Subject: The Earl's Son - part 6

This is a love story following the life of two young men who fall in love
and have to overcome tragedies in their lives. All the characters are
fictional.

Warning - it contains some m/m sex.

Julian struggled with the new play and at one point nearly gave it up but
Robin's support enabled him to continue. He just couldn't get it to flow
and bring across the emotions and feelings of each character. Robin
meanwhile started auditioning for the other parts. There were only three
and two of those were small and had few lines. The most important attribute
was their bodies and they had to be young with no hang up about being naked
on stage, albeit for a short time.

He'd contacted a couple of local drama schools including the one he and
Julian had attended and he soon had a long list to choose from. He pruned
the list down to ten using age as the main criteria since Julian had said
that Daniel's bed partners were to be young.

The first five were hopeless. One refused to strip off as part of the
audition saying he couldn't see why he had to, and two others said they
weren't that keen on being naked on stage. The other two just didn't have
the ability to look sexy and Robin couldn't see himself working with them.

The next two were okay for the minor parts and both were more than willing
to strip off in front of him and Julian. Both had very nice bodies so were
put on the list of likely candidates. Buy they still hadn't found a guy
suitable to play the more major role and Robin was getting worried,
especially when the next two were completely hopeless and Julian couldn't
imagine either of them making a career in drama.

As soon as the last guy entered the room, Robin knew immediately he was the
one.

"Hi, I'm Trevor" he announced as he walked in very self-sure of himself. He
was eighteen and very good looking.

Having gone through what limited experience he had of acting, mainly in
plays at the drama school he attended, Robin explained the role he was
being auditioned for and asked him to imagine he was playing the part.

"May I use you to interact with?" Trevor asked grinning.

Robin agreed and stood up. Trevor immediately started coming on to Robin
and being very sexual with him. He was so convincing that Robin started to
feel his organ rise. Julian then got him to walk across the room as if he
was leaving and saying goodbye to Robin and he did it perfectly.

"The scene opens with the pair of us naked in bed under a sheet and

it all after that".

Robin nodded and was about to ask if he had any problem with being naked on
stage.

"You want me to strip off so you can check me out?

"Yes please" Julian replied having rather enjoyed watching the scene being
played out so far.

Without further ado, Trevor stripped off and stood their stark naked in
front of them. Robin then asked him to walk round the room and imagine he
was being looked at by an audience of predominately gay men. Trevor grinned
and promptly walked round the room several times, before finally standing
beside Robin and placing his arm on his shoulder.

"How's that?" he grinned clearly coming onto Robin.

"Perfect" Robin replied, "We'll be in touch shortly when we've made our
final decision".

Having checked out Trevor's availability for rehearsals and a play run of
at least two months, he left them.  Once he'd left, Robin said he was
perfect for the role.

"He sure is" Julian chuckled, "But I think I'll have to watch him. He was
coming onto you like mad".

"Are you jealous?" Robin laughed.

"Mm, maybe but I think you're going to rather enjoy being naked in bed with
him!"


Julian had at last got the script to how he wanted although he had a
feeling there would be several amendments made once they started
rehearsing. Fortunately there was only one set which mainly consisted of a
double bed, a mock window at the back of the stage and a wheelchair in
which Christian sat most of the time listening to his lover have sex in bed
with his boyfriends.

That afternoon, Robin contacted Trevor and the other two guys to say they'd
been accepted and could they attend a meeting in two days' time to discuss
the play and be given a copy of the script. All three guys were delighted
to hear they'd been successful and looked forward to working with Julian
and Robin. They had yet to meet Jamie who would be playing the part of
Christian but that would happen when they all got together.


The meeting went well and the three new guys got on very well with each
other and Jamie. Two of the three were gay, having made that clear when
they auditioned, but the third said he had no problem in playing the part
of a gay character and being naked in bed with Robin. Julian had a
suspicion that he was probably bisexual but he'd not given any indication
to that effect. He could also see Jamie eyeing up the other two and
suspected they too would be bed fellows of his once he'd got to know them
better from what Kevin had let drop since they'd returned from their
holiday in the country.

