Chapter: 34 A New Life - Conclusion.


Life had settled into a routine for Daniel. There were
occasions where he ran foul of a free citizen or was
deemed not to be working as hard as a NEWDD slave was
expected to do, however on the whole his life as a
NEWDD was not as bad as he had expected. As is often
the case the anticipation and dread of something is
often far worse than it eventuates in being.

His relationship with his brother Eric was far better
now than it had ever been and they were now getting
along fabulously. With their fathers blessing Daniel
was a regular visitor to Eric's room most nights.

Melissa knew of their activities and took a
surprisingly mature view of their actions. She
blatantly informed her parents and her brothers that
it was none of her business and what they did in
private should not be the concern of anyone else!

Of his close friends from the Henson street gang who
had been sentenced to serve time as a NEWDD Charlie,
Josh and Joey who had been charged with lesser crimes
finished their NEWDD time after only one month. Rick
and Brady who had supplied the cans of spray paint
served two months before their time was up.

By the end of the third month Daniel was the longest
serving NEWDD at his college, at the mall and in
community service. He had become such a regular at the
shoe shine stand that some of the members actually
began to talk to him, putting aside their prejudices
about slaves. During his three months he had had Brady
as his partner for two of those months. When Brady
finished his time he was joined over the last month by
a succession of short sentence NEWDD's.

One of his regular customers on Thursdays was Gary
Foster-Brown. Without fail Gary had his shoes shined
after the junior associates had played. Though Gary
had said it would be very unwise for them to meet up
again after their heated sexual encounter early in his
sentence, Gary lacked the will power to uphold his own
belief. At the mall on Sundays there was no sign of
Gary for three weeks after his initial meeting with
Daniel however the longing in Gary's heart grew too
strong. Gary hired out Daniel the following week and
from then on it became a regular part of Daniels
Sunday that he was the shopping trolley for Gary. On
two occasions Daniel actually accompanied Gary home
and in the privacy of Gary's bedroom enjoyed a
passionate kiss and cuddle with his new close friend.

His relationship with Marco had also grown deeper. On
most Fridays if his father approved Daniel was allowed
time with his long time friend. There was no sex but
as the weeks passed Daniel enjoyed a deepening
physical relationship with Marco. They kissed and
cuddled and Marco regularly masturbated Daniel to
orgasms.

To complete Daniels classic love triangle his
mentoring of Aaron Parker slowly developed into an
equally deep physical relationship. Daniel knew he was
much older than Aaron but the chemistry and desire
flowed, he seemed unable to stop himself, though he
was concerned at their age difference.

Neither Gary, Marco nor Aaron knew of the others
existence and they certainly did not know that Daniel
was enjoying any sort of a sexual relationship with
each of them.

One of Daniel very infrequent discipline breaches
occurred just near the end of his third month as a
NEWDD. He was being lead by a twelve year old girl and
her two friends around the mall on that particular
Sunday when he was unable to contain his arousal at
being fondled by the three pretty looking girls. As he
orgasmed he called out, "I'm cumming" as required but
he didn't reach for a tissue in time.

He produced a considerable amount of seminal fluid and
it dribbled onto the girls hands and then onto the
mall floor. This was a major punishment breach by
Daniel and it resulted in a severe spanking from his
overseer and follow up punishment the next Saturday.

Daniel still had one month of his sentence to serve
when a letter arrived addressed to his father advising
that due to Daniels good behaviour and voluntary
community service as a mentor to Aaron his sentence
had been reviewed and from the next Saturday he was to
be placed on probation as a NEWDD for the remaining
three weeks. He would be able to dress for the first
time in just over three months from next weekend. This
was exciting news for Daniel.

On his second last day as a NEWDD Daniel was working
the shoe shine stand at Piney Hills Golf Club as
usual. It was late and his customers had dwindled when
Ben Woods appeared with another man and took up
positions on the shoe shine stand.

Daniels NEWDD partner at this time, was Mike Hewitt a
fourteen year old who was serving a short two week
sentence and so had not been shaved.The truth was Mike
wasn't very hairy but what little pubic hair he had
was his pride and joy and a sign of his maturity.
Daniel felt that though he never said anything Mike
was secretly proud he was more developed than Daniel
when it came to penile size. At fourteen most guys
were more developed than Mike so it seemed Mike was
glad he had found someone worse off than himself.

Mike began shining Ben Wood's shoes whilst Daniel gave
the already very polished shoes of the other man a
shine.

