Across the Alley X

As the weather began to cool slightly as Fall progressed, the boys
suggested one Saturday morning that we pile into Jack's Jeep and go looking
at scenery in the Salt River Canyon. Dale had heard stories of how
beautiful the place was from a discussion in his geology class at ASU. He
was studying to become a mining engineer, and had his sights set on working
for one of the big concerns doing exploration around the world. John hadn't
made a decision on his major yet, but more and more, he was becoming
interested in becoming an educator of some sort. He just hadn't selected a
field yet.
The day was gorgeous, and we grabbed a cooler out of the storage room, and
filled it with beer and soda and the makings for sandwiches, and piled into
the Jeep. The drive to Apache Junction, where the Apache trail began was
swift and speedy on the new freeway connections the city had recently
completed. The brooding Superstition Mountains, the Apache Holy Mountain,
pulled its usual magic trick of appearing massive on the horizon but
gradually shrinking in size as we got closer. I pointed it out to the
group, and they speculated on the reasons for it. Every theory from the
clarity of the air acting as a reduction lens, to the ancient spirits of the
Apache Indians fucking with the white eye's minds. We all liked the last
theory, and laughed about it all the way up the winding trail into the
wilderness fastness that had once been the stomping grounds of Cochise, and
the great warrior, Geronomo and their people.
I told them the story of the Lost Dutchman Mine, and Dale was immediately
interested in looking for it. I laughed and explained it had been lost for
a hundred years, and dozens of men had died searching in vain for the
fabulous treasure first discovered by the Spanish in the 16th century. The
boys huddled in the back, and I could hear them making plans to return to
search one day when they didn't have the two old guys in the front seats to
worry about.
The scenery held our attention for miles, with everybody noticing something
and excitedly pointing it out to the others. At Canyon Lake, they opted to
take a quick swim and eat something before we continued the climb up the
soon to be dirt trail. They sat shivering in the cool air, in their wet
cutoffs as Jack and I fed them cheese and salami sandwiches, and beer. No
one had thought to bring towels, or a change of clothes.
When we topped out of the canyon at Roosevelt Lake, the dust from the miles
of dirt road, had settled on the now damp clothes and hair of the boys,
making them look like the mud men the Hopi Indians maintained as one of
their God Kachinas. Jack and I laughed at them, and kept driving. I told
them about a place I'd discovered years before when I'd been out exploring
on my own. It wasn't far away from where we were and since I hadn't seen it
in a while, I thought we should all pay it a visit.
I directed Jack to a dirt road on the North East end of the lake, and we
headed off into the real wilderness. It wasn't long, before the track we
were using for a road, petered out and dipped into the bed of a shallow
creek I remembered was called Cherry Creek. I told Jack the bottom was firm
bedrock, and it never would get deeper than the hubcaps, so he drove on. A
mile further on, we came to a barbed wire gate strung across the creek. I
got out and waded to open the gate, and let the Jeep through.
After reclosing the gate, I told Jack to just follow the creek around for a
ways and we'd come to the ranch house of the owner. When we pulled out of
the creek bed, into the yard of the low log house that looked like it had
been there for a hundred years, the door opened, and a tall lanky men with a
western shirt and a pair of worn Levis and equally worn boots strolled out
into the yard from the house.
"Howdy?" He tipped his invisible Stetson, drawing attention to the pale
skin of his upper forehead, in contrast to the almost nut brown color of his
tanned and wrinkled face.
"Howdy. I swung out of the Jeep, and walked over to shake his hand. "I
don't know if you remember me Mister Davis, but you let me spend a few days
up Cherry Creek Canyon a few years ago." He put a speculative hand on his
chin, and looked up to his right. His pale blue eyes, looking at the clouds
for a moment. He grinned and dropped his hand into his hip pocket. He
pulled out a faded red bandana, and wiped his mouth, and spit a stream of
tobacco juice across the yard. He wiped his mouth again and pushed the
bandana back in his rear pocket.
