Brief Recap of Chapter 10 of WESTBRIDGE SPIRIT

FRANK

Patrick was so worried about Phillip and even the boys that he was
practically buzzing with nerves. I left Richard in the library talking on
the phone to Walter as I gently guided my lover up to our room. He needed
a distraction and I had what I was sure would be a perfect one. Patrick is
so adorable and caring, not like any other man I ever knew or dated. I
can't explain what I am feeling except to call it love. It may sound silly
because we've only known each other for a short time but I believe it is
real.

Once in our room, I took Patrick in my arms and kissed him long and
passionately. He moaned and pressed his young body against mine. I could
feel his erection rubbing on my thigh and it made me even harder and more
excited, Never in my life have I ever felt this way about someone so much
younger than myself. My greatest hope was that this wonderful boy cared
for me in the same way. I would be crushed if he didn't love me like I do
him.

WESTBRIDGE SPIRIT: CHPTER ELEVEN (11)

FRANK

Patrick loves the feel of my arms around him and shows me by moaning and
grinding against me. I just continued kissing as we walked over to the
bed. Easing our bodies down, we undressed each other with a tenderness and
love that surprised me. His young body turns me on more than I can explain
as I kissed his tender nipples. Patrick squirmed and moaned under my
hungry mouth. My warm hand had already begun stroking his hard throbbing
organ causing small puddle of precum to form on his stomach. Greedily I
lapped up every drop as I moved further down his body to the base of his
cock.

Using my right hand, I held it firmly while my lips caressed the knob
before sliding down slowly to the base. Rewarded with more groans of
pleasure, I moved up and down, increasing the speed and suction until he
moaned he was cumming. Pulling back to the head, I swallowed each and
every sweet drop as he filled my mouth with his cream. With his last body
spasm, I moved my hard-on up to his waiting lips. Eagerly, Patrick took it
in and sucked on it greedily. Sliding in and out, I was also using my
moistened fingers to loosen his tight boy pussy. He moaned at the initial
intrusion but soon was pushing back on my hand.

When I felt he was ready, I moved between his thighs and entered his fiery
tunnel making sure it was providing the right amount of pleasure. His ass
was squeezing tightly as I reached bottom and swirled it around a bit.
Patrick loved to be fucked and moaned when I pulled out to start my rhythm.
He met each forward thrust with a small grunt and a glazed look of desire.
I was very close after giving him so much attention earlier but strove to
last as long as I could. Patrick used his muscles to milk me to a shorter
than expected orgasm deep in his ass.

We lay that way for several minutes recovering from our heated action just
relishing the closeness of each other. Giving him a deep tongue kiss, I
gently withdrew and dragged us to the bathroom to shower. In the bathroom,
we played and kissed until we were clean then dried each other thoroughly.
Not bothering to put on anything, we simply crawled under the comforters
and snuggled close drifting off to sleep after only a few minutes.

PHILLIP

Thanks to Mr. Grant, we were escorted to an early morning emergency court
hearing for us to talk to a judge. Frank, Patrick, Richard, and even
Maybrook had chose to attend to provide any character references that we
might need. We entered the room and rose as the Honorable Judge David
Pastor entered and took his seat. The new assistant state's attorney
presented what limited information they had found on Kyle and Campbell
Jeffreys and their plan to place them in foster care.

"Your honor, I represent Phillip Khant and Richard Oates, the young men who
found these boys. They would like to petition to become their foster
fathers." he said forcefully.

The judge decided to interview each of us on the stand and I was called
first. State's attorney Chasen asked me directly, "Is it true Mr. Khant
that you wish to become the guardian for these boys? What do you feel are
your qualifications?"

Speaking clearly, I responded that we hade found these boys abandoned at a
roadside restaurant. Kyle had been injured slipping on the ice and I
comforted him during the medical treatment. He wouldn't speak to anyone
without myself or Richard present and we got him to reveal the location of
his younger brother. I also pointed out that last year, we formally
adopted young Patrick, who was a ward of Marie Westbridge-Crowell. He
appeared to be adjusting well to being with us and could provide more
evidence of our suitability.

