Subject: Chosen Road, chapter 11
Hey guys, here it is, chapter 11. I'm kinda in a hurry, so I won't keep you
long. But as always, thanks to my archivers and readers, including Sue,
Sylv, Jaxx, Red, Ath, Colleen the Brian fan, Neena, Ray, Gabrielle, Michele,
Aimee, NCFan and everyone else, I love you guys!
Nick and Bri got their resolution last chapter...anyone else cry? :) Now,
since it's Justin's birthday today, here's mine and J.C.'s gift to him.
Probably the real Justin would be freaked by this, but what the heck. :)
Yes, you guessed it - smut ahead! If it sucks I'm sorry, I'm VERY
inexperienced when it comes to this. :)
DISCLAIMER: Don't own, don't imply. If this really happened, I'd be there
with a video camera, trust me. :)
When you're done reading this, you can check out the story "Angel", which is
hysterically funny, and I even get to play a demon in it! Then join the

~CHOSEN ROAD~
Chapter Eleven
"There's just no rhyme or reason
Only a sense of completion
And in your eyes, I see the missing pieces
I'm searching for, I think I've found my way home..."
- "I Knew I Loved You", Savage Garden
"Another song! Another song!" Chris shrieked.
"Noooo," Lance protested. "We've sung the entire U.S. album already.
Except for 'Tearin' Up My Heart'."
"Yeah! Yeah! We'll even re-enact the video! We can use that couch as
the bed...oh, wait, doesn't Lynn have a rule about no kiddie-porn in the
house?"
Justin chucked a pillow at Chris. "Shut up, Skunk-head!" he yelled,
using Todd's nickname for the eldest 'Nsyncer.
Each 'Nsync bodyguard had a nickname for his charge. Randy called
Lance 'Blondie', for obvious reasons. Eric called J.C. 'Spaz', an
appellation that his friends on MMC had used as well, because of his endless
and often erratic energy on stage. Chris's strange hair had earned him his
nickname, and Mike referred to Joey as 'Tornado' because of his loud and
often clumsy way of moving around. In Justin's opinion, his own nickname of
'Little Superstar' was no more flattering than the others, but he believed
that the name was meant to mock his enormous popularity - which he'd never
understood - or that it had something to do with the rumor that he was
conceited, though it had first been used before 'Nsync ever became big. In
truth - the truth everyone but Justin knew - Lonnie called Justin that
because he was so proud of him, and did think of him as the brightest star
in the entertainment sky.
Before Chris could respond, Randy entered the family room and cleared
his throat. "Boys? Just got word from Jive - they caught the 'kidnappers',
who turned out to be a couple of fans. So, lock-up's over."
"YEAH!" Chris yelled as he bounced on the couch cushions.
Randy eyed him warily. "Too much sugar again?"
"'Fraid so," J.C. answered.
The oldest member of 'Nsync leaped over the coffee table and,
miraculously, landed on his feet. "WOO HOO! We're free! Let's go out and
par-tay!"
Lance smiled. "Chris, it's already midnight."
"Perfect! All the teenies are asleep. C'mon, let's get the bodyguards
and go!"
"Go where?"
"Anywhere, Joe! Come on!" Chris took off like the Road Runner.
Joey looked at Lance, shrugged, and took his hand. "C? Curly? You
guys coming?"
"No," Justin answered quickly, flashing a smile at J.C. J.C. smiled
back, glad about having some time alone with his angel.
"Yeah, you guys go on. Lance, Randy, keep them out of trouble,
please?"
Randy responded with a look that said 'I'll try'. Still hand-in-hand,
Joey and Lance followed him toward the front door, looking for Chris as they
went.
J.C. kissed Justin, and pulled back to caress his smooth cheek. "I
better call Bri and check in with him and the guys."
"Okay. Come upstairs when you're done." Justin squeezed his
boyfriend's hand before disappearing.
J.C. practically ran to the kitchen, resolving as he dialed that this
would be a short phone call. He couldn't wait to get upstairs, where his
life was waiting for him.
