You are telling me that Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys has been blackmailing you?" Chris asked. "Yes he has." Lance stated. "Why would he black mail you? What's the point in blackmailing you?" Chris asked. "He wants to ruin the group, he thinks that we are too much competition and that it's not fair that he and his boyfriend was exposed while we are still in secret." Lance tried to explain. "What do you mean by that Lance, he was exposed?" Justin asked. "Well earlier this year, Kevin and his boyfriend were outed by some tabloids and he thinks that someone in our circle had something to do with it since it happened while we were all on tour together." Lance stated, causing everyone to look at him. "To put it briefly, he thought it to blackmail you because he thinks one of us put his business in the public eye?" JC stated. "Yeah and basically, he hates the two of you for being able to get married, he hates you guys with a vengeance. I didn't think he would give up the tapes and the pictures the way he acted." Lance stated, "but I got all the stuff he said he had on us." "What! You have the stuff, let us see all of this!" Justin stated as Lance grabbed his backpack and removed all of the items he had received from Kevin. After looking at all the pictures and watching the videotapes, the guys all sat around and just looked at each other. Not knowing how Kevin was able to get all the stuff he had, the guys were shocked. "I just don't believe this. How did he get all of this stuff on us?" Justin asked. "I don't know, but the reason I didn't say anything was because he said he had someone watching me. If he had someone watching me, I am quite sure he had someone watching you guys too." Lance explained. "This is just too much to deal with. Lance I am so sorry, I should have seen that there was something wrong. I should have noticed something was not right." Joey stated. "It's alright baby, you just didn't know and I didn't do anything to tell you or try to give you a hint, I just let all of this hinder me too much." Lance stated. "No I should have seen something, I was just to bent up on thinking that you stopped loving me. I was convinced that there was something wrong with you and me and I almost did the unthinkable tonight." Joey stated as he started crying. "I almost slept with the person I went out with." At that very moment, Justin, JC and Chris' head snapped around to look at Joey. Shocked at the words he had just spoken, Lance turned to look at Joey and the look on Lance's face could have made anyone cry. Lance was hurt, he looked defeated, and he looked as someone had pulled out his heart. "You almost what?!" Justin asked. "You were out on a date?" "Yeah I went out on a date tonight and I almost let my emotions get the best of me. I almost let my lust overtake me." Joey spoke, "But I love Lance, I couldn't do anything like that to hurt him, even though I thought he didn't love me anymore." "Oh Joey I still love you, I love you very much. I just didn't know what to do. Please baby, don't say anything else." Lance stated, walking over to hold Joey in his arms. // Tampa, FL -- Nick Carter's Home // -- We join Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson in Tampa, FL where Nick has a home. -- "What's going on baby, why the long face?" Nick asked. "I am just a little tired is all. How did it go with recording today?" Kevin asked. "Everything went okay, how was the trip to LA?" Nick asked. "Everything went okay. I went to handle the business at Jive, but I had to handle some other things too." Kevin spoke. "Oh, what kind of things honey?" Nick asked. "Oh just some things for some of my investments and some things to make sure our future together continues." Kevin stated. "Well as long as we love each other, our future together will continue." Nick stated, "And I love you very very much Mr. Kevin Richardson." "I love you too very much Mr. Nick Carter-Richardson." Kevin stated, wrapping his arms around Nick's waist and pulling him down onto the sofa. "Oh I have missed this all weekend, I wish I would have been able to go with you, but I needed to lay down those new tracks and finish up some scenes in the video." Nick stated. "I know baby, but just think, we have the next couple of days to just relax and be us." Kevin stated as the phone rang. "Hello?" "Mr. Richardson, did you do what I told you to do?" the voice on the phone asked. Hearing this, Kevin excused himself from Nick and walked into another part of the house. "Yes I did. But he wouldn't fold, he did everything he could to keep those pictures and that tape from ending up on the news. He did everything on the list that you wanted him to do, he even signed over 20% of his company just to keep this quiet." Kevin explained. "He did all of the stuff on the list and gave up a share of his company. He must really love that man he's with. He wouldn't roll over on the married fags either?" the voice asked on the phone. "No. He didn't, he was willing to do anything." Kevin stated, as Nick was listening outside of the room. "That means I must do something else to get those N Sync guys." The voice stated on the phone. "Look you do what you want, but I am not going to have any part in that." I am not going to try and hurt those guys because you don't like them. I have already lied for you, hurt people that I like because of you, I will not do anymore of that." Kevin stated. "Oh yes you will, or I will make sure that your life with that sweet hubby of yours will be ruined a little bit more!" the guy shouted through the phone. "No, there is nothing more you can do to hurt me and Nick. You may have outed us, but we are still together and we are still happy." Kevin stated as Nick walked into the room. "Kev honey who are you talking too?" Nick asked walking over to Kevin. "No one baby, no one." Kevin stated hanging up the cell phone. "What have you done, and who did you do it to?" Nick asked, "I heard the whole conversation and I am not happy about what I heard. Who did you hurt, who did you lie to, was it me?" "No baby I didn't lie to you, I just have gotten myself into something I shouldn't have fell into. I am afraid that it's too late for me to solve this problem." Kevin stated. "Kev you didn't answer me! Who did you hurt?" Nick asked again with anger in his voice. "Fine; Baby I will tell you, but please don't get upset. To start, I was forced into blackmailing Lance Bass of N Sync and so far that I know of, I have probably ruined his life and his relationship with Joey Fatone right now because I was trying to convince him that if he and Joey continued to be together I would send proof of his relationship to the tabloids." Kevin explained. "You what!! How could you do something like that to someone else, after all that has happened to us? How could you Kev?" Nick asked, with more anger in his voice. "I am trying to protect us baby, there is a bad man out there and he will do anything that he can to make sure that he ruins us." Kevin stated. "Oh Kev, what have you gotten into?"
