Jason---A Love Story
Chapter 13.
Part 1.

Authors note: Well my dear readers, this is the final chapter. I wish to
thank you once again for reading my little story. This chapter is
dedicated first to Christian and Christopher. You are my inspiration and
my example for the perfect gay couple. You two help me stay strong and
help keep hope alive in my life. I love you both. I also want to dedicate
this final chapter to all those looking for love in their corner of the
world. Sit back and dream with me as you read the final chapter of
"Jason--A Love Story." Finally, this chapter is dedicated to my friend,
Jason, who continues to be the constant source of pleasant thoughts in my
life. You have been the inspiration for a six-month adventure that has
touched many lives. I love you Jason.

From Chapter 12.
Sam lowered the gun towards Jason's chest, and began to pull the
trigger, as I pounced from my squatting position. I knocked Jason to the
ground as the gun went off with a earth shattering "BANG--BANG!!!!" I
thought I heard the apartment door being kicked in as I yelled, "I LOVE YOU
JASON. PLEASE FORGIVE ME." Then everything went black.

And the story continues...

I was sitting in the open field where Jason and I spent those first
few moments together, away from the eyes of the crowd at the picnic. Jason
was sitting next to me, holding my hand as we chatted about nothing in
particular. Suddenly a dark cloud began to form on the horizon and soon
the sun had disappeared and drops of rain began to fall. I turned to look
at Jason and he was no longer there next to me, but instead Sam stood
towering over me laughing, "Did you think you'd get rid of me that easily,
you slut. Jason's gone you whore, I shot him dead. And now I'm taking you
to hell with me." I screamed, "OH GOD, PLEASE, NO!!!!" Immediately a
bright light descended through the clouds, and a figure appeared on the
field over in the distance. The being began to move towards Sam and I. As
the entity moved closer, I gasped, "Chris, is that you?" The form of a man
familiar to me came closer as Sam growled, "Another of your slut tricks,
Don? You whore." The man gracefully raised his right arm and a bolt of
light flashed from his extended hand, knocking Sam to the ground. As Sam
tried to stand, a dark funnel descended from the sky and enveloped him.
The funnel began to swirl faster and began ascending into the clouds above,
taking Sam with it, as he bellowed evilly, "I'll be back, Don. This isn't
over yet." Tears rolled down my cheeks as the man came up to me and placed
his arm around my shoulders. I recognized Chris, my friend of twenty some
years. We had met when I first started working as a teenager. Chris was
my straight friend, who I had only recently come out to, after so many
years of hiding the fact that I was gay from him. I sobbed, "Chris, it
really is you." Chris smiled, "Yes Don, it's me." I continued, "But how,
why are you here? I don't understand what is going on." Chris explained,
"You are between life and death Don. Sam shot you. Now, you have a
decision to make. I'm here to help you make that decision." I continued,
"Decision. What decision?" Chris continued, "Don, do you love Jason?" I
quickly replied, "Yes, of course." Chris reiterated, "No, Don. Do you
love Jason more than life itself?" I continued, "Yes I do. He is my life.
Without Jason, I don't exist." Chris beamed, "Then you need to return to
him. You shouldn't be here right now. Your love for Jason will guide you
back." Chris suddenly disappeared, as a rainbow colored cavern appeared in
his place. I entered the cavern, and began to hear voices and noises
coming from the distance. I started to walk slowly towards the voices.

I could hear monitors beeping as my eyes slowly opened. A bright
light shined down on me, as I looked upward, trying to focus my eyes. I
groggily spoke, "Jason, where are you?" I felt a hand grasp mine as an
angelic voice at my right side stated, "I'm here my sweet prince." I
turned to the right and saw Jason's tear filled eyes. I smiled, "I love
you Jason." Jason's smile broke through the tears, "I love you too babe.
Now try to rest. I'll be here when you wake back up." I drifted out of
consciousness again, as pleasant thoughts of Jason filled my dreams.

I awoke with a start, and looked around the darkened room. I
glanced at Jason, sleeping in the chair next to the bed. I whispered,
"Jason, where am I, what happened?" My thoughts suddenly went back to the
apartment and I remembered Sam pointing the gun at Jason. I began to sob
lightly, which must have awakened Jason from his slumber. Jason sat on the
bed next to me, took my hand, and looked deep into my questioning eyes.
Jason began, "Don, you're in the hospital babe. You saved my life, sweet
prince. You were hit by the bullets that Sam meant for me." I smiled,
"Unconditional love Jason. It took control." Jason smiled, "I know babe."
I looked at Jason, "What happened Jason? Where is Sam? The last thing I
remember is hearing the sound of a door being kicked in." Jason smiled,
"Sam won't be hurting you again. Now rest babe, and in the morning I'll
tell you the rest of the story." I smiled as I softly spoke, "Ok babe.
Jason, you have to call my friend Chris. Paul can help you find him.
Please call him." I quickly drifted back to sleep, from the effects of the
medications I was receiving. Jason quietly slipped from the room, to the
pay phone, and made several phone calls.

I opened my eyes and tried to sit up in the bed. I felt a dull
pain in my chest so I just relaxed against the flat bed. I called out,
"Jason, are you here?" There was no answer, but then I heard the flushing
of the toilet. I could see the top of a door open, and then Jason's
comforting face was hovering over me. I smiled, "I was worried you had
gone." Jason leaned over the bed and gave me a kiss before responding. "I
was just cleaning up a bit. I didn't want to have morning breath when I
kissed you." I giggled, "My breath musta been terrible then." Jason
smiled, "Naw, the nurses have been seeing to that." I asked, "Jason, can
you raise the bed a little? I tried to sit up but it hurt to much." Jason
quickly pressed the button raising the head of the bed to a 45-degree
angle. "Is that better babe?" I replied, "Much, now I can see my handsome
boyfriend better." Jason cooed, "I love you Don." I whispered, "Love you
too Jason." Jason placed his hand on my cheek and caressed it gently, then
kissed me again. I smiled at Jason, "How long have I been here babe?"
Jason answered, "Four days Don. But you slept through them all until
yesterday afternoon." I worriedly looked at Jason, "Am I gonna be ok
Jason? What all happened?" Jason lowered the side rail of the bed and sat
next to me, taking my right hand in his.

