Subject: Expedition 8

This story shares some characters with A Christmas Story and with Old
Guys. It is pure fantasy with no effort at safe sexual practices. Some
might recognize that I am interested in older men, often bearded and
hairy. If you like beach bunnies, this is not the story for you. If you are
underage, or uninterested in openly homosexual content, do NOT read this
story.

The next day was very quiet. We got back to the camp at 7:00 and spent the
day working on unfinished business. The number of discoveries on the
preceding days was astounding and the task of recording and protecting was
formidable. That evening we were sitting in the tent, talking. We told
Billy and Carlo of our experiences of the night before.

"I wish I had been there." Billy said. "From a purely scientific viewpoint,
of course!" We laughed.

"If you had a beard, you would have been on the guest list." Ellis
said. "Mustaches aren't enough."

"I can't believe how good I feel." Ari said. "It was a long night, but
there seems to be no ill side effects. "

"I feel the same way." I said. "I feel a bit exhilarated."

"Maybe it's from having done a good deed." Gil said. "And enjoying it so
much."

"I had heard of ceremonies like that, but I'm not sure anyone has actually
seen one, not to mention participated." Ellis said. "I think it's the key
to the inscription on the pavement."

"Given the Mayan preference for ripping the hearts of their sacrificial
victims, it's easy enough to understand why that ceremony was so popular."
Sean said. "The new bear god religion must have been revolutionary."

Gunshots rang out. They were distant, but not distant enough for me. We
all ran out of the tent. Julio's men were armed and alert. Julio appeared
and lead a group in the direction of the shots. Carlo was on the phone
calling the main house and the Commandante. We heard some more shooting in
the distance. Ten minutes later a police helicopter flew over head.

Julio called in. Pedro's men had been ambushed, one had been wounded and
they were chasing the attackers into the jungle.

"Tomb robbers!" Sean said. "Scum!"

Roberto arrived followed by a truck of police and his own personal
guard. There was another call from Julio. He said that the attackers had
taken two men. From the descriptions they were Allen and Ronnie. Carlo and
I ran over to the kiddie camp. It was empty since most of the volunteers
had left that morning. There were signs of a struggle in Allen's tent.

We returned to the Casa Grande. A second truck of police had
arrived. Alphonso ran into the camp.

"Banditos!" He cried. "Max caught them leaving with the volunteers. He
tried to stop them. Max was shot. Dad is chasing them!" A jeep arrived
with Max on a stretcher. I know nothing about gunshot wounds, but he didn't
look good. Roberto sent him to the house. There was a doctor there.

"Which Bandits were they?" Roberto asked.

"The Flam dogs!" Alphonso said and he spit as if to clean his mouth of the
name. Carlos later explained that the FLM was the Front to Liberate the
Maya, and were the arch enemies of the local Indians. They had caused the
deaths years before. I could hear drums in the distance.

"What do the jungle drums say?" Gil asked. It was a line straight from a
1930s era adventure movie. I would have laughed if the situation had not
been so dangerous.

"It's the Mayan equivalent of a four-alarm fire. All hands on deck. Battle
stations." Roberto said. "I haven't heard them in years. Pedro is on the
war path."

"We will avenge the dishonor!" Alphonso said. "This is our land. You are
our people!" Roberto raised his eyebrows but didn't say anything. Alphonso
left to join his father.

"This is awful." Ellis said. "Gringo abductions will ruin the expedition.
The press will focus on that, not the discoveries!"

"We'll catch them and get your friends back." Roberto said.

"Even if they do, there will be a trial." Ellis said. He was despondent.

"I wouldn't bet the farm on that. Is that the right phrase? " Roberto
said. "The police have all the modern equipment here and the Commandante is
very much more efficient than you might think looking at him. But the
jungle is thick." He paused. "If the Mayans capture them, they have, let
us say, different rules. It is a very ancient system of justice."

"Justice?" Ellis said.

"Justice, but not perhaps based on Anglo Saxon legalities." Roberto
said. "Does that shock you?"

"Not one little bit." Ellis said. "It doesn't bother me in the least."

"This is a spectacular find. It could transform this area from a rural
backwater to a prosperous district." Roberto said. "The land is poor, the
earth worn out. The ruins are our hope. We will not let bandits ruin it."

"They don't mind outsiders doing the discovering?" Sean asked.

"Apparently you aren't outsiders." Roberto said. "I don't know what has
happened here. I am an outsider, but you aren't. The drums play only for
members of the tribe. The boys they abducted aren't gringo tourists. They
are Pedro's guests. It is a great affront."

The next several hours were filled with activity. More and more police
arrived and our tent became the headquarters for the Commandante. Roberto
was right. The Commandante was much more efficient and in control than I
had guessed. He brought in dogs and scouts to lead the way into the jungle.

