Author's note: English is my second language and therefor there may be some
'odd' use of terms and even misspells (I'm not even sure I spelled that
correctly) because I lack an English proof reading dictionary in MS Word.
I apologise for this. Since I lack some skills in the English language, I'm
forced to use a much more simple language in this story than I'm comfortable
with, I apologise for this also and hope that it'll not affect your "viewing
pleasure" ;-).

In the previous part I failed to mention the date; it took and still takes
place in July this year, when the Backstreet Boys visited Sweden to work on
their new album entitled "Black and Blue".

I also feel that the previous episode failed to incorporate enough feelings
and therefor not captivate the reader enough, which stories (in my humble
opinion) as "Open arms", "Just the truth(?)" and "Collision course with BSB"
and more has succeeded with. I'll try and work on that. When we're talking
stories, I also have to mention "Boy meets BSB" - I won't even attempt to
reach such a level of work, as Lucky Lou managed.

For those of you who has knowledge of Swedish legislation; further down in the
story you'll find that Matt, even though he's older than eighteen, has both
Swedish and American citizenship. I am aware that this is not allowed by
Swedish law, but this is fiction.

Part 2 - Revelation

********

The sun hit Brian in his face, waking him. He moved his head
away from the attacking sun, trying to get some shelter. Soon he
noticed his arm was around Nick, who was resting his head on his chest,
sleeping. Brian sat in his seat, gently brushing Nick's hair - playing
with it while looking out through the window. The flight had reached
Europe and according to the map on the screen in front of him, they
were just over the Netherlands making they're way to Stockholm.

A flight attendant who had noticed he was awake approached
him, carrying a box of some kind, "Good morning sir, may I offer you a
warm towel?" she asked him.

"Thank you." he replied and reached for the towel.

"Is there anything else I can do for you sir?" she said and
flashed him a smile.

"Nah thanks, I'm fine." Brian said, returning the smile.

"Just call if there's anything." and then she left.

After a while Nick began to come out of his sleep starting to
move slightly. When Brian noticed this he gave Nick a warm hug, pulling
him closer and shook him lightly.

"Mornin' Nick." Brian said and smiled at Nick.

Nick looked up at Brian, seeing his smile made Nick feel all
warm inside. He loved waking up in Brian's arm as he so often do when
he fell asleep while travelling.

"Where are we?" Nick groggily asked Brian.

"I guess we're somewhere over Sweden, we'll be in Stockholm
soon."

"Great, then we'll be on solid ground soon! I haven't slept
a bit tonight." Nick replied.

"Yeah! So I noticed!" Brian responded and laughed.

After that they spent the rest of the flight in silence,
they're minds wandering off to other things.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen." The voice of the captain
echoed through the cabin. "We'll now begin our descent and I must therefor
ask you to return to your seats. The weather in Stockholm is currently
cloudy with rain and about 19 degrees Celsius. The local time in Sweden
is Central European Time, which is 16.22 or 4.22 PM. I hope you've had
a pleasant flight and that you'll choose to fly with United again.
Thank you."

The plane began to shake as it descended towards Arlanda airport
and the flight attendants rushed around in the cabin collecting various
articles from the passengers, making sure that everyting was ready for
landing.

Nick was looking out through the window, not seeing anything due
to the clouds, getting more and more anxious. He hated take-offs and
landings, he hated the way the planes behaved while climbing and descending,
he hated the feeling in his body when the earth was struggling to make the
plane return to the ground. He hated flying.

Nick continued to watch, it was nothing but grey outside, he was
getting cold just by looking at it, 'This ain't how it use to be in Sweden
during summer?' Nick thought 'I only packed shorts and t-shirts. Now I'll
have to go shopping.' and then he smiled.

The wind grabbed hold of the plane, pushing it sideways and upways
- like a horrific rollercoaster. Then suddenly Brian, who also watched
through the window, could see land, just a few feets below and then he felt
the gears, with loud thumps and screeches, connecting to the runway. The
engines were roaring, desperatley trying to make the big 747 slow down
before reaching the end of the runway.