Jason began, "You're gonna be fine Don. The doctors had to operate
to remove the bullets, but no organs were hit. They made sure you slept so
the wounds could start to heal. The doctor will be in a little later, but
he told me yesterday, after you woke up the first time, that you could
probably go home in a couple more days. But you have to rest, and you know
the rest of the plan, my little nursing student. We have to make sure you
don't get an infection, and you have to start eating good too." I smiled,
"Yeah, I know the routine. So, what else happened? Jason, what about
Sam?" Jason continued, "Sam's dead Don. Remember when you heard the door
being broken open?" I nodded, then Jason continued, "Mike kicked the door
in and then Paul and Tom burst into the room with him. Robert waited
downstairs to let the police, which were coming, know which apartment to go
to. Sam tried to turn and fire his gun at Mike, but Tom kicked his hand
and the gun went flying across the floor to where Paul was standing. Paul
picked up the gun while Mike told Sam to get up. As Sam stood up he pulled
a knife out of his boot and threw it at Tom, but it just missed him. Then
Sam tried to lunge at Mike and when he did, Paul fired the gun and shot Sam
right through the heart. Sam died before the ambulances ever arrived. It
all happened very fast, while I was holding you in my arms, terrified that
you would leave me forever. I never prayed so hard and fast in my whole
life. The ambulances came about five minutes later, and brought you here."
I had tears in my eyes as Jason finished relaying the events to me. I
sobbed, "Is Paul ok?" Jason continued, "Paul is fine, but Tom was pretty
shook up. He was worried that Paul might start having nightmares. But I
made sure Paul talked to a counselor here at the hospital." Jason giggled,
"Paul thinks he is Rambo now. Mike said that would pass soon though. You
made the front page of the paper thanks to Robert, along with all the
television news programs here. Paul has enjoyed his little time in the
media too." I laughed, "Paul was loving the media attention, I'm sure. Is
Mike still here? I want to be sure to thank him before he leaves town."
Jason smiled brightly; "Mike will be here for a while, Don. It seems Mike
and Robert are totally smitten with each other. Mike asked for a transfer
to the local unit here, so he and Robert have been out apartment hunting.
Everyone will be in a little later this morning to visit." I smiled, "I'm
glad none of you were hurt." I frowned a bit, "It's too bad Sam had to
die, but I guess that was meant to be." Jason comforted, "Don't think
about that right now babe. Remember, you told me there is a reason for
everything, so we just have to accept that." I leaned my head over to
Jason and kissed his cheek. "I'm gonna sleep for a while now Jason.
Please don't leave me babe." Jason whispered, "Sleep my sweet prince,
cause I'm never gonna leave your side again." I drifted off to sleep in
Jason's strong arms.

The next time I woke, Jason was standing next to the bed looking
down at me with his loving eyes. I smiled, "Hi there gorgeous. I'm
hungry." Jason laughed, "Hi there yourself handsome. Feel like going for
a little ride, and maybe I can get the nurse to find ya some food." Jason
pointed to the wheel chair as he spoke. I asked, "Is it ok with the
doctor?" Jason smiled, "Yeah. The doctor had the nurses given orders to
get you out of bed when you woke up. There are some people waiting to see
you down the hall." I nodded to Jason, and he lowered the rails on the
bed, helped me maneuver to the edge, and then helped me stand and turn to
sit in the wheelchair. I smiled, "You'd be a good nursing assistant
Jason." Jason snickered, "I only wanna nurse one man, the rest are on
their own." Jason wheeled the chair from the room, down the hall, and then
into another large room. Paul and Tom were the first people I saw, as
tears filled my eyes. Paul and Tom both gave me a big hug, and Tom stated,
"Bout time you two got out here. Paul was ready to bust down the doors to
come get ya." I laughed, "Yeah, I heard he is Rambo Jr. now. Thanks
Paul. You did a good thing, probably saved many other lives." Paul was
trying to hold back tears as he nodded to me. Next Robert and Mike came
into view. I burst into tears as Mike hugged me, and I whispered, sobbing
in his hear, "Thank you. Now you better take good care of Robert for me."
Mike smiled through glassy eyes; "I will Don. We have good examples like
you and Jason around for us, so we can't go wrong." Robert hugged me,
"Love Mike, like I love Jason, Robert, and you'll have it made." Robert
smiled through his tears. I almost fell out of the wheelchair, when my
sister, Jill, and my friend, Chris, walked up next. Jill smiled, "Heck of
a way for me to meet your new boyfriend Don. Next time a phone call will
do." I giggled, "Won't be a next time. Jason's the one and only." Jill
giggled, "I know. He really loves you a lot. I can tell these things you
know." I laughed, remembering those were the exact words I had told her
when she met her husband. Chris came up next and stated, "Cock." I
retorted, "Dick." We had greeted each other this way for over twenty
years. I smiled, "I'm glad Jason found you. You were in my dream. You
sent me back here to Jason." Chris smiled, "You watch to many movies Don,
but hey, I'm glad I could help. So, you really love this guy, huh?" I
replied, emphatically, "Yeah, I really do." Chris beamed, "Kewl. As long
as you're happy, then you know you have my support. I hope we get to spend
more time together. I want to get to know Jason too. He seems like a
great dude. Then I'll have someone else to help me pick on you." I
giggled, "Two against one. Sounds fair to me!" Jill interrupted, "Mom and
Lee will be here in a day or so." I rolled my eyes, knowing that would be
an adventure, since my mom had never met any of my boyfriends before. Jill
laughed, knowing exactly what I was thinking.

I visited with everyone until the doctor wandered into the waiting
room. Jason wheeled me back to the room, and then stepped out while the
doctor checked my wounds. He commented, "You're doing great Don. I think
you can go home tomorrow afternoon, since I know that young man of yours
will take good care of you." I blushed at his words, but thanked him
heartily. Once the doctor left, Jason, Tom, and Paul came back into the
room. Jason stated, "So what did the doc say babe." I happily replied, "I
get to go home tomorrow, cause he says I got a good man to take care of
me." Tom and Paul giggled, while Jason continued, "Good, I can hardly wait
to give you a sponge bath." We all started laughing, then I asked, "Did
everyone else leave?" Jason answered, "Yep, for now. Jill is gonna stay
with Chris and his girlfriend while she is here. Mike and Robert went to
sign the lease on their new apartment." I looked at Tom and Paul. "You
guys should get back to your jobs. I don't want your businesses going
under because of me." Tom laughed, but Paul had this serious teary-eyed
look on his face. "Paul, stop worrying, the doc says I'm gonna be good as
new in no time." Paul started to cry as he knelt beside me. "I was so
afraid I would loose you. I don't know what I would have done." Jason and
Tom walked out of the room to give Paul and I time to comfort each other's
fears. About 5 minutes later they returned, both of them smiling, as Jason
remarked, "Paul, are you ok now?" Paul smiled at Jason and then walked
back over to Tom and they huddled in the corner for a minute, while Jason
helped me get back into the bed.

Jason giggled, "Hey you two, I thought you had something you wanted to ask
Don?" Paul and Tom walked over to the bed, and then each of them took a
seat, one on each side of me. Paul began, "What are you going to be doing
on September 11th Don?" I answered, "Probably homework. That's almost two
months away, I don't know. Why?" Tom giggled, "Paul and I have a little
catering job for you that day." Jason was trying to hold back from
laughing, as I questioned, "What, something they can't handle at the cafe?"
Tom and Paul both snickered, "Something we would only trust you with, Don."
My expression changed instantly to a huge beaming smile, "You're fucking
shittin' me. Are you guys gonna finally get married?" Jason started
laughing heartily, as Tom and Paul both stated, "Yes." I yelled, "FUCKIN'
KEWL!!! Of course I am doing the catering. Paul continued, "That's not
all. Tom and I discussed it and we want you and Jason to be our best men."
Jason was surprised by this announcement, as he replied, "Really, you want
me?" Tom replied, "Yep, you were my choice. You're the best friend, other
than Don, that I've had in a long time, Jason." Now, Jason was the one
with tears in his eyes and totally speechless. This simple act told Jason
that he was truly accepted by my two best friends, and that now, he also
had finally made some quality friendships. I hugged Tom and whispered,
"Thank you Tom, you can't even fathom what this means to Jason, let alone
me." Then I hugged Paul, and giggled, "Bout' time bitch!!!" Paul laughed,
then became serious, "Well, we needed a little inspiration, and after what
you and Jason have been through, and the way you have stood by each other,
Tom and I decided that this is the best way that we could celebrate the
power of love." I was awe struck by Paul's remarks and tears came to my
eyes. Paul hugged me, at the same time that Jason hugged Tom. Then I
stated, excitedly, "This is gonna be so much fun. It will be the event of
decade. I want ice sculptures, and fountains, and huge shrimp trees, and
melon baskets, and…." Paul and Tom both laughed, "Calm down Don. You
don't have to plan the whole thing today." Jason wasn't sure what to make
of my enthusiasm, but Paul explained, "Jason. Don has been pestering us
for almost two years to get married, cause he wanted to cater the wedding.
You're gonna have to keep him grounded, or were liable to end up having the
reception at the White House." We all laughed, heartily.

