			      Trust Me Part 6

I was awoken with a slight tickling sensation on the tip of my
nose. I opened my eyes to discover that Cody's hair was the culprit as his
back was still firmly pressed against my chest and the top of his head
rested just a few inches under my chin. I leaned over the boy to take a
look at the clock on my nightstand. 7:00am. Under normal circumstances, I'd
lay in bed for another hour or two, but I was in no position to lay
around. I had to call my lawyer friend and get a better idea on exactly
what my options were when it came to this kid. What if he had other family
that wanted him? What if his brother refuses to give me custody? My head
started to spin just thinking about all the potential problems that could
make this delicate situation come crashing down like a house of cards. I
didn't want to lose him. Even the thought of it made my hand seek his hip
under the covers and pull him towards me. It was then that I noticed my
usual morning wood now pressed firmly against Cody's ass, covered only by
very tightly fitting pair of briefs. My cock twitched at the thought of
extending my digits another few inches past his waist and touching that
mysterious object that was this 14 year old boy's dick.

With much frustration, I summoned every ounce of willpower I had
and dragged myself out of bed before making one too many inapropriate
touches. I decided I'd get myself off in the bathroom before turning on the
shower and inevitably waking him up. I've known I was attracted to younger
boys for years, but I never thought I'd actually be in a situation where I
could act on those feelings. The types of feelings that burn red hot when
you're tugging away, but fade, along with a small piece of your
self-respect when you're done getting off. I lusted over this kid hard, but
I was still trying to be this "Good guy" that I was so desperately trying
to come across as... I didn't even know who I was trying to fool at this
point, Cody, or myself.

I turned on the shower and cranked out the hot water in an attempt
to fog the walls of the glass shower. There was no door seperating the
bathroom from the master bedroom and I'd rather not tempt the boy when I
have a hard enough time keeping my own desires in check. After my morning
routine, I'd reached up to grab a towel when I noticed there weren't any.

"Hey David? Do you want me to shower in the guest bathroom or?" Cody yelled
from the bed as the water shut off.

"Morning bud, and you can shower wherever you want. Hey, do you think you
could do me a favor and grab me a towel?"

"Yea," he said almost overly enthusiastic. He scampered off into the
hallway and returned within a few seconds. He then froze at the edge of the
entry way which connected the bedroom to the bathroom. "Do you want me to
close my eyes or?..."

"Oh!, don't worry Cody, the glass is fogged. Just throw it over the
shower door". I began to dry myself off whipping the towel to and fro
within the confinement of the glass stall. While drying my arms, I skimmed
the glass slightly with the whipping motion of the cloth, revealing a clear
window in contrast to the rest of the wet steamed glass. I peered through
the now translucent area of glass and found Cody staring right back at
me. Him in his briefs sitting on the sink top, gently swinging his feet
through the air, and myself, wrapping the towel around my waist while
giving him a questionable stare. "Sleep well?" I knew for a fact that he
did. He has this thing where his body slightly twitches througout the night
when he sleeps.

"Yep, your bed is so soft compared to the one in the spare
bedroom." I laughed aloud at the comment.

"Wow, you don't waste any time, do you? Already thinking ahead!" He
flashed a slight grin, as though he was caught in his little act of
deception.

"Well, it is... but yeah, sleeping together was nice." He looked at
the floor, as though almost embarrassed that he preferred to have a
sleeping buddy at such a late age in his youth.

"Yea, it was." I said while reaching over and ruffling his
hair. "So, what's your full name?" I asked, looking at him through the
mirror. He treated me with an awkward silence for a moment. He probably had
a first name only policy for quite some time before I came along.

	"Cody Bendixen. Why?"

"Well, I'm going to call my lawyer today and I just realized I
didn't even know your full name. No middle name, then?"

"David, no! I'll get taken awa-"

"Cody, relax. My lawyer is a friend of mine and I trust him. He
won't tell anyone, I'm just going to get some information on you. If you
currently have a legal guardian, things like that." He just sighed and
dropped his head to the ground, as though he was in doubt. "You know we
can't hide you here forever. I need to be your guardian if you're going to
stay here." He looked back up at me slowly with a very straight face.

"Y-You're going to be my guardian?..."

