Roadrunner (Part 3)
By Rim4you

Chapter One

Adam tossed me the keys to his corvette. I slid behind the wheel, giddy
with anticipation at the prospect of driving this mean machine.

"She's all yours, babe!" Adam exclaimed, as he hopped into the
passanger's seat.

When Adam called me "babe," a feeling so warm and comforting swept over
me. Nobody had ever called me "babe" before. I was always Chip, Chipper
or Runner to those who knew me well. I turned towards him with a look
of tenderness in my eyes. This guy was turning me inside out and I
couldn't explain it, even to myself!

Adam leaned back in his seat and raised his hands behind his head,
clasping his hands together.

I couldn't resist. This man's masculinity was drawing me towards him
like a magnet. I leaned over and buried my face into his armpit,
chewing gently.

"Ah Runner! Babe!" Adam gasped, as I made contanct, "Is this what
going over the edge means?"

"It's just the tip of the iceberg!" I moaned. "The things I wanna do to
and with you ..."

"Runner!" Adam continued to gasp, almost squirming in his seat, "will
you humble this motorcycle cop before you?"

"Yes!" I groaned, swirling my tongue in his musky, sweaty pit. "If
that's what you want."

"Please, Runner!" Adam pleaded. "Take me plunging over the edge with
you!"

As I pulled my face away from his armpit, Adam brought his lips down to
meet mine and again we kissed. Hotly and passionately. We were like
two teenagers in lustful heat, yet underlying our urges was a deep sense
of tenderness. I knew that whatever sexual heights I would experience
with this man, would be very different in that my emotions were coming
into play and that perhaps those emotions would recreate in a new light,
the many dark urges I desired.

"Runner! Runner!" Adam sighed, running his fingers through my long,
light brown hair, "I know we only just met each other a couuple of hours
ago but it's as though I've known you for a long time!"

"You've know me for the past six years, Adam." I whispered. "Only then
I was a phantom that haunted you each time you rode past the look-out at
the Pass. Now, I've made my presense known. I hope you're not
disappointed."

Adam drew me practically on top of him. His muscular arms encircled me
and caressed me. His kiss was deep, fiery yet tender. He ran his hand
over the mounds of my butt and I moaned, softly.

"Now ask me again, Babe, if I'm disappointed!" Adam chuckled, as we
broke our kiss and I leaned back in the driver's seat.

"I know that I'm not, Adam."

"Neither am I, Runner," Adam responded, squeezing my thigh within his
powerful grip. "Now lets go get something to eat. All this foreplay is
making me mighty hungry!"

"Foreplay, huh?" I laughed. "Just wait till we take the plundge over
the edge!"

Chapter Two

"Hi Adam! Who's your friend?"

We were greeted by a handsome young man with sparkling green eyes and an
infectious smile. He was our waiter.

"Joey!" Adam bellowed. "I didn't know you were working tonight! Joey,
this is Runner. Runner, this is Joey. We practically grew up together,
living next door to each other!"

"Nice to meet you, Joey!" I said, extending my hand.

"The pleasure's all mine, Runner!" Joey responded warmly, shaking my
hand with a firm grip. "Yeah! I grew up with this ogre until he ran
off to become a bad, butch Marine!" Joey laughed.

Leading us to our table, Joey kept rambling on. Adam looked at me and
smiled and whispered to me, "Joey's a real talker and he's got a heart
of gold."

"What? Did I miss something?" Joey grinned, as Adam and I slid into
the booth Joey led us to.

"I was telling Runner that you're a pain in the ass, Joey!" Adam
laughed.

"You got that right, Adam," Joey responded with a big smile, then added,
a little sarcastically, "but some guys like a little pain! Ain't that
right, Runner?"

I looked up at Joey and busted out laughing. "You're okay, Joey! I
like your sense of humor and your pun on words."

"Well," Joey went on, as he placed our menus before us, "I wouldn't
normally be working on a Friday night. Date night you know. But
anyway, Godzilla begged and pleaded with me to swap shifts with her.
Said she had a real hot date with some Marine stud. At first I thought
it was you, Adam!"