"This is the NEWDD who caused me to ring you the other
months about the lack of urgency I was receiving for
the NEWDD officials" Ben Woods informed the other man.

"Well glad I could help you then Ben, but it saddens
me that I had to get my law clerk to ring the
authorities to get some action. Your concerns should
have been enough" the other man said.

"You always were the idealist Josh, sadly the real
world does not always work the way you think" Ben
replied.

It was then that the identity of the other man dawned
on Daniel. This was Ben Woods's brother, Chief Justice
Joshua Woods.

Daniel stoped polishing momentarily as this fact
dawned on him and Justice Woods noticed the momentary
pause also.

"Something wrong son?" Justice Woods asked.

`No sir, I'm sorry Chief Justice Woods for disturbing
you" Daniel replied politely.

`You know who I am at your age? Most teenagers it
seems to me don't even know what the Supreme Court is
let alone who is who on it"

"Sir I have studied your life at school. I wish my
meeting of you was not in such a humiliating
circumstance for me. You are one of the people I
admire most in life. You have achieved so much from a
very tough beginning" Daniel responded with obvious
sincerity.

"Son as you obviously know I was once an indentured
slave, so do not be humiliated by your circumstances,
I wasn't. There is a noble side to slavery though it
is hard to find. If you learn from your time as a
NEWDD as I learned from my time as an indentured slave
then you can train yourself to be so resolute, so
focussed, so determined that no one can stop you"
Justice Woods informed the now awe struck Daniel.

"Yes sir" was all Daniel could reply.

`What do you want to do with your life boy?" the judge
asked.

Blushing Daniel told the truth, "I want to follow in
your footsteps sir. You were a local who made good. I
want to prove that I can do it too and become a
lawyer, maybe even a judge."

"That will require a lot of hard work, but as I proved
it is possible. I was fortunate I can see now looking
back, that I was enslaved. It forced me to focus on my
goal and removed all temptation, well most temptation
from my life. I trust you are not besotted with some
teenage love affair or madly dreaming of a sporting
career as well as a legal career" the judge asked.

Before he could answer the red blush that swept across
Daniels face told the experienced legal practitioner
that he had hit a raw nerve.

"Love or sport? Which is the problem?"

Justice Woods had these hugely compassionate eyes that
made Daniel just want to confess the truth of his
sexual preferences. It was a very brave move but
Daniel briefly told of his ever complicating love
triangle.

When the fact that Daniels lovers were all male came
out, Justice Wood smiled at his brother and to Daniels
great relief the judge showed little emotion besides
commenting to his brother, "Very interesting, very
interesting indeed."

It seemed to Daniel that as the two men walked away
from the shoe shine stand that night that they were
still discussing Daniel. They were soon out of hearing
but just before that happened Daniel was sure he heard
Ben Woods warn his brother to be very careful if he
was thinking what he suspected he was thinking.

The look of revulsion that Daniel got from his fellow
NEWDD about his disclosure of his sexual orientation
immediately told Daniel he would not have to worry
about an additional relationship developing between
Mike and himself!

The next day, Daniels last day as a naked NEWDD, there
was a letter awaiting him when he returned home from
school. His father showed him the letter and commented
on the letterhead, `The Supreme Court of the United
States of America'.

There was a very worried look on his fathers face but
Daniel guessed correctly that it did not signify
trouble.

In fact it was an invitation for Daniel and his whole
family to join Justice Woods in the private dining
room of the Piney Hills Golf Club tomorrow, being
Saturday, for dinner.

Mr Green was amazed and speechless at such an
invitation. Chief Justice Woods was the most famous
and influential living local citizen. To be invited to
dine privately with him was an enormous honour.

Numerous times that night Daniel was forced to explain
to the various members of his family how he came to
meet the Chief Justice. The one thing he could not
answer was why Justice Woods would wish to meet with
him and his family. In truth they had had but the
briefest of meetings.

That Saturday morning was a major event in the Green
household. Daniel's room had been reopened the night
before and neat clothing was laid on his bed in
preparation for the next morning. When Daniel awoke
for the last time in his basement bed Tom personally
washed the blushing Daniel and walked him up to his
bedroom where he dressed the boy in clothes for the
first time in three months. The feel of clothing on
his skin felt very strange to Daniel and he had to
fight the urge to strip off and enjoy the freedom that
he now realised he had enjoyed these last months.

