                                   Chapter 12

Adam and I jumped into bed and spooned together. He went right to sleep.
I lay there thinking. What was going on?. Why is Adam so jittery? I
dropped off to sleep.
"Louie, are you going to sleep all day. We had better get up and hit the
showers. It will be time for church before you know it. I have already
been in the shower. Why don't you to get busy. I will have breakfast
ready by the time you get out."
"My aren't we in a good mood this morning! After last night I was really
worried about you! Have you figured out what is bothering you?"
"About half way. I'll tell you after you hit the shower. Now move it!"
"YES, SIR!"
Louie came in and sat down at the table. "Hey, big guy, I didn't know
you were a cook!"
"You must remember Mom is a cook and I use to spend a lot of time helping
her in the kitchen. I guess a lot just rubbed off on me."
I decided not to pressure Adam. He would open up when he was ready.
"Louie, about last night, I really need to get something of my chest." I
put my arms around Adam and held him close. "I love you very, very much.
I am afraid that I am going to loose you if we continue as we have been."
"Adam, I love you also. I don't understand what is going on and I don't
know what you are talking about."
"I know, just hear me out. Louie, we both are going through a very rough
time. We have lost someone that we love. Each of us has a very big void
and we are trying to fill it by turning to sex. I am not talking about
you and I. What we have is natural and beautiful. It is something that we
both want."
"Adam, I am beginning to see where you are going but go ahead."
"Louie, We turned to strangers to satisfy our needs. We were acting like
a couple of cheap whores. We were going down a dead end street with
really no way out. We have a good thing going for us and we're to blind
to see it. We have each other. We don't need strangers using us or vice
versa . All though it has been fun and maybe at a later time, I can do it
again. Meanwhile, I am not going to participate any more. I will remain
with you and my ass is yours anytime you want it. If you want to continue
having fun with others that is entirely up to you. I can't force you to
do anything. You're an adult and you have to make your own decisions.

"Adam, Have I told you how much I love you. We certainly have been a
couple of fools. Can we start over. You are the only one for me and to
think that I came so close of losing everything- You, your family and
that beautiful ass of yours!"
"Louie, there you go again. Don't you ever think of anything but sex.
Let me tell you one thing, you had better not stop either. If we had
time, I would take you right here and now. Just you wait until we are
alone. After I am through with you, you'll never want anyone else. I
love you and I want your body along with your heart." We locked our lips
and kissed for a long time. This was not a kiss of lust but one of love
and continued to hold each other for a long time.
"Hey big guy, We has better go powder our noses and head for the church.
Love you! Promise me that you will never hold anything from me. You have
a good level head and good insight and I will always listen to you.
Thanks for being here for me. I know there was some kind of force that
put us together."
"Just remember that any time you want me, I am yours. Louie, I don't
think either one of us is ready for a long term commitment but we can be
more than just friends ! I think we are really getting close to something
we have just dreamed about!"
We arrived at the church and the parking lot was full. Rev. Sam was going
to get a big reception. One of Lila's friends went to the pulpit.
"Friends, I am so glad that all of you are here. I know that all of you
know what troubling times we have just gone through. In my heart, I know
that God sent Adam and Louie to us for a reason. Ours is not to question
but to accept God's love. They have had a terrible introduction to our
church. Somehow they found in their hearts to forgive us. It was through
them that Rev. Sam and his lovely family, were sent to us. I would like
to extend my thanks and gratitude to them. I ask all of you to join me in
a prayer of thanksgiving and celebration.."
"I know that Rev. Sam wants to say a few word and we would like to hear
them. He will just have to wait. We have a surprise for him and his
family. We have asked Adam, who is also a minister, to say a few words. I
understand that his family has a special program for us. Now I give you
Adam.
Adam went to the front of the church. "First of all, I would like for all
of you to know that I am gay. It was because of this, that I became the
target of Rev. Roberts, who did some terrible things to me and many
others. Many of which will never be known to you. He did things to many
people and they will have scars to last for a life time. My purpose today
is not to condemn or crucify him. I have found in my heart to forgive him
for his transgressions. I ask you as members of this church to do so
also, regardless of how painful this may be. Rev. Roberts is going to pay
the penalty for his sins for a long, long time. It was because of his
actions that my good friend and his lovely family were sent to you. Rev.
