Hi everyone. This is my first story on Nifty so I do hope that everyone
enjoys it. Any comments are welcome. Please email to writerdrew18@yahoo.com

This story is fiction and is not intended to imply anything about the true
sexuality of the celebrities mentioned or any personal knowledge about
their private lives. I do not own any celebrities mentioned in this story.

North Carolina has got to be the most boring place on the face of
this earth, if you're not living at the beach. Even then, it's still not as
fun as most other beaches. My name is Drew and I have recently moved from
the beaches of North Carolina to the triad of North Carolina. What a move
huh? When I turned 18 in August, I moved to Winston-Salem for college. I am
in nursing school at a local community college and I also work as a shift
leader at a convenience store. Basically, at work, I am in charge of all
the cashiers and maintenance employees. I love school and I love my job. I
have made many great friends and although I can't replace my friends back
home, it feels good to hang with people that can take my mind of the others
I left behind.

So the story begins when I was at work one day. I was feeling a
little down and homesick because I just bombed yet another anatomy
test. How am I supposed to major in nursing if I can't even pass an anatomy
class? So I was in one of my depressing moods and I had taken it out on one
of the new cashiers, Kristina, who happened to be a new addition to my
small group of friends. Kristina is a very fu loving person. She is 26 and
engaged but she is always flirting with her customers. She has long black
hair and weighs about 110 lbs. She can be a total bimbo sometimes and today
wasn't a good day to act like that. I yelled at her because she was acting
really retarded and trying to imitate two of the cashiers that completely
tore up my nerves. After I finished my piece, I had to apologize.

"Jeez dude, calm down. I am just trying to make you laugh. Why do you have
to be such a bitch all the time?"

"I'm sorry Kristina. I am just not having a good day and I shouldn't have
yelled at you like that."

"I know what its like to go through that time of the month. Why don't you
get Lorie to cover for you?"

"She has been training all week for the assistant manager position and I
don't want to ask her to come in for me."

"Well, she is your best friend. I know she wouldn't care. Call Parker and
see if he can get another store to send someone over."

"No I'm good. Parker is probably sleeping all ready. Ever since he became
the manager, he has had to work morning for the past week. He needs all the
rest he can get. And anyways, his stupid ass boyfriend doesn't like me
calling him. Even if it is work related."

The phone started ringing and I went to answer it. I picked up the
phone and acted chipper while saying the store's name and who I was. The
man on the line sounded really husky.

"Can I speak to the manager on duty?"

"Speaking. What can I do for you?"

"Is your station overhead canopy high enough to accommodate a tour bus?"

"I believe so. I can meet you outside when you arrive and guide you in if
you need me to."

"That would be helpful. Thank you."

The man hung up the phone. I thought that maybe it was a prank
call, so I decided to just ignore and forget the conversation. Kristina
looked at me with a confused look on her face, which by the way is
permanent.

"What was that all about?"

"Not sure."

"It wasn't Angela calling again, was it? You know she gets bored at Papa
John's when she doesn't have any deliveries."

"No. It was some man. Asked if we could accommodate a tour bus. He hung up
really quickly so I am guessing that it was a prank call."

After about five minutes, my best friend Lorie came running through
the door. I was surprised to see her because she had to work from 3 in the
morning till 3 in the afternoon, as part of her assistant manager
training. She is 21 and is already married to a real asshole. She has
shoulder length blonde hair and is very heavyset. She made it behind the
counter and was about to say something, but she had to stop and breathe for
a bit. I looked at her and smiled.

"Why are you running so fast? I didn't know the doughnut man was here."

Kristina and I started laughing and Lorie just flipped us off.

"Actually, you anorexic asshole, I have five tickets to a certain concert."

For best friends, Lorrie and I are polar opposites. Let me
explain. I am 5'8 and weigh 130 lbs. I have black hair and blue eyes, which
are hidden behind a dorky looking pair of glasses. Even though, I weigh
130, I look like I weigh less than that. I eat all the time and never gain
a pound. Lorrie has dubbed me either anorexic asshole or bulimic bitch. As
for the opposites, Lorrie is straight, married, hefty, and loud. I, on the
other hand, am gay, single, slim, and quiet, until someone pisses me off.

"Oh my god! Lorie, are you serious?

Kristina looked like she just had an orgasm. I had no idea what
they were talking about. They looked at me like I was from another planet.

"What?"

"Drew, you mean to tell me that you don't even know that your fav boy band
is in town?"

"You mean to tell me...."

"Yes hun. I have five tickets to the Nsync concert featuring performances
by 98 Degrees, Brittany Spears, Ashley Simpson, and Jessica Simpson."

"Drew, I can't believe you had no idea. It's only been all over MTV and the
local radio stations for months."

Could this be the event that I had been waiting for? The event that
would finally pull me out of my depressed slump and actually give me one
day of fun? I turned and looked out the window and noticed that a bus had
pulled up to one of our diesel pumps.

Well, I hope that the first chapter wasn't too boring. I needed to get all
my background info and my characters started somehow and this was the only
way I could think of. Well, if I didn't scare you away, I promise that the
next chapter will star the stars I love.