I was worried about Ronnie and Allen, although I knew they were fairly
self-reliant. I assumed that ransom was the objective, so they were
comparatively safe.

At about ten that night exhaustion hit me like a ton of bricks. I went to
Ari's tent and sat back in a chair. There was a commotion outside and I
woke. It was six in the morning. I was stiff as a board and barely able to
get out of the chair. Pedro, Alphonso and the some of the Mayans from the
ceremony the night before were there with Allen and Ronnie. Both men were
unharmed.

The Commandante came out of the tent and looked overjoyed. Pedro was one of
his men, so the capture reflected well on him.

"Are you all right?" I asked Allen.

"We're fine. Tired, but fine." Allen said

"Where are the banditos?" Sean asked.

"They won't bother anyone any more." Pedro said. He looked very
satisfied. "Not one of them will be a problem. Is Max alive?" From the way
he spoke I realized he knew how serious Max's wounds were.

"I don't know, come in my friend and we will find out." Pedro and the
Commandante went into the tent.

"It is not good." The Commandante as he emerged. "We are going to the
house. Esteban, can you write up a report for the men to sign. Check with
Alphonso for appropriate detail." Esteban was a Sargent.

"Do we need to tell you our story?" Ronnie asked.

"If you don't mind, we will write a correct story that will pass through
the federal departments without causing a stir." Esteban said. "If it
doesn't bother you, of course."

"No stir sounds good to me!" Allen said. Ronnie nodded his assent.

Pedro, the Commandante left for the house to see Max. Gilbert and Ari
accompanied them. Ellis had been whispering to Ari and thought the big
bears' presence would be appreciated. The rest of us got ready for another
day of work.

Juan and I had made a good start on measuring the underground compartment,
and it was time to finish it so we cold start drawing it up. John was with
us, looking over the underground compartments for places where structural
stabilization was needed.

Ellis joined us with Randy and Reggie. They twins turned out to be
excellent photographers. They combined documentary accuracy with a sense of
composition that showed each object in the best possible way. They would
only be here another few days before they returned to New York and the
rehearsal for the play so we wanted them to complete the photographic
record.

Late that afternoon, Ari and Gilbert came back with Roberto.

"Max is dead." Gilbert said. We sat in silence.

"How is Pedro?" John asked.

"He seemed fine." Ari said. "He must have known from the start there wasn't
much hope. He told him that they had rescued Allen and Ronnie and killed
the abductors."

"Unless I was very mistaken, Max died with a smile on his face." Gilbert
added.

"Max died a hero." Ellis said. "Defending his tribe against their
enemies. And he died in the company of the gods."

"Aren't we getting a bit carried away with this gods stuff?" Billy asked.

"I don't think so. If we were early explorers' we would classify Pedro as a
Mayan king. He rules his people. He feels he was blessed to have the
ancient gods return, and thinks that they are going to bring prosperity
back to his people. I will bet the bandits were the descendants of the
human sacrifice Mayans, ancient adversaries." Ellis explained.

"To bring prosperity to this poor land is a blessing." Roberto said. "I
have never been able to get their trust the way you have. You are
right. Pedro is a lot more than an Indian chief. He is the descendant of
kings."

"Is that why Max was in your bedroom?" Gilbert asked.

"Yes." Roberto said. "It would be unsuitable for Max to die in the bunk
house. I put him in my bed and brought the pictures of Christ and Mary to
his bed side." We talked over the situation for the next several
hours. Allen and Ronnie came in. They had been sleeping for the day. They
were saddened by the death.

The funeral was the next day and we weren't to attend. The bear gods were
associated with life, not death. Ari said that when Max looked as if he was
dying, Pedro made them leave the room. They had thought it was to be alone
with his son. It may have been that, but he was also worried about ritual
defilement. He didn't want the gods defiled by a death.

The next day Pedro and his Indians returned as it was as if nothing had
happened. There was no incident as far as any public record was concerned.
On Friday, Roberto invited us to the big house for a party for Gilbert,
Billy and the twins. They were off to New York.

This was different from the last party I had been too. There were no
outside guests, only members of the expedition and residents of the
hacienda. Poppa was there. He had returned to the house when I became
acclimated to the conditions here and didn't need him. He seemed happy to
see me.

The hacienda had been filled with high-ranking visitors, mostly wealthy men
who would contribute to the effort. Poppa told me he had been helping
them, but that none were as affable as I. "Most liked the bunk house boys!"
He said.

Ari, Gil, John and Gilbert as well as the twins had stayed with us at the
camp near the excavation, so Roberto hadn't seen that much of them. Carlo
said that he had been distracted by the donors and suddenly realized he had
neglected the men who were making such a contribution to the effort. Juan
and Alphonso were there, as Allen and Ronnie's dates apparently, but
everyone else was middle-aged.

