INTRODUCTION: The town of Sunnydale, California, is kept safe from vampires
and other creatures of the night by Buffy Summers, a teenager who was chosen to
be the "slayer." While Buffy tries to manage a normal life, and fight

Angel."

"Xander, it's me. Buffy. Angel's out right now trying to stop Spike and
Drusilla from terminating Sunnydale," Buffy explained.
"And your point is..." Xander replied.
"My point is we've got to stop him, or he'll get into trouble," Buffy
stated.
"How exactly does this effect me?" Xander questioned.
"Forget about how much you hate Angel. We need to help him, ok? Just
think of it as doing a favor for me," Buffy said.

he'd help her, even if helping her meant finding her boyfriend.

Buffy then gave Xander detailed directions about where he was supposed to
wait for Angel.
"I'll meet you there as soon as possible," Buffy promised.
"Ok, bye," Xander said, hanging up the phone.

area where Buffy instructed him to wait at. Almost a half hour had passed when

"It's true. Xander and I got along pretty well," Angel agreed.

friendly with each other," Buffy remarked.

"Getting along with Xander is a pretty scary thought," Angel joked as he,
Xander and Buffy walked along the dark streets together.
At that moment, Xander and Angel looked at each other and realized that
they each had a new respect and admiration for each other. Even though the