Tom and Paul then told us they had better get back to work, but would stop
by later in the day to check on me. We all hugged, and then Tom and Paul
left my hospital room to continue their day. Jason came and sat on the bed
next to me, kissing me briefly, before asking, "Don, do you still want to
stay at my house, now that Sam is gone?" I looked into his emotion filled
eyes, as I cooed, "Of course Jason. Do you still want me to stay
permanently?" Jason whispered, "Of course my sweet prince." I smiled at
Jason and then yawned. Jason assumed the role of caregiver. "You better
rest for a while. Is it ok if I leave for a bit? I need to check on
Brandon and take care of a few details at work." I sleepily remarked,
"Sure babe. But you will come back later today right?" Jason whispered,
"Of course. I'm staying the night with you here. Remember, no more nights
alone for either of us." I smiled as I drifted off to sleep, feeling Jason
kiss my forehead, and whispering, "I love you babe."

Jason exited the hospital, and quickly drove home. After taking care of
Brandon, he called the salon and told them he would be off for the next
week. Then he called a moving company and made arrangements to have my
things packed and brought to his apartment. Next, Jason called my sister
to find out when my mom was due to arrive in town. Finally, Jason called
Tom's cell number. When Tom answered, Jason asked, "Tom, you ready to go
shopping with me?" Tom giggled, "Sure thing Jason. I'll be over in ten
minutes. Don't worry, Paul doesn't have a clue what were up too." Jason
laughed as he hung up the phone, and then played with Brandon until Tom
arrived. The two men quickly sped off to their destination, laughing and
bantering back and forth, proud of their perfectly disguised plans.

I woke up later that afternoon to an empty room. A few minutes later,
Jason, Jill, and Chris walked in carrying balloons, plants, and a bundle of
cards. Jason explained, "All these came to the hospital today. Looks like
you have a fan club out their Don." Jason and I began opening the cards
while visiting with my sister and Chris, and soon Paul and Tom arrived. We
all had a nice visit, and the nurses even sneaked in food for us all. Soon
it was getting late and everyone had to leave. It was agreed that everyone
would meet at Jason's the following evening, so that I could have time
alone with my mom at the hospital before going home. Once the gang exited
the room, Jason helped me walk to the bathroom so I could clean up a bit
before bed. After getting me back in bed, Jason began to remove his
clothing, and once undressed, climbed into the bed with me. I giggled,
"Jason, the nurses might not like this to much, but I sure do like you
being next to me." Jason snickered; I already bribed the nursing staff.
They are all coming down to the salon in a couple of weeks for a nurses day
at the spa." I whispered, "Jason, you are such a sweet man. It is so rare
for anyone to ever do something nice for the nursing staff in the
hospitals. I know they will definitely appreciate it." I kissed Jason
lovingly, and caressed his naked chest, and whispered, "I gotta remember to
ask the doc when I can have sex with you again. I miss you being inside me
Jason." Jason smiled, "I already asked the doc. He said once you got home
it would be ok, but we have to be careful to not traumatize your wounds.
But I already have lots of ideas on how we will take care of that
situation." I snickered, "Oh Jason!!" Jason snuggled up close to me and
carefully placed one hand under my head and the other gently on my stomach
as he whispered, "Go to sleep now babe." I drifted off to sleep, content
in Jason's arms.

Jason---A Love Story Chapter 13. Part 2.

I awoke the next morning to Jason's angelic eyes watching closely over me.
I giggled, "Mornin' babe." Jason cooed, "Morning lover. Did you sleep
ok?" I replied, "I slept great. Had sweet dreams about me and you."
Jason smiled, "I had erotic dreams about you." I snickered, "Oh baby, do
me, do me." Jason playfully slapped my ass, "What till I get you home
babe. But for now, we better get up. Your mom should be arriving soon,
and we don't want her to catch us like this." I giggled, "That's for sure.
She'd flip." Jason helped me out of the bed and we went into the bathroom
and both washed up. Jason then straightened up the room, and soon the
charge nurse brought us both some breakfast. She talked for a few minutes
with Jason and showed him how to change my dressings, and then left us
alone to eat. About an hour later Jason took the trays back to the nurses
station, while I watched some television. I dosed off again in the
recliner chair, and was awakened by voices as the door to my room opened.
My mom came in, followed by Jason. She was all teary eyed as she came over
to hug me. I was really nervous, as she began to speak. "You know son,
you made the news, even down in Florida. I was shocked to hear about how
all this happened because Jill didn't give me a lot of details when she
called. I am really proud of the way you sacrificed your own safety for
someone you obviously care a great deal about. Jason and I had a little
chat before coming in. He seems like a very bright and caring young man.
I don't claim to understand very much about the gay lifestyle, but you both
obviously love each other, so I certainly can't condemn something like
that. Lee and I will always support you both in anything you do." I had
this look of shocked relief on my face, while tears rolled down my cheeks.
She gave me another hug and then went over to Jason and whispered, "You
take good care of my son young man." Then she hugged Jason, before
continuing. "So where do I get a cup of coffee around here. Jason left
the room to get some coffee, while my mom filled me in on all the gossip
from Florida. Soon after Jason returned with the coffee, the doctor came
in and examined my wounds, and then told me I could leave as soon as all
the paperwork was finalized. I was thrilled and Jason and my mom began to
pack up the cards and other goodies that had flooded the room during my
stay. My mom stated, "I'm gonna go back to the hotel and get some lunch
with Lee, and then we will meet you over at Jason's later this afternoon.
I know you two will want a little time alone, and I have to prepare Lee for
meeting Brandon, let alone Jason." We all laughed heartily, and then my
mom kissed Jason and me goodbye. After she left the room, I smiled at
Jason, "You are truly amazing babe. You won her over, and I didn't think
that would ever be possible." Jason responded, "Love conquers all babe."
We finished packing as the nurse brought in the final paperwork for me to
sign, and then I climbed into the wheel chair, and Jason escorted me out of
the hospital, into his car, and we drove off towards OUR home.