"Ah, yes. I believe that I signed off on that adoption. So sorry I didn't
recognize your names." the judge commented.

After a few questions for both attorneys, Richard was interviewed next. He
repeated the same information and insisted that the boys would be better
with us because we could keep them together. Indicating the ring on his
finger, he informed the court that he and I would be married as soon as our
state had finalized the updated laws. Being an only child, he understood
the importance of trust and felt the boys trusted us more than anyone they
had met so far. A couple of additional remarks and he was dismissed.

Frank was called since he worked and lived in our household. Although the
nature of his relationship with Patrick was omitted, he spoke candidly of
how much we loved each other and doted over Patrick. Being a student of
adolescent psychology, he was able to bring a clinical viewpoint into how
well he felt the boys would thrive in our care. After he finished,
Maybrook was interviewed as an additional employee and character
witness. His testimony echoed what had been said by others except he felt
that we were far better qualified than some individuals he had known.

Eventually, Patrick was called to speak with the judge privately in his
chambers. Looking nervous, Alfred assured him all he had to do was be
honest but avoid his involvement with Frank. Following the bailiff, he
left the courtroom and we waited while they conversed. Finally, Kyle and
Campbell were taken to see the judge as well. He spent the longest time
with them making certain that they understood what was going on concerning
them and their future. After what seemed like an eternity, Judge Pastor
announced he was resting for one hour to think over his decision.

One hour later, the bailiff called us back into the courtroom and we rose
once more. The judge entered and took his seat, giving no outward
indication of what he intended to say. He than declared that he had
reviewed the given statements as well as the intake interview with the
hospital social worker. Informing us that the mother had been located in a
psych ward for attacking several individuals at a local liquor store. It
was not her first offense and her parental rights had already been in the
process of being terminated, which he did, effective immediately. More
importantly to us came the best part of his entire ruling.

"Well, after reviewing the previous case, reviewing their family history,
and talking with the boys," he began, "I have decided to grant the petition
for custody of Kyle and Campbell Jeffreys to be placed in the care of
Phillip Khant and Richard Oates."

"Thank you, sir." Alfred said graciously.

The judge continued, "I know you live in Chicago, so I have already had my
clerk forward the necessary paperwork to the family courts there to ensure
the proper legal requirements are in force. Now, that is my ruling, so
I'll have Kyle and Campbell brought out to you and you can take them home.
Good night and good luck."

We thanked the judge for his decision and waited for the boys in the lobby.
When they saw us sitting there, both boys ran over and threw their arms
around Richard and I. Both them boys were crying and squeezing us for dear
life. Getting them back into the limo, we went back to the restaurant and
had a nice dinner before returning to the manor. We even stopped at an
all-night superstore to pick up some additional clothing since we couldn't
get the neighbor to allow us to retrieve their belongings. The police said
they would go obtain those items tomorrow with a court order and ship those
items to our Chicago address. Once at the manor, Patrick and Richard
helped settle them into a quick bath and then put them in a room next to
Richard and I.

While they were busy, I phoned Uncle Walter and informed him of the new
arrivals. Although shocked, he said we could stay with he and Oliver until
we could locate a larger place for all of us to live. My mom chimed in
that she was excited to see her new grandchildren. I told them we were
leaving a few days early to make the adjustment easier for the boys. After
that was over, I joined Richard and Patrick with Kyle and Campbell. Both
were very nervous so I agreed to stay in their room until they fell asleep.
Lying on the bed with one boy on either side, we all soon fell into a deep
sleep.

A few days later, Maybrook sent us off to the airport with a big breakfast
and some homemade cinnamon rolls for the trip. I was impressed that he had
been able to organize our return trip with such speed and efficiency. He
looked sad to see us go but I assured him I would be back to review the
results from the paranormal investigation. I also asked him to keep me
abreast of anything that might occur and, if he needed to leave for his own
safety, he could without repercussions. His well-being was more important
than the house and he needed to understand that idea. Our new voyage home
as a larger family began with excitement and anticipation.