"Well... yeah, or at least that was my planning... Listen, I know
things have moved along super-fast and all, but I can't just drop you off
at the police stati-" He sprang up and hugged me with what felt like every
ounce of strength he had. "Ease up bud, I can't breathe over here. Come on,
you know better than to think I'd do that."

"I just didn't want to get my hopes up" he replied into my chest
with a very trembly and breaking voice. I returned the embrace and kissed
the top of his head while rubbing his back. It felt good to have such
unconditional love. All the more reason to cherish the person and not ruin
such feelings by letting my urges get the better of me. We stayed that way
for a while. I think he wanted to show his grattitude, even though I wanted
him to stay just as much, if not more, than he did.

"Go shower up, bud. I'll go get you a new towel ok?" I rubbed his
head until he broke his hold and looked up at me with teary red eyes.

"Thanks," is all he said as he moved his way to the shower and
turned on the water. I returned expecting he'd be waiting for me to give
him a towel, but I was shocked when I turned the corner... There he
was... Completely naked and wet, eyes closed, looking directly up into the
jets of the shower head. His blonde hair had once again curled and clung to
his forehead just as the night of when I happened to find him. His body
looked even smoother than before, with every inch of skin glistening from
water and light spilling out from the bedroom and into the bathroom. Apart
from a few scrapes from when he fell a few nights ago, his body looked
flawless. His body was obviously still getting over the lack of food as his
ribs slightly protruded when he arched his back to wash his hair. His hips,
like his ribs, were overly exentuated, again, due to lack of food. A
'feature' that would soon be rectified with a full fridge in the house. His
cock was a respectable 2.5 or so inches, as it was currently soft. He was
circumcised and the head hung around mid point on his balls. I guessed he
had pubes, but, possibly because of his light blonde hair, I couldn't quite
make them out at the moment. Although he had nearly zero visible body fat,
the little fat he did have all seemed to be located around his
backside. His ass didn't look 'plump' per se, but 'full' and firm. At that
exact moment, I think that was the part of him I wanted to touch the
most. I couldn't even begin to guess how long I sat and stared. It suddenly
occured to me that he had gone a while without moving or washing himself
and the beginning of steam had started collecting on the glass once
again. I looked up and saw Cody looking directly at me with a faint grin on
his face. Not as if seducing me, but rather fully trusting me.

"I'll just leave it here for ya." I threw the towel over the door
as he said nothing. I briskly walked out of the room as if I had been
caught doing somehting very forbidden. Even though the gesture was pure, I
now saw him completely naked and I doubted there would be much further
modesty in the future. Something that excited and worried me all at the
same time. Still, those fears were getting hushed in my head as I sat on
the couch and envisioned what I had just seen over and over again. My... my
possible son, completely nude... Perhaps now would be a good time to call
My lawyer Saul and clear my mind.

"Hello, can I speak to Saul, please?"

"David, my man! How's the storage units going? Are you explanding
yet? Do we need to put the city in it's place again with those zoning
laws?!" Saul was a great guy and a cut-throat lawyer. He managed to change
a few acres of residential area into commercial to accommodate my business
in its prime location. A lot of papers needed to be filed and a few
loop-holes needed to be exploited, but he got it done. He was proud of the
accomplishment and always brought it up whenever we spoke. I laughed at the
colorful phone greeting.

"No, no, not today. I actually wanted to talk to you about
adoption. Do you have any knowledge on the subject?"

"Adoption?... Well, I don't exactly deal in it every day but I'd
say I know my way around the laws. Adoption huh? I didn't figure an
entrepreneur in his 20s would have any interest in such things. Did
something happen in the family?"

"No, just a certain... situation has presented itself. Believe me,
I didn't have any interest in this either just a few nights ago. Do you
think you can look up a name for me and give me the rundown on anything I
should know about?"

"Oh, you have someone in mind. Let me just get a pen here.. Okay,
shoot"

	"Cody Bendixon, age 14."

"Alright, boss, I'll get right on it. Is later tonight a good time
to contact you?"

"Yeah, as soon as you can please. Also, Saul, I'd appreciate if you
kept this between the two of us, if that is alright. Can I count on you to
do that?"