Jason and I arrived home to a very happy welcoming from Brandon. Jason had
to hold him down so he would jump and hurt my healing wounds. As we
entered the room, I noticed a wall of boxes sitting to one side of the
room. Jason giggled, "I hope ya don't mind, but I had most of your things
brought over from the apartment. All the furniture is in storage now too,
so we can decide what to keep later." I was ecstatic, "Kewl Jason! I'm
actually going to be living with my boyfriend. I love you babe." Jason
smiled, "I'm glad you are happy babe, I wanted to surprise you." I gave
Jason a big hug, and then he led me to the couch. I want you to rest for a
while Don, while I fix some dinner for everyone." I cooed, "What ya gonna
fix babe, and when are they coming over." Jason answered, "Spaghetti, and
they're coming around six. So you rest, and no trying to sneak into the
kitchen to help." I positioned myself comfortably on the couch, and soon
was sound asleep.

While I slept, Jason began to prepare the meal, and once the spaghetti
sauce was simmering, he made several phone calls. I awoke about 5:30 to
the sound of the apartment door opening. Brandon came rushing in pulling
Jason behind him. I laughed, "Did you get a good workout." Jason
snickered, "Damn Don. How do you manage this without loosing your arm?
Brandon is so strong." I continued, "Practice babe, lots of practice."
Brandon ran swiftly towards the couch, and I turned so he would pounce on
my chest. As soon as I started petting him, he settled down, and sat
quietly next to me. Jason went back to working in the kitchen and soon I
could hear voices in the hallway, and Brandon jumped from the couch to the
door and started barking furiously, before a knock was ever sounded. Jason
quickly opened the door and Paul and Tom entered the apartment, followed by
Mike, Robert, Jill, Chris, my mom, and Lee. A moment later, there was
another knock on the door, and Paul quickly answered it. In walked Laura
from my work, along with Pam from the salon. I glanced over to Jason, and
he smiled, "It's a party, what can I say." I introduced Laura and Pam to
the rest of the group, and then we all sat down to eat. Following dinner,
Paul and Chris took care of cleaning the dishes, and I was happy to see my
oldest friend getting along so well with my best friend. Mike kept
everyone else entertained with stories from his FBI adventures, and soon
Paul and Chris joined in on the story telling, trying to embarrass me with
quips about my life that the rest in attendance had never heard before. I
noticed Tom and Jason leave the room for a few minutes, and I figured they
were just doing what Paul and I used to do, spending some private time
together. A little while later Tom and Jason returned, going directly into
the kitchen, and not even glancing my way. I thought, "That is strange. I
wonder what's up." The conversation kept us distracted, and soon Tom
returned, carrying a tray holding twelve, filled, wine glasses, followed by
Jason. Tom and Jason passed a glass to each person in the room, and then
sat the tray aside. Tom took a seat next to Paul, and Jason came and sat
next to me.

Jason began, "I wanted you all here tonight to celebrate Don's return home
from the hospital. Don and I haven't known each other very long, and to
some of you it may seem like this has been a whirlwind romance. Well, it
has been." Jason took my hand and then continued. "Don has taught me that
love is an amazing gift, given by God, to two people under sometimes,
unusual circumstances. The first night that I spent with Don, we talked
about love, and he explained that it has many facets and levels. Don used
examples from his life to explain his theories on love, and most of you
were those examples. Don says that the greatest love is unconditional in
nature, which means that the one you love is more important than anything
else in life, including your own life. Don himself was that example, when
he put his own life in danger, to save mine from Sam's bullets. I hope
that we all have learned that love is miraculous, cause I think it's a
miracle that Don is sitting here with me." Jason looked over at Tom and
nodded his head.

Tom began, "I met Don shortly after I started dating Paul. Don was Paul's
closest friend, except for Robert. Don and I hit it off immediately and
became great friends, and it seemed he accepted me without question,
because Paul loved me. That is pretty amazing in this world today, which
is filled with so much cynicism. I am an expert on cynicism at times,
especially when it comes to God, but Don here tried to constantly thwart my
unbelieving nature every chance he got. At the time that Don and Jason
met, Don's life wasn't always very happy. He was often lonely, and Paul
and I, found out later, very depressed. Jason changed all that. I told
Paul a while ago that Jason was a miracle, sent specifically for Don. In
doing so, I had to examine my own beliefs. Then this terrible thing with
Sam happened, and Don practiced once again what he always preached, that
love for another is the greatest power on earth. I know that Don saved
Jason's life, because he loves him more than anything in this world. I
have learned that God is working in Don's life, and he must not be
finished, because Don's love for Jason, and Jason's love for Don has
brought them both from deaths door, back to us here tonight. Paul and I
are going to getting married, and we're doing it in a church, and the
reasons for both are because of the example that Don has consistently shown
to us both. The example that, love, is what matters above everything else
in our lives." I had tears streaming down my face as I whispered, "Thank
you" to Tom. Tom looked over at Chris, and nodded.

Chris began, "I have know Don for over twenty years. We first met as
teenagers working our first job. Don was a friend of my brothers, and it
seemed we just became friends overnight. We did a lot of crazy stuff back
then, but Don had this faith in the world, that it could become a better
place. Over the years we have drifted apart and come back together several
times. I have seen him grow, just as he has watched my life change. Don
only told me a month ago that he was gay and I practically had to drag it
out of him. I had suspected for a while, but didn't know how to approach
him. Don was worried that if he told me, it would cause me hurt, pain, or
grief. He was always like that over the years. Constantly worried about
other people, before himself. I am very proud to have a friend like Don.
I am so happy that he has met Jason. I don't know Jason very well yet, but
I will be getting to know him, because if he is important to Don, then
Jason is important to all of us. I love you bud. Always have and always
will, no matter what." The whole room had glassy eyes. Chris looked Paul
and nodded.

Paul voice was noticeably quivering, "Don is my friend, but more
importantly, I am Don's friend. We met at college, and became instant
friends. We have laughed, cried, danced, sang, gossiped, worked, and
played together. Don thinks of me as his brother. He tells everyone that,
so it's no secret. I have watched him and Jason like a hawk since they
met. I wanted to make sure Don didn't get hurt again. I knew that Sam had
caused Don a lot of pain in their relationship, but Don never told any of
us how bad things were with Sam, because he always tried to protect his
friends from anything that was evil, and as we all know, Sam was evil.
Jason turned Don's life around in an instant. I was cautiously optimistic
at first, but I could see as the hours went by that what Don and Jason
shared was a love that was limitless. I know how Don feels about love,
because he lives it every single day. I know that Jason and Don will be
together forever, hear on earth and beyond. In two weeks time they have a
love that most couples, gay or straight, never see in a lifetime. Tom and
I decided to get married because we know that our love will see us through
anything life throws at us. Don and Jason have taught us both that. I
love you my friend and my brother. This is your time for happiness; you've
earned it. I know that Jason will take good care of you, because he loves
you as much as you love him." Paul was crying to hard to speak anymore,
and as I looked around the room, many were shedding tears.

