near where we were
crouched.

"Oh that's just my drawing pad. I came here tonight hoping to draw some
trees or something pretty coz..."

He tapered off and looked at the ground shyly avoiding my gaze probably
thinking I was about to laugh at him being interested in drawing.

"Go on little dude I'm really interested, please don't be shy, you're my
little buddy remember?"

"Yeah sorry just normally people beat me up when I talk about drawing, just
I really like it, especially drawing nature. Drawing isn't cool; they think
it's really geeky and that I shouldn't do it. I thought maybe you'd laugh
at me or something."

He spoke looking at the ground and I could sense he was close to
tears. Being brave but in a caring, actually non-sexual way, I put my arm
around him and gently stroked my hand up and down his arm. At first he sat
solidly unsure of whether to resist, but quickly relaxed and he even leaned
into me.

"There's no need to be embarrassed of liking drawing. People that hurt you
because you like something different are very wrong. They are very bad
people and shouldn't make you unhappy or hurt you just to make themselves
look better. People like that are cowards and inhumane and don't deserve
the gift of life and freedom. You understand buddy?"

He nodded sadly still melting more and more into me.

"Don't ever give up doing something you like just because someone else
thinks it is wrong. You are your own little person and nobody has the
privilege to tell you what you can and cannot like. And if you think about
it if there weren't artists in the world think how much less culture there
would be. No Monet or Van Gogh. Heck we wouldn't even have buildings, even
architects have to be good artists to envision the buildings they are about
to design."

Toby mumbled something I couldn't quite make out.

"Sorry buddy?"

"That's what I want to be, an architect."

He said clearly this time looking in my eyes, his eyes full of tears. I
replied enthusiastically.

"That's great buddy what a fantastic career that would be to have. I think
it would be the perfect job for you. Hey could I maybe have a look at some
of your drawings in your pad, I'd really like to see them if that's ok?"

"Really would you?"

He replied searching my eyes for the truth.

"Of course I would please will you show me?"

His expression changed instantly, he wiped away the tears and his smile
shone through like the bright sun breaking through the rain clouds after a
heavy storm.

I reluctantly released him as he stood to retrieve his drawing pad. It felt
awfully cold without his body snuggled up to me even though he'd only been
there for a few moments. However when he returned I was slightly shocked,
and moved, by the fact he sat as close as he possibly could right along
side me. Then gently placing the book of drawings in my lap he leaned over
and opened the first page. On it he had drawn in the sweetest way possible
large colorful letters spelling out:

T O B Y ` S B O O K

O F I M A G I N A R Y

F R I E N D S

Each letter had been individually colored, patterned, and printed in a
different way from any other on the page. You could see this book meant an
awful lot to the little guy. Toby quickly slammed the book shut and looked
up at me blushing and horrified.

"What's up buddy aren't you gonna show me?"

I asked. He didn't respond but quickly stood up, tears once again filling
his eyes. He looked at me briefly face to face and quietly spoke
disappointedly.

"I'm sorry it's the wrong book please don't remember what you just saw. I
have to go. Thanks for being so nice to me. I won't forget you Oliver."

He turned breaking into tears and then he ran, as fast as he could, over
the road, down the sidewalk, and off into the distance towards the small
village. I sat mesmerized not fully contemplating he was gone. I couldn't
chase him, he was too far gone and even if I had caught up with him a man
chasing a crying boy that he didn't know, through the streets wasn't
exactly the best attention to draw to oneself.

I was still in a daze as I stepped into the driver's seat, having already
put Trooper in the back. Before the ignition had even been started I was
collapsed over the steering wheel in tears. Why did he run? I wouldn't have
thought any less of him drawing imaginary friends. Why can't he see I'm
genuine? I'm not going to hurt him, I just want him to love me, love me as
much as I already love him.

* * *

An hour later I was laying in a hot bath dozing away the events of the
day. Opening my eyes I could see in the other end of the bath was a boy. A
gorgeous boy. Blonde hair curtained down the middle, ocean blue eyes,
peachy soft skin and glossy silk lips. He sat facing me between my legs his
tiny little knees poking up slightly through the water in the position that
he sat. It was my boy. My little Toby. I reached forward and make contact
with one of those perfect legs. He lifted it gently and rested his calf on
my knee. I stroked tentatively up and down his shiny wet leg. Not one hair,
not even a grazing of peach fuzz blemished his smooth leg. His tiny little
toes wiggled seductively in front of my gaze. Slowly I leaned forward. I
ran my nose along the top of his tiny little boy foot, and then back ending
at this toes. My tongue slid out and stroked on the underside of every
little toe. I finished on his big toe opening my mouth and sucking in his
precious bit of flesh. The taste was heaven and he giggled happily,
contented that nothing was wrong with the world and what I was doing. I
continued to bathe his delicate morsel of a foot with my mouth, until
unwillingly he removed his foot from my imprisonment. He smiled sexily at
me and gently rolled himself forwards, his body covered in soapy suds like
an angel from high in the wispy clouds. His angelic little face became
level with me, and I sighed in ecstasy at the thought of him lowering his
head just slightly onto my quivering manhood. I stopped breathing as slowly
he opened his mouth tilting his head to reach my penis. His eyes never
broke contact with mine, constantly assuring me this is what he wanted to
do. His mouth encompassed my dickhead and closed silkily around it. My
breath caught in my chest and I groaned. My cum exploded all over. Groaning
I pumped out more and more spunk, load after load after load.