"A gossiping lawyer is a broke one, my friend. Consider it top
secret." His laid back style of talking to clients was something I
appreciated. It seemed to take away a bit of the nervousness involved in
the whole dilemma, which was more than welcome. With that, I ended the call
and felt I was one step closer to our goal.

"So, did he sound okay with keeping it a secret?" I was unaware
that Cody was sitting on the stairs, listening in on the conversation. I
got up and walked over to the stairs and sat down with him in his black
briefs. His body was still damp from his morning shower, and his hair was
still lightly curled in that way I loved so much. I put my arm around his
shoulder.

"Yeah, he was totally fine with it. Why were you eavesdropping?"
His eyes dropped to the floor, aware that such an action could be
considered rude.

"I just wanted to make sure you weren't holding anything back
because of me. Sorry." He finished that sentence looking back into my
eyes. I tried to envision our lives six months down the road, if this did
in fact go off without a hitch. I wondered if I'd ever be able to
appropriately punish him if he ever misbehaved. Those blue eyes, the light
freckles dusted across his face, that slight grin he flashed when he was
unsure or nervous. I couldn't even imagine being angry with him for more
than a few minutes at a time.

"It's fine, it was hardly private." His face stayed the same,
unsure, as though he wanted to ask something but couldn't. "Something the
matter?" My hand wandered and found itself placed directly on top of his
own.

"It's just..." His gaze dropped to the floor once more, biting his
lip as he formed his thoughts into questions. "What if something goes
wrong? What if you can't adopt me? Where would I even go? I don't want to
be anywhere else but here." He tightened his grip on my hand, probably
trying to picture a world without me in it. I was unsure of how to
respond. I wish I knew all the details surrounding him, and the law, but
the truth was I didn't. Still, I knew myself well enough to know that, when
I really wanted something, I'd get it; and considering that I've never
wanted anything more than this, I was confident that this would sort itself
out.

"Don't worry about that right now, bud. I generally get what I
want, and I really want you to stay here with me." I smiled to reassure him
a bit as he once again flashed that wary yet optimistic grin. "Now, how do
you feel about getting breakfast somewhere?"

"Yeah, sure. I'm ready when you are." I purposefully looked him up
and down before commenting.

"You've heard of the no shoes, no shirt, no pants, no service rule,
right?" He laughed at the comment while leaning back against the stairs,
showing off that very thin stomach that oh so desprately needed some fat on
it.

"It'll only take a sec' for me to get dressed, be right back."

**************************************************************************************************************************

The ride to the place I had in mind was fairly quiet. Although a
lot rested on the news Saul was going to be giving me later tonight, I
overall had a positive outlook on things. Cody, although holding his chin
up, was not quite as relaxed as I was. I tried to engage him a bit and get
his mind off of the subject at hand. "So what kind of music do you like?"
He seemed surprised by the random trivial question.

"Uhh, I don't know, the stuff you play sounds cool... Oh! I like
InnerPartySystem. You heard of em?"

"Yea, I like their stuff quite a bit. I have a few of their songs
on my iPod. Hmm, what was the name of your first crush?"

"Is this 20 questions or something?" He asked in a playful manner.

"Just getting to know ya, is all. We can take turns asking
questions if you'd like". He seemed intrigued by the idea, and agreed
rather quickly. I suddenly grew slightly concerned as to what types of
questions these were going to turn into.

"My first crush was a friend named Zach. We were 9 or 10 or
something. "I remember..." He paused for a moment.

	"What? What do you remember?"

"It's just kind of embarrassing," He shot back.

"Oh, come on. What's the worst that can happen?"

"Alright, well, one time when I was staying the night at his house,
he fell asleep way before I did. I didn't really know what gay was, but I
knew I liked him a lot and wanted to see him naked. So.. I sorta snuck a
peek." He laced his hands togeher and placed them in his lap while leaning
back against the seat. It almost looked as though he was confessing to a
shrink, which made me laugh to myself. "Wow, I've never told anyone that."

"Well, thanks for letting me be the first to hear." I reached over
and rubbed his leg for a moment before returning to the ten-and-two
position on the steering wheel. "Is that the first time you ever really did
something with a boy?"

"Yeah, it was...That was two questions, so now I get two." He said
with a devilish grin on his face.