Meanwhile, Joey, Lance and Chris were gathered at the front door
slipping their jackets on before they'd join the bodyguards outside.
Chris, beginning to come down from his sugar-high, sighed solemnly.
"Okay, guys. No J.C. to tear up the dance floor with what he likes to call
dancing, and no Justin to attract the ladies in groups of a hundred. But on
the bright side, no J.C. to lecture us about anything and everything, and no
Justin to rescue from persistent admirers again and again. However we do
have Scoop, who kinda cancels out that bright side by filling in for both."
Lance pouted. "Oh yeah, and how about you? You, my caffeine-enhanced
friend, are the reason being responsible is so hard."
Chris hugged him, almost drunkenly. "Cheer up, Poo-Fu! We's gonna
par-tay like porn stars!"
"Or get mobbed and have to come right back," Joey added.
"Um...yeah."
Lance reached for the doorknob, and looked up in confusion as Joey
stopped him. The older of the couple then opened the door and bowed
gallantly, gesturing for Lance to go first. He was rewarded with a gorgeous
smile as the blond headed outside.
Chris shook his head with amazement. "Sheesh, Joe. When did you
become such a gentleman?"
Joey was still watching Lance, a soft smile shaping his mouth. "When I
found a reason to."
------------------------------------------------------------------
When J.C. entered his and Justin's bedroom, he found the curly-haired
blond sitting Indian-style on one of the beds, dressed in a wifebeater and
boxers - baby blue, he noted with a smile. Justin looked up and grinned
brightly.
"Hi Josh. How are Brian and the guys?"
J.C. laughed as he stripped down to his boxers. "They're *great*. Bri
and Nick finally got themselves together, so they're all cheering about
that."
"Oh my God! I'm so glad. Now, finally, neither will feel alone
anymore."
J.C. sat down on the bed facing Justin and gazed at him with a sort of
disbelief. "God, I love you so much."
The warmth of Justin's hand came to rest on the older man's thigh. "I
love you too, Josh."
Justin swung his legs around so that they were stretched out across the
bed, with J.C. sitting in between them. J.C. looked at the teenager for
permission, and began to run his hands up and down the long limbs. He
massaged the muscular thighs for a few minutes, occasionally letting his
fingers stray briefly under the boxers.
Justin leaned back against the headboard and sighed with contentment.
Encouraged by the boy's smile, J.C. put his hands under the baby blue cloth
and began to rub the place where Justin's legs connected with his body.
"Mmm...that feels good, Josh."
"I was just thinking the same thing." J.C. smiled as Justin spread his
legs wider in response. His fingers continued their work until his thumb
brushed Justin's hardening penis, elliciting a soft gasp from the blond.
J.C. jerked back. "Baby, I'm sorry, am I going too fast?" he asked
worriedly.
Justin playfully smirked at him, and yanked off the underwear in one
fluid motion. "Nope."
J.C. kissed him, savoring the taste of those perfect pink lips, and let
his fingers trace the hardness of the exposed organ. Justin moaned into his
lover's mouth as a hand encased the upper half of his shaft. He thrust
against it impatiently, causing J.C. to pull back and smile. The older man
leaned down slowly, and took the leaking head into his mouth.
"Oh my God," Justin panted. "Don't stop, Josh..."
Not one to talk with his mouth full, J.C. squeezed Justin's hand to
reassure him, and began flicking his tongue around the organ he held between
his lips.
Justin ripped the sheet covering the mattress loose and clenched it in
his fists. "Oh, fuck..." he moaned.
The blond's hips began to jerk forward, seeking more. J.C. placed his
hands firmly on Justin's waist and began to move it slowly back and forth,
tempering the thrusts to a controlled rhythm. Carefully J.C. took nearly
the entire cock into his mouth, bathing it with his tongue. The wet
hardness went in and out of J.C.'s head, slid between his teeth as Justin
fought to keep from passing out.