I reopened my eyes as I came down from my high. Before me sat an empty
bathtub save for a few straggles of man cum, and one pathetic lonely man's
body. I had returned to the world of friendlessness, loneliness, and
depression. There was no gorgeous boy sat in front of me. No blonde hair
curtained down the middle and no ocean blue eyes piercing into my soul. No
peachy soft skin to caress and glossy silk lips to kiss. I was alone once
more.

* * *

The following day, after little sleep, I left work early hoping upon all
hopes to see the little guy at the bus stop. As you can imagine my luck had
once again returned to its zero tolerance level and the stop was empty. I
decided not to wait around too long in case the familiar crowd came
hovering around the RRS again, and then found out I didn't actually have a
child at the school. I was just driving around looking for someone
else's. Once again I was disgusted at how much of a predator I seemed to be
turning into. The 24-hour test drive was almost up so I returned to the
dealership unwillingly. After all the car had not only been very
comfortable, fast, and a boy magnet. It had attracted my boy long enough to
find his name and share a cuddle. To be fair that was more than I had ever
done with a boy anyway so it wasn't like I regretted it.

At the dealership I decided, all the luck the car had bought me I was gonna
buy one. The dealer was a little too ecstatic at my decision. I guess I had
been a difficult one to crack. We went through the models, engine specs, I
chose the biggest engine the V8 supercharged as it would be a downgrade
from my BMW M3 almighty engine anyway I might as well go for the best. Now
color was an interesting one. I decided to go for a metallic fresh blue
that reminded me of Toby's gorgeous little eyes. After all I was buying the
car for his approval as well as mine. Extras included DVD player, Sat Nav,
stupidly large chrome alloys, and power assisted tailgate. Hey if you've
got it, flaunt it! The car was set to arrive on Friday, until then I was
back in the M3.

Pushing my luck I decided my next stop would be a run at the park where I
had met Toby. It was about the same time that I had started running
yesterday and Trooper was desperate for a run around. Once again he ditched
me for the bouncing piece of leather, only this time I was too depressed to
bother running up and attempting some form of conversation with the soccer
boys. Eight laps later, I was exhausted and headed back to the car shouting
for Trooper to follow. He could obviously tell I was upset and didn't seem
to contemplate arguing with me.

As I got to the car I turned and sighed looking at the empty spot Toby and
I had cuddled at the evening before. Turning back to the car something
white caught my attention. I did a double take and it was still there,
leaned up against the only tree nearby. It was a neatly rolled up piece of
white paper. A thin piece of red ribbon tied around it distinguished it to
not be trash. Intrigued I walked over to it and gently picked it up as if
afraid it would crumble from my hands it looked so delicate. Slowly I
pulled the ribbon apart being careful not to snap it. Then I unrolled the
piece of paper and gasped. On it was the most beautiful drawing I had ever
seen. A boy sat snuggled up in a man's lap, both watching the orange
sunset. Trees and flowers surrounded them. Two souls at one with nature,
and with each other. The boy was blonde and the man brunette. On the bottom
in neat schoolboy handwriting read the words:

to oliver this is a present for you from toby

My heart stopped beating. He had drawn this for me. He had drawn me holding
him. It had meant as much to him as it had to me. Where is he I have to
find him and hold him once more? I scanned the horizon but he did not
appear. Sitting on the ground in the same spot for the second time this
week I continued to gaze happily over my gift. So much effort had gone into
it. The lines, the shadows, the choices of color. It was obvious this boy
was very talented.

It was getting dark and I could barely see the picture any longer. Giving
up hope that Toby would be back that night I returned to the BMW. Inside I
gently lay the picture on the passenger seat and took out my business
card. It was the only thing I had on me that I could write on. On the back
of it I wrote:

Toby,

Thank you so much for

the picture I shall

treasure it forever.

Please stay safe.

>From your buddy,

Oliver.

I placed the card with the little red ribbon wrapped securely round it back
where the picture had once stood. Staring at it for a few moments, I looked
up to the skies almost praying they would let him get this message.

* * *

Walking in the front door I was greeted by my answering machine flashing
away. Pressing play I walked into the kitchen whilst listening to the
boring messages of my mother checking up on me, work informing me the new
catalogues had been printed, and some telesales card company interested in
offering me their wonderful services.

The TV that night was boring, so choosing the best out of a bad bunch I
opted for Will & Grace and snuggled up with Trooper under a blanket.

I had just dozed off when the phone rang. What the bloody nerve calling at
11.30pm I thought.

"Hello?"

There was silence followed by a little giggle.