The whole Green family drove to the Juvenile Court
where a clerk with very little ceremony unlocked
Daniels NEWDD collar consisting of a metal chain
coated in a bright pink plastic and metal mesh.

He was free!

The feeling was indescribable for Daniel. He didn't
know why but at the moment of his triumph he burst out
crying. He had toughed it out very well since the
first few days of his sentence. He had beaten the
humiliation and the embarrassment. Now he was free his
emotions overflowed.

His mother then his dad, followed by Eric and Mel all
hugged him tight till he recovered his composure. When
Mrs Green suggested that they all adjourned to a
restaurant she knew down the street for breakfast
Daniel made a counter suggestion.

"Could we buy some to go and have breakfast back home
with Tom? I feel bad leaving him out of this.

Mrs Green blushed, feeling a pang of guilt that she
had forgotten Tom. Mr Green smiled at his son's
thoughtfulness and readily agreed to his suggestion.

That evening they felt like VIP's as they drove up to
the front entrance of the Piney Hills Golf Club. They
were escorted by servants into the inner sanctum of
the exclusive club house and ushered into the private
dining room where the impeccably dressed Justice Woods
greeted them.

Apart from Justice Woods the only other person present
was his brother Ben.

Justice Woods was an amicable dinner host and soon
Owen and Vicki Green were deeply involved in
conversation with the two Woods brothers.

Later in the evening as they sipped port and partook
coffee Justice Woods returned to his conversation he
had had on Thursday with Daniel.

"Daniel tells me he wants a career in law like I
achieved and Ben tells me your son is academically
inclined and a hard worker. Excuse my forthrightness
but are you in a financial position to ensure Daniel
can go to the best law colleges" Justice Woods asked.

Mr Green was no fool and he took this comment to be
what it was, an offer of financial assistance. If he
played his cards right he thought to himself, maybe
the Justice would assist in Daniels education.

Discussion continued and Daniel sat to the side of the
room enthralled at where this was all leading.

Then like a lightning bolt Justice Woods played his
trump.

"Owen and Vicki I want to help Daniel achieve his
goals in life. Daniel also confided in me he likes
boys as well as girls in a sexual way. That took
courage to confess to a virtual stranger, yet he did
and that more than anything convinced me Daniel was
special and worth my efforts.'

"You may know that I was enslaved as a Booth boy at
the age of thirteen. My enslavement through those
formulative years of my early teens gave me the
grounding I needed to achieve great things in my life.
Though he is older I am offering the same chance to
your son. He is caught in an ever complex love
triangle between three males he equally likes. Such a
choice is something most fully mature males could not
make with confidence, at nineteen it will lead to
great distraction for Daniel"

"I am offering to indenture Daniel into my service for
the remainder of his college years and then guarantee
to provide Daniel with a law education at the end of
his college indenture should he wish it".

"There is no way I will ever consent to a child of
mine being voluntarily enslaved" Mr Green emphatically
replied supported by the nodding of his wife. "I
despise those parents who sell their children into
slavery for a slice of the almighty dollar. I know
this is slightly different but I will never consent to
Daniel being enslaved, never!"

"Your reaction does not surprise" Justice Wood s
replied, "My brother said you would reject my offer
outright. Still I wanted to make it, otherwise I would
never have known if I could have been of help. My plan
was that Daniel would have lived with me in my
residence in Washington. I live alone with no slaves
and I lost my best friend who lived with me and cared
for me some years ago now. I was hoping Daniel could
study at Howard University under a Booth Institute
scholarship and help me around my residence. He would
have been an indentured slave but I am not a harsh
master. There would be firm discipline if required and
I would expect a real work ethic. In return I felt
that Daniel would be placed in a good position to go
on to great things once his indenture was over."

Mr Green was about to reconfirm his ardent objection
to the proposal when Daniel interjected.

"I want to take up the offer dad."

Mr Green looked at his son in amazement, Mrs Green
gasped and both Eric and Melissa cried out, "No
Daniel, no don't". Ben and Joshua Woods both looked
equally surprised.

Holding up his hand to stop any other protests, Daniel
continued, "I have been a NEWDD for three months. I
have been ridiculed, humiliated embarrassed. I can
take being indentured till I finish college and look
at the opportunities Master Woods is offering me."

