Subject: Logan and Brendan part 5

Here is another installment.  I am very pleased with the response I have

Chapter 9

	As he said, Logan came by and picked Brendan up each morning for
school.  They seemed to always be together, after everyone discovered their
secret.  The name calling and whispers had died down a bit, but there were
still those few numskulls who thought it funny to make fun of anyone
different from themselves.  The school was more accepting than anyone would
have thought.  Each day passed and Logan and Brendan became closer and
closer.  They ran into a problem a few weeks later, however.
	"Brendan, what do you wanna do tonight?" Logan asked as he stared
into Brendan's eyes.
	"Um, I'm not sure...I think I have something to do with my parents
tonight." Brendan said with that thoughtful look of his, on his face.
	"Oh, okay." Logan said sounding disappointed.
	"I will be thinking of you though, Lo...if that's any consolation."
Brendan said as he grabbed Logan's hand and kissed it.
	"Aww, shucks." Logan said, blushing.
	Logan pulled up to Brendan's house.  "Talk to you later then,
Bren." Logan said and kissed Brendan.
	"Yah...later." Brendan said with a smile.  He opened the door and
stepped out of Logan's car.  Logan drove off wondering what he was going to
do..now that he couldn't be with Brendan.  He pulled up to his own house
and got out of the car.  As he walked into the house, he saw his mom,
leaving.  "Where you going mom?" Logan asked.
	"I have to go out of town...business you know..I left you a note on
the fridge." His mom said as she hurried to get into her car.
	"When will you be back?" Logan asked
	"In a few days...be good, there's money on the counter.  I love
you," She blew Logan a kiss and the drove off.  The house all to
myself...and Bren won't be here to share it with me Logan thought to
himself.  Logan walked into the house and went to the kitchen.  He glanced
at the note his mom left, and then picked up the money from the counter.
	Logan took a shower and then decided to head out.  A movie sounded
good, so he checked the paper for what was playing and then headed to the
theater. He had 5 minutes before the movie started so he hurried.  He found
a seat and sat down as the movie was beginning.  He noticed two guys about
three rows ahead of him making out.  I wish Brendan was here to make out
with..Logan thought to himself.  He tried to watch the movie, but the two
guys held his attention.  The two guys broke off, and Logan about passed
out.  One of the guys was Brendan.  Logan stood up and walked over to him.
"A night with your parents huh." Logan said trying not to be too loud.
Brendan was startled and couldn't say anything.  "Whatever!" Logan said and
walked out of the movie theater...mad as hell.

Chapter 10
	Logan got into his car and started to pull out when he saw Brendan
running after him.  "I really don't care to hear what you have to say
Bren." Logan said coldly.
	"Logan...look, you know that I love you...I...I just needed some
time away from you." Brendan said shyly.
	"So you go and make out with some piece of shit guy."  Logan
returned yelling.
	"He's a really nice guy....and, besides...that doesn't matter...I
love you Logan." Brendan said starting to cry.
	"You have a funny way of showing it!" Logan said and drove off,
leaving Brendan standing there in the parking lot...crying.
	The next morning Logan did not go by Brendan's to pick him up.  As
he sat in homeroom he wondered when Brendan was going to show up.  Logan
went to Biology and about ten minutes into the class, Brendan walked in.
He walked over to the table that he and Logan shared and sat down.  Logan
didn't even look at him.  "Lo...I'm really sorry about last night...I
really do love you." Brendan said hanging his head.
	"Yah...whatever." Logan said still not looking at Brendan.  The
boys sat through the rest of the period without saying anything.  When the
bell rang, Logan got up and walked out of the class without so much as a
glance at Brendan.  When in the hall, Logan saw a familiar guy.
	"Hey..you...what's your name?"  Logan yelled down the hall.
	"Me...?" the guy asked.
	"No..your mama." Logan retorted.
	"My name is Dan."  the boy said shyly.  Logan walked up to him.
	"It is you..you were at the movies last night with Brendan." Logan
said..now yelling.
	"Ummm, yah..I guess I was." Dan said and tried to walk away.  Logan
grabbed his shoulder and turned him around.  He punched him in the
shoulder.
	"No...Logan....STOP!" Brendan yelled running to stop the fight.
	"That will be your face next time, buddy." Logan said as he started
to walk away "Remember....Brendan is mine....and I don't share."  Logan
walked down the hall, and Brendan ran after him.
	"Logan.....I know you're mad....but you shouldn't have hit
Dan..he's a nice guy, and I asked him out." Brendan said quickening his
pace to keep up with Logan.
	"Oh really....then you must really 'love' me" Logan said
sarcastically.
	"I do....Logan, I do love you....what do you want me to do...how
can I show you?"  Brendan said tugging on Logan's shirt.  Brendan grabbed
Logan and kissed him.  "There does that show you...I kissed you right here
in front of everyone..that should prove my love." Brendan pleaded with
Logan.
	"I need some time." Logan said and walked out of the building,
leaving Brendan standing there...shocked.
