Subject: Billy and the Cricket Boy

When I was a young man, a neighbor boy decided it was time to paddle
me. We made a game of it, with him asking me trivia questions and me
answering. Right, I got a light swat. Wrong, I got a harder one.
After 10 swats, the pants came down. After another ten, the
underpants. All in all it was quite fun, and he figured out just how
much I could take (which was amazing, after a while! I was leaning up
against a workbench in the basement and sometimes his swats would
lift my feet off the ground!).

After 30 or 40 strokes, we would switch, but I always enjoyed being
the "swattee" the most. I told him that and so we always "biased" the
game against me (or for me, not sure which).

This went on for some time. He would not let me look back at him; but
one time I did and I saw him grabbing himself as he swung the cricket
bat at my butt. He really wailed on me that time! I started to cry,
but held my ground.