I began, "I don't know what I can say except thank you. You all are
important to me, and I love you all. I have Chris, my oldest friend, here
with me, and Mike, my newest friend, is here also. My family is here,
along with my boss, and Jason's boss. My three closest friends are here,
and we've shared so much the past few years. I believe that love is the
most powerful force on earth, because God is intertwined with love. I have
always had a lot of faith in humanity, that if humans used the power of
love in a positive way, the world could be changed for the better. I still
believe that to be true. After Sam and I split, I never thought I would
find someone special. I hoped and dreamed a lot, but didn't think it would
happen for me. Then Jason came into my world. It was love at first sight.
Jason says it has been like a whirlwind romance. It was even faster and
much more powerful than that. We both knew, I think, the moment we first
shook hands. Love started at that point, and grew by leaps and bounds.
Love is powerful, and has overcome evil itself. I am still here because of
Jason's love for me, and my love for him. There is nothing on this earth
that can overpower that love, as long as we continue to nurture it. That
is the secret. Love must be nurtured. Jason and I have done that since we
first met, and I believe we will continue to nurture this love throughout
our lives. I am so very proud to have you all here with me. Jason I Love
You. You are my life, my hope, and my future." I gave Jason a loving
kiss.

Jason continued, "The other reason I wanted all of you here tonight is to
be my witnesses." Jason reached in his pocket and pulled out a little
black box. I looked in Jason's loving eyes, as he continued, "Don. You
and I know that we have a love that is special, unique, and will last all
our lives. I have waited my whole life for you and then thought I might
loose you. I don't want to tempt fate again. Don. I want you for my life
partner. Will you marry me?" I beamed a smile as first, my eyes gave
Jason his answer, followed by my voice. "Yes Jason. I will be your life
partner, and I will marry you." Tom immediately lifted his wineglass and
toasted, "To Don and Jason." Everyone in the room raised their glasses,
"To Don and Jason." Jason opened the box and removed a slender gold ring
with an opal in the center, and slipped it on my ring finger. We hugged
and kissed as everyone clapped their hands. I whispered to Jason, "I love
you Jason." Jason whispered back, "I love you Don." Everyone took turns
coming up and congratulating us. My mom had this proud look in her eyes
that I hadn't seen in many years. My sister cried, which I hadn't seen in
even more years. Chris was ecstatic, and went to call his brother, whom
I'm sure would probably stroke out when he found out first that I was gay,
and then that I was getting married to a man. I whispered this to Jason
and we both giggled. Laura and Pam insisted that they handle the wedding
when we decided on a date, and I told them they would have to work with
Paul and Tom, cause I knew they would want to be in charge of the whole
affair. Mike and Robert were like a couple of kids, happy that they were
gonna be a part of it all. Eventually everyone began to leave for the
evening, and by 11pm, Jason and I shared the apartment only with Brandon.

Jason led me to the bedroom, and had me crawl into bed so he could change
my dressings. Brandon took his place at the foot of the bed, while Jason
fussed over me. Then Jason began to remove his shirt. I stated, "Jason,
let me do that." I sat up on the edge of the bed and Jason stood in front
of me. I slowly lifted his shirt over his head and softly kissed his
powerful chest. Then I undid the button of his pants, slid the zipper
down, and let his pants fall to the ground. Jason climbed onto the bed
next to me, and gently leaned me back and gave me a passionate kiss. After
breaking from the kiss, I looked in Jason's eyes and whispered, "What day
do you have in mind?" Jason smiled as he whispered, "I think the second
Saturday in December. I know Christmas is your favorite time of year, so
lets make it close to then. You will be out of school on holiday break, so
we will have time for a long, slow, honeymoon." I smiled, "That would be
perfect babe. I love you so much. You have made me very happy." Jason
cooed, "I love you my sweet prince, and you have made me the happiest guy
on earth." I whispered, "Jason, I'm gonna fall asleep soon. Just hold me
tonight. I'll make it up to ya in the morning." Jason giggled, "You don't
have to make anything up to me in the morning babe." Jason looked at me
seriously, "I am perfectly happy just holding you. Whenever you want to be
held, you just ask." Jason and I fell asleep that way, entwined in each
other's arms, and filled with pleasant dreams.

Jason---A Love Story Chapter 13. Part 3.

Jason and Tom bantered back and forth, and then Jason asked, "Is my
surprise ready?" Tom giggled, "Yes Jason, everything is ready to go, just
the way you wanted it. I still can't believe you pulled this off. Now
calm down will ya, or your gonna make me nervous." Jason paced back and
forth. "You're sure Don doesn't suspect anything?" Tom laughed, "Jason,
relax man, Paul and Chris have had Don sequestered since 8am. He's totally
clueless." Jason smiled brightly, "Good. I want this to be the ultimate
surprise of his life." Tom looked at his watch as a knock came on the
door. Robert's voice asked, "You guys ready in there? It's about time to
go." Tom opened the door, and he and Jason left the little room and
proceeded down the long hallway to their destination.

I was a bundle of nerves, as I again asked, "Is it time yet Paul?" Paul
laughed, "Almost Don, now sit your ass down, or I'll have Chris sit on your
ass so you can't move." Chris burst out in hysterics as he came and sat
next to me. "You ready, COCK?" I replied, "As ready as I'm ever gonna be,
DICK!" Paul snickered, "You two are so strange. I can't believe you do
that when you're in public." I laughed, "You think this is bad Paul? You
should have know us when we were both teenagers." Paul glanced at his
watch. A knock came at the door and Mike's voice asked, "You ready guys?
It's time to go." Paul stated, "Ok Mike. Let's get moving guys, we don't
want Don running late!!" Paul opened the door, and the three of us exited
the room; proceeding with Mike up the long hallway.

The auditorium was filled to capacity with friends, family, and the media.
This was the event so many had waited a lifetime for. The media had
followed Jason and I, after the shooting with Sam sparked a renewed
interest in the movement for hate crimes and domestic violence legislation
in Virginia. I took my place in the foyer of the 100 year old Unitarian
Church, as I heard the organ begin to play "My Heart Will Go On," the love
theme from Titanic. Jill's kids were first in the line, and they began to
walk into the auditorium dropping handfuls of rose petals with each step
they took. I could see the flash of camera lights, as they presented
almost a strobe like effect, while the children marched down the center
isle. Following the children was Mike. He smiled brightly at Robert as he
proceeded down the isle. Next was Paul, my best man. He looked especially
dashing in his black tux with the lavender cummerbund and bow tie. Paul
gracefully strutted down the isle until he reached the front of the
auditorium and then moved to the right side, standing to Mikes left. Now
it was my turn. I locked my arm in Christopher's and we turned the corner
and stood in the door way to the church auditorium. I was stunned as I
glanced in and saw a full symphony orchestra arranged in the choir loft.
Then I saw the love of my life standing there with an angelic smile on his
face. I thought, "Jason, what are you up to now?" Chris and I stepped
forward as the orchestra began to play the "The Processional March," from
The Sound of Music, while those in attendance rose to their feet. Chris
helped to hold me steady as I focused on Jason and began to walk down the
center isle. Camera's flashed from every direction as I passed by the rows
of pews on my way to Jason at the front of the century old church. I
glanced over to Tom and Robert as they stood beside Jason, both projecting
smiles that could have lit up an entire room. I stopped at the isle where
my mom was standing, and kissed her briefly. Then Chris escorted me to
Jason, gave us both a hug, and placed my left hand in Jason right hand and
we turned to face the front of the auditorium.

