THE ULTIMATE MUSCLE HUNK CHALLENGE, PART 2
The audience roared as the camera panned over the four flexing muscle hunks
who had entered the Ultimate Muscle Hunk Challenge: Peter Cox, the
20-year-old model in blue; Rod Dixon, the 18-year-old ranching hunk from
Texas in red; Jack Offerman, the 28-year-old bodybuilder from New york in
white; and Dick Hardman, the 30-year-old actor and bodybuilder from
California in gold.
"We'll go to a quick commercial break," said co-host Alex. "But don't go
away; when we come back, the competition begins with Stage One of our
Ultimate Muscle Hunk obstacle course. Can any of these four men prevail?
Find out right after these messages!"
As the show goes to commercial, I wait impatiently for the show to
continue. The commercials are annoying and seemingly endless. Popcorn
chicken. Retractible awnings. Adverts for ridiculous shows starring "stars"
I've never heard of. Finally, the program starts.
"Welcome back to the Ultimate Muscle Hunk Challenge. I'm your co-host, Alex
Matthews," says the hunky brunette host.
"And I'm Scott O'Donnell," finishes the equally hunky blond host. "Tonight
we're commencing our search for the ultimate muscle hunk: the one man in
America who has the strength, skill, charisma, and testicular fortitude to
face our obstacles and become the Ultimate Muscle Hunk, with a chance at a
half a millions dollars at stake."
"That's right, Scott, and our first challenge is a tough one: a grueling
obstacle course here in our studio that will pit these men against one
another in a race to the finish. Each of the four contestants will get his
chance to complete the obstacle course in as little time as possible. This
particular obstacle course is designed to push each man's upper body
strength to the absolute limits."
The two hosts, standing side by side in business suits, are a striking
contrast to the half-clothed men lined up in front of them. Scott, the
blonde host, walks up to the line of hunky challengers, and says,"Peter,
you've been randomly selected to face the obstacle course first. Anything
you'd like to say to the viewers at home?"
Peter shakes his handsome head. "Just... I hope I can do my hometown
proud. I think I'm up to the challenge."
As the hosts wish Peter good luck, Peter walks to the left-hand side of the
stage, where the obstacle course will begin. As the camera pans wide, I see
a large obstacle course has been set up on the stage. The course includes
ramps, balance beams, ropes hanging from the ceiling, a cargo net,
gymnastic rings, and several unidentifiable pieces of equipment.
A whistle blows, and Peter races up a ramp to begin the first leg of the
obstacle course. The studio audience cheers him on. Meanwhile, the hosts
chatter. "Cox is off to a good start, as he's powering up that ramp."
"That's right, Alex. But he's going to have to maintain that speed to
remain competitive. Now he's reached the first obstacle on the course, the
Ring Bearer. He's going to have to lift himself onto the gymnastic rings
and hold a vertical position for four minutes, or else he will receive a
5-minute penalty. Let's watch."
As they talk, Peter jumps and grabs the gymnastic rings, slowly pulling his
arms to the side as he lifts himself into a cross-shaped position. His arms
are very strong and his muscles stand out, like veiny snakes. He appears to
have no problem with the position.
"Cox is looking good so far, maintaining the hold. Cox's stats include
19-inch arms and a 50-inch chest."
The camera slowly zooms in, as Peter maintains the hold. His blue tank top
has ridden up, revealing the lower part of an impressive row of abs. But
it's his chest and arms which are most impressive, his spread lats,
powerful chest, and thick striated arms now beginning to tremble a bit with
the extertion of trying to maintain the position.
"And it looks as though Cox is beginning to feel the burn, at just over one
minute into the hold. Can he maintain it?"
Peter is beginning to sweat as the clock ticks. His arms are trembling
visibly now. The camera pans over his impressive muscles: his thick pecs,
large, bowling-ball-shaped delts, and thick neck, now straining. The camera
crew also can't help but show something else: with Peter's tank top riding
up so high, his posing trunks are plainly visible to all eyes. He's got an
impressive package, and the posing trunks are... well, rather skimpy. It's
almost obscene. Not that I'm complaining. At home, my dick is still fully
hard watching all this.