Sam will serve you well." Adam paused and the congregation rose to their
feet and gave him a standing obviation.
"Now for the special part of the program. I would like to call my family
to the front, Please We would like to dedicate this part of the program
to Rev. Sam and his family also we want to include all the members who
were responsible for making all of this possible ." We all took our
places and Tim and I had our instruments behind the alter. Gene went to
the piano. We started with an old favorite, `Bless be the tie that
Binds' We sang and played for over an hour. The people were all
standing, singing and clapping. What a benevolent feeling!
"Ladies and gentlemen, I know how long winded Rev. Sam can be but we
didn't leave him much time. So I would like to present Rev. Sam." He got
a royal welcome. There was not a dry eye in the place.
"I would like to thank Adam and his charming family for all that they
have done for me. I love them all dearly." Rev. Sam gave a short rundown
of his life and what his goals were. He introduced his wife and she also
greeted the church The kids were trying to hid but were found long enough
to say hi.
Rev. Sam ended his short speech. "I would like to call Louie to the
pulpit. I think he has a big surprise for everyone."
"I would like to call Lila's two friend to the front please. Rev. Sam
and members of the church, These two ladies are responsible for all the
good things that are happening to this church. I have here the deeds for
two houses in the neighborhood plus Lila's house. I understand that they
will be used for halfway houses. Members of the church I have an envelope
here with a certified check for a substantial amount. Along with the
money found in Robert's office and this check you should be able to get
a first class program off and running and money to fund for it for a long
time. The fourth house belongs to Gene who is moving to Oregon. Gene,
your turn."
"Here is the deed to my home and all the furniture. I understand that it
will be use for a parsonage."
Everyone was standing and cheering very loudly. Tears of happiness were
flowing. The woman who opened the ceremony told everyone that a reception
was to follow in the fellowship hall. She asked Rev. Sam if he would
close with a prayer of thanksgiving.
At the reception we met the two men who were responsible for Roberts
being in jail. They were very appreciative for the counselors. They had
been able to tell their wives every thing. Now they had peace of mind and
could get on with their lives. They told us that the councillors had held
several group sessions with all concerned and their family. The
counselors had held special and separate sessions for the young people
and their families. Everything was done to protect the children and to
help put the past beyond them and to move on. Everyone was on the way to
recovery. They had been given a way to deal with things that had been
inflicted on them by Roberts. Adam and I were very pleased to have been
part of this effort.
We meet with Jim and Ian and told them of our decision. They were very
pleased and felt the same way that we did. They would like to remain
friends. They told us that they would miss our little get `togethers'
but would have happy memories. Nothing could take that from any of us.
Who knows maybe sometime in the future, we could have a little more
`fun.
We left the reception with a joyful heart and was very happy with all
that had happened. A group from Gene's church went to her house to box
her things and help her get ready for the move. We had an u-haul truck
there. The very first thing to go into the truck was her piano. As one
box was filled, it was placed in the truck soon it was filled and another
truck was brought to the house. Within a few short hours, the house was
ready for the new occupants and we went to work unloading Sam's things
and putting them away. They would spend their first night in their new
home.
We put Gene and family in a motel near the motor home. We called Gina's
and headed for a late dinner. We were ready to feed our tired bodies. Our
server was Ian and Jim was there. We asked him to join us. Gina gave Ian
some time off and he joined our little party. We had a very good time. We
were very relaxed with each other and shared a new found closeness. Good
things happen! Adam and I had a large load lifted from us. We now had
good friends, we could value and enjoy for a very long time.
The kids were all ready to leave for Hawaii now. We had a hard time
convincing them that we had several days before we could leave. They
wanted to go camping again with Uncle Adam and Grandpa Louie. I looked at
Adam and he was grinning from ear to ear. I knew what he was
thinking...after the kids are asleep. We made sure that they both had
used the bathroom. We tucked them in and kissed them goodnight. Much to
our surprise, they were asleep almost instantly.
Adam and I moved to the bedroom and striped down to nothing on and jumped
into bed. "Adam you are a top tonight!"
"No fair! How about one of each!'
"You have it Big Boy!" My backside had already started twitching in
anticipation of what was to come. "I wish you would hurry up. I am ready
and wanting you!"