"'Spect I do now I think on it. What can I do fer ya?"
"I thought I'd show these boys how pretty it is up there if you don't mind
us going up on your land."
"Oh hell no. God made it that way and I ain't the one to stand in the way
of another man `preciatin' God's handy work. How long you plannin' on
stayin'"
"Not long, maybe until it starts to get dark. But we might like to come
back sometime and camp up there for a week or so if you'd let us."
"Go on." He waved his hand up the canyon, and turned as if to go back into
the house. He stopped, and turned back to us. "If you build a fire up
there, you jes make damn sure you put it out before you leave. I got a lot
of cattle up in that canyon, and I don't need no fire runnin' em down here
on me. Ya hear?"
"Sure thing Mister Davis." I climbed back into the Jeep, and directed Jack
back into the creek bed. Another mile up the canyon, the creek turned off
to the right, and the dim traces of a road could be seen on the left bank.
I pointed to it and Jack pulled out of the water again and we made our way
slowly up the rutted overgrown trail.
"This was an old road built in the 19th century by hardrock miners. There
used to be some sort of mining activity up here. I'll sow you the old shaft
when we get where we're going." A little further on, I told Jack to pull
off onto a clear spot, and set the brakes. We all piled out and the boys
were immediately working on the lunch meat and beer again. After we'd all
had another bite to eat and had a beer apiece, I led the way up a side
canyon, and we climbed for half an hour. Wild life was all around us,
several deer watched us without concern, and a family of skunks, stopped in
front of us and stared with curiosity at us, but made was as we got closer.
As we worked our way around a switch back on the trail, we came face to
face with a Puma. He was sitting on a rock not thirty feet from us. He'd
obviously been sunning himself there, and our arrival had disturbed his
slumber. He yawned at us, and then sauntered off the big flat rock and
melted into the underbrush down into the canyon. Soon, we began to see
evidence of human activity. A rotting steel cable, twisted with rust, and
what appeared to be a railroad track section, although somewhat smaller in
dimension, laying rusted at an angle across the trail.
"Not far now," I said, suddenly realizing that we had been climbing in
silence for a while, and that not even the appearance of the Cougar had
elicited anything but awed silence from the rest of the group. My voice
sounded hollow in the confines of the canyon. Around the next switch back,
what appeared to be a cave opened in the wall of the canyon.
"This is the old mining operation I told you about." Dale made a rush to
enter the dark tunnel, but I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "It could
be dangerous Dale." I picked up a stone about the size of a baseball, and
pitched it into the dark opening. As it landed with a crash, something
large and angry howled and shuffled around. We could hear it moving deeper
into the tunnel, and then quieted down. The boys and Jack all looked at me
in silence.
"I think it's a bear," I said. "But I've never seen it. It always goes
deeper inside when you throw a stone into the mine shaft. Mister Davis told
me about him the last time I was up here.
"Come on around the trail; I'll show you his fishing hole."
"Fishing hole?" Jack seemed incredulous there could be fish this far up
box canyon.
We broke out of the underbrush, that had been obscuring the vista, and
there in front of us was a large round pool of water. Across from us a thin
waterfall plunged over the lip of the end of the canyon, and splashed into
the pool. The water was so clear and clean, it was deceptive. In its
depths, the dark forms of several large trout hung motionless in the
clarity.
"This is his fishing hole. But come on, I want to show you my favorite
part of this place." We worked our way around behind the waterfall, and
emerged on the sunny side of the canyon. The path broadened a bit there,
and the stone walls of the rock face, were covered with ancient petroglyphs.
Mountain goats, bear, and deer were pecked out of the stone. Here and
there were human shapes, all square and broad, and sporting obvious hardons.
I pointed them out to the guys, and led the way further along. Under a
deep overhang of stone a small stone pueblo was built. From my reading, I
knew it to be about 8oo years old, but because of its protected situation,
it was in perfect condition. I'd lived in it for a week the last time I'd
come up to this canyon. The silence and grandeur had been a balm for my
city stressed nerves.