Joey playfully slapped Adam on the back. Adam just shook his head and
chuckled.

"Nah! I thought," Joey continued. "Adam's got more sense than that."

Then looking at me, Joey smiled approvingly.

"And besides, all the Mary Kaye products in the world couldn't help
Godzilla!"

"Now be nice, Joey!" Adam admonished.

"Oh I am, Adam. I mean no harm. But I did tell Godzilla that if she
couldn't satisfy her Marine to just give him my number!"

We all busted out laughing.

"Is there a point to all of this, Joey?" Adam laughed.

"No! None at all. But you did ask why I was working tonight! So where
ya from, Runner? Surely not from around here or I would have noticed
you before."

"Sacramento." I replied.

"So what brings you up here?"

"I was just cruising on my bike when Adam happened to come along." I
smiled at Adam.

"Yep!" Joey quirked. "And when Adam just happens to come along, he
swoops in for the kill! It's gotta be the uniform. So intimidating!"

"Really?" Adam cracked up laughing. "I could've sworn it was my
boots!"

Joey looked down at Adam's boots.

"Well," Joey sighed, "they sure could use a bootblack job pretty soon!"
patting me on the shoulder.

"Hmmmmm! I'll have to take that into consideration, Joey."

"Joey?" Adam asked.

"Yes."

"Can we order now?"

"Oh that!" Joey chirped. "I've already taken care of that when I saw
your car pull up. Why else would you come in here besides for the Prime
Rib? And to chat with me, of course!"

"Did you stop to consider that maybe Runner might want something else,
Joey?"

"Sorry," Joey apologized. "Is Prime Rib okay with you, Runner?"

"No need to apologize, Joey, and Prime Rib sounds swell."

"So why the menus, Joey?" Adam asked.

"Protocol, Adam. Mere formality! It's part of the job you know!"

Adam and I laughed at Joey's antics. He was so friendly and outgoing.
Joey slid into the booth alongside of me.

"Did I tell you about Kyle? Oh, sorry, Runner. Kyle is my older
brother, but then again so is Adam seeing how we grew up together."

"Shouldn't you be standing, Joey?" I grinned, winking at Adam. "You
know. Protocol?"

I patted Joey on his thigh. Joey winked at me and as he slid out of the
booth, he dropped his hand between my legs and gave me a light squeeze.

"No hanky-panky there boys!" Adam whispered, "or I'm gonna have to
arrest you."

"What's the charge?" Joey laughed, standing up.

"Disturbing the peace." Adam said, matter of factly.

"Who's piece? Mine or his?" Joey rolled over in stitches with a hearty
laugh. "Will you frisk me first, Officer?"

"Joey! Joey!" Adam shook his head from side to side.

At about that time the bread and salads arrived at our table.

"Bon appetit!" Joey said, as he turned to leave us.

"Joey!" Adam called out.

"Huh? Complaints to the chef already, Adam? You haven't even gotten to
the main course yet!" Joey said, pointing to me.

I practically sprawled out in the booth laughing so hard.

"He's a trip, Adam! I like your kid brother!"

"I told you he was a pain in the ass!"

"Wanna sample?" Joey giggled, turning his backside towards Adam and I.
I had to admit to myself that Joey had, what seemed to be, a nice
looking bubble butt encased in his pants.

"Seriously, Joey. Today is Runner's birthday. Would you bring us a
bottle of Merlot, please?"

Joey spun around.

"Why didn't you say so from the jump street, Adam? Happy Birthday, Runner!
A bottle of Merlot, coming up! And the second bottle is on me, guys!"

"Literally speaking?" I asked, trying hard to choke back my laughter.

"Oh, you're catching on real good, Runner! But that's up to you and
Adam!"

"But wouldn't that be considered incest?" I whispered.

"The family way is the way to play!" Joey whispered back.

"I'm not believing this!" Adam stammered, blushing and smiling at the
same time.

"Runner, did I ever tell you about the time me, Kyle and ..."

"Joey!"

"Yes, Adam?"

"The wine, little brother?"

"Oh! I'm sorry! Yeah! The wine!"