After our love session , we were just laying there holding each other. "I
have a present for you. Stay right here and I will be right back." I went
to the closet and took out two identical silk pajama bottoms. "Now we
won't have to be embarrassed to death by those two in the other room
when they come barging in and jump into bed with us."
Adam slipped his on and I did mine. He pulled me close and kissed me. His
hands started down to my butt cheeks. "Hey, those really feel sexy and I
love what they do my croch. This is unbelievable. It wouldn't take much
for me to get all excited again."
"Won't do you any good! I am going to sleep."
"We have had a rather long day. I guess I can wait until morning!"
"Still won't do you any good. Did you forget about the kids?
"Oh shucks! Whenever, just Lookout! Love you man!"
"Love you too Big Guy!" I feel to sleep in Adam's arms. I like waking up
all snuggled up with Adam.
As expected the kids jumped in bed with us early in the morning. "Josh,
look at those pjs of Uncle Adam's and Grandpa Louie's. They are just
alike and they feel so soft. Where are the tops?"
"The tops are in the closet. You two can have them if you want. They
wound make nice night shirts for you. They will need a little tailoring
but your Mom and Grandmother should be able to handle the problem."
"Thank you! Grandpa Louie! Can we put them on now?' questioned Josh.
"Yes, Do you need any help?"
"No! We can get them by ourselves!" answered Debbie.
"That is one way of getting out of wearing them yourself" laughed Adam
"Who would like spinach and oatmeal this morning? Or would you rather go
to Denny's"
"Grandpa Louie! You know what the answer is! You had better get a shower
and get dressed. You too Adam. You both stink!!" Josh told us. We called
Gene at the motel and told them to meet us at Denny's for breakfast.
After breakfast, we headed to Gene's place. The four guys from the ranch
were there waiting for us. They had taken turns driving and had driven
straight through. They had stopped for breakfast and told us that they
wanted to do some visiting and would see us later in the afternoon. They
had a cell phone from the ranch and would give us a call later. The
trucks were packed and ready. They could take off whenever.
Debbie and Josh hit the door on the running yelling at the top of their
lungs. "Mom! Grandma! Look what Grandpa Louie gave us. We have new night
shirts!"
"I think you should give them back. They are a little big and part of a
set and I think Uncle Adam and Grandpa Louie would look silly without
their tops to their pjs." Laughed Sarah.
"They didn't have them on this morning and I though they looked cute in
just the bottoms. So can we keep them? Grandpa Louie said you could fix
them." remarked Debbie.
"Yes, you can. I was only kidding." said Sarah "but you have to wear some
bottoms."
"We can't `they' will wear the bottoms besides they didn't give them
to us."
"Sis, I think she got you this time!" laughed Adam.
"Well, maybe this time but I still have those old wool scratchy ones of
yours for her to wear unless you would like to trade with her!" laughed
Sarah.
We were saved by my cell phone. Dan was on the line and told us that
Judge Logan wanted to meet with us in his office at 11:00. I told him
that we would be there. .
The family were going to visit friends today. Adam and I would have the
day to ourselves after we met with Judge Logan. We were met by his
secretary and she showed into his chambers. Dan and Judge Logan were
waiting for us.
"Rev. Roberts had a heart attack and died last night in his cell. That is
not the reason I wanted to see you. Well, guys you probably guessed it.
We have another deal for you. This one is different and involves two
sisters from Kansas." reported Judge Logan. "We have two young girls, one
almost 20 and the other almost 18. They were raised by their mother and
stepfather. The mother was killed last year in a car accident. The
stepfather started sexually molesting each of them. They are both two
months pregnant by him. They ran away from home and have been living off
the streets. Yes, they became prostitutes in order to survive. Thank
their lucky stars, they insisted on condoms. They have been tested and
are free of all sexually transmitted diseases. If you are unable to help
us, I will be forced to turn the 17 year old to the juvenile authorities.
Fortunately she has finished high school. The 19 year old would have to
be released. You can see what kind of position we are in. The young one
would have to be held until she is 18. However, I could make you her
legal guardian and you could employee the other one."
"How would you like to have two new sisters, Adam?"
"I have one already and I love her very much. I could always use more."