A NEW FAMILY UNIT

Arriving home, we were met at the airport by Uncles Walter and Oliver and
my mother Genevieve and Daniel. We had to send Patrick and Frank ahead so
that the boys wouldn't be overwhelmed. By the time the baggage had been
gathered by Walter's personal butler, Mark, we had the boys ready to meet
the rest of the family. Mom was wonderful with them as she hunkered down
to their level and talked very sweetly. They seemed to warm up to her and
Oliver was just as charming with them while Walter and Daniel looked on
protectively.

Gathering everyone in the limo, we headed over to Walter and Oliver's house
for the night. He had contacted a real estate agent who had found several
potential homes for the increased size of our family. Kyle and Campbell
were a little surprised at the size of the place until I explained it
belonged to Walter. They asked where we were gonna live and I said we'd
figure that out in the morning. Mom and Oliver settled them into bed so
the rest of us could relax.

Once the boys were asleep, all the adults gathered around the table to
discuss the living arrangement. Mom and my stepfather, Daniel, had their
own apartment but it only had one extra bedroom, which Daniel's son, Aaron,
stayed when he visited during his visitation stays. He was the only child
Daniel and his former wife, Sarah, had. Walter and Oliver had plenty of
room and would have loved the company of children but I wanted to be on our
own turf. Our apartment wasn't really large enough for all of us, even if
Frank slept with Patrick in one room. We had already contacted Donna
Brandt, a real estate agent and lesbian friend of Walter's to help us.

She arrived early the following morning with a large book of listings that
she thought would fit our family. As we searched through them, it became
evident that too many of the locations were outside the city proper. Since
I worked downtown and Richard went to the University of Chicago, we really
wanted to stay in the city limits. Also Patrick had just been enrolled in
the Greenbriar Boys Preparatory School so we wanted to stay close by.

Just then, she discovered a listing for the only other apartment on the
floor of the building where we lived. It was available and the condo
guidelines allowed for a consolidation of the spaces provided the board
approved the plans beforehand. This meant we would own the entire floor
and be able to configure it any way we wished. Jumping on that listing,
she submitted a reasonable offer and within a couple of hours was accepted.
Now we had to locate an approved architect and have plans provided for the
board's review to have our new home. It was decided that we would remain
with Oliver and Walter while construction was being done.

Patrick was set to begin school and we had to have Kyle and Campbell tested
to see where they would start. Both turned out to be highly intelligent
and soon were enrolled in the same school as their big brother. Frank was
going to move in full-time and was due to finish his Master's Thesis and
would now be an associate professor at the university. Because Frank would
be working more outside the house, we decided to arrange for a new live-in
housekeeper.

Construction began in earnest two months later following numerous meetings
with the condo board. We planned for 2 large master suites, 1 large room
for the boys and 2 additional bedroom plus the other requisite amenities.
Paying extra for early completion, the architect made certain that there
were few delays or modifications that would slow the process even further.
By the time we reached October, the renovations were finally complete and
we moved in right before Halloween. Our new live-in was another young
college undergrad, 21 year-old Collin Dawson. He was pursuing his degree
in hotel management so our job was helpful in several ways

It was wonderful since both the restaurant and home life was going so
smoothly. How much longer could things go on like this? I was afraid to
even think about it as we held a small, family moving-in celebration in our
new living room.

In the corner of the room was a dark cloud hovering near the ceiling. It
had followed us ever since they had the New Year's Eve party at the manor.
So far it was just observing the events of the couple that first attracted
its attention. Quinn's spirit was watching over the boys as well but even
he didn't sense the evil lingering in the air. He was focused on the love
being displayed within the walls of this home.

The changes were initially very small, almost insignificant. Things like
misplaced keys, lights going on or off, strange sounds and sudden chills in
some places. Most could be easily dismissed as overactive imagination or
misinterpretation, even bad memory. As the weeks went on, the took on a
more sinister and unsettling turn right around Christmas.

