Subject: A Voice from The Past Chapter 5

Warning:

This story is fiction - all names were made up. So if there is anyone out
there with these names, I don't know them. If you do not like the idea of
male relationships, then please do not read any further.

This is my first story, so please let me know how you think I'm doing. I
have been reading the stories on Nifty for about three years, and decided
that I wanted to give it a try as a Nifty writer. I would like to know what
you think... so send me an email, and let me know. Please add the story
title in the subject line.

I want to thank Joe for all the help he has given me throughout this
story. Without his help, I would probably still be on chapter 1. I also
want to thank Jere for taking the time to edit the story for me.

In addition, I also want to thank Ansel for his help with the song in this
chapter. Please do not use any words to the song, as they belong to him.

Now, get comfortable, read the story, and let me know if you enjoy it!

A Voice from The Past

Chapter 5

"Andy! Stop it right now!" Tony shouted, grabbing Andy and shoving him off
Jason.

"Let me go, Tony! I have had enough of this guy. I want Jason away from
this family! " Andy said.

"NO! This isn't about what you want. If I want Jason here, then he is
going to stay. I want you to calm down! Now sit there and be quiet! Think
about what you are doing and saying. I am going to check on Jason, and I
will deal with you later!" Tony said.

 Tony knelt beside Jason to see if he had been seriously hurt. He began to
worry, after seeing all the blood, but decided that it was just the results
of superficial face and scalp wounds.

"Jason, are you okay? Tony said, holding Jason's head in his lap. "Come on,
Jason, please be okay."

"Don't worry about him! If you would just get him out of your life, things
would be a lot better!" Andy said, from across the room.

"Shut up!" I don't want to hear anything from you!" Tony said. "Come on,
Jason, can you hear me?"

"Oh! What happened?" Jason asked, reaching for his head.

"Shhh, it's going to be okay. You were given a knockout blow by Andy," Tony
said. A song came into his mind, and he began to softly sing to Jason.

"Every time I see you, I think you are an angel sent from heaven

When you came into our lives, everything was down;

You lifted things up and made life happy again;

Now with your love, my spirit shall have flown

 You entered my day, in a magical way;

 My lost mind on the edge of nowhere;

 But with your love, sent from your angelic soul above,

 My mind shall open with memories we share.

 Fly by my side, as my spiritual guide;

 Share the hurt, the sorrow, and the pain.

 I'll walk ahead forward, though the path unsure;

 My angel in my heart forever you shall remain."

"I can't believe it. Where did that song come from? I can remember singing
it to Heather, I would also sing it to you, wouldn't I Jason?" Tony said.

"Yes, you did. I can't believe you remembered. This is our song. What else
do you remember?" Jason asked.

"Jason, we will talk about that later. Let me get the doctor and have him
check you out," Tony said, looking at Andy, and saying to him, "You and I
need to talk."

Tony rang the call button and asked to have a doctor come to his room. When
he turned around, Andy had started moving toward Jason.

"Andy, will you get away from him? Now! I want you to go out into the
waiting room, and I will be there in a minute. We are going to talk," Tony
said.

"Jason, I'm Dr. Greene. Let me take a look, and see what's going on with
this young man. he said.

"Dr. Greene, you look at Jason, and I'll be back in a minute." Tony said.

Tony came into the waiting room, and Andy was sitting there with his head
in his hands, looking very dejected. "Andy, what the hell is your problem?
We are not leaving here until you tell me. So out with it, young man! If
you don't start, I am going to beat the crap out of you! You know I will;
so get busy talking!"

"Tony, I really don't want to have this discussion here!" Andy said.

"I don't care; I want you to start talking!" Tony said.

"Okay, Tony; I'll talk," Andy said, with resignation in his voice.

"Good, I want to know what is going on with you and Jason. Please; I'm
starting to remember. If Jason is the love of my life, then I want my
brother and my boyfriend to get along!" Tony said, with a pleading tone in
his voice, and tears in his eyes.

"Okay, Tony. I have not told anyone about this; not even Mom or
Dad. Melinda knows there is something I'm not telling her. I don't want
anyone knowing what I am going to tell you." Andy said, not looking into
Tony's eyes.

"Take your time, Andy, but please tell me everything," Tony said, with
compassion in his voice.

"When I was going to the police academy, I was so excited. I have always
wanted to be a policeman. My roommate was really nice, and I thought, `This
is great! We are going to be friends. Maybe we can be partners after we
leave school. It was a good 3 weeks; I was learning so much. We had come to
a point where we had a weekend to do whatever we wanted. So I was going to
come home, but Brett, my roommate, talked me into staying at the academy,"
Andy said, pausing for a minute.

"Andy, what is going on?" Tony said, putting his hand on Andy's shoulder.

"I'm getting to that; it's hard to talk about what happened. Everyone else
was gone for the weekend. Brett said he didn't have anywhere to go, so he
wanted me to stay with him. We were sitting in our room, watching some
television. I was on one end of the couch, and Brett was on the other. As
the evening went on, Brett would start to slide down the couch. I at first
didn't think much of it, but, soon he was sitting right next to me. I was
just about to say something, when I noticed his hand on my thigh. I asked
him what he was doing? His hand started to move up my thigh. The next thing
I knew he had stretched my legs out, and he was on top of me. He was bigger
than me, so I struggled to get away. He grabbed both my hands, and held
them above my head." Andy stopped a minute to get his thoughts together.

"Oh, Andy, I don't like where you are going with this," Tony said.

"So, he was holding my hands above my head, and, with his other hand, he
was rubbing me all over, and kissing me. I kept telling him `no', and that
I was not gay. He said he didn't care; that he had wanted me ever since we
met, and he was going to have me. Then he kissed me again, and I bit his
upper lip. That made him mad, and he hit me across the face. He then took
out some rope from under the couch, tied my hands, and began to unbutton my
pants. He pulled them down, along with my boxers, with one yank. Then
he......, tears were rolling down Andy's face, "And then he raped me."

"Oh, Andy; I'm so sorry you went through that. I'm also sorry that you felt
you couldn't come to me with this," Tony said, hugging Andy, to show his
support.

"Tony, I couldn't tell anyone. How could I tell Mom and Dad that I was
studying to be a police officer, and I couldn't even take of myself?" Andy
said

"Andy, I know you don't want to hear this, but you need to talk with
someone. If you keep this to yourself much longer, it will eat you
alive. Why don't you start with Melinda?" Tony said, being interrupted.

"NO! I can't tell her. She will leave me!" Andy said, starting to panic.

"Okay, Andy, calm down. I don't think she will leave you; she seems to love
you very much. I can go with you. I can tell her what you told me, if you
don't think you can, but you need to be there. We can get Mom to watch
Steven, and we will tell her soon. You also need to talk to someone who can
help you deal with this," Tony said.

"You mean, like a shrink?" Andy said, looking at Tony.

"Yes! Well, let's call it counseling," Tony said.

"I don't know about that," Andy said.

"Okay, Andy, we will take this one day at a time. Maybe we can volunteer at
a rehab facility for sexually abused teens, and other teens with family
problems. We can talk about that later; right now, let's get back to
Jason," Tony said.

"No, Jason, will not want to see me after what I just did to him," Andy
said.

"Let me handle Jason," Tony said, taking Andy by the arm, and leading him
back to the room, and Jason.
