Chapter 11

Final Chapter

We made it through the night with flying colors. Mom and Martha went to bed
talking about what a good time they had. They got up this morning still talking.
They told me if I ever needed more help to be sure and put them at the top of
the call list.

Jerry and Lucy were tickle pink with their new Jeep Liberty. They were just as
happy to have a little change in their pocket. In fact they had more than a
little change. We made off like bandits. Of course we are not complaining one
bit. We have another dinner tonight and another the next day . I think we are
going to be kept busy. We were told by many of the patrons that they would ask
for us specifically.


Jeff told us of a beautiful picnic area not far from the cabin and for us to
bring swim suits. There is a natural hot springs not far from where Tony and I
came onto the road when we had our little trek in the woods. We all decided to
grab some things from the deli and head out and have a picnic. The locals had
built a rather large pool to be used as a hot tub and had built a small sauna or
steam bath. Rocks could be heated in a fire and hot water poured over them and
presto steam. What a treat for all of us.

"Listen up every one! I want you all to be the first to know that Jeff and I and
going to move in together. He has a beautiful cabin here on Loon Lake. I just
love it here so I am going to move in with him. That way, I won't have find a
place of my own, buy new furniture and etc." Ellen was interrupted with a loud
applause and yelling.

"Please let me go on. Jeff and I have had several long discussions about what to
do about the baby. I have decided to keep it and if things don't work out, then
I will put it up for adoption. Jeff and I have both agreed that we need
counseling both now and after the baby is born. I have a doctors appointment and
now I need to start thinking about what is good for the baby. I get all tingly
inside now just thinking about the prospect of motherhood. I have this wonderful
man to thank." She leaned over and gave Jeff a big kiss. Again she got a big
applause.

"I went through one failed marriage and I had convinced my self to be a
confirmed bachelor. Things were going my way, until this beautiful woman showed
up and turned my world up-side down. I know what we have is true love but we
will just have to wait and let it grow." Tony and Martha were the first to give
them a big kiss and hug. Tony had tears rolling down his cheeks and soon he had
everyone in tears.

"Ellen and Jeff, I want you to know that I fully approve of this relationship.
Ellen and I were dating at one time and we were very serious until I met another
woman who moved in between us and broke us apart. When Ellen called and said she
wanted to come out and visit, I was sure that she wanted to rekindle our failed
relationship. I finally agreed to let her come. I am glad that I did because
even though we didn't make it as a couple, I couldn't and won't stand in the way
of her happiness. Jeff you are one lucky, lucky man. Ellen, I think I still have
a little love left in my heart for you. I can now direct it toward both of you.
Ellen, you deserve the best and I think you found it in this man. Good luck and
God bless both of you."

"Thanks, Tony. We hope that you will find true love. You deserve some good
things going your way." said Ellen.


"Ellen, I don`t think you will have wait any longer. Dave, Please come here and
stand by my side. I have something very important to ask you." Tony took my
hands into his. "Dave, I was going to do this in private but I just changed my
mind. I love you very much and would like to have you become my life partner!
Will you Dave?"

"Tony, of course I will! I was going to ask you later but you beat me to it.
Tony, I love you and I want to shout it so the whole world will know. TONY, I
LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!" They took each other in their arms, kissing
long and hard. The tears were now really flowing.

So after a bizarre and strange meeting, Tony and Dave were able to over come the
many obstacles that they had to face. They met these head on and now they can
look back and say `Tomorrow is another day' and we are going to live it to the
fullest. We are now one and no one can come between us or tear us apart.


So this story is coming to a close or should I say this is just the beginning?