A strange electricity began to surge from deep inside the younger
singer. Justin was too dazed to put it into words, but J.C. seemed to sense
it and increased the pace of Justin's thrusts, guiding his hips faster as
the climax approached.
"Josh," the teenager managed to murmur, before a loud guttural moan
escaped him. Justin nearly screamed with pleasure as he fell back against
the pillows and began to shoot streams of warm stickiness into J.C.'s mouth.
J.C. was holding his angel's lower body off the mattress, sucking and
swallowing every drop of the milky fluid. Justin trembled almost
uncontrollably as his breathing slowly began to return to normal. He felt
limp as he was lifted up, but smiled at J.C. as he was cradled in his
soulmate's strong arms.
"Wow. That was...oh my God. I never knew I could feel like that."
J.C. laughed softly. "I love making you feel good."
"Josh? I want you."
"You've always had me, angel."
"I mean...I want you...*in* me."
J.C. straightened up and cupped Justin's face in his hands, his
expression suddenly serious. "Baby, we have all the time in the world for
that."
"I know. And I wanna start now."
J.C. still looked uncertain.
"Josh, I'm ready. I want this. And..." The boy's eyes dropped.
"Maybe once I feel you in me, I'll stop feeling...you know, *him*."
"Oh, angel." J.C. combed the blond curls with his fingers, holding
Justin close to him. "Are you sure? This is so spontaneous, I thought that
I'd plan it all out..."
"You're so sweet, Josh. I know, you wanted to have the candles and
rose petals and soft music for me. But I was raped by candlelight, in a
room so dark I couldn't see what I most wanted to - your face, on the wall.
You've been singing me lullabies for years, and they and your voice are the
songs that make me feel the most safe. I don't need romantic music or
flower petals to make this special for me...I just need *you*. If *you're*
not ready, than I understand. But I need you to know *I* am. Here, and
now." Justin smiled.
J.C. smiled back. "Believe me, Just, I want this too. But are you
sure it's been enough time since -"
"Since my whole world fell apart. Since I lost what I wanted to give
to you. Yes. It's been an eternity, especially when I was hiding in
myself."
"What was that like?"
"Kinda like being underwater. No pain, not really, but no feeling
either. I wanted to be safe, but I realized that you can't be free if fear
is holding you down. You have to deal with it to move forward...otherwise,
what's the point?" Justin rested his head on J.C.'s shoulder. "I feel safe
with you, Josh. You won't hurt me."
Hands slipped underneath Justin's wifebeater, feeling the warm skin.
"This is about love," J.C. whispered. "About giving, not taking. So *this*
will be your first time, okay?"
Justin nodded. His heart was pounding, and not from fear.
J.C. shrugged off his boxers. "Our old agreement still stands. If at
*any* time you wanna stop, then you stop me. No guilt. Promise?"
"Promise. I love you, Josh."
"I love *you*, Justin." J.C. slowly slipped the wifebeater over the
teenager's head, letting it fall to the floor in a small heap of white
fabric. He licked his thumbs and moved them in a circular pattern over
Justin's nipples, teasing them erect. The blond moaned as J.C.'s mouth
closed over one, and then the other, sucking them gently. The older man's
lips travelled over the hairless chest and hard stomach, wanting to taste
every inch of the firm body. Justin's breathing became louder as J.C.'s
tongue sensually traced every muscle, moving agonizingly slowly.
The blond moaned pleadingly, and J.C. quickly got a tube of lubricant
from the nightstand drawer. After coating his fingers he pulled Justin up
until he was kneeling on the bed, his knees bent and his thighs spread.
"Angel, I'm gonna loosen you up first, okay?"
Justin nodded dizzily, and leaned against J.C. as a slick finger
slipped into him. another joined it, and they moved in and out as Justin
wiggled, trying to force them deeper. The hot hole was stretched wider
until J.C. ran out of fingers, and gently withdrew his hand.