'Wow, that was cool!' Brian, unlike Nick, loved to fly, in fact
take-offs and landings were his favorites. He then looked over where Nick
sat, seeing that the blonde was desperately holding on to the armrests, his
hands white, well most of his body was pretty white except for his face which
was getting a strange color. Brian was a bit confused by this but then
noticed that Nick was holding his breath, hence the color.

"Come on Nick, we've landed and we survived - you can start breathing
again!" Brian laughed and brushed his hands playfully in Nick's hair.

The 747 was taxi-ing, heading towards the terminal, and for Nick -
freedom. Brian was wathcing the outside, Arlanda is located outside of
Stockholm surrounded by forest, so there wasn't much to see but since he's
from Florida, it was still special. He felt both relief and excitement about
getting here, it was something special about being in Sweden - he loved the
atmosphere, the people and ... just mostly everything. It was so different
from where he's from. Although the weather he could live without.

***

He couldn't wait to get off the plane and enter the "Swedish way of
living". Brian knew that Nick also couldn't wait to get off, although for a
completely different reason. Just thinking about made Brian smile. They soon
reached the gate and Nick quickly released the seatbelt and got up from the
seat, reaching up to the over-head compartments bringing out his and Brian's
bags. Matt had also gathered his stuff and was right behind Nick and Brian
when they disembarked.

When exiting the plane they were ushered through a long tube,
leading to the gate entrance and from there on they were directed by signs to
the customs. After a couple of minutes of walking through crowded lounges and
gates they reached the end of a hallway with two exits. Over the left exit a
sign stated "European Union residents only" and the right exit read "Residents
from non-European Union countries".

"Well, we better take the left one then, don't you think?" Matt asked
and started walking towards the door, pushing it open in front of him. "Come
on!". Brian and Nick followed through the door. They then found themselves in
a dark, grey square room and in front of them were the customs booths.

"Nick, you go first, 'K?" Matt asked Nick and then placed his hand on
Nick's back, giving him a gentle push forward. "By the way, you got your
passport ready, right?"

"Uhm, yeah..." Nick reached into his pocket, "I got it right here!".

He took it out and walked up to the booth, handing his passport to the
clerk on duty. The female clerk, who was about forty years, looked at the
picture, compared it with Nick and when satisified, giving it a stamp not
showing any indications of recognising him for who he was.

"Enjoy your stay in Sweden, mr Carter" she said and returned the
passport, her face not revealing any emotions.

Nick walked forwards a couple of meters and stood there waiting
until Brian and Matt would be cleared for entrance. Brian was put through
the same procedure as Nick and was quickly given permission to enter Sweden.
Everything went smoothly until Matt decided to wave his Swedish passport
instead of his American - the clerk, who obviously had a bad day, got on his
case about entering the wrong exit, since he was a Swedish citizen he should
have used the "European Union resident" exit and not this one. They argued
for awhile until Matt got tired of it.

"Ok, aer du noejd nu daa? (OK, does this satisfy you?)" Matt asked
the clerk with an annoyed tone and gave her his American passport.

The clerk, who was noticably annoyed, shot him a glare that could
kill and then took his passport giving it a stamp.

"Vaelkommen till Sverige. (Welcome to Sweden.)" She responded with
a sour face and handed him his passport back.

Matt walked up to Nick and Brian who immideately began questioning
him about what the disagreement between him and the clerk had been about.
Matt just brushed it off, saying that the woman had a mild case of PMS or
something.

Brian was the first out through the door leading to the main terminal
and the luggage pick-up. At the other side Brian walked forward to the
railing and looked from the second floor down at what was named Sky City.
Below him people was rushing by at various directions and Brian couldn't wait
to get down there and out in the Swedish atmosphere, it had a different smell
and feel to it than he was use to.

"Come on you guys!" This time it was Brian who was ushering the group
to get moving. "The luggage pick-up's this way." and then he rushed off, Nick
and Matt desperately trying to keep up with his quick pace.

"Shit Brian, what did you have for breakfast? Or lunch or whatever
time it is!?" Nick was panting and leaning on Brian for support when they got
to the baggage claim.