"In the Spring, these walls are covered with Columbine flowers and
hummingbirds nest in them. We'll have to come back then so you can see it
in all its glory." The boys were already exploring the ruin with caution,
remembering the bear in the mine shaft. A badger emerged from one of the
smaller rooms, and growling at being disturbed, waddled off into the
underbrush.
"Hey look at this," Danny shouted. The rest of us crowded around a room
that I'd called the granary when I'd lived in it last. He was examining a
large stone metate, and mano sitting in the center of the room. I told them
it had been used by the Tonto Basin Indians who had built this house to
grind their grains. Danny took a few slides with the Mano, and commented at
how heavy it was. I stepped around him and lifted a flat stone that was
part of the dusty floor. under it in a cavity, was a complete pot, filled
with dried corn cobs and a few kernels of parched corn. I lifted the pot
out to show them. It was not painted, and had obviously been strictly
utilitarian used for grain storage. After it was examined by everyone, I
replaced it carefully, and recovered it with it's ancient stone protector.
"I found it last time I was here."
I showed them the cut stone pool that collected water from a tiny seep in
the canyon wall, and they all drank the cool sweet water left for them by
the ancients who had found this place first.
We looked around for awhile longer, and then decided to head back down. At
the pool, the boys decided to plunge in and get some of the mud and dust off
their bodies and out of their hair. In the water, they all stripped out of
their cutoffs, and made the water cloudy with silt. The water was cold, and
they weren't long in it before they came out shivering.
"Lay down in that grass over there in the sun by the wall," I pointed.
"Take a clue from the cougar and let the sun do its work to dry and warm
you." The spread their cutoffs out and peeled off their wet hiking boots
and socks, and set them all in a row to dry. Jack and I went exploring a
little further while the boys did their thing.
"you know," Jack said, this is simply fantastic. Who would even know we
were here if we hadn't gotten Mister Davis' permission."
"It's my secret place. I don't tell everybody how to find it, and I've
come up here from time to time just to recharge my batteries. I love it as
if it was a little bit of heaven."
"Well," he said, kissing me on the cheek. "Thanks for sharing it with us.
It feels so good here, it makes me horny."
"Me too. I Nearly jacked my dick off the first time I came up here."
"Well, you won't have to do that this time." He took me in his arms and
began rubbing our groins together. We both spring hardons immediately. I
pulled off my tshirt, and then helped him pull his off. Our nipples were
all erect, and I bent to take his left one in my mouth. He sighed and ran
his hands through my hair, rocking my head as I sucked on his chest. He
raised my face up to his, and we kissed, exchanging tongues, and groping
each other's hard cocks through the fabric of out shorts. He dropped to his
knees, and dragged my clothes off me setting my boner free. He grabbed it
in his hand, and swallowed it down like a starving man given a nipple full
of milk.
"Oh Jack," I hissed, flexing my butt forcing more of my cock into his
mouth. He'd become a wonderful cock sucker in the short weeks we had been
living together. He knew exactly where I loved to feel his tongue. "Suck
it baby," I cradled his head in my hands, and fed him my cock. He reached
for my nuts, which were already pulling up to my shaft, and pulled down on
them trying to prolong my ecstasy. I stared humping his throat, and gasped
as my body began to shake and tremble under his mouth.
"You're too good baby! take my load." I shivered, and started pumping him
full of my hot sperm. He swallowed it down, and gradually pulled off my
still stiff cock and licked my sensitive glans clean. He looked up at me
and smiled.
"I want to fuck you now," he said, using my stiff cock as a handle to pull
himself up off his knees. He shoved his shorts down around his ankles, and
pushed me up against the canyon wall. His warm hands spread my cheeks, and
I felt a warm gob of spit slide down my crack. He took his hard cock in his
hand, and used it to rub his spit into my hole, and before I could take a
breath, he forced his cock head into my hole with a thrust of his hips.