J.C. was nervous as he lay Justin down and began to lubricate his own
penis. Tony had done this to him once, but he had never penetrated anyone
before. Despite his scarcely-began research on this subject, J.C. was
acting mostly on instinct. Then Justin looked up at him and smiled, and all
doubt melted away.
He lifted Justin's legs, placing the teenager's feet over his
shoulders. After rubbing Justin's stomach for a minute to reassure him,
J.C. gently guided his eager cock into the tight opening. Justin's hands
grabbed J.C.'s arms and squeezed them.
"Oh, God, Josh..."
Once he was in, J.C. paused, and leaned down to kiss Justin, and
breathe in the familiar, sweet scent of the bright curls he'd stroked
thousands of times. Justin pushed his tongue into J.C.'s mouth, amking the
kiss frantic and passionate before breaking it.
"Josh, I need you, please..." he moaned.
Gazing for one last assurance at the beautiful body below him, bathed
in moonlight streaming through the window, J.C. took hold of Justin's hips
and slid halfway out, then back in.
Justin put his hands over J.C.'s, holding them in place. He writhed as
J.C. slowly emptied and entered him, a dizzying and wonderful charge running
through his body. After a few minutes the pace sped up, and Justin moved to
meet each measured thrust as he stroked himself, never breaking the rhythm.
Moaning God's name and eachother's, the lovers lost all sense of time
as outside, the stars began moving. It seemed that Earth and the heavens
were in motion, that the universe itself spun around them as joy painted all
of reality anew. Justin and J.C. moved together as if they were one being,
as fireworks of ecstasy burst again and again within each quivering body.
As though they shared a mind, glimpses of their life thus far together
flashed before them as they neared orgasm together.
~"Hi, we didn't get a chance to meet yet. I'm -"
"J.C. Hi, I'm Justin."
"You can call me Josh."~
~"I'm glad we met, Josh. I knew you were gonna change my life the
moment you walked up to me. Weird, huh?"~
~"*Don't*, C. Look at Justin and see only a friend."
"I can't, Tony. I *can't*."~
~"He *is* my happiness, Tony. And I'm lucky."~
~"I'm such an asshole! *You* love me for me and I can't even feel it
back! What's *wrong* with me?!"~
~"I make you cry."
"The situation makes me cry. *You* make me happy."~
~"I wish I could love you that way. I wish I were different."
"Don't ever wish to be anything but what you are, Justin."~
~"I know I'm overprotective sometimes. I just don't want anything to
happen to you."~
~"Don't cry, it makes my heart ache to see you cry..."~
~"You've never let me cry alone before."~
~"I think you guys actually *are* soulmates. Something just went
wrong."~
~"That love amazes me every day, 'cause I never thought I'd feel
*anything* so strong."~
~"Josh...the thing is...I'm not sure if it's enough for *me*."~
~"Come back or somehow I'm going down there. I'm not losing you..."~
~"Justin, you will never, *ever* lose me."~
The moment came, and each lover half-moaned, half-shouted the other's
name as hot wetness engulfed Justin's insides and splattered onto J.C.'s
stomach. J.C. shuddered with pleasure and fell forward, landing on his
side. He pulled Justin into his arms and caressed the spent body lovingly
as he gently drew himself out of the tight hole. He and Justin kissed and
lovingly touched eachother for a few minutes before J.C. spoke.
"Angel?"
In response, Justin snuggled closer. "That was...oh, God."
"To say the very least," J.C. laughed. "I love you."
"I love you too...wow, I love saying that. Josh...has anything changed
between us, do you think? *Really* changed?"
"Not so much with the sex, maybe," J.C. murmured, still dazed from the
indescribable experience. "but falling in love turns the world upside-down
in such an amazing way. So, my reality changed years ago."
Justin rested his head against J.C.'s chest, listening to the heart
pound against his cheek the way it had once beat against his open hand. He
closed his eyes, falling asleep as J.C.'s hands reminded him how safe he
was. The way they always had.
"You know, Josh, I think maybe mine did too."