"Hello is this a prank call or something?"

I asked rather annoyed at being woken up on a weeknight for someone else's
amusement.

"Hi Oliver. . . It's Toby. . . From the park"

I gasped realising who that sweet little giggle had belonged to and how bad
I now felt for scowling at it.

"Toby, buddy, are you ok? How did you... oh the card, right! Durr silly
me."

"Oliver I thought you gave me the card so I would ring you I'm sorry I
didn't mean to upset you I'll hang up now."

"Toby NO!!, Buddy I didn't mean that it's fantastic that you phoned me, I
just hadn't thought about it. Please don't hang up, please?"

I was sounding a bit desperate and that wasn't good.

"Ok Oliver I'll stay, I'm happy you wanted me to, I didn't want to hang up
your voice sounds so kind when you talk to me."

"Well that's coz you make me feel kind and happy when I'm with you little
guy."

He giggled again.

"Hey thank you so much for my picture it's wonderful, you know what I've
done with it?"

"Thrown it away?"

"What as if I'd do that to such a masterpiece. No I've taken one of my
Monet (copies) I had hung right above the fireplace out of its frame and
replaced it with yours. Now every time I look at the nice warm fire, I see
your picture and it makes me feel even warmer."

He giggled.

"You sound like you're in love with me or somethin'."

"Oh sorry buddy, just never really had someone do something as special as
draw me a picture before."

"Really? So Oliver, am I really your first friend here or you were just
saying that to make me feel better right?"

"No buddy you really are, I spent all my time working since I've moved in
here, haven't even met the neighbours yet."

"That's so cool I've never been anyone's first friend before."

"Well I'm glad it could be you little Toby. So when did you get my card?
Did you see me leave it?"

"Yea I was watchin you all night, I thought you'd never leave I was getting
a bit cold."

He giggled again and I chuckled.

"Sorry I was kinda hopin you'd show up."

"I thought you might be Oliver but I wanted it to be different tonight so
last night would stay special to me."

"Oh ok buddy I see what you mean."

There was a slight silence as both of us thought how to continue.

"Whatcha watchin' Ollie?"

The TV was still quietly on in the background, not that I'd noticed with
the pleasant distraction on the other end of the phone line.

"Will & Grace, there's nothing really on tonight though."

"Oh I like that it's funny, I really like Jack he's so sweet. Do you think
so?"

"Oh yeah buddy he's very funny. Oh hey you called me Ollie!"

"Yea I thought friends call each other nicknames? If you don't like it I
can call you Oliver again if you want?"

"No buddy I love it, no one's called me that since elementary school, and
that was a long time ago! What are you up to anyway buddy."

"Nuttin' just chattin' with my new best friend."

My heart again skipped a beat at hearing him call me that.

"Thanks Toby that means a lot to me."

"No problemo senoro!"

He said in a mock Spanish accent.

"Senoro?"

I laughed at his wording.

"You know what I mean Ollie."

"Yeah I know kiddo, so how come you're not in bed you've got school
tomorrow you know."

Wow didn't that sound parental of me!

"Coz I couldn't sleep without calling you first I ran home super fast so I
could do it but I got a bit lost coz I haven't lived here long either. And
anyway my grandpa doesn't care when I go to bed or what I do either."

"Oh your grandpa's lookin' after you tonight huh?"

There was a brief silence and I wondered if I'd said something wrong.

"Yeah he's pretty cool about stuff."

"So am I maybe going to see my favorite ickle guy again tomorrow?"

"Sorry Ollie but I can't I decided when I saw you running yesterday I wanna
be like you so I'm trying out for the running team tomorrow night. Then
Thursday night I've got soccer practise."

"Aww that's so sweet that you're doing that, do you like running? I noticed
yesterday you're a very quick runner."

"Yea it's cool but I like soccer more."

"I wish I could see you play I bet you're a super player."

"Well you probably won't want to but sometimes dads come and watch their
kids play at soccer practise, maybe could you come and watch me? I'd really
like it if you did."

"I'd love to come."

I replied almost too enthusiastically.

"But won't your dad be a bit concerned?"

"No he won't be there, none of them will, and I've already told him about
you."

"You have? And did he get angry or something?"

"No I think he would like you."

"Oh Ok buddy, so I go to Oakley Mount School right? What time?"

"Yea do you know where it is?"

"Sure do buddy can't miss all those bright red sweaters running around!"

He giggled again.

"Ok come at 5.30pm if it's ok please?"

"I'll be there on the dot buddy, and I can show you my new car."

"Wow it'll be here already? That's so cool."

"Yeah shiny blue, like my best friend's eyes."

"My eyes are blue too Ollie"

"I know buddy I didn't mean anyone else's."

"Oh silly me."

He giggled.

"I can't wait for Thursday Ollie."

"Me neither kiddo. Good luck tomorrow I'll be thinking about you."

I could almost feel him smiling brightly at that comment.

"Miss you already Ollie"

And he hung up.

See you Thursday my little angel. I said to no one.
