Chapter 8

names and places have been changed.


All that I told Jack was that I had a big surprise for him in town. He had
to go with me back into town to get it. As we were going out the door, I
looked at Sam and gave him a big wink. He started grinning from ear to ear.

When we pulled into the motel, Jack grinned and said, "I think I am going
to like your surprise!" rubbing his crotch.

"Jack, You are nothing but a big over-sexed baboon but I love you
anyway. The surprise I have for you has nothing to do with that growing
thing between your legs. I sorta wish that it were. You will just have to
wait until tonight."

We arrived at the door and I wrapped softly. "Martin, I would like for you
to meet Jack. Jack this is Martin." Martin could not hold it any longer and
burst into tears. Adam stepped forward and took him in his arms. Jack was
at a complete loss.

Finally, Martin was able to talk. "I am so sorry Jack, but I didn't mean to
be so rude. We are cousins. Your father and my mother were brother and
sister. I have waited a lifetime for this meeting and finally it is here!"

"You have to be kidding! Aren't you?" Asked Jack.

Martin was unable to talk but just nodded his head. Adam spoke up, "No,
Jack, he is not kidding. He is your cousin." Jack stepped forward and took
Martin in his arms and held him close. All three were shedding tears of
joy.

"I never want this moment to end. This is the greatest day of my life."
whispered Martin.

"We are family and we will always be family. Nothing will ever separate us
now!" expressed Jack. "All I want to do is hold you. Will you be the
brother I never had?" Again Martin just shook his hear yes.

"Adam, how did you ever find Martin."

"Jack, I didn't. He found us. He came to the house and met Sam. Sam brought
him here to the motel and told me. He sat up the meeting with Martin and
me." responded Adam. "Martin and Jack, do you want some time together. I
can go and get some pizzas, if you would like?"

"Adam, I wish you would stay. You are the one who really made all of this
possible. You wouldn't let me give up and because of your positive
attitude, I have a new life. Thank You!" and gave Adam a big hug and kiss.

"Martin, I see he has already indoctrinated you. Adam is the most caring
and loving guy I have ever met. He is always giving of himself and wants
nothing back in return except a Thank you, a hug, and a kiss. You will
learn to love him as much as I do. He is the best! Love you big guy."
expounded Jack.

"I have known him for only a very short time and I feel like I have known
him all my life. I agree he is the best! I love him already."

"Jack, why don't you call Beth and tell her not to start dinner. We can
stop by and get some pizzas on the way home. I know you two have a lot of
catching up to do! If you are ready, I say Let's do it!"

Both Jack and Martin agreed. They walked out to the van arm in arm. Adam
took the suitcase and box of memorabilia.

The van had hardly come to a complete stop when Sam was there hugging
Adam. "You did it, man! You did it, man! I have been praying all day,
hoping that you could perform a miracle." Jack and Martin got out of the
van still arm in arm.

When they entered the house, Jack started yelling, "Grandpa! Grandpa! I
want you to meet Martin, my cousin. He is my dad's sister's son. I am so
happy!" Jack started crying again along with Martin, Adam and Sam. Grandpa,
too had tears in his eyes.

The rest of the evening was spent with Jack and Martin getting to know each
other. Martin told his story again. This time he had pictures and the
family history. Everyone was in the living room enjoying this cheerful
occasion..

Grandpa finally said, "I don't think anyone will sleep tonight. I think I
will go soak in the hot tub for awhile. Maybe that will relax me enough, so
maybe I can sleep. Anyone care to join me?" We all agreed that this sound
like a good plan.

"Martin, are you going to join us?" Adam asked.

"No, I don't think so. I don't have a swim suit." replied Martin.

"Oh, we forgot to tell you, No suits allowed in the tub. Only your birthday
suit!" Adam replied.

"Well, in that case what are we waiting for?" Martin said.

We all went to the hot tub. Sam started removing Grandpa's clothes and
helped him into the tub. We were all undressing. Martin did not hesitate
one bit. "Are you ok with going nude?" asked Jack.

"I have seen nude men before, you must remember I served time in the state
prison. You see every thing in there and besides I enjoy seeing a good
looking stud now and then." Martin acknowledged as he was lowering his
pants.

"You are in for one big treat tonight, then." said Grandpa. "Hurry up guys!
I am ready for the strip show. You will have to earns your tips tonight. No
free handout." laughed Grandpa. " Get into a chorus line and give me a
show!" The four of us were all nude by now and we put our arms around each
other's shoulder. Adam started singing, and we all did the can-can. That is
until we had to stop from laughing so hard. Grandpa couldn't contain
himself. He was clapping and hooting for all he was worth.