The Reverend Mel White stood in front of us and began, "Ladies and
gentlemen, friends and family, we are here today to celebrate in the
commitment and marriage of two very special people. Who gives Jason and
Don to each other here today?" Chris emphatically stated, "Their friends
and I do." Reverend White continued, "Before we start the rest of the
proceedings, Jason has arranged for a special surprise for Don. Don this
from Jason, with all his love." With that said, the orchestra began to
play the introduction to Andrew Lloyd Webber's, "All I Ask of You," from
Phantom of the Opera. I noticed the doors at each side of the choir area
in front of us open. Out of the left door strolled a man, and I almost
lost it as my jaw dropped practically to the floor. Walking toward us was
Elton John. I could hear gasps of surprise from the congregation behind
us, as I quickly glanced towards the right door, and out of it stepped a
beautiful young woman. I looked at Jason, and whispered, "It can't be. Oh
Jason, it is." Walking towards Jason and I was Sarah Brightman. Elton and
Sarah both picked up microphones that were placed next to the orchestra,
and then turned so they stood facing us and began to sing.

Elton John: No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyed fears; I'm
here, nothing can harm you, my words will warm and calm you. Let me be
your freedom, let daylight dry your tears; I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you. Sara Brightman: Say you'll love me ev'ry
waking moment; turn my head with talk of summertime. Say you need me with
you now and always; promise me that all you say is true, that's all I ask
of you. Elton John: Let me be your shelter, let me be your light; you're
safe, no one will find you, your fears are far behind you. Sarah
Brightman: All I want is freedom, a world with no more night; and you,
always beside me, to hold me and to hide me. Elton John: Then say you'll
share with me one love, one lifetime; let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you want me with you, here beside you, anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you. Sarah Brightman: Say you'll share with me one
love, one lifetime. Sarah and Elton: Say the word and I will follow you.
Share each day with me, each night, each morning. Sarah Brightman: Say you
love me ... Elton John: You know I do. Sarah and Elton: Love me, that's
all I ask of you ... Love me, that's all I ask of you.

I had tears rolling down my face throughout the song, and as Sarah
and Elton finished singing, the congregation began applauding fervently.
Sarah and Elton stepped forward and they each shook hands with Jason and I
before taking their seats in the front row of the auditorium. The Reverend
White once again stood before us and began, "Jason and Don, the marriage
ceremony is an outward commitment of what is found deep in your hearts.
God instituted marriage as a symbol of the profound love he has for all
mankind, whether they be gay, straight, black, white, or any other color
found in the rainbow. Because God has instituted this symbol, you must not
enter into it lightly, or without a total commitment to sustain each
other's love. After speaking with each of you separately and then
together, I am convinced of your commitment to each other. You are the
shining example of what love is all about on our earthly journey. Ladies
and gentlemen, Jason and Don have each written words that they wish to
share with each other, and with you, concerning their love for each other."
Jason and I turned so we were facing each other, and then Jason took both
my hands in his, and began,

Jason:
"Don, my sweet prince, I fell in love with you the first time we
touched each others hands at the picnic last summer. You are the answer to
all the prayers I've offered in my lifetime. You are an amazing
individual. Everyday I learn something new from you. You have taught me
so many things since we met, but most of all you have taught me what love
is all about, by your shining example of how you treat strangers, friends,
but most of all how you treat and care for me. The first night we spent
together, you told me about love, and gave me examples from your life,
including everyone from Brandon, your dog, to the friends we have standing
here with us today. You explained that love exists on various levels and
plains in our lives. You've shown me love on each of these levels everyday
since we first met. Then you showed me the meaning of unconditional love
by unselfishly protecting me from death's jaws. God has truly blessed me
since meeting you, with good friends, an enriched life, and the love of a
man that knows no boundaries. Today I am here to pledge my undying love
for you, and my commitment to nurture that love throughout our lives. I
love you Don. You are my favorite philosopher, my best friend, my perfect
lover, and my very sweet, sweet prince."

Don:
"Jason, my love. I fell in love with you the first moment my eyes
caught a glimpse of you. With the first kiss between us, I knew you were
meant to be my life partner. You are also an amazing individual. You
listen when I need to talk, you hold me when I need to feel protected, and
you love me when I feel rejected by the outside world. You have taught me
that all my beliefs about love are indeed true. You rescued me from the
depths of depression the very first day we met. Your love is the reason I
am still alive today. You have a romantic heart, which is evidenced in
everything you do for me, including what is transpiring here today. God
has once again won a victory over hatred, because of the power of love, and
you and I stand here today as evidence of that victory. God has truly
blessed me since meeting you, with happiness in my life, peacefulness in my
thoughts, and the never ending love a man I could only dream about, such a
short time ago. Today I am here to pledge my undying love for you, and my
commitment to nurture that love throughout all eternity. I love you Jason.
You are my best friend, my extraordinary lover, my life, and my hope. You
are my one and only, Jason."

The Reverend White then offered a short prayer for our continued
commitment as a couple, before continuing, "Don and Jason have picked a
scripture for today's ceremony, and Don will now read to you from I
Corinthians, chapter 13." Jason and I turned to face the congregation.

Don:
"Before I begin the scripture, I have to tell you all how much
Jason and I appreciate you sharing this day with us. Jason and I truly
believe in the power of love. We have both seen it work miracles in our
lives. Because we are blessed by the presence of the media today, Jason
and I want to extend a plea to all those who will watch and listen to our
ceremony. Focus on love in your lives so together we can end all the pain
and suffering throughout the world. Love conquers differences of any
nature, defeats powers that are evil, and calms even the most troubled
soul. Love is God's most awesome gift to us and he expects us to use it as
such. Jason says that I am a philosopher, and maybe that's true. So I
will ask you now too please listen and reflect on these words about love,
because they contain a power so perfect, that it can make a difference in
our world." Jason took my hand as I began,

"And now I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the
tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding
gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom
all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the
poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain
nothing."

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not
boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is
not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, and it ALWAYS perseveres."

"Love never ever fails.  But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it
will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when
perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. And now these three things
will remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE!!"

Jason and I turned back to face the Reverend White, and he began, "Jason,
do you take Don as your life long partner, committing to him you life and
your love, whether you both are rich or poor, sick or well, accepting each
others imperfections as part of Gods gifts to each of you, until it is time
for you to leave this earth and journey on together throughout eternity?''
Jason replied, emphatically, "I DO!!" The Reverend White continued, "Don,
do you take Jason as your life long partner, committing to him you life and
your love, whether you both are rich or poor, sick or well, accepting each
others imperfections as part of Gods gifts to each of you, until it is time
for you to leave this earth and journey on together throughout eternity?''
I responded, exuberantly, "I DO!!" Then Paul and Tom each handed us our
rings and we quietly slipped them on each other's ring fingers as the
minister told how the rings symbolized the never ending circle of love and
friendship that would fill our lives. The Reverend White continued, "By
God's command, your friends and family present today are charged with
helping to nurture your commitment. What God has witnessed here today, let
no man dare interfere with. Ok you two, lets see a kiss to seal your
covenant to each other." Jason pulled me into a heartfelt, mind-altering
kiss. "Ladies and gentleman, join me in congratulating Jason and Don on
their new life together." The congregation was immediately on their feet,
and began applauding as Jason and I turned to face them, holding hands and
smiling brightly. The orchestra began playing Mendelssohn's, "Wedding
March," as Jason and I briskly walked up the aisle to the back of the
auditorium, followed by Tom and Paul, and then Robert and Mike.