"Fuck me baby," I leaned forward, and pushed back against his thrusts. He
wasted little time going at me like a sex starved convict. I had to admire
his technique and the quick learner he'd been figuring out what turned me on
the most.
He was pounding my ass hard in no time at all, and I felt him take my stiff
cock in hand, and begin jacking me to his rhythm. I could hardly stand the
sensations, and he soon had me moaning my pleasure in his ear, my head
thrown back over his shoulder.
"Harder Jack, tear my ass apart with that big dick of yours." He plunged
full bore into my asshole, and pulled out completely, before plunging into
the bottom. His big nuts in their hanging sack slapped mine every time he
reached the depths of my soul.
His breathing grew heavier, and his grip tightened on my cock. I felt him
start to tremble, fucking me harder and harder until his body seemed like a
machine designed for my pure pleasure. "Oh fuck...fuck..." He stiffened in
my ass full length, and I felt his cock begin to pulse, shooting his sweet
cum into my body like a fire hose.
"Jack, you fucking treasure." I turned my head and tried to kiss him. He
shivered the last of his cum shots into me, and then humped into my ass hole
a few more times, before pulling his wilting cock out of my body.
I had cum again, and my pearly slashes were dripping down the rock in front
of me. I bend to pull up my shorts, and he slapped my butt with his hand,
and grinned at me before pulling his own shorts up over his semihard cock.
We headed back to where the boys were sunbathing, arms over each other's
shoulders like best buddies, which we had become.
As we rounded the switch back from which we would see the boys, we both
stopped in our tracks. Dale was standing behind Danny, who was leaning
against the canyon wall much as I had been a few moments before, and Dale
was fucking him hard, with his teenaged cock, pounding his tender hole.
John was on his knees between Danny and the stone face of the canyon,
sucking Danny's cock like a piston. He was jerking his on cock in tune with
his mouth strokes on Danny's hardness.
Danny arched his back as we watched, and was obviously filling John's
throat with cum. We could see John's throat muscles flexing as he
swallowed. Dale grunted and shoved into Danny to the hilt, and leaned over
backward, holding on to Danny's hips to keep from keeling over. His
trembling body told us he was cuming in his new brother's ass like a geyser.
John pounded his stiff cock a few more strokes, and then his ropes of hot
boy cum were spraying the grass between both his brother's legs. He shot
several great splashes of cum into the grass a good six feet from the head
of his cock. You had to admire the spunk these boys could throw.
They began to relax from their sexual high, and we walked up to them. I
told them that had been a hot scene to watch, and they just grinned, and
tugged on their dicks and nuts. They started pulling on their nearly dry
cutoffs, and then taking my hand, dragged me over to show me something they
didn't think I knew about.
At the base of the rock face, where it met the level platform that held the
trail and the shelf the ruin was situated on, they pulled back some of the
grass and plants growing there to show me a series of petroglyphs carved
there in ancient times. At first I couldn't quite make out what they
showed, but as I looked from one to the other of the five groupings, I saw
they were images of men sucking each other or fucking standing up. The long
cocks chipped out of the stone, made it a very clear interpretation.
We made our way back down the canyon to the Jeep, discussing the meaning of
the carvings. The boys decided that the ancients who had built the pueblo
had been a group of lovers who had banded together to have their own society
away from the rest of their people. I couldn't offer any other argument, so
we reached the conclusion that the ancients had been a family much like we
were. Men of similar interests, joined together to share their lives to the
benefit of the group, instead of going it alone.
By the time we got to the barbed wire gate across the creek, it was dusk.
We reached the highway, and drove to Miami, and ate Mexican food in a little
cafe I know. We drank beer with our food and talked about the day. It just
seemed to me to be getting better and better.
That night, we all slept in the king sized bed together, sharing our
closeness feeling our naked skin touching and rubbing against each other to
our heart's content. It was true we had become a family.