Brian laughed and turned around to give Nick a hug, smiling. Though
Nick wasn't standing where Brian thought he did so when he turned around,
placing his arms around Nick's waist, the was standing face to face with Nick.
Just inches away from eachothers lips. It was as if the world stopped to Brian
when he stood there looking in to Nick deep blue eyes, feeling his warm breath
touching Brian's lips. Brian had never felt like this before, his heart was
melting, the world outside just disappeared, he was lost in Nick's eyes. Brian
tightened his grip on Nick's waist and slowly started lean in to kiss him when
they voice of Matt brought him out of his trance.

"What the fuck happened with you two?" Matt asked annoyed, "Maybe you
should switch to Energizer and then you'll last longer and I won't have to
jump start you like this!" Matt continued with a smile on his face and laughter
in his voice, the sexual tension in the air had totally passed right over his
head, him not noticing a thing.

"Yeah, I'll consider that." Brain responded half-heartedly with a laugh
after taken a quick look around him, no one in the crowded area seemed to have
noticed. Brian was closely observing Nick for any reactions but the blonde was
acting as though nothing had happened 'And maybe nothing did happened' Brian
began thinking 'perhaps it was all in my head... Clearly Nick didn't take it
the same way I did.' And then he picked up his luggage, trying not to think
about what had happened.

They were waved through by the police officers who didn't believe them
to smuggle anything and having passed the last checkpoint, suddenly they were
in Sweden, standing in the middle of Sky City. Matt was searching the area for
any signs of a Hertz rental desk and after a few moments he found what he was
looking for and they all headed for the desk, eager to get on their way.

"Vad kan jag staa till tjaenst med? (May I help you sir?)" the young
woman behind the Hertz desk questioned Matt when he arrived.

"Yes, please." he responded in English. "I've made reservations for
a BMW."

"Certainly sir, could I please have your name?" the woman continued
in English.

"It's Matt Young, I believe it's been booked by Jive Records."

The woman typed on her computer and found the reservation. "Yes, I
found it here. A BMW 540i with navigation system? We've had the windows tinted
as requested, in fact it just arrived back from the shop!" the woman exclaimed
excitedly as she had began recognising Brian and Nick.

"Excuse me, but I couldn't help but noticing" the woman directed
herself at Nick and Brian, "You don't happen to be with the Backstreet Boys,
do you?!" in her mind already certain.

Nick, not wanting her to cause a scene, leaned in over the desk to give
her a hug and whispered in her ear at the same time, "Yeah, but we're kinda not
here, if ya get what I mean, so could we please keep this a secret for a couple
of days, 'K?" and then he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

The woman who nearly fainted after getting both a hug AND a kiss from
the Nick Carter, just nodded her head and then after a few seconds managed to
whisper "Could I please have your autographs?"

"Sure!" Brian responded and smiled. "Why don't you give us your address
and we'll send you some stuff when we get back to Orlando?" he continued.

The woman nearly fainted again and then scribbled down her name and
address at a piece of paper, handing it to Brian.

"Well thank you..." Brian looked at the piece of paper he'd recieved,
"Therese! I'll make sure you'll get the stuff as soon as possible." and flashed
her another smile.

"I don't mean to be rude," Matt cut in, "but we'd better get on our way.
So if you could please...?"

"Certainly sir!". The woman straightened up and put a form on the desk
for Matt to fill out. "You'll have the BMW for four days and then switch to a
Chevrolet Trans sport, right?"

	"U-huh" Matt nodded in agreement.

"OK, Please fill out this form and then if I could have your driver's
license and passport please?"

Matt filled out the required parts of the form and then returned it
with his Swedish passport and driver's license, causing the woman some
confusion.

"You're Swedish...?" The woman was in obvious disbelief.

"Yeah, well both American and Swedish, I've never actually lived in
Sweden." Matt explained abruptly, eager to get away.

The woman settled with this and filled out the rest of the form and
returned the passport and driver's license, giving him the keys to the car.

