Subject: MEGA LOTTERY 5   BEGINNINGS

Sorry for the long delay but here is Chapter #5

We both slept like logs woke up refreshed and wondering what we would do
are first full day together.

We showered and that took up quite a bit of time, ordered breakfast from
room service, went out on the of the room and laid out in the sun for a bit
when the phone rang.  I answered and was pleased that it was the guys in
the travel van and told John who it was and put the call on speaker phone
so he could be part of the call.    He introduced himself, stating he had
never taken a job before not knowing who he was working for and for how
much.  I explained that I had must won the Mega Lottery and my name was Joe
and my partners name was John.  He told us his name was Russ, his older son
was Brian and the younger was Cody.  We explained that we wanted to tour
the a lot of the country and find the perfect place to build a home, find a
contractor, and do more touring while the home was being built with trips
back and forth to check on the construction, figuring it might take up to
three to five years.  We also explained as they would be living in the tour
van with us,  We would pay all expenses, food clothing, medical insurance
etc. and give him and his son Brian each $1000.00 a week.

We also wanted to pay Cody each week for helping out so he felt he was part
of the family so We told him to start We would give him  $100.00 a week for
Cody he could pay him what he felt was fair and put the rest in a savings
account for his education.  We asked when he was leaving Nashville, he
laughed and said that they had left last night, was he wanted to be off the
road early as today was Cody?s 6th birthday.   He felt he would be it the
Hotel in about 4 hours.  I asked him to take his phone off speaker.  He did
and asked why,  I was looking at John, and nodded my head.  John told him
not to stop to come right to the Hotel and he wanted to make a little
surprise Birthday party for Cody if that was OK with him.  He said he was
amazed we would do that, John said he wanted Cody to think of him as a new
older brother and he wanted to do it, he asked for clothing sizes and likes
and dislikes and said he would have a nice surprise for Cody when he got
here.  Russ said that he was speechless and he was excited about meeting us
and the new job, he also filled us in that Cody had been asking where they
were going and why and said if it was OK he would tell him to meet Uncle
Joe and his new older brother John.  As I told it was fine I was not sure
he heard me as John yelled YES.  We talked a bit more and hung up.

I turned to John and said what are we going to do till the get here.  He
asked if it was Ok to spend some money, I said not more than a million and
laughed.  He picked up the phone and called the front desk and told the
clerk he wanted the Hotel manager, chef, and events planner here in the
room as soon as possible and was informed they would all be here in ten
minutes.  John when jumped up and hugged me and said we are going to have a
great Birthday party for Cody you wait and see.   In five minutes their was
a knock at the door we opened it and the three from the Hotel were already
here.  John asked them all to sit and offered them coffee which they all
took.  We were all introduced around the group and then John went on to
explain, his little brother was going to arrive in 4 hours and he wanted to
have a surprise birthday party for him, he also asked  if the suite across
the hall was open  as we needed it for the rest of the three family members
coming.  He was told it was open and it was no problem.  He turned to the
chef and told him we wanted a cake that any 6 yr old would die for and a
meal he would think of for days and to make it for 15 to 20 people as every
one helping was invited to the party.

His last person was the events planner he ask him to arrange for
decorations, a clown to entertain, and one to tell stories, he also wanted
him to get Cody several sets of clothing and gave him his sizes.  At that
point the guy interrupted and said he had a 6 yr old son and should he also
get him some toys and stuff to which we both said Yes and get him the best
and to invite his son to the party and make sure he got some stuff for him
to.  They all seemed excited as we were and left.  As they walked out of
the room I said spare no expense they all smiled and left.

4 hours later the room was decorated and a 3 foot high cake has a place of
honor six layers high and Happy Birthday Cody written all across the sides
with 6 foot high candles on the top it.  I had to laugh and said I bet he
is not much bigger than the cake.  On the floor were 30 or more gifts all
wrapped with Cody?s name on them and a smaller pile for the other guests.
It seems the chef and the manager also had small boys and had called John
to see if they could come also.  We waited about twenty minutes and got a
call that the tour van was being parked in the garage and the guys were in
the elevator on the way up.  John and I went out into the hall and waited.
Three of the nicest looking family members came out of the elevator and
stopped.  John knelt down and opened his arms and said is that my new
little brother Cody come and give me a hug.  Little Cody looked at his
brother and Dad and ran to John and hugged him.   John stood up and said
boy am I sure glad to meet you little brother. Cody kissed him on the cheek
and said me too Big Brother.  We all smiled and I said let me show you into
your room and opened the door across the hall.  Told them to drop they
stuff and wash up and come across the hall to our room as we had ordered
dinner for all of us.  Cody hugged John tighter and said I am not dirty and
I do not want to get down off my new brother yet.  So John and I sat down
and waited for Russ and Brian to wash up a bit and then we went across the
hall.  Just as we were to enter John sat Cody down and asked if he would do
him a favor, Cody said sure what, John told him he had left his wallet in
the chair and could he get it.  Cody ran back into the room and we opened
the door the to your room and we all went in leaving the door open, as Cody
ran into the room we all said Happy Birthday. The poor little guy just
stopped and looked around till he saw the cake, ran over to it and said Dad
this cake is as big as I am I will never be able to eat it all.   He turned
around and asked his Dad how, did the Hotel know it was his Birthday.  His
Father told him his new brother John and his Uncle Joe had done it we both
got hugs and kisses.  The two clowns entertained the young kids with
balloons and stories and magic tricks.  The four little ones all got along
like old friends.  The rest of us eat and we all got to know each other it
was a great party.  Cody was so proud when he was able to give the other
kids each several presents.  Every time he opened one of his gifts he ran
and hugged and kissed his Dad his brothers Brian and John and Uncle Joe.
When he opened his last gift he looked funny and said this is from everyone
her at the hotel and opened it and found a 6 inch color TV and Radio that
could be plugged into the van and be used any where.  He ran around and
hugged every one even the clowns.  The party broke up and Cody, Brian and
Russ went across the hall.  John and I told the Hotel staff to clean up
tomorrow and everyone left us alone.  We both looked at each other locked
the door and headed for the bedroom.  We took a quick shower and went to
bed  hugged each other and fell to sleep.