~Letter from Tony Lucca to Justin Timberlake; Saturday, February 6, 1999~
Dear Justin,
You must think it's strange that I'm writing to *you*, since we've
never been close friends. I'm sorry for that, and would like it to change.
And since all these years I've talked so much to J.C. about you, I now want
to talk to *you* about *him*.
J.C. was, I think, the first guy I ever loved, so he'll always hold a
special place in my heart. Though he didn't return my feelings we were very
close, and it wasn't until the day you two met that we began to drift apart.
Please understand, I'm not angry at you at all. Even that day, as I saw
you and C walk away together, I had a feeling that you somehow belonged
together, that you could maybe love him the way I wanted to. I can't tell
you what it means to me that you and Spaz are together the way I long
thought you should be. I once disliked you with all the jealousy of a
foolish, stubborn heart, but deep down I was always grateful to you for
making J.C. so happy.
I ask that you please take care of him, as I know you will. You know,
don't let him take things too seriously, don't let him work himself to death
writing...that sort of thing. I hope you two can come visit Marc and I
soon, so we can all hang out together. It'll be great, Brat, just like old
times. :) Only better.
Marc is sitting a few feet away from me, smiling as though he knows I'm
thinking about him. I keep meaning to ask J.C. if this is what he's been
feeling all these years for you - that wonderful, warm knowledge that you're
never really alone. Marc says that all relationships and all hearts are
different, but I hope that he and I will always be as happy as I know you
and J.C. will be.
It's quiet here now, as he and I give eachother shy little glances. It
reminds me of how you and J.C. used to sit together, not saying a word, just
smiling at eachother. Maybe the silence is enough for now, maybe it speaks
in a way the tongue can't. At least, it was always like that for you and
Spaz. Be happy, both of you. Be happy together.
As we used to say...MMC-ya later! :)
Your friend always,
Tony
P.S. I'm really sorry about what happened to you, kiddo. I didn't want to
bring it up, but I wanted you to know that I was really scared while you
were missing. And not just for J.C.'s sake. Thank God you're okay. Never
mind J.C....what would *the world* be like without you?

~Excerpt from newspaper article; Thursday, March 18, 1999~
...Timothy Korman, the man who made international news last fall by
kidnapping 'Nsync member Justin Timberlake, was yesterday sentenced to 10
years in prison, with his first parole opportunity scheduled for 2001.
Korman, who afterward assisted the Orlando Police Department and FBI in
Timberlake's recovery, plead guilty to charges of unlawful imprisonment of a
minor and kidnapping. The court took it into consideration that he was
acting in the interests of his family, who were in danger from his employer,
the late Colin R. Elwood, during the abduction of Timberlake and an
attempted kidnapping of 'Nsync bass singer Lance Bass.
Elwood, the reclusive multi-millionaire owner of computer-manufacturing
corporation InfoTech Worldwide, reportedly committed suicide when the
Orlando PD and FBI arrived at his mansion, located with the help of Korman,
a kidnapper and mercenary for over ten years. Mr. Elwood does not appear to
have any surviving family, though his colleagues expressed shock that he
took part in this crime, saying that he was a quiet man, friendly but
usually preferring to be alone. A statement given by the Orlando Police
Department says that the exact reason for the kidnapping is unknown, and was
probably caused by Elwood's obsession with 'Nsync's music and his
psychological problems.
Detective Thomas Larsen, who was present throughout the entire
investigation, said, "Mr. Elwood was found to have a very impressive
collection of 'Nsync memorabilia. As he was apparently unstable and
deranged enough to want to add Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass to his
'collection', we think he might not have stopped until he had all five
members of the group imprisoned."
Though Timberlake is now seeing a psychiatrist to cope with the trauma
of his brief captivity, both he and Bass were reported to be physically
unharmed by the ordeal. 'Nsync, who recently separated from their
management company TransContinental, are presently working on their new
album. Rumor has it that plans are being made for 'Nsync and fellow Jive
artists the Backstreet Boys to do a live TV concert special, with the two
groups singing both separately and together.