"The car is parked at our parking lot just to the left of the
entrance to terminal 3, give this card to the attendant and he will get the
car for you. If there's any problems or you have any questions about the car,
just call the number on this note and you'll get in touch with our support.
Enjoy! And thank you for choosing Hertz." She finished off with a blinding
smile.

While they were walking to terminal 3, Nick questioned Matt, "I don't
get it, why didn't you just speak to her in Swedish?".

"Nah, old habit I guess, besides everyone here knows how to speak
English and it usually speeds up things." Matt answered, not really caring.
The jet-lag was starting to get to both him and the others.

The walk to terminal 3 didn't take too long and soon they arrived at
the Hertz compound, where they had to wait a couple of minutes until the car
was brought to them.

"Here you go!" the attendant declared and handed back the keys. "You
know how everything works?"

"It shouldn't be any problems. Thank you." Matt was short in his
reply, however the attendant didn't let them go so easy.

"You guys really must have some influence, I mean, they rarely alter
a car's specifications because of request from a customer?" The guy continued,
curious of who they were.

While Matt was talking with the attendant, Brian was looking at Nick,
observing him. Nick was standing in front of him looking out over the area not
noticing that Brian was looking at him. 'God he's beautiful. Wonder if he
noticed anything back before. I don't think he did..., we hug eachother often,
all the time...'. Brian felt a shiver going up through his spine when the wind
took a hold of Nick's golden hair and Nick pulling his hand through it, fixing
it back in place. While doing this he turned, exposing his profile to Brian,
who got all warm inside seeing him and started to feel light-headed as well.
He wanted to go over to him, wrap his arms around him and never let go,
savouring the touch forever.

***

Eventually the parking attendant catched on to the fact that Matt
wasn't interested in a conversation and let him go.

"Well then, that ought to be all then, you're ready to hit the roads."

"Thank you." Matt turned to face the car and began walking to it when
he noticed that neither Nick or Brian followed.

'Christ! What's the matter with those guys today?'. He sighed deeply
and turned around, calling out for Brian,

"Hey! Come on, we're ready to go!". Brian didn't seem to notice so Matt
had to walk up to him, giving him a light push and punching Nick on the way.

Brian, whose heart just stopped when the wind grabbed a hold of Nick's
hair, hadn't noticed Matt calling out to him and was startled by the touch.

	"Huh?" He uttered questionly.

"We're ready to go." Matt over-pronounced and shook his head in
despair. 'It's gotta be the jet-lag...'. "Are you coming Nick?" he asked,
stressing the "coming" to mark his irritation.

"Yeah." he replied without any noticeable reaction.

Nick seemed distant and concerned which worried Matt a bit. Nick
was never very deep and in-wards, but instead very open with how he felt
and thought, with an almost constant smile on his face - not a worry in the
world. 'It's been a long flight, after a good night's sleep everything will
be back to normal.' Matt thought and remembered he had to fix a car with a
manual gearbox so he could teach Nick how to shift gears. He had a vague
idea of where he'd get the car, he'd have to see about that later. He then
fumbled a bit with the keys and then he found the right one, pressing the
button to open the trunk and put one of his bags in it, waiting for the
other to bring their bags.

Nick grabbed a hold of his suitcases and went over to the car,
putting one of the bags in the trunk since there wasn't room for more than
three big suitcases, the rest had to ride with them in the passenger
compartment. He then took one of Brian's bags, avoiding any eye contact
with him, and put it in the trunk. The trunk closed with a muffled 'thump'
and Nick seated himself in the front passenger seat, since Brian already
sat in the back.

Matt opened the driver's door and slumped into the seat. He turned
the ignition and the mighty V8 engine roared when all it's cylinders filled
up with gas and came to life. Matt put the transmission in 'Drive' and
stepped on the accelerator - they were on their way. It had started raining
so the wipers flew constantly across the wind screen doing its best to keep
the visibility above zero. The mood in the car was the same as weather
outside - grey and cloudy, everyone was occupied with their own thoughts.
Soon they reached a junction where Matt made a right turn to the road
connecting with the freeway and they joined the other motorists stressing
forward at speeds well over 110 km/h, disappearing into the fog.
