Ethan's Journal

Justin did come over and hang out with Kai Tyler and Me. It was cool except

arm.

Justin's team won that night 3-0 and the following week they won 4-0.
Coach Lambert was grateful for all the work that Ethan had been doing and

other teen to look away.

Justin was tall and lean, the hoody he was wearing was loose making him
look thinner, still the big kid's friend was smart enough to know that the

Justin was still staring at Austin, daring him to stare back, he took a
step towards him, "C'mon Austin you gonna let your boyfriend tell you what

Kai came up to Justin and gently put his hand on Justin's shoulder and
pulled him back, "Justin it's not worth it, let's go."

After they had taken a few steps Austin mumbled, "Fucking fags.".

Justin stopped and turn around, Kai grabbed his arm to stop him but Justin

play football?".

Justin had another couple of secrets, he liked to fight. That's how he and
Rico became friends. Instead of exchanging verbal taunts they had started
by throwing punches at each other. Eventually they started to respect each
other and their friendship grew from their early battles. Everyone knows
Justin doesn't like football players but what many people don't know is

would get him trouble. He got into the fight with the lineman in the weight

"Good.", Justin said he as turned away.

When he got back to Kai and Tyler, Kai was about to say something and
Justin cut him off, "I hate football players. Where were you guys going?"

Kai sighed, "We were headed to the bus stop, when we ran into them.".

Justin nodded, "I'll give you a ride."

Tyler finally recovered, "Aw Justin, does this mean we're BFFs now?"

"No, you'll always be a BFD to me Tyler.", Justin said.

you to get your ass kicked I would have.", Justin explained, "Do they go
your school?".

Kai shook his head, "God, Tyler shut up already.".

They had reached car, Justin only rolled his eyes, "Just get in the fucking
car, Tyler".

Kai waited until Justin had dropped Tyler off before trying to talk about
the whole parking lot thing, "I want to thank you for helping Tyler and I
but you know you didn't need to hit that kid. He had let us go."

Justin shrugged, "No I didn't have to hit him but I wanted to. Besides he
needed to be hit and if he hadn't dropped like the sack of shit that he
was, I would have hit him again.".

Kai shook his head, "Then what's difference between you and him? You know
Justin violence begets violence."

"He asked for it Kai, assholes like him go around starting shit because no
one stands up to them. I don't play like that. Got it.", Justin's tone of
voice implied the discussion was over.

Kai understood now why Ethan didn't like to make Justin mad, he could be a
little scary, "Okay, we can talk about something else then, did Ethan tell
you about Tyler and I?".

Justin shuddered on the inside and replied uncomfortably, now he wished
they could go back to talking about fighting, "Yeah he did say something
about you two um...well taking it to a new level.".

Kai could tell Jusitn was a little uneasy talking about it, "Yeah and I
wanted to thank you again for our talk that night, it really helped me put
things in perspective.".

"No problem. I mean it's not what I do best but happy I could help."

"Hey I was wondering, Ethan said you might be able to help me with
something else.", Kai said.

"Sure what's up.", Justin asked, unsure how else he could help Kai.

didn't want him to get in trouble for fighting.", Kai explained.

"Yeah I suppose. You know we chatted last night, he said he ran into you at
the mall and that he gave you a ride home but nothing about saving your
butt.", Ethan said.

"That's odd, maybe he didn't want to worry you or maybe it wasn't that
important to him. Or maybe he's like Captain Homo and he's always going

Ethan laughed, "Yeah I could see that, I'll be sure to call him 'Captain
Homo' the next time I see him, he'll love it.".

Kai smiled, "Please don't tell him I came up with it but you know it would

"It could be really cool. So you and Tyler do any more...", Ethan finished

Kai laughed, "No! And you would think it's been years listening to him go