"Oh boy, alright. Go easy on me, we just started the game."

"When was the first time you did something with a guy?"

"No asking the same questions right back! That's cheating." I said
with absolute conviction.

"Well, my next question will be my own, but you didn't say that in
the beginning... So you have to answer!" He declared while jokingly
pointing a finger at me from the passenger seat.

"Fine, fine... The boy's name was Connor." I didn't feel like
getting into this now, so I thought I'd try to leave it at that.

"AND?" he said after a while of silence.

	"'And', what?"

"Oh come on. How old were you, how did it happen. You asked me and
I answered, remember?"

"All I asked was who your first crush was, sir. I didn't ask you
any of this stuff"

"You asked me if that was my first time doing something with a
guy!"

"But you voluntarily gave me all that info about sneaking a peek
and such. I never asked for any of that." I was sounding more and more like
I was younger than Cody was. At this point, I might as well have just told
him. I could just see the curiosity burning in his eyes and could tell he,
more than likely, was not letting this go. He then gave me a slightly
annoyed face.

"Are you really going to make me waste my second question on the
details, or are you just going to tell me?" I sighed at that, knowing that
I had once again lost a verbal battle to the boy. I was quiet for a moment.

"His name was Connor and we met online. I was 18, he was
15. Although I always liked younger guys, I'd never really had the
opportunity to act on it, so I was a bit late to the gay scene. So we talk
for around 4 or 5 months, and everything seems great. He's really smart,
funny, and responsible for his age. He had a job at a Six Flags amusement
park and everything. So, after a while we finally decide to meet up and
have our first date... at the amusement park. I look back on it now and
laugh as I realize he probably would have liked to have gone somewhere
else, but it just seemed too perfect to pass up. So, yeah, we meet up and
the night is amazing. One of the best nights ever for me, actually. The
rides, the atmosphere, this incredibly smart and gorgous boy that I just
happened to stumble upon and, by some miracle, was totally unclaimed. We
wound up kissing quite a bit that night. He was horrible at it, but the
fact that it was both of our firsts with another guy made it that much more
meaningful... It was a really awesome night."

"That sounds great.. What happened to him?"

"Well, that's where the story gets tragic. A few weeks after our
meet-up, his mom finds our messages on his phone. I don't even know how she
managed that, but she did. She called me early in the morning. I was
sleeping in that day so I didn't answer, but she left me a voicemail that
still haunts me to this day. She said that she found out everything, knew
my name, where I lived, and what we had been doing. She said that if I ever
tried to contact him again, she'd call the police and have me thrown in
jail... I called her later in the day, completely terrified and unsure if
she would even accept my call. It's probably the most helpless I've ever
felt in my life. To my surprise, she answered. She said I was sick, that
all I was feeling was lust, and insisted that nothing like me could ever
feel something real. I sat there and listened to all her abuse, with only
the hope that she would grant me one last goodbye to Connor. She answered
my question with a stern 'NO' and listened to me as I did my best to hold
back my tears. She started saying something again, but I hung up the
phone... I felt sad, angry, and completely broken. Although the
confrontation rattled me up a bit, I thought in the back of my mind 'he'll
call me. What we have is real. He wont let his mom ruin this'. That thought
stayed with me for hours, then days, then weeks... I'd say the thought died
around a month...

"Wow, I'm so sorry David... Do you know where he is now?"

"Yea, in the military... I wrote him a letter and always kept it
with me in my wallet. Basically, it was just saying goodbye on a more
positive note. Saying that what I felt was real, that I wished he called
me, instead of letting me twist in the wind. I started going back to the
park every year on the same day as our first date... I know that it's kind
of creepy, but it wasn't like that. He showed me the gamebooth he ran
inside the park. Every year I'd go, and every year, he was running that
exact same booth and game. I planned on finally giving him that letter when
he turned 18 so his mother could no longer legally keep me at bay. So the
day finally came. I went to the park, went to the booth... and he was
gone. He no longer worked there. The worst part is that I found him on
facebook shortly after and the person I spoke to wasn't even the same
person. He was this loud, arrogant piece of shit that didn't know what to
do in life and joined the military on a whim. I then realized that over the
course of 3 years, the person I met might as well have died..." I turned on
the radio for the rest of our trip.