"My-oh-My! You sure can tell you two are cousins. You are some kind of eye
candy. I thought I was lucky to have one big monster to play with, but
two. I just died and went to heaven." exclaimed Adam.

"Oh, I don't know maybe you have zilch. Then again, you might get lucky and
come out winner!" Jack teased.

We sat in the hot tub, just relaxing and talking. We had to leave for
Oregon tomorrow and we wanted to get a fairly early start. "Jack, did
Martin tell you that I have offered him a job at the ranch. He hasn't
accepted yet. Maybe you and I had better put a little pressure on him. I
certainly don't want to let him go now that he has found you. I think
Grandpa and Sam would help us twist his arms. Right guys." Adam asked
jokingly.

"Personally, I would like to twist more than just his arm. That would
probably hurt him, I think just a little squeeze and a little tug now and
the would be sufficient. Man would I like to get my hands on him and give
him a thorough examination. " drooled Grandpa. "He is one hot lad. Oh, to
be 50 years younger."

"Adam, you are always two jumps ahead of me. I was going to ask him the
very same thing. Martin you know our home is your home. I certainly would
love having another brother. I always wanted one and Adam is ok but I would
rather keep him as a lover. You don't have to make a decision right now but
we will be leaving in the morning. Martin, you are the answer to all my
prayers." confessed Jack.

"Adam and Jack, I appreciate your offer very much. I am giving it some
consideration. However, what do I have to offer. I only have the clothes on
my back and Adam owns them. I promised my Grandmother and Mother that I
would find you and I did. I think it is time for me to move on. We can keep
in touch. I don't want to be a burden for anyone." said Martin crying.

"Hey wait a minute!!! I get the feeling that you are making a decision
based on money. We want you for what you are and that is someone that I
would love to have as a friend and relative. I don't judge a person by how
much money they have in the bank or how they look on the outside.. I choose
my friends for the person on the inside. I want someone who can return my
love and affection. I want someone who cares about those around them and
can give of themselves. Martin, you meet all the qualities I want in a
friend. I never had a son and I would certainly love to have you as my
son." Grandpa expounded and told him will sincere emotions.

"I am sure all of you mean well. You are speaking from the heart and I
appreciate all this very much. Everything is happening so fast, I really
don't know what to think. I need some time to sort all of this out." choked
Martin.

"Martin, all we need is a yes. If things don't work out, then I would be
the first to shake your hand and wish you the very best. Love you man. At
least give us a trial period!" Adam requested.

"I agree with Adam. You have been in my life only a few hours now. I
certainly don't want to loose you know. I want a future with you as part of
it." Jack said sorrowfully.

"I am so scarred that all of this is a dream and I will wake up and have
nothing. I can feel all the love and affection coming from all four of
you. One part of me is screaming YES and the another part is saying run
while you still can. I know I have to make a decision and fast. It wouldn't
be fair to all of you and to me to put it off. I have made a
decision–YES! YES! YES! I know Thanks, hugs and kisses are all that is
needed. Thank You!" With that Martin started hugging and kissing everyone.

"Martin, There is something that I have not told you. I am dying. I don't
have much time left. I am very wealthy. I have already signed my property
over to Jack, Sam and Adam. We will stop by my lawyer's office on the way
out of town tomorrow and add your name." stated Grandpa. "Remember Thanks,
hugs and kisses. I'll take mine now."

"Thanks!" Martin said scarcely audible . He was hugging Grandpa and kissing
him and crying all at the same time.

"This is only a temporary arrangement until we get to Oregon and can get
all the property into all our names and make it completely legal. If
something should happen to me on the way, at least you four would get a
little bit after all the taxes you will have to pay. I know that 2-1/2
million would be tax free but then you would have a lot left to pay on."
explained Grandpa..

Martin could not believe his ears. He didn't know that much money existed
in the whole world. He would have a hard time adjusting. He had always
lived from day to day. Some days were real slim and he didn't even have
enough to put food on the table.

We all decided it was time to get out and go to bed . We had a busy day
ahead of us. We all made our way to the bedrooms. "Jack, you'll have to put
Martin in the front guest room. I had Beth get it ready for him already.
Before you all go to bed, Martin would you follow me to my bedroom. I have
something for you." said Grandpa. With that, Sam wheeled Grandpa into his
room. He took a small metal box from the dresser and unlocked it. He took
out a very large bundle of money. "I want you to have this. Now you can be
independent and can be own your own. You won't have to wait for us, to buy
you things. There is $200,000 there and should last you for a
while. Martin, your new life just began!"