Having been nagged by his mother to do so, Julian had contacted the
Registry Office in Oxford and fixed a date for the end of August, a week
before their birthdays. Only immediate family a few select friends would be
invited to the legal ceremony but a larger number would receive invitations
to the reception.

"We need to go and be interviewed by the Registrar" Julian told Robin when
he'd come off the phone, "We'll go down next week if you like and stay over
a night at home".

Robin grinned and gave Julian a big hug and a kiss, "Do I call you my
husband?" he teased.

"No you fucking don't" Julian laughed, "I'm your partner!"

"Sexy, gorgeous partner" Robin giggled.

"Yeah, well, I won't object to being called that!"


As usual, Robin learned his lines and got into character very quickly and
Trevor did the same but Jamie seemed to be having problems with his
character.

"Surely if this Christian guy can't get it up because he's paralysed, he'd
use his hands and his mouth to satisfy his lover" Jamie said impatiently
grabbing hold of Trevor who was standing nearby. He got Trevor to sit
astride his legs and plunged his hands down the back of his trousers.

Robin, who was sitting opposite them, watched Trevor's bright blue
sweatpants being pulled down his butt by Jamie's hands along with his
orange briefs until his naked flesh was on view. Visions of what Robin
would like to do with Trevor flashed through his mind until Julian brought
him back to reality.

"You may have a point Jamie; perhaps we'll include a short scene in which
Christian does just that and pulls Trevor's towel off and gets him to sit
on your lap like that. What do you think Trevor?"

"Yeah, good idea; it will give the audience something to wet themselves
over won't it; perhaps Christian should suck my dick as well."

Although that was very tempting, Julian decided that was going a bit too
far for a stage production even though the adverts would state very clearly
that it included nudity and scenes of a sexual nature. Robin grinned and
suspected that Jamie had already had Trevor in his bed and sucked him off
by the way the two were all over each other.

"If you two are finished, perhaps we can continue" Robin said eventually.

Trevor took the hint and climbed off Jamie's lap but it was very obvious

The other two guys just sat there and looked on. Robin was still trying to
decide if one of them was gay or at least bisexual. He certainly seemed to

A few days later, Julian gave everyone the revision to the script and they
rehearsed the new scene. Jamie had at last got into Christian's character
and played it to perfection much to Julian's relief since at one point he
had visions of having to find someone else to play the part. Julian knew it
wasn't one of his best productions since there was little content to work
with but he had a feeling it would be successful with the gay community
because of the amount of nudity and sexual content.

Eventually it was time to do a dress rehearsal within the confines of the
stage itself. The set was complete and once again the set designer had come
up trumps albeit that it was principally a simple set.

During the first act, Robin and his lovers only had to undress, climb into
bed and pretend to have sex beneath the sheet. Robin made sure that when he
removed his briefs he faced the audience for a moment so they could all get
a good look at him. The spotlights on the bed then dim and concentrate on
Jamie in the wheelchair. The set had been designed in such a way as to
indicate that the bedroom area is separated from the rest of the room with
a curtain although the audience can in fact see both sides at once. Jamie
then makes an imaginary phone call to a friend and complains about his
lover continually bringing back guys to bed.

Eventually the spots light up the bed and Robin gets out, picks up a towel
which he casually carries in his hand and walks through the curtain to
where Jamie is seated. The young guy in bed with him hurriedly gets out of
bed and dresses just showing his naked butt for a few moments.

A similar scene takes place with the other young guy before the end of the
first act having followed a scene in which Robin's character, Daniel, says
how much he loves Christian. During this particular scene, Christian has
Daniel with his back to the audience and unfastens his trousers. They drop
to the floor and expose Robin's naked butt. Christian then takes hold of
Daniel's cock as if he's going to suck it when the doorbell rings and the
other young guy arrives for a session with Daniel.