Once we entered the foyer, I pulled Jason into another kiss. Our tongues
brushed against each other brightly. When we broke from the kiss, I looked
into Jason's perfect eyes and smiled, "How did you ever get Sarah and Elton
to come here?" Jason giggled, "I have my ways babe. That is a story I'll
save for another time. This is our special day, so it has to be full of
surprises for you." I looked over at Tom and Paul and said, "How did you
ever keep this a secret Paul?" Paul laughed, "It was easy, Tom and Jason
didn't tell me what was going on till late last night. They figured I
could keep quiet for a couple of hours today." We all laughed heartily.
Soon many others joined Jason and me as the congregation began leaving the
auditorium. Jason and I thanked every one that stopped along the way.
Finally Elton and Sarah came up to us and congratulated Jason and I, and
wished us both all the best in our life ahead. They both had other
engagements to keep so they could not stay for the reception that was to
follow. After taking pictures, Jason and I climbed into the limousine that
waited for us, along with the rest of the wedding party, and we sped off to
the reception hall.

The reception was held at an upscale club in our community. Jason and I
originally had planned a simple meal, but with Tom and Paul, along with
Laura and Pam, we were outvoted. The hall was beautifully decorated with
Christmas trees of every size and shape, lit with thousands of tiny lights
of every conceivable color and pattern one could imagine. Jason and I had
decided that the press would not be allowed at the reception, and Mike was
able to convince several of his FBI mates to stand guard so our wishes were
honored. The hall was filled with elegant ice sculptures and champagne
fountains. There were two tables set up with gigantic shrimp trees,
watermelon baskets, fresh strawberry trees, several different vegetable and
seafood dips, and a variety of cut fresh vegetable trays. Jason and I
together went from table to table visiting with friends and family as they
munched on the pre-meal snacks. The stage was staffed with a band that
played appropriate dinner music. The buffet table was finally set up, and
was filled with various meats, vegetables, potatoes, and a variety of
breads. At the end of the buffet table stood a huge steamship round of
beef, which was carved to the guests liking. Jason and I were first in
line, of course, and enjoyed picking food out and putting it on the others
plate. Once the majority of the crowd had finished eating, Tom and Paul
motioned for the wait staff to serve everyone a glass of champagne. Paul,
Tom, and Chris took center stage and began the festivities for the evening.

Tom took the microphone, and began, "Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your
attention. I would like to propose a toast." The guests immediately took
their seats and Tom continued, "Jason and Don. What more could I say than
I love you both so very much. You are my best friends. I hope for you a
long, happy, and loving life. Paul and I look to you for our constant
inspiration in how we face the world each day. You are the perfect couple.
Here's to a life filled with fun times, great friends, and all the worlds
bounties." We all took a sip of champagne, and then Paul took the
microphone, and began, "You know I'll never get through this without
crying. Jason and Don, I love you both so much. You deserve only the best
things in life. You both give so much to me and Tom, guiding and directing
us so we make good decisions in our lives. We wouldn't be the successful
couple we are if it wasn't for your friendship." Paul stopped to wipe away
his tears, then continued, "Here's to my best friends, Don and Jason.
Health, happiness, and lots of good sex!" The crowd all started laughing,
even my mother, as they took another sip of champagne. Then Chris took the
microphone, and began, "Don and Jason. You guys are amazing. You give me
hope for a better world for my kids. Jason, you are the luckiest guy I
know, cause you snagged the most thoughtful man on the planet. Don, you
are also the luckiest guy I know, cause my girl says you snagged the best
looking guy in the state. Seriously though, my friend, Jason is a good
man, and he makes you smile. What more could you want. Here's to Jason
and Don. Keep making each other smile, and you'll have a life filled with
riches beyond you fondest dreams."

Everyone finished their champagne, and then Chris began again, "Can I have
Jason and Don here on the dance floor? Jason and I moved to the dance
floor, and then the lights went dim until only a spotlight shown on Chris'
face, and he continued, "So Don, did you like Jason's little surprise today
at the church?" I stated, "You know I did. Sarah Brightman and Elton John
on the same stage. What's not to like?" Chris continued, "Well, Don,
Jason has one more little surprise for you tonight, other than when he gets
you in bed later." The guests all laughed heartily, then Chris continued,
"Don, there is someone here tonight who is quite anxious to meet you." A
familiar beat began as the spotlight moved to the entrance of the hall, and
a voice began to speak, "I hear my biggest fan got himself hitched today."
Jason smiled, as I looked in his eyes and spoke, "Jason, it can't be, she
is in Europe touring." Jason continued to smile, as the voice once again
pervaded the hall. "Don, it can be. Jason and your friends can be quite
convincing, and with my daughter in on the plan, how could I refuse. The
spotlight widened as the music engulfed the hall and Cher began to sing as
she worked her way towards Jason and I. "Believe" resounded from the
speakers as Cher, Jason, and I began to dance to the beat of my favorite
song. Following "Believe," Cher performed a twenty minute mix of many of
her greatest hits while our guests joined us and danced their asses of to
the performer that any age group could identify with. After the set Cher
talked quietly with Jason and I, and explained how Jason, Tom, Paul, Chris,
Robert, and Mike had convinced her to come. It seems Mike had an in with
Chastity, and after relaying the story of Jason and I to her, along with a
letter writing campaign from my friends, she convinced Cher to make the
trip. Cher stayed for about another hour and talked with various guests,
enjoying the chance to mingle with fans that weren't going bonkers, before
leaving to return to her tour.

I must have thanked Jason and the guys a thousand times that night, before
the crowd finally started to thin, as people began to journey home.
Eventually, only Jason and our closest friends remained, and we decided
that it would be time for us to escape to our secret destination. Paul
came up and hugged us both, "So where ya goin' tonight?" Jason and I both
giggled, "We'll never tell." Paul gave us the puppy dog look and we all
started laughing. Jason and I started to say our good-byes to the guys,
making sure to hug them all and express our thanks for a wonderful wedding
day. The limo pulled around to the hall entrance and Jason and I made a
quick exit, while Mike made sure that the reporters, along with Paul and
Tom, could not follow us. This was one night we wanted to be alone. The
limo proceeded to take us downtown to the most expensive hotel in the area,
where we departed from the vehicle and quickly entered the tall building.
Jason swiftly collected the room key, and then we briskly walked to the
elevator, and rode it to the top floor. Exiting the elevator, we walked to
our room at the end of the hall. As I reached for the door Jason stated,
"Wait Don. I'm not breaking tradition." Jason scooped me up in his arms,
and carried me into the honeymoon suite, while I planted kisses all over
his face. Jason kicked the door closed, and then carried me over to the
heart shaped bed, where he gently put me down onto the beds soft surface.
I looked up into Jason's eyes, and smiled, "I love you husband." Jason
leaned down and kissed me briefly, then whispered, "I love you too,
husband." I smiled at Jason once again and softly cooed, "Thank you for a
wonderful wedding Jason. I knew it would be perfect, but you made it
divine." Jason leaned in and kissed me again, then took my hands and
pulled me up from the bed. I looked deep within his alluring eyes, and he
did the same with me. Words didn't have to be spoken as we slowly began
undressing each other. I looked at my god like husband as though I had
never seen him before. He was still the most beautiful man on earth.
Touching his broad shoulders and well-defined chest still sent shivers of
passion throughout my being. When Jason caressed my back and then played
with my nipples, I still gasped in ecstasy, as though it were the first
time. Jason did the same as I caressed him, as his eyes filled with lust
and he vocalized his pleasure with soft moaning sounds.