The most upsetting event so far had been the destruction of the new glass
ornaments bought for our new tree. The boxes were unwrapped and found to
be shattered in millions of little pieces. This occurred twice before we
had intact decorations ready to hang. Lights continued to flash on and off
with impeccably poor timing, usually when it was most dangerous. Up to
this point, no one had been hurt but I was getting quite worried.

Receiving a call from the Hudson Valley Paranormal Society (HVPS), I
arranged for them to bring their results here so I could review them.
Jackson Rhebus entered the room and immediately fell into a trance. He had
been unaware, until recently, that he was psychic and now functioned as a
medium also. Placing him gently on the sofa, he spoke in a flat, steady
tone revealing that there were a least two spirit energies in this
apartment. One, he was very certain, was loving and protective but the
other, he felt, was much more angry and potentially harmful.

WINDY CITY PSYCHIC SEEKERS

This meant another investigation but they didn't have any of their
detection gear. Ace called a local group, the Windy City Psychic Seekers,
to conduct the study. His college roommate ran the group for the last ten
years and was more than willing to help out. He brought his gear and two
additional crew since some of his people were unavailable. Here is a
rundown of those individuals:

1) Wesley Powell -- Director and founder of WCPS
			-- 49 year-old married, psychology professor
-- Father of 2 boys and 1 girl
			-- Resident of Schaumburg, Illinois

2) Bridget Hawks -- 2nd year graduate student and electronics specialist
-- Doctoral student in electrical engineering
-- 25 year-old single female from St. Louis,
Missouri
			-- Confirmed lesbian

3) Gavin Zylitch -- 1st year graduate student and computer specialist
-- Doctoral student in computerized physics
			-- 24 year-old involved male from Louisville,
Kentucky
-- Confirmed homosexual in a 6 year relationship

Wes and his group were thrilled to be reunited with Ace and the other
members of the HVPS. This would be the first cooperative investigation
between them and it looked to be intriguing. We moved back to Walter's
home for a few days, allowing the researchers full access to the space
without our intrusions. Ace had briefed Wes and his crew about the events
recorded at Westbridge Manor. He went so far as to mention the fainting
episode and related dream his two crew members experienced. No one would
be going into this project without being prepared for any potential
occurrences.

Neil and Zach poured over historical research of the building site and
personal information about the former residents. This was standard
procedure to see if there might be any lingering energy from past events or
individual auras. They came across two reports of fatal accidents that
occurred during the construction of the building. Both were rather odd and
unexplained with little or no reason yet discovered. Jackson, however,
felt these events had nothing to do with the spiritual energy he was
detecting.

The team completed their work after four days and vacated our home for us
to return. We really wanted to know what they discovered but it would need
to be analyzed before they could present it. So life went on as though
nothing off was happening in our home. None of us felt anything different
except the craziness of adjusting to the new dynamic of our much larger
family.

MAYBROOK

When Phillip and his brood left the manor, I was secretly terrified for
their safety. Not knowing how to express that I contacted Ace of the HVPS
to give him my concerns and impressions. One thing I neglected to mention
was the slight dark cloud that appeared to be following the limo as it
pulled away. The air at the estate did seem to lighten but why was that
mass tailing the vehicle. I hoped that nothing unpleasant followed my
loved ones. There would be nothing that I could do to stop it.

Richard called me to check on my welfare but I sensed he really needed to
talk. After the pleasantries finished, I inquired how the family was
getting along. His voice changed, especially when he talked about the
renovated condo. Something was quite right but nobody could figure out
exactly what it was. When he mentioned the HVPS coming in, my blood became
like ice. I knew at that moment what that dark cloud was and what it might
be planning. Saying farewell, I immediately phoned Ace on his private line
to explain what I had seen. He was shocked but promised to handle it with
help from friends in Chicago.

How I hope that he and his friends can help my family. They deserve to be
deliriously happy.

TO BE CONTINUED...

This chapter was necessary to provide background for the return of the
paranormal investigation group and their discoveries. Also, the negative
aura may be causing some of the potential difficulties in upcoming
episodes, so keep reading. I also want to say that I will be back to this
story soon as I need to return to my other story for a little bit. Thank
you for your continued support and encouragement.