Timothy Korman himself had this to say - "I'll never stop being sorry
for what I did, but starting now I'm going to make it up. I'm going to
somehow repay the world for what I tried to take from it."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
~February, 1999~
As they headed through the cemetery, away from Rick's grave, Justin
thought of the framed photograph that sat on his dresser, a picture of a
serious, kind man who had seen something special in Justin, something worth
even his own life. Justin wondered about this, as he said another silent
thank-you to the red-haired martyr.
//I'm so many things to so many people. To my fans I'm some sort of
god, to the guys I'm their baby brother. To Timothy Korman I was a turning
point; to Colin Elwood, a symbol of salvation. To Jonathan, and soon to
someone else, I'm the big brother who isn't there nearly as much as I'd like
to be; and the rest of my family still sees me as the little boy who would
sing to them at picnics instead of in stadiums. To Johnny and the rest of
management I'm often still the fourteen-year-old walking nervously into the
recording studio. And to Josh, I'm his love, his angel even after all this
time. To myself...I'm not sure. But I think I'm finally on my way to
finding out. There must be something of value in me, if Josh sees it.//
As they walked hand-in-hand, listening to the music of the afternoon,
J.C. noticed something he hadn't seen in months. On Justin's right wrist
was a baby blue 'WWJD?' bracelet.
J.C. stopped, lifted the hand and stared at it. Justin laughed at the
look of disbelief on his boyfriend's face.
"It just seemed appropriate," he explained. "Some wounds have finally
healed. I was mad at God, but I'm not now. Now that I have you, how can I
be anything but grateful?"
"You're *so* much more," J.C. said, pulling the eighteen-year-old
closer. "You're perfect. Whatever you do, you'll always be my perfect
angel."
"Takes one to know one," Justin murmured.
As they embraced tightly, a small black box fell from J.C.'s jacket
pocket onto the grass. He retrieved it quickly, smiling nervously as
Justin's beautiful face became curious.
"What's that, Josh?"
"Um..."
"You may as well tell me, you know you can't lie to me."
"It's empty? It's my lucky box?"
Justin shook his head and, just in case, gave J.C. the pouty look that
never failed to get Justin what he wanted.
J.C. sighed with defeat, but also smiled. "You know, I wanted more
time to plan this moment. I was thinking of it happening on top of a
mountain beside an unspoiled crystal stream, or by a still lake at sunset,
or on the beach at dawn, with only the sound of the waves breaking. But oh,
no. You're gonna make me do it in a *graveyard*. What are we gonna tell
our grandchildren?"
"Josh, what are you talking about?"
Still clutching one of Justin's hands, J.C. sank down to one knee on
the leafy grass, and held up the box.
"Justin, angel, will you marry me?"
The blond was mute with surprise for a moment as a gorgeous grin filled
his face. "You're joking."
"Open the box, baby."
Justin took the velvet-covered box and slowly lifted the lid. He
gasped as the sun glinted brightly against diamonds and gold, and there was
the tiniest flash of pink there too...
As though J.C.'d read his mind, he said, "I had a piece of the rose
quartz put in with the diamonds. It is the 'Love Stone', after -"
Justin pulled J.C. off the ground and hugged him, weeping tears of joy
against the twenty-two-year-old's jacket. Familiar arms slipped under his
own jacket to encircle the teenager's waist, and one hand patted his back
soothingly. After a moment Justin pulled back and laughed, hurriedly wiping
his wet cheeks.
"Josh, it's so beautiful..."
"It has to be, if *you're* gonna wear it. So...now that you legally
*can*, in some places anyway, will you marry me?"
Justin kissed him, tasting the sweetness of the sacred moment. "Of
course I will!"
J.C. slid the ring onto Justin's finger; it fit perfectly. "God, I
still can't believe you're finally mine."
"Josh, I always was," the blond said, embracing his fiance. "We always
belonged to eachother. It just took me longer to realize it. Was it worth
it? Worth all those years of not having love?"
"Oh, angel. You have *no* idea."