The second act opens with Robin and Trevor already in bed and Jamie sitting

Apart from a few minor changes Julian was happy with the result. He'd also
noticed one of the lads had forgotten one of his lines but Robin in his
usual way continued without any sign of the error taking place so the

When Robin was getting dressed, he whispered to Trevor "I do believe you
got a hard-on during that bed scene".

"Not surprising being naked in bed with you!"


First night came and went and it was a great success. The audience gave the
five actors a standing ovation at the end so Julian's fears were swept
away. Robin had noticed that the audience was one hundred percent male
which wasn't surprising and in fact it remained that way for most of the
run except for the odd two or three females. It was very much a gay play
and the audience loved it.

Julian had planned to run it for two months but seeing the number of people
trying to get tickets and being disappointed he decided to extend it for
another month. It always seemed a lot of work for such short runs but he
knew that fringe theatre productions seldom went on for much longer.

During the fourth week, Robin received a call from a local radio
station. They were doing a short play in four episodes and wanted him to
play a gay character. He'd never done radio before so wasn't sure but
Julian said he would be fine.

"At least you don't have to remember the words since you'll be reading them
from a script into the microphone."

Robin agreed and told the producer that he'd be delighted to accept the
part. Rehearsals were to take place the following week. When he received
the script he read it right through so as to understand the plot and get
into character. When he arrived at the rehearsal he almost knew it all off
by heart. The producer couldn't believe it.

Robin enjoyed recording the four episodes, despite having to re-record
several parts because one of the actors fluffed their lines. He decided it
was easy money and it would mean he would be heard by a much wider
audience.


Julian meanwhile was already working on his next production. He had been
particularly impressed with Trevor's performance so asked him if he'd be
willing to do another play with Jamie and Robin. Trevor said he'd love to
and of course it meant he'd spend more time with the lovely Robin! His
liaison with Jamie hadn't lasted long so they no longer met up for wild
sessions of sex anymore. It seemed the other guy who nobody was too sure as
to which way he swung, had replaced Trevor and was now the man of the
moment, or to be more correct, the cock of the moment since Jamie was very

Whilst Robin was rehearsing for Julian's new play, he received another call

time would involve thirteen episodes. It was more complex than the last and

of Robin's success and was concerned that he might lose him.

Julian on the sofa and placing his head into Julian's lap.

"I love you" Julian whispered as he gently stroked Robin's head.

Robin turned his head and looked up into Julian's blue eyes, "And I love
you too" he said quietly placing a hand on top of Julian's.

As usual, Julian could feel his organ reacting and it wasn't long before
his erection was pressing against Robin's face through his trousers. Robin
giggled as he felt it and slowly unzipped Julian's fly. He slipped a hand

"Think this needs some attention" he giggled as he repositioned himself so

"You can come on in if you want Kevin" Robin laughed when he saw him
standing in the doorway.

Kevin grinned and came up closer to watch Julian bring Robin off. As he did
so, Robin squirmed and his whole body jumped up and down. Julian could feel

When he was done, Robin pulled Kevin by the hand and sat him down on the

you. You're still sure you want to marry me aren't you?"

"What kind of question is that?" Robin exclaimed hugging Julian even
tighter, "Of course I do; why do you ask?"

"I just want this to be perfect and don't want you to feel you're being
rushed in any way" Julian replied as he gazed into Robin's brown eyes.

"Don't be daft, of course I want to marry you and in no way do I feel I'm
being rushed; don't worry mate I'd soon tell you if I felt that."

Julian smiled and kissed Robin. Yes, he knew that Robin was never backward
in saying exactly what he thought which was another thing he so loved about
this guy.

"When will the rings be ready to collect?" Julian asked wiping away a tear
of joy from his eye.

"Thursday; I thought we'd collect the suits as well that day since they're
also ready for collection."