I slowly removed Jason's pants and let them slip to the floor. Once he
stepped out of them, he performed the same action on me. We stood facing
each other, dressed only in our boxers as I whispered, "Make love to me
Jason. I want my husband inside me." Jason picked me up in his arms
again, and carefully crawled onto the heart shaped bed placing me on my
back in the center. Jason crawled on top of me and we began passionately
kissing, mixing saliva and our tongues together. Jason slowly ground his
hard cock against mine, through the cotton material of our briefs, while we
kissed. Jason's hands worked down to my boxers and he slowly removed them,
never breaking from our kiss. I pushed Jason's boxers over his beautiful
bubble butt, and then used my feet to push them from his body. As Jason
continued to kiss me, I spread my legs wide and pulled them back, opening
up my ass for him. Jason cock slid across my anal opening, and I moaned,
"Oh Jason, I love you." Jason whispered in my ear, "I love you too Don."
We continued to kiss as Jason's precum began to lubricate my ass. Jason
and I moaned quietly to each other, as we both understood this time was
going to be slow and quiet, since there was always time for fast and
furious later. Jason whispered in my ear, ''Are you ready husband?" I
nodded, "Yes" as Jason pushed his huge mushroom head through my anal
opening. I moaned, "Oh Jason, love me babe." Jason began a slow rhythmic
in and out motion, causing me to gasp and moan each time his cock crossed
my prostrate. Jason whispered, "Oh Don, you are making me feel so good. I
love you my sweet prince." Jason continued the synchronized movement as I
continued to coo, ''Oh yes, Jason. Yes, that feels so good. Oh take me
babe. I am yours always. Oh Jason, yes." Jason cooed back, "Oh Don. Oh
babe, I love you. Oh yes, yes. I love being inside you." Jason took my
drooling cock into his hands and began to slowly pump the length of it. I
moaned, "Oh Jason, I'm so close. Please cum with me." Jason groaned, "I'm
ready to cum Don. Cum with me babe." I began to explode as cum flew
through the air, landing far behind my head at first and then globs plopped
on my chest and stomach. I could feel Jason's cock launching his seed deep
inside me. We were both breathing hard as we once again engaged in a
passionate kiss. Several minutes later we broke apart, and looking into
each other's eyes, once again professed our love for one another.

Jason and I made love several more times that night, before drifting off to
sleep around 5am. We woke shortly after noon and quickly showered, and
then left the hotel. Jason had parked his car in the garage the previous
day, so we threw out suitcases in the trunk and drove back to our home.
Jason and I entered the apartment to find Tom and Paul intertwined on the
couch, Robert and Mike asleep on the bed, and Brandon snoozing by the hot
tub, while Chris was enjoying the bubbles. I joked, "Did the boys all
drive you out here last night Chris?" Chris laughed, "Actually Paul, Tom,
and I stayed up most of the night talking. But Robert and Mike were
insatiable, and I swear I heard one of them hollering 'fuck me with your
toe' half the night." Jason and I burst out laughing, "Robert!!!!" Chris
asked, "You guys have time for some brunch before the airport?" Jason and
I both nodded "Yes," and then left the patio so Chris could dress. We
quietly slipped from the apartment, and walked to Paul's cafe for some
omelets and coffee. Chris was deep in thought, and Jason asked, "What's up
Chris?" Chris responded, ''Just thinking. I really want to thank you both
for letting me share in so much with you over the last few months. I
finally feel like I belong here, and have made some good friends. Even my
girl has a better sense of belonging since meeting you guys. She, Pam, and
Laura have really hit it off. You two really do work miracles on everyone
around you." Jason and I smiled at each other, then happily stated,
"Thanks Chris. We're both glad to have you in our lives too." We finished
eating and bantered lightly while sipping on coffee, before sauntering back
to the apartment.

When we returned we found the other guys showered and dressed. Paul
giggled, ''Hey Don, did Jason get ya pregnant last night?" We all laughed
lightly, as I responded, ''Eight times Paul, I think that breaks your
record." The guys all cracked up laughing. Jason and I gathered up our
suitcases, and packed a few more items for our honeymoon, a Caribbean
cruise that we were going on. Jill and my mom showed up a few minutes
later along with Laura, Pam, and Chris' girlfriend. We all piled into
various cars and drove out to the airport. Jason and I checked our luggage
with the attendant, and then we all walked into the waiting area. As time
drew near for our departure, Jason and I made the rounds, kissing and
hugging each member of our group. Finally we came to Paul and Tom and we
all had tears in our eyes as we hugged goodbye. I spoke quietly, "Paul and
Tom, this day wouldn't have happened without you both. Do you remember how
you two insisted I go to the picnic?" Paul giggled, then Jason continued,
"You two are the reason Don and I met. Remember that, cause you are both
the miracle workers in our lives." Jason and I waved to everyone and
remarked, "Be good y'all. We'll see ya in two weeks." Jason and I stepped
up to the attendant, gave her our tickets, and then went to board the
plane. We could see our friends and family waving from our window in the
plane, so we waved back to them. The engines started to roar, and soon the
plane was sailing down the runway. Jason and I smiled at each other and
then leaned back to relax as the plane climbed into the air. I whispered,
"I love you Jason. Jason whispered, "Love ya too my sweet prince." Jason
and I looked deep into each other's eyes, seeing the love in each other's
hearts, as we soared off to our next adventure.

				  THE END

This concludes Jason--A Love Story. Once again I thank you all for reading
my story. I also need to thank the many readers who emailed me, keeping me
motivated to finish the adventure. Now, to all those who are thinking,
this chapter is a bit far fetched, I can only say, return to chapter one
and re-read the introduction. This has been my fantasy love story. Yes,
the characters in it are real people in my life, and yes, many of the
topics and issues raised happened to me, or are issues I have been
concerned with that affect the gay community at large. However, this has
been, as I said it would be, an epic love story. So please no nasty emails
about the wedding. Jason and Don's adventure was one filled with love and
good friends. These are the two most important ingredients in a happy
existence as far as I am concerned. Money and all the rest can only be
icing on the cake. I have tried to stress the importance of love in ones
life throughout the story because I am passionate about things I believe
in. I do believe that love can conquer and win any battle. It may happen
by twists and turns, and it may take years to win, but eventually love does
persevere. That's the message behind the final chapter, in its "Dynasty"
like scenario. I had a blast writing this chapter, because I just let my
imagination run free, and included all my favorite dreams into one chapter.
What's next? I have several ideas brewing for another story, and possibly
"Jason"--Book 2, the adventure continues. But school has to take
prescience for now, so we'll see what happens. Again thanks for reading,
and wish me luck. I am going to print and bind a copy of "Jason" and give
it to the real Jason for Christmas. I am hoping he will enjoy it as much
as many of you have. Once again, send your thoughts and concerns to
donnrs2000@mindspring.com.

Peace, hugs, happiness, and most of all, much Love to you all, Don and
Brandon the Dog.
