Subject: The Exam chapter 33

Saturday Aug 3 cont'd


	Bo and Klu got themselves cleaned up and headed back to the garage
to straigthen out the place.  And give it a good airing if nothing else
They were finishing up and had all the equipment out of the the way when
Will stuck his head in the door.

	"You two finished already" and he came in wearing his work-out
clothes.  He looked and saw all the weights neatly stacked against the wall
"I was gonna join ya but..."

	"Klu and me had a good enough workout for one day" Bo said trying
not to look at Klu.

	"Right, SG, look at you, gettin all weak and flabby" which was the
last thing Bo was.

	"So what? Jus like you Will t'wait until we've done all the hard
work and then you show up?" Klu said trying to get the attention off Bo.
He was not sure where that would be heading.

	"It ain't like that cuz" Will said "I had me a little date this
afternoon."

	"What, with the sheriff's department again?" Klu smirked, knowing
Will had his license suspended at least twice so far.

	"Naw with this new girl-"

	"So what about Cherise?  You two been like--"

	"She got to be a regular wife always wanting me to be buyin her
stuff and shit."

	"So who's the new one? Shayna?" Klu was rescuing the camera and
getting ready to leave.

	"You don't know her- hey" Will said seeing the new toy "you finally
got it?"

	"It just went on sale yesterday-"

	"Here lemme see-" Will said trying to grab it out of his hands.

	"Not so fast cuz" and Klu rapidly hit the reset button "just got it
don't want your big paws breaking it already."

	"Lemme see if it works.  You tried it yet?"

	"Yeah it works fine.  Here look" Bo gave Klu a menacing look but
Klu said "it's cool." and started to view the part with Bo in the kitchen.

	"Man that's chillin cuz" they gathered around the view screen and
watched a minute of Bo's arguing with him in the kitchen.  Then the scene
cut to Bo's starting the work out in the garage.

	"Shit you filmed a workout?" Will looked at his dad "you gettin to
be a real movie star or what pops?" but he watched a few moments of Bo's
workout before Klu turned it off.

	"Gotta save the batteries" Klu said.

	"How much did I miss?" Will said looking around.

	"You just saw the whole thing" Klu said looking at Bo, like: don't
say anything I just saved our butts.

	"Hey what don't ya film a real workout" Will said getting a better
idea of the scene he just missed "yknow SG a full workout like the regular
pros do."

	"No one'd wanna see that" Bo said trying to change the subject
"except your friends down at the station."

	"No really pops" Will kept at him seeing the angle "you know you
could do a full work-out and explain what you're doin like one of those
training things."

	"What for?"

	"C'mon SG it'd be cool" Will knew he was breaking him down "since
when you so shy" and he knew he had him.

	"You know I ain't shy-"

	"Shit pops the whole town knows you ain't-"

	"Watch your mouth boy..." Bo lowered his voice.  Will knew not to
challenge his dad especially in front of Klu.  But Will could always get
psyched out.

	"Hey sorry pops.  But c'mon Klu tell him it'd be cool" he looked at
Klu implying: you're in this too and I ain't letting either of you get away
with this shit.

	"Unc I can't argue with Will" Klu finally said when the camera was
safely back in the box and out of mind "maybe we could do
something... educational like."

	"Both of you now" Bo said rubbing his shoulder "I don't know..."
which meant I'm thinking about it.

	"Okay tomorrow night after supper.  Mom'll still be away."

	"Well we'll just sleep on it now" from Bo which meant: maybe.
Maybe don't hold yer breath.