Turning to face his parents Daniel said, "Negotiate
lots of visiting rights mum and dad because I will
miss you all, but I want this dad. I want it bad. I
want to be a lawyer and I want to get away from
Eastbrook so I do not break my heart and the heart of
Marco, Gary or Aaron. This way we will all miss each
other but it will give us time to sort out our own
feelings. I don't know if I am really gay, bi or
hetro. By the time I am finished in Washington I am
sure I will know myself far better" Daniel informed
the stunned room.

As much as his family tried, no one could change
Daniels mind on this matter and Justice Woods
certainly did not try too hard to deter him from his
decision.

By the end of the night it was agreed. Daniel would be
indentured to Justice Woods for the remaining years of
his college studies.

Justice Woods suggested and Mr and Mrs Green agreed
that it would be better if the court application for
Daniels indenture was processed in Washington. This
would be easier on Daniel and cause far less gossip in
the local Eastbrook community.

The preparations for Daniels move to Washington were
quickly made and by the Wednesday all was ready for
the move.

Daniel made his goodbye to Tom in the privacy of the
basement. Grown men didn't cry but many a tear was
shed by Tom and Daniel and they stood hugging tightly
for many minutes before Tom hurried Daniel upstairs to
waiting family.

All the Greens accompanied Daniel to Washington and
the very next morning they all attended a court in
Washington to have Mr Green's indenture application
regarding Daniels enslavement heard.

Justice Woods did not attend the hearing. Daniel would
first be indentured to his father then sold by private
treaty to Justice Woods. This way it was a private
transaction and would remain out of the glare of
public scrutiny.

At the court the hearing was scheduled to be heard
before Justice Henry Sorrenson. Judge Sorrenson was a
traditionalist and a stickler for proper protocol,
though he had a solid reputation amongst his peers for
dealing fairly and squarely with miscreant slaves,
while having a good nose for suspect activities by
unscrupulous parents, owners and dealers.

When Daniels case came before him, Judge Sorrenson
listened to the submission made by the lawyer
appointed by Mr. Green to represent him. On completion
of the opening submission the judge asked a series of
questions to both Daniel and his parents questioning
the motives in seeking the indenture of Daniel.

Mr. Green responded to the judge by stating, "Daniel
sees his indenture as a means of advancing his life, a
chance to learn here in Washington. To study under a
booth Institute scholarship you have to be indentured.
The natural law that governs the relationship between
parent and child, father and son is hard to break, but
break it I will if and only if my son desires that to
happen. Daniel has a conventional outlook on life, and
has only respect for the law, the courts, the slave
system and the society that it serves. He is entering
into this indenture with the firm belief that there is
a noble side to slavery and that it can benefit him. I
will support him in this however I can, thus our
presence here today.

After Mr. Green had finished there was an appreciative
silence in the court. He had made his point well.

There followed the usual banter of legal argument
until finally the last of the arguments ended and the
judge announced that he would give an immediate
verdict.

The application was approved.

"Daniel Green you are hereby indentured to serve as a
community servant till you turn the age of twenty
two." The Judge then banged his gavel twice.

'Bring the newly enslaved to the bench to be stripped
and collared" the judge ordered.

Mr. Green's lawyer objected, requesting that Daniel be
allowed to maintain his clothes, as a private treaty
sale had been agreed and Daniel would not need to be
stripped for sale.

The judge disagreed stating that all slaves appeared
before his court naked and told a court official to
have the guards strip Daniel then collar him.

Daniel though now very used to being naked in public
looked very frightened as he was led over to stand
before the judge.

The guards were rough. One produced a hooked knife and
quickly cut away Daniels clothes. He was then forced
onto his knees and made to lean forwards and place his
head on a block that contained a collaring and locking
device. When his head was in place, a court official
stretched a length of the black and yellow striped
collar metal around his neck, pulled it tight so it
ran just under the Adam's apple, and then cut it with
a small guillotine. A lock was then applied. This only
took a few seconds during which Daniels naked behind
was sticking up in the air for all to see.

In a less fraught atmosphere this might have caused
giggles among those present, but as things were, the
sight produced only scowls and mutterings from the
Green family.

Daniel on the other hand was used to the humiliation
and the embarrassment. He was resigned to experiencing
some of the bad aspects of slavery, but he trusted his
new master, Justice Woods and firmly believed the good
aspects of his new life would greatly outweigh the
bad.

Late that afternoon after the Supreme Court had
adjourned for the day a dressed and collared Daniel
Green was taken by his family to meet his new Master,
Justice Woods at his residence.