Another camera is now on Peter. His teeth are clenched, and sweat is
dripping off his muscled frame as he continues to attempt to hold the
position. As the whistle blows the three minute mark, the studio audience
begins shouting their encouragement. No one wants to see this young man
fail. A graphic in the corner of the screen displays the time:
3:10. 3:20. 3:30. Peter's face is a mask of agony, now, sweat dripping off
his brow as he tries to maintain the hold. His thick, striated pecs heaving
with the extertion, his huge arms trembling with the pain. At 3:38, Peter
loses it, and drops off the rings.
"And Cox is down! That will be a five-minute penalty," explains Scott, as
an obviously disapointed Peter moves on to the second obstacle, the Wicked
Wall.
Peter begins climbing the wooden wall as the hosts explain that the Wicked
Wall is normally a fairly easy obstacle. "Not, of course, after spending
almost four minutes on the rings, however."
"Cox's muscles, already overtaxed by the last obstacle, will obviously be
put to the challenge here as he climbs this 40-foot wooden wall," Scott
says, as Peter begins the climb. Despite the strain, Peter makes it up and
over the wall and down the back side. From there he climbs up a cargo net,
then across a wooden bridge, down a rope, and then hand over hand across a
climbing frame. After running across a balance beam, he crosses the finish
line at 8 minutes and 42 seconds. The hosts remind the viewers at home that
an additional five minutes will be added to Peter's time.
As Peter walks back up to the host area, Alex holds out a mic and asks him
about the run. Sweating and puffing, handsome Peter can barely speak. Sweat
is running down his body, making his tanned muscles glisten. Peter pulls
the front of his tight tank top up over his chest, revealing his massive
pectorals and impressive six-pack abs. His chest is completely covered in
sweat, perspiration dripping off his thickly muscled pecs. He leaves the
tank top up above his chest as he continues to heave, and the tank top is
tight enough around his chest that it doesn't fall back down.
"That was a good run, champ," Alex says. "How was it up there?"
"H... h... hot..." Peter can only mutter, his breath still gone. Yes, it
was definitely hot.
"Next up is Rod Dixon, an 18-year old rancher turned weightlifter from
Texas," Alex segues. "Rod, you saw how Peter performed. How are you going
to do things differently?"
Rod, the blonde hunky kid, just smiles and says, "Well, Alex, I don't know
if I can beat that time, but I'll try. I've got God on my side, and.. you
know... God willing, I'll win."
"Good luck, Rod."
Rod takes his cue and walks to the starting line at the left-hand side of
the stage. The whistle blows and Rod begins the obstacle course. He has a
bit of trouble getting onto the rings, but once he gets a firm grip, he
slowly positions himself in the now-familiar T-shape on the gymnastic
rings.
"Dixon's off to a bad start but he's now gaining traction," Alex
says. "Scott, what do you make of Dixon's pectoral development? Do you
think he's more or less developed than Cox?"
"Well, I think it's undeniable that his pectoral development is not as
strong as Cox's," Alex replies, "His stat sheet states that he's got a
48-inch chest, and it seems pretty clear his pecs just aren't as striated
as Cox's."
As if on cue, the camera zooms in on Rod's chest. The low-cut tank top does
little to hide his thick, striated pecs. Slowly, the camera zooms out,
reavealing the young man hanging from the gym rings. Already, his arms are
shaking a bit, as his big biceps and triceps strain with the pressure of
maintaining the hold. His wide lats, spread to their fullest extent, are
incredibly impressive.
"Dixon's other stats include 18-inch arms and a 28-inch waistline. All in
all, a well developed physique for a young man who only stands 5 feet 11
inches."
"And already, Alex, you can see the strain this young man is feeling, you
can see it in his face, and in his arms," Scott says. "At only a minute and
a half in, I doubt that Dixon will make it the full four minutes."
Just as Scott finishes his sentence, Rod's arms begin buckling with the
pressure. He begins thrashing wildly, attempting to maintain his grip, but
then falls off the rings. Luckily, he lands deftly on his feet, and
continues the course as the studio audience lets out a collective gasp.
"And Dixon did indeed fall, Scott. That will be a five-minute penalty. You
know, I think that given his age, Dixon just doesn't have the pectoral
development for that obstacle."