"Judge, as before, we would have to meet with the girls before we make
our decision. Are the girls next door?"
"Yes, Dan and I knew you would want to meet them. Dan can show you the
way."
"Linda and Mary, I would like for you to meet Adam, the young, good
looking one and Louie is the other one."
"I may not be the younger one but I am the good looking one."said Louie
chuckling. "Glad to know you girls. I believe that Dan and Judge Logan
have talked to you about us. Adam and I are both gay. We live together
but have not yet become partners. This may be in making real soon. How
would you feel about living and working with us?"
Mary was the first to speak. "If you don't mind having two prostitutes
under your care. I have nothing against gays. Everyone should choose
their own life style."
"I was forced into prostitution by a very cruel partner before I met
Louie. Louie does not care about the past. He is concerned with the
present and the future."
"I have a very large ranch in Central Oregon. It is about 50 miles from a
fairly large town. How do you feel about living in a rural area."
This time Linda answered. "Louie, I don't care where I live as long as
it is away from my step- father. We grew up on a small farm. I would like
to bring my child up in a rural setting."
"Have the two of you considered abortion? Asked Louie.
Linda became very upset and said "If that is what you are thinking, then
this interview is over. You might as well go and tell Judge Logan that
the deal is off."
Before I could say any thing Mary agreed very strongly. "Girls, that is
the farthest thing away from what I feel. I was testing the waters to see
the real you. I must say you passed with flying colors. I would have been
very disappointed if you had given me a different answer." I don't know
what kind of work I can offer you. I have a cook and housekeeper who
would like to retire with her husband and do some traveling."
Linda started grinning from ear to ear. "I grew up in the kitchen with my
mother. I became a very good cook under her supervision. Mary was younger
and more the outdoor type. I am sure that we could turn her into a
housekeeper."
"My cook's husband is my grounds keeper. He would be leaving too." Louie
stated.
"I love doing yard work and can operate most equipment used in yard work.
I would just love to give it a try."
"Adam, what do you think?"
"I think I am going to have a full time job protecting my two beautiful
sisters from all those horny old ranch hands. Girls, Louie and I are
huggers. Can we start now?" Both girls were in our arms and crying.
Things had certainly taken a change for the better.
"Girls, I have a couple more questions for you. Have your ever been to
Hawaii and would you like to go?" Louie asked.
" No, we haven't and Yes, we would!" both girls said at once. "That is
out of the question. We don't have any money!"
"Linda and Mary, you might as well start now. Louie didn't ask you to
pay your way. He is a real stubborn old fart and won't take no for an
answer all he wants to hear is Thank You! And a big kiss to seal the
deal. He is the most generous and giving person I have every met. His
next move is to take you shopping for new clothes. Don't go to the
bargain rack. He will be unhappy and just put it all back. You are going
to see real soon why I love him." I turned and gave him a super bear hug.
"Love you."
"Adam you just wait I will get even with you. Linda and Mary, if we have
offered you a deal that you can accept, let's go talk with Judge Logan."
The girls rushed Louie gave him a kiss and said "Thanks!"
We went back into Judge Logan's office and told him we had a deal. "Good
, I have already signed all the paper work and Linda and Mary you are
free to go."
"Thank you, Judge Logan" said both girls.
"Don't thank me, just thank your lucky stars that these two guys came
into your life. They are on your side but don't cross them up or you
will have to pay dearly. God bless and good luck to both of you."
"Adam, here is my cell. Why don't you call your mother and have them
meet us at the Olive Garden for lunch."
Adam was calling and Louie said to the girls, "You are about to meet the
most fantastic person in the whole world and her lovely family. Adam has
a niece and nephew that you will fall in love with. You will become Aunt
Linda and Aunt Mary. I know I am Grandpa Louie."
"This is so good , we don't have any family just a wicked old
stepfather. I don't like him at all and never have." said Mary.
"They are on the way and are eager to meet the new additions to the
family." commented Adam.
"What did I tell you?" responded Louie. "I have to call the travel agent
and get her to make additions to our travel package. I hope it is not to
late. She will have her work cut out but I know she can do it. I will do
that while Adam is taking us to the Olive Garden. After we eat we will go
shopping and we have to get some more cell phones so we can keep in touch
with everyone!"