The meal was excellent. Adam's company was delightful and Joey's
entertainment was hysterical. The evening was progressing towards a
Happy Birthday indeed!

"So," Joey inquired, "how long are you going to be in the Tahoe area,
Runner?" as Adam and I prepared to leave.

"A couple of days," Adam answered, lookng into my eyes.

"Cool!" Joey responded.

"There's still the matter of this bottle of wine on you," I mentioned,
wrapping my hand around the neck of the bottle, clasping Adam's hand,
also around the bottle.

"Is this an invitation?" Joey asked.

"It's Runner's birthday." Adam responded, gazing into my eyes, "it's up
to him. Whatever he wants."

"Runner?" Joey asked, looking at me.

"It'd be a swell birthday having you and Adam together, you guys
practically being brothers and all." I whispered.

"That's fine by me." Adam responded. "If that's what you want, Runner.
It's been awhile since I've played with my kid brother here."

"As long as I'm not intruding," Joey said.

"Swing by the house around eleven-thirty. You should be off around then,
Joey?" Adam asked.

"Okay," Joey responded. "You sure, Runner?"

"Yeah, Joey. I wanna take you and Adam over the edge with me."

"I like it kinky and raunchy!" Joey whispered in my ear, as he walked
us to the front door of the restaurant.

"Does Adam like it that way too, Joey?" I asked, cornering Joey
privately as Adam paid the cashier our bill.

"I think you and I could persuade him." Joey answered. "Especially
you, Runner!"

Chapter Three

After dinner, Adam and I took a walk along the banks of Lake Tahoe. The
stars were twinkling above and the silence was broken only by the waves
gently crashing on the shoreline. Adam and I were alone in the still
darkness.

"Runner!" Adam whispered, pulling me towards him and kissing me deeply.
"I think I'm falling in love with you!"

"I think the feeling is mutual, Adam!" I sighed. "I wanna be with
you."

"And so do I," Adam murmerred between kisses.

"But Joey!" I uttered a groan, "I ... we told him tonight ..."

"Don't you worry about my little adopted brother, okay?"

"I don't want to hurt his feelings, Adam. I really do like him. Maybe
it was the beer and the wine talking. I just don't want Joey to think
that I'm ..."

"Shhhhh! Babe! Don't you fret. Joey will understand. Tomorrow night
perhaps? He's my kid brother and I wouldn't hurt him for the world, nor
you either, Runner."

"But it's just ..." I offered a protest.

"You let me talk to Joey, okay? But I would like to watch you and Joey
going over the edge together. Is that okay?"

"Yes." I whispered.

Adam, the mororcycle cop, swept me into his powerful arms and kissed me
passionately.

"Oh Runner! I can't explain it but I love you!"

"I love you too, Adam!" I exclaimed. "I think my Uncle Bill wants us
to be together."

"I think he wants that too, Runner, but most of all I want you!"

"Oh Adam! Adam!" my voice choked with emotion.

"I love you, Runner!"

"I love you too, Adam!"

Chapter Four

When Adam and I returned to the car, Adam picked up his cell phone and
called Joey.

"You're not upset, little brother?" Adam asked.

"Here," Adam handed me the phone, "Joey wants to talk to you."

"Hello," I said, a little cautiously.

"Runner! Dude!" Joey laughed into the receiver. "It's okay. Honest!
You will let me sniff around your ass soon, I hope?"

"Definitely! That's a promise, Joey!"

"Great!" Joey responded, "I know there's a story behind you and Adam
somewhere."

"Yes, there is, Joey!"

"My brother's a good man, Runner."

"I know he is, Joey."

"Don't hurt him, Runner. I've seen him get brushed off too many times
and the pain in his eyes. I love him and don't wanna ever see him hurt
again."

"I won't hurt him, Joey, I promise."

"I'll beat you to a pulp if you ever do!"

"It will never come to that, Joey, unless ..."

"Unless what, Runner?"

"Unless you wanna paddle my ass?"

"Kinky!" Joey whistled.

"Tomorrow then?"

"You're on, brother!"

Tomorrow would be another day, Tonight, however, it would be Adam and
I.