They'd been to a jeweller in New Bond Street and chosen matching gold rings
that had two small diamonds set in them. Robin had never seen such
beautiful rings and when he saw the price he nearly died. He still couldn't
get it into his head that his partner was so wealthy. They'd also decided
to both wear matching suits that were a mid grey with a slightly lighter
grey waistcoat and a pink tie. They were being made to measure by a tailor
in Savile Row. Robin found it somewhat amusing being measured by a guy and
having his inside leg measurement taken but somehow he got through the
experience without giggling.

Craig had agreed to be their best man although nobody was really too sure
what you called such a person when two guys were getting hitched. Craig was
particularly good at organising things and very thorough. They also decided
they didn't want a stag night as such but instead took Craig, Jamie and
Trevor, who'd become regular visitors to the apartment over the last few
months, out to dinner along with Kevin the night before they were all due
to travel down to Drayton House. The six of them had a great evening and
since Craig still lived near Abingdon with his parents, he stayed at the
apartment that night, although he in fact spent the night in Kevin's bed,
unbeknown to Robin and Julian!


"Are you guys ready?" Craig called out, "It's time to leave".

They had all driven down the day before with Julian, Robin, Jamie and
Trevor travelling in the Jaguar, and Craig following on behind in his car
with Kevin. The plan was that the six of them would attend the ceremony at
the registry office with Julian's parents, his sister Alisha and
Oliver. After that, they would return to the house where a large marquee
had been erected for the reception.

"You look gorgeous" Julian told Robin as he admired him in his grey suit,
"Everyone who sees you is going to be jealous of me" he added as he kissed
the guy he loved with all his heart.

Robin grinned and kissed back. He was feeling nervous yet excited at the
same time.

"You both look wonderful" his mother exclaimed when they finally walked
down the stairs to meet the others.

"You sure are a lovely couple" Julian's dad commented as he looked on.


The Registrar was lovely and made everyone feel at ease. Julian and Robin
had written their own declaration of love for each other that included the
lines to make the ceremony legal. They exchanged rings and once done the
Registrar pronounced them Civil Partners. They kissed and those present
erupted into applause. Tears were already falling down Robin's face; he was
so happy. Julian gently wiped them away and kissed him again which made his
mother cry as well. Even his dad had to admit it was a beautiful scene
despite being two men!

When they returned home, the rest of their guests were gathered in the
marquee. As they walked in there was a loud roar of applause. Robin didn't
know any of them since most were uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces
from Julian's family but they all gathered round the newly partnered couple
and congratulated them.

Members of the catering company were buzzing round offering glasses of
champagne and a small orchestra in one corner was playing some of Robin's
favourite music. They'd even shipped in a grand piano on which the day
before he'd managed to have a quick play.

Soon everyone was asked to sit down for the meal which was served with the
utmost efficiency. Julian and Robin had Julian's parents sitting on one
side of them and Craig on the other at the top table. The other guests were
sitting at round tables gathered in front of them. When the meal was almost
finished, Craig stood up and said a few words. He said how he'd known
Julian from school days and from the moment he'd seen him and Robin
together he knew they were in love. Much to Julian's relief he kept his
speech clean and left out the many things they'd got up to as kids.

He then announced that Earl Drayton would like to say a few words. Julian
was shocked since nothing had been said to him about this. He gripped
Robin's hand as his dad stood up.

"To be honest" he started, "when Julian came out to his mother and I as
being gay, I was shocked and disappointed, not because I minded too much
but I was sad at the thought of him missing out on true love. How wrong I
was. If someone had told me then that two men could have such love for each
other I would never have believed them but since knowing Robin here, I have
seen my son blossom and I've seen true love in his eyes whenever he is with
Robin. Likewise I have seen the love in Robin's eyes for my son. For that I
am truly grateful and welcome him into the family with all my heart."

By now, both Julian and Robin had tears in their eyes and were frantically
dabbing them with a tissue.