As he stood there in his formal lounge room looking at
Daniel, Chief Justice Joshua Woods though to himself,
`In time I hope he finds himself as he hopes, but more
than that I hope that he might come to like me and
maybe hope against hope come to want more than just a
friendship.'

It was possible. Some young guys found great
contentment in the arms of older guys. Justice Woods
had pined in secret all these years since his secret
lover Steve Wright had passed away for a partner he
could trust.

It was time he now decided to cast out a new line and
see what he could real in. He hoped it would bring not
just a legal protégée but a new lover into his life.

Daniel was unaware of Justice Wood's sexual
preferences and that evening after his family had
joined Justice Woods for dinner, a dinner cooked by
caterers, and they had said their tearful goodbyes
Daniel found himself alone with his Master for the
first time.

Justice Woods sat Daniel down in his den and they
talked long into the night. They talked not as Master
and slave but as two intelligent human beings. His new
master had such a skill at putting Daniel at ease that
Daniel was soon telling all his inner most thoughts to
his new Master. Daniel poured out his hatred of
slavery, not because of what it had achieved but
because of what it did to human dignity. His Master
listened; he was a good listener as a Judge had to be.

Daniel told of his close friendship with Marco, Gary
and Aaron. He told how far he had gone sexually with
them and where he had drawn the line. He told how he
was finding it harder and harder to draw that line.

His Master listened.

When Daniel had exhausted his life story his Master
asked Daniel to tell him what he knew about Justice
Woods.

His Master listened.

When Daniel had finished his Master calmly and
serenely told Daniel with the confidence of a very
successful man who knew his place and status in life
the real truth about Joshua Woods.

His Master had listened; he had weighed up what Daniel
had said and what Daniel stood for. As he listened he
had came to trust this boy already.

Daniel was speechless when he learnt the truth about
his Master.

His Master smiled, Daniel smiled, and then his Master
motioned for him to move over to him.

His Master embraced Daniel and said, "Don't be afraid
of me Daniel. I desire the things a master desires of
his personal slave, but what I desire and what I will
have are two different things. I will never order you
to give me sex or to have sex with me. If that happens
it will be because we both wish it."

Daniel didn't know what to say. He had no sexual
longing for this man, yet he was already beginning to
really like him.

"Thank you sir, for your word on this, my parents will
be pleased and so am I" Daniel replied.

"I am however still your Master Daniel and that does
have its rewards as well as its responsibilities"
Justice Woods said, then taking a forced swallow and a
deep breath he asked for what he desired, "I am sorry
I had to have you indentured Daniel but to live here
in the same house as me and not raise suspicions and
scandal you must be a slave. It is a sad reflection on
our society that as a slave serving his master society
will think your presence here in my residence normal
and acceptable. If you service your master in all ways
that too will be accepted as normal and appropriate
for a slave. So Daniel will you share my shower with
me tonight and wash your aging Master. It is a
pleasure I have long enjoyed, a pleasure which I
desire but a pleasure I ask for, not order."

Daniel was in two minds. He really wasn't into older
men but he could see his Master desired this limited
contact with him.

"Master I am your servant. I have been fondled by
hands too numerous to recall whilst I was a NEWDD. I
have washed my brother and sister sometimes; it will
be a pleasure to serve you too".

Daniel smiled, his Master smiled and then his Master
offered Daniel his hand and they walked upstairs, not
just to the bathroom but for both of them into a new
life.

A life that would offer fulfilment to both in very
different ways.

Above all what excited Daniel was not that he had
found a Master who listened to him and understood his
sexuality but that his master was offering to share
with him a life that would offer the opportunity of a
lifetime.

His master was offering him an almost guaranteed path
to success and influence as long as he put in the
effort. If he needed to offer his Master the one thing
his Master desired that he was not able to get by
nature of his exalted position then that was a small
price to pay.

For Daniel that path now stood clearly before him, lit
with a brilliant clear light. A path that he would not
allow anything to impede. A path Daniel hoped would
enable him to rise to such prominence and influence
that he would be able to not just influence or change
society's attitude to slavery but abolish the cancer
that President Shelley had reintroduced for ever.

From the moment when I first sat down to write this
fantasy I conceived it as an attempt on my behalf to
combine some of the very common concepts and themes
raised in the erotic writings of numerous writers.
Themes such as `Naked in School', `Nudie Juvie', the
`Police Strip Search' and the `Medical Examination'.
Overriding all this would be the concept of slavery,
my favourite fantasy universe theme.