Roberto was a wonderful host, and he went all out. The food was wonderful,
drinks plentiful. He had told his cook about Ari's cooking prowess and the
cook went all out. Everyone was in a good mood. The abduction followed by
Max's death had cast a pall over the expedition. This evening it seemed to
lift.

After dinner Juan and Ronnie stripped naked and jumped into the
pool. Alphonso and Ari followed, and soon we were all in the water. It was
refreshing. It was warm, of course, and no one dressed again. I am not a
cynical man, but I had a suspicion that the sudden outbreak of nudity
wasn't accidental and that Roberto's party was planned for him to get to
sample his guests.

I had thought that Roberto was a top, and accustomed to being served. He
emerged from the water next to Billy and swallowed Billy's cock like a
dolphin at Sea World. He also snagged Randy and Reggie and turned it into a
quartet. That seemed to be the sign for a general coupling. Alphonso went
after Ari. Ronnie was with Carlo. Somehow Gilbert and I got together.

His experience of being a bear god had done nothing to diminish his
attraction. It was just like being back in Lynchburg on Christmas Eve. We
were in the sixty-nine position and oozing precum in buckets. Sean joined
me, sucking on Gilbert's balls while I took his cock.

"Slow up boys! I don't want to pop now!" Gilbert moaned. We pulled apart
for a breather. Poppa was serving drinks to everyone. They were cool and
refreshing. I was beginning to feel that Pedro's theory that man sex was
for brother hood and fun had something to it. Gilbert and I were attracted
to each other, but it hadn't bothered me to see him with the initiates the
other day. I didn't mind sharing his balls with Sean.

We both were men and valued our work, he as an actor, me as an
architect. This project was a once and a lifetime opportunity for me. He
knew that if he could do the narrations for National Geographic Specials he
would be set for the rest of his life. We didn't own each other, I didn't
feel that the time he was with other guys was time stolen from me.

Allen and Gil were enjoying them selves next to us. Carlo was deep
throating Ronnie and it looked as if Alphonso was getting ready to
penetrate Carlo's ass. Alphonso was watching Roberto as sucked the
twins. It also looked as if Roberto was going to try out Ari's cock.

Reggie and Ronnie were on the ground kissing each other as Roberto sucked
one, then the other's cock. They were meaty boys and it wasn't possible to
get both cocks in his mouth. Had it been possible, Roberto would have done
it. Roberto's ass was high in the air and wiggling in invitation. Ari
looked ready. I wondered if cum exchange counted for the Mayans in a non
ceremonial situation.

Alphonso penetrated Carlo as Ari popped into Roberto's hole.

"It looks like fun doesn't it?" Gilbert whispered into my ear. I told him
that it sure did. He had a finger in my ass and I was overcome with desire
to feel his monster cock in my ass. I had never taken him. He told me to
wait until I was ready when he played with the twins at Christmas.

"Sit on it!" he said. I straddled him and eased back. My ass pushed against
his blunt cock head and it slowly forced itself into my ass. It was
uncomfortable at first, but since I was in control I wasn't worried. Billy
fed Gilbert his cock as he kisses me and I forgot my self and eased
back. The head popped through my sphincter and the shaft began to enter.

"Take that fucker!" Billy whispered. "You won't believe what it feels
like. It'll fill you up" Billy put his hands on my shoulders and pushed me
back. It was in. It was like a cock explosion in my ass. It hurt and I
wanted to get up.

"Just let it stay!" Billy said. "You've done the hard part. Relax and wait
for it to feel good. I did, and a minute or so later it did. I began to
rise then settle back. Gilbert remained rock hard and I began to twitch to
get the cock more comfortable. The warm feeling began to emanate from my
prostate. Roberto was moaning as Ari fucked him.

"Let's try this a different way." Gilbert said. I got off and onto my hands
and knees. He fucked me doggy style. It hurt again, but the pleasurable
part followed much more quickly than before. The pleasure was so intense
the memory of the pain almost vanished. He began to pump faster. Then he
stopped. He got up and another cock entered my ass, Billy's. Billy wasn't a
small man but it was a walk in the park compared to Gilbert. Gilbert was
more intense and exciting. Billy was pure fun.

Ari had cum in Roberto's ass but Roberto wanted more. Gilbert's donkey dong
slid in the Mexicans ass using Ari's cum as a lubricant. Roberto moaned in
pleasure. Gilbert came quickly and Alphonso replaced him. Billy and I shot
off together. The night began to wind down. I didn't know exactly what had
been done to whom, but everyone did something. I slipped into the pool
again, the water felt cool and invigorating.

Everyone looked relaxed in the post orgasmic haze. Roberto looked very
happy. He was sitting on the side of the pool holding Alphonso in his
arms. I had a feeling Roberto had made peace with the Indians.