"That's true, Alex. I think to be a serious competitor on that particular
obstacle, you'd probably need at least a 50-inch chest, and his arms look
just a bit weak, too. Nonetheless, Dixon is continuing the course. He's not
going to let his smaller stature affect his chances on the show."
The camera changes to Rod, now on the Wicked Wall. Rod slowly, methodically
climbs to the top, goes down the back side, climbs the net, crosses the
bridge, shimmies down the rope, and then crosses the climbing frame and the
balance beam. He crosses the line at 9:14. As he walks up, one of the host,
Alex, says, "Good run, champ. What did you think of your run?"
Talking into the mic, Rod says, "Well, I did what could, unfortunately."
Alex nods sympathetically as he says, "Unfortunately, this particular
course requires a ton of upper body strength." Then he reaches over and
casually pulls the front of Rod's red tank top down, stretching it down
toward his waist. "We were just discussing your pectoral development and
how that might have had some role in how this obstacle played out, when you
were up there on the Ring Bearer. Do you think your upper chest development
played a factor in the fall?"
"Well... um... I actually think my pecs are pretty well-developed, for just
being 18," Rod says.
"Absolutely. Flex those puppies," Alex says, and Rod obliges, flexing his
pecs as Alex continues to hold his shirt down. The studio audience eats it
up, cheering as Rod flexes cockily. It's really a hot scene, and my dick
can barely stand it.
"Alright, thanks Rod," Alex says. "Now let's move on to contestant number
three. He's bodybuilder and former longshoreman Jack Offman."
Scott, dwarfed as he stands next to the tall, muscular hunk named Jack,
asks Jack a question about his strategy going into the first obstacle
course.
"Well, shit," Jack replies, "I don't really have a strategy. I'm just going
to go up there and fuckin' nail it." They didn't bleep out any of his
profanities, which still shocked me (what had cable TV come to?), but the
sight and sound of this hunky, foul-mouthed stud almost set me over the
edge.
Jack moved to the starting line on the left-hand side of the stage, and as
the whistle sounded, he jumped up and easily hooked his big longshoreman's
hands into the rings. His powerful pecs and massive arms had no problem
being able to lift his body into the required cross-shaped position. It was
an awesome sight. His thick pectorals bulged, pulling his tight white tank
top halfway up his torso. His skimpy white posing trunks were now fully
revealed. Jesus, this guy was HAWT!
He hung like from a cross with almost no trembling, even as the minutes
passed. Jack had no problem holding out the full four minutes on the
rings. The audience cheered as Jack dropped off the rings as the whistle
sounded the four minute mark. Then he moved easily through the rest of the
obstacle course, finishing at 7 minutes and 13 seconds. Despite what
appeared to be an easy course run, Jack was sweating heavily by the end of
the course, and the front of his white tank top, drenched in sweat, had
become semi-transparent. His amazing 8-pack abs were easily visible through
the thin material.
"Nicely done, champ," Scott said. "Did you have any doubt you'd make it
through the course?"
"Fuck no," Jack replied. Several in the studio audience cheered at Jack's
cocky answer, as he pulled another double bicep pose.
Alex laughed then, shaking his head. "Now it's time for the fourth
contestant, actor and bodybuilder Dick Hardman."
Dick, a hunky shaven-headed muscle stud about the same size as Jack, took
his position at the starting line. But before the whistle blew, Dick
stopped a moment, stepped back from the starting line, and then called for
a time out.
"It's really warm in here," he said, as he crossed his arms over his chest,
grabbed the bottom of his gold tank top, and pulled it slowly over his
head. He tossed his tank top on the floor carelessly as he re-took his
position at the starting line. The man was incredibly stacked, with
melon-like pecs, ripped abs, bowling-ball-shaped biceps, a thick, corded
neck, and the sight of this man getting to run an obstacle course wearing
nothing but a pair of gold posing trunks and some sneakers sent me over the
edge. I came in my pants as the whistle sounded and Dick began the course.
He pulled himself up onto the rings and, seemingly without effort, kept the
position all four minutes. Then he ran the rest of the obstacle course,
finishing just after Jack's time, at 7 minutes, 28 seconds. The audience
cheered wildly as Dick began going into several bodybuilding poses,
including a "most muscular" and a rear double biceps.
"We'll be right back after a word from our sponsors," Alex said.
To be continued...