"As many of you will know, Robin has been dealt a double blow in his short
life. Not only did his dad pass away when he was only sixteen, but last
year his mother was shot dead in Sri Lanka whilst carrying out her duties
in the Sri Lankan government. Despite those terrible losses, Robin has
soldiered on and continued to love Julian with all his heart. If that's not
enough, he's made a career in theatre and radio; and by the way, he tells
me there's another of his radio plays being broadcast within the next few
weeks so make sure you all listen to it."

There was a general chuckle amongst the guests and Julian squeezed his
lover's hand some more whilst Robin dabbed the tears away.

"And of course, Julian has started his own theatre production company and
put on several plays which I am reliably told have been very successful;
not that I've seen them since I believe they're more suited to the gay
community, but even so I wish both of them every success and every
happiness for a very long time to come."

The guests all stood up and applauded and cheered as Craig tried to propose
a toast to the happy couple. Finally he did so and everyone roared `To
Julian and Robin'.

Julian turned to Robin and kissed him much to the enjoyment of the
assembled crowd.

"And now, one of the grooms would like to say a word" Craig was saying.

Julian had said he'd get up and thank everyone for coming so Robin just sat
back to listen.

"I met Robin on his first day at the boarding school I attended" Julian was
saying, "and from the moment I saw him I knew he was the guy for me; the
problem was whether he felt the same way but as you can see he must have
done since he's sitting here right beside me. I love this guy with all my
heart, always have and always will".

At this point, Julian bent down and kissed Robin again before continuing
with his speech in which he thanked everyone for making this a wonderful
day.


Once the cake had been cut and more champagne had been drunk, the formal
dinner was declared over and the guests relaxed. Gradually guests left
leaving a core of young people to enjoy themselves. The party went on well
into the night. As it did so, Robin noticed that Craig and Kevin were in
each other's arms on more than one occasion and he had a shrewd idea that
they'd be sleeping together that night. Jamie and Trevor had also found a
partner each and on one occasion Julian noticed Jamie coming back into the
marquee adjusting his trousers with an expression of pleasure on his face!
Whether Trevor had scored he wasn't sure but he did notice that he and
Jamie went off together when the party finally ended.

The following morning there were several sore heads so everyone who'd
stayed over decided to take things gently. Finally Craig said he was
leaving and had agreed to drive Kevin back to London since he was in no
hurry to go home. Robin and Julian weren't due to drive back until the
following day with Jamie and Trevor.

"Two guesses where Craig will be sleeping tonight" Robin giggled once
they'd said their goodbyes.

"Yep, seems young Kevin has found a friend" Julian replied.

The weather had indeed been kind to them and that afternoon the sun was out
and the temperature had risen to a very comfortable level. Julian suggested
he, Robin, Jamie and Trevor go to the lake. Robin grinned and guessed what
Julian had in mind, especially when he noticed some towels in a rucksack he
was carrying.

When they reached the lake, Julian suggested they have a swim and promptly
stripped off. Jamie and Trevor were happy to do the same and were soon
running naked into the water behind Julian with Robin hot on their heels.

They had great fun with each other, grabbing each other's appendages as
they did so. When they finally emerged out of the water, all four had

Julian spotted one of the farmhands watching them. He was much the same age

days later. They were off to New York for two weeks.

"Do gays call it a honeymoon?" Robin giggled as they went downstairs to the
taxi that was waiting to take them to Heathrow airport. He'd never been to
New York so was really excited. They were staying in an apartment near
Central Park that the Earl owned. Julian had told him there was a resident
butler so all they had to do was arrive and have fun.

"Not sure" Julian replied, "All I know is that I'm going to have two whole
weeks with a gorgeous guy who I'm going to fuck all day long!"

"Mm, I want to spend some time looking at the sights" Robin giggled.

"Okay, I'll restrict the sex to four times a day then" Julian laughed.
